I wish I could score this higher. I liked how this crossover started. I just don't like how it resolved at all.

Its a shame, this JL does nothing for me but JLD has tons of promise. But alas, they're now shoehorning it in with JL proper so I won't be reading it moving forward. If I could split this, JL: 4/10 JLD: 8/10

Nubia's story is nothing to write home about Diana's story is utterly wasted due to its portrayal of Darkseid Nothing worthwhile here

The first Future State comic worth reading as a stand alone. Glad to see Dick Grayson standing on this own after so long, though its a shame everything else has to suffer to make it so.

Supes is actually a decent start up to what could be an interesting piece. Mr Miracle is both horribly written, horribly drawn, and for some reason replaced Scott for no real reason Midnighter is ok at best. Nothing to write home about What is even the point of the Black Racer?

Once again, a character being made into what they aren't for the sake of edge

Actually a positive surprise, this is a solid title with solid art. Probably the best Future State title (not a high bar) but I would recommend this

I like the art, but that's about it. Really a nothing story in the end.

Outsiders story has managed to be strong. The rest, not so much

I'd rate those lower but at least the art is nice. This issue offered nothing to the story, which has barely progressed since it started to begin with. It wants to be deep and thought provoking, but fails at every turn. It even pretty much asserts that Wally has been depressed since he returned, which is a pretty big contradiction for anyone that read his stories. The sooner this is over the better. I'll avoid Tom King like the plague moving forward.

What even is this

Thank God its finally over A bad ending to an infuriating event. This ending isn't going to solve any of the problems this 'story' had, nor is it going to provide a satisfying conclusion to most. Just let this story die.

Killer's reveal aside, I thought the issue was a rather nice send off. Until he pops back in somewhere else anyway. Sets itself up for a continuation, I just hope the series gets it. I rather liked Sideways as a series and hope it has something in the future.

Don't see how this is black label, they even still censor themselves. Lex makes a social media platform and Lobo uses it to cancel Superman. I don't know how you could make a lobo vs superman comic uninteresting, but they seem to be finding a way. Plus something about Seeley's writing of Lobo seems super off. Partially because of the shitty setup of the comic, but also in just his general attitude and dialogue.

Art is on point. The Cale side story is old hat, I've always hated comics that go in that direction. The return of the Olympians is a fun arc, though it does seem at odds with JLD. I guess it must take place before it? Either way, a fun little arc. I don't think this is comparable to the stories that were going on before the writer change but its still enjoyable nonetheless.
