A bad ending to an infuriating event.
This ending isn't going to solve any of the problems this 'story' had, nor is it going to provide a satisfying conclusion to most.
Just let this story die.

Finally this piece of crap is over and we can move on with our lives. Forget about it, and its awfulness. Apparently not much changed with this event - Ivy's back and her fan-fic relationship with Harley still exists (sigh...), Wally is alive, well and not insane... Hell, I have a feeling that other than few deaths, nothing happened in Heroes in Crisis. I guess that's a good thing, considering how more

Nihilist - May 29, 2019

Yeah, these 2.5 points are for the arc, and the art only. Gotta say, it looks great. But the story and characterization is awful beyond belief. So much garbage and unresolved plot points. Like Lois Lane's report - where did it lead, exactly? What did it change? Terrible, terrible event.

Another very enjoyable issue.

Just as I expected, this issue was an origin story for Arkham Knight and it was pretty cool. I find it interesting to see someone raised by villains, It makes sense that she hates Batman. I also really enjoyed seeing the more human side of Joker and the others. I think it was a good origin story that made me like Arkham Knight a bit more as a villain.

Now that's what I call a hell of a good origin story. For the most part, because there's few elements of it I don't necesarily enjoy.

It was a great idea to humanize Arkham prisoners. I'm really tired of the "good versus evil" war, with one side not having and flaws and the other not having any redeeming qualities. Let the DCU be more grey where it can be, because the constant pursuit o more

i'm hoping this will be the last we see of the Arkham Knight. the origin is just weak sauce. ....Tomasi has been really good at making villains sympathetic. look at Nobody from his New52 Batman&Robin. that was a villain done right. ..even though Damian did him dirty. but still, hellova compelling story there!

Overall, terrible issue. HiC probably is the worst comic Tom King has ever written: bad dialogue, terrible characterization, slow pace and plot twists that don’t make sense plague the whole narrative. Every Batman and flash scene is atrocious.
The art is good but the styles of the guest artists don’t complement Mann style.

The worst problem is, of course, the revelation of the more

I am lost. I have no idea who the killer really is. The characters are whacked out and comedic. Batgirl is working with Harley who I guess has never had her own story before according to King. Either has Blue Beetle, or any of them according to King.

It feels a bit like Tom King does not like HiC. Like he got bored/tired of it after #2. I don't want to spoil anything here but the dialogue is becoming even more inconsistent and there are huge gaps in characterization. Perhaps this is all an A.I simulation and the inconsistency are the glitches (but probably not since King was asked and this is not the case here).
As for the twist or twists more

I was right there with you until you said King was a good writer. I’ve yet to see any evidence of that. But I agree that this series blows.

RBL - Mar 28, 2019

To be fair, the only improvement I’ve seen in the title was from Issue #1 (1/10) to Issue #2 which was an improvement. That said, anything is an improvement when the bar was set so low. It has remained mediocre since.

This issue offered nothing to the story, which has barely progressed since it started to begin with. It wants to be deep and thought provoking, but fails at every turn.
