The War of the Realms has come to Midgard...and Westchester! Malekith's forces are invading Earth, and the heroes of Earth are joining with the heroes of Asgard to fight them back! Who better to lead the X-Men into that war than their very own Valkyrie, Dani Moonstar?
LEGACY #635

I am really loving how this event is not leaving any body, or team, out of the war. Read Full Review
I had fun with this tie-in that focuses mainly on the teamwork and fighting ability of the X-Men. Cyclops doesn't quite have a maestro's leash on his team, but considering the lack of planning it's entertaining to see how they keep their heads above water. Read Full Review
The War of the Realms takes a fluctuating team of X-Men by surprise in this initial issue. The mutants bear up heroically under the strain, of course, and their fast-paced combat is visually impressive. The calculated removal of Dani Moonstar from the equation, though temporary, steals too much clarity and perhaps renders this issue more distant than its creators intended. Read Full Review
Pere Perez provides some great art throughout the issue especially in the action scenes. Read Full Review
The isn't going to make or break your War of the Realms experience, but X-Men fans will still find enough here to enjoy it. Read Full Review
The action beats generally work and the pacing is breakneck. But your mileage may vary in terms of how much you actually care about the larger event. Read Full Review
Whether you decide to pick this up should be determined by how you feel about the regular run of Uncanny X-Men going on right now. This is more of a side story to that book than a tie-in to the War of the Realms in my opinion. It looks really good, but I just wonder why we needed an extra tie-in when this could have been dealt with in the main title. Read Full Review
"War of the Realms: Uncanny X-Men" continues for two more issues. Aside from the hope that the series continues to explore Dani Moonstar's inner journey as both a mutant and Valkyrie, not much helps this book stand apart among other strong X-titles on the market. All in all, it's a completely skippable tie-in between release weeks of the flagship title. Read Full Review
With so many titles on the shelves it is really difficult for me to see past this issue's flaws. I would definitely have been more interested in this story if it were contained within the main book. Read Full Review
Another good tie-in. This is just as good as the main series, so if you like that, you'll like this.
This is a good tie-in! Good work, tie-in.
There's a lot of X-Men continuity that I'm clearly out of the loop on, especially with the way the issue opens, I have no idea what's going on there, but I think it's good.
