DC Comics News - Derek McNeil Sep 3, 2019

Whenever a new issue of The Terrifics comes out, it's always the first book I have to read. Jeff Lemire created something special with this title and the quality hasn't slackened since Gene Luen Yang has taken over the reins. As Bizarro might say: The Terrifics am worst DC title! Me hate it! Read Full Review

Black Nerd Problems - Mikkel Snyder Aug 28, 2019

This type of unexpected situation is the bread and butter of The Terrifics, and The Terrifics #19 embraces the sheer oddness of Lex Luthor's machinations to the fullest. Yang and Raynor clearly had so much fun developing this comic and you can feel that joy permeate throughout the page. Read Full Review

All of this was a great build-up towards how this fits into the lives of The Terrifics, and making you question how they might put a cap on this one. Read Full Review

Following the issue's large amount of opposite speak can get a little overwhelming in parts, but this still manages to be a weird and fun read, setting up an interesting conflict in the issues to come. Read Full Review

Geek Dad - Ray Goldfield Aug 28, 2019

Trying to parse backwards speak for a whole issue is irksome and overall this plot just doesn't let Yang shine with the dialogue like he usually does. Read Full Review
