There's not as much high octane action in this particular issue, but Soy's artwork is still very engaging even if most of the characters are just having conversations. Batman And The Outsiders #4 has the dominos all lined up, but Bryan Hill seems to have left the table on a tilt, giving the story a sense of urgency and futility. While this is frustrating, and a bit of a downer, I know that with a writer of his calibre (and Kailber), the rug of doubt could be pulled out from under me in the blink of an eye. Batman & the Outsiders #4 isn't bad, but it's also far from great. There's a lot of potential here between the roster and the plot, but Hill is trying to do too much at once. Es bueno ver la complejidad que Hill le da a cada uno de los integrantes del grupo. Sus luchas internas y dinámicas están maravillosamente definidas. Lo único que falla, teniendo en cuenta esta tendencia, es lo fácil que Sofía parece carecer de personalidad.

This was good. Liked it a lot more than last issue, so I'm hoping that this series can maintain its quality.

Okay so I’m mostly interested in the heroes but like not at all in the girl who needs saving.

"Batman is a général who only sees soldiers. You are a teacher who only sees students."

It was normal at its start, but as that comic book progress, it gets boring. Also, I'm not a fan of the art, too.

No momentum whatsoever. It doesn’t need to be action all the time but there are no impactful moments here or a suitable cliffhanger.
Also Batman says that the Outsiders are not his army or his sidekicks but will micromanage at every opportunity. Black Lightning seems to only be good for giving words of wisdom. He certainly isn’t fighting, struggling or solving any clues.
