What happens when the race is no longer against each other, but against Leviathan itself? As the head of the snake reappears, and as our heroes are allied against a common enemy, the bike race changes gears and the prize comes into focus-a chance for the winner to sit in the Mobius chair and ask one question.
An adrenaline fueled read that serves as a fast, fun and unique entry within the DC Universe! Read Full Review

Nightwing #49 has a great tempo. The whole racing theme may have played a part in it, but I really think it has to with Percy writing Nightwing the perfect amount of internal monologue. Sometimes Nightwing can talk to himself just a tad too much. The next issue will probably go in the opposite direction with the situation only becoming more complex. Read Full Review
Nightwing #49 gave me everything I have been wanting from a Nightwing title since Percy took over. It leans into its Wacky Racers feel (though I'm not sure if that was intentional or not), and delivers a fast paced story with a lot of laughs and a lot more chaos. The artwork continues to be at the top of my list when it comes to the Big 2. The only thing I wish is that we got more time with this incredible team. Read Full Review
This is probably the best kind of filler arc that you could hope for in modern comics. It's a quick two-part joint that gets your adrenaline jumping and serves as a nice stand-alone story that still has pertinent consequences to the main arc. Nightwing #49 is the type of issue that leaves you out of breath at the end. And if this is just the appetizer to the milestone issue coming out next October, I can't' wait for the main course. Percy leads the issue to Batman #55, which will set the stage for the big 50th anniversary issue next month. This was a stronger outing for Percy's Nightwing, suggesting with a few more months on the title he could have really turned things around after a somewhat uneventful start. Read Full Review
This is another great Nightwing book in Percy's run on the title thus far. Read Full Review
Percy does a good job with Silencer, although she's far away from her family and status quo. Read Full Review
Amancay Nahuelpan does a great job this issue with the artwork too. Able to capture the craziness of the race, as well as the emotion behind Nightwing's actions. I particularly love the look of The Silencer, I think she has such a cool look. As do most of the secondary characters in this comic. Read Full Review
This issue is far from perfect, but it does play out much better than previous attempts from Ben Percy. The death race is a fun, wild ride that should entertain most readers, and I'm happy to say that the presentation of the characters actually feels like it's on point. Logic and convenient, unbelievable progression hinder the story a bit. Depending on how forgiving you are, these moments might be easy to write off, but even then, it'll be hard to deny that the ending of this chapter basically makes the entire story pointless. Yeah, not much of an ending here, but since I wasn't really enjoying this arc at all, it doesn't really bother me. What you get though is Silencer for no real reason and an over the top concept that while it doesn't make much sense, does offer a bit of fun. The real reason to buy this issue though is the art because it's fantastic. I just wish I felt the same about the story. Read Full Review
This ischapter II of Harms Way, a brief story-arc-within-a-story-arc as Nightwingcontinues his battle against the Dark Web. Its a tale thats gone on longenough, in my opinion. Like professor Pyg, a little goes a long way, and Ivegrown a little bored with it. Time for DC to wrap this story up. Read Full Review
An anticlimactic conclusion that leaves many plot threads unresolved, but still features enough action and character moments to keep a reader entertained. Read Full Review
Like the previous issue, this story surrounding an insane motorcycle race is incredibly captivating, and the ridiculous premise allows for the art to take a lot of fun, creative directions. Read Full Review
A story that has some interesting moments, but really awkward pacing, with art that never quite solidifies for me. A little disappointing. Read Full Review
THE GOOD:
-The issue had very good art, portrayed all of the characters very well. Nicely done.
-The characters are pretty well-written. Even if the story was messy, the characters felt like themselves for once.
THE BAD:
-The race itself was little more than a series of loud noises and explosions. The familiar faces are there for no reason other than shock value.
-Why is the Silencer in this issue?
-The ending is basically saying, "Very shortly we are going to be changing both the creative team and the direction of the series, so we can't have the story play out the way it was originally intended, but this issue still needed to come out, so we'll say things are 'buying some more
