It was wonderful seeing these two characters share the page once more, and better yet done in a way that didn't relegate Laura to the passenger seat. If you read one Generations book, make it this one. Read Full Review

The moment in time explored in this issue was a big one for Logan and with Laura's help, while she may have not changed his fate, she did change a major part in his life. With Laura's help this one single time of doing something different will hopefully impact Amiko Kobayashi's life in a positive way. I doubt this event will make any impact in the ongoing All-New Wolverine series, but I hope that what Laura did for Amiko changes history in some way that is shown in the Marvel Universe in an upcoming story. Generations has done a fine job entertaining me to this point, and Generations: Wolverine & All-New Wolverine #1 continues that trend. Yeah, it has a steep pricepoint, but if you dig either Wolverine, you really do owe it to yourself to pick this up and enjoy a comic book that was created simply for readers' joy. Read Full Review

More than anything else, Generations: Wolverine and All-New Wolverine #1 establishes that the legacy of Wolverine isn't just measured by mountains of dead ninjas. It's part of a legacy. Logan establishes that legacy. Laura carries it on. Being Wolverine is basically a family affair, albeit with a lot more stabbing and ninja attacks, and it's a family that Wolverine fans of every generation can root for. Read Full Review

Tom Taylor wrote one of the best Wolverine team up for Marvels Generations Line-Up, despite some minor inconsistencies. Youll definitely enjoy the fast paced, action packed team-up between Logan & Laura. The bonus is that he was still able to deliver heartwarming father and daughter moments in the story. Add in the art by Rosanas & color from Woodard, the book delivers a visually stunning and satisfying story. Read Full Review

This is a very solid read. It has action, blood, and heart. People are butchered, reunions are had, and they show themselves to be the best there is at what they do, even if its not pretty at all. Grab this one. You wont regret it. Read Full Review

It's clear by now that each Generations one-shot is going to follow a very specific formula, which could start to work against the series as that formula grows more and more played out. But it's one that works well in this Wolverine crossover. This issue makes the most of the Wolverine/X-23 dynamic and celebrates the legacy of a fallen X-Man. Read Full Review

I could have done without the mushy stuff at the end. Part of me wants Marvel to let Wolverine be Wolverine. That would be the stone cold killer of the early new X-Men of the mid-1970s, and not the Logan softened from being part of the X-Men family and by the tragedy of Jean Grey/The Phoenix. That said, I like this action-packed, violent fight comic and its surprising guest appearance. Read Full Review
