The Batman Universe - Jim Remolde Feb 19, 2015

I am happy to see a less insane side of Beth and it is good to see her patrolling the city with her sister. Now that we have the team together lets see where the next issue goes. I am hopeful for a satisfactory ending to this series but I see a lot still needs to be covered. It started slow but the mini battle in the end gave this issue action and we have a cliffhanger that makes me want to see the next issue. Read Full Review

    GAMbIT Magazine - J. Luis Feb 20, 2015

Batwoman #39 feels like the third movie in any superhero film franchise. Let's throw in as many characters as we can, for no other reason than we can and that will automatically make it cool. That premise is not cool and this book isn't cool. Let's hope that it takes a cue from superhero movies and just reboots everything. If you're new to the book and characters, then you might actually find this issue somewhat entertaining. If you asked my advice though, I'd tell you to chance your money on another title. DC Comics News - Kate Kane Feb 19, 2015

Batwoman no runs towards inevitable end of Kate Kane as the last issue looms over this story. Its hard to tell if this nightmare will end as it has been going or if maybe killing Kate off was the only option left. If you are a true Batwoman fan the end is near and its not a positive one. Newsarama - Pierce Lydon Feb 19, 2015

Andreyko has shown flashes of competence during his run, but this book is overstuffed with characters and gaudy soap opera style relationship dynamics that are a total bore. Read Full Review
