"HUNTED" TIE-IN!
• Black Cat's luck is on the rise.
• She came out of the run-in with the Thieves Guild still intact, her bridges with Spider-Man are mostly mended and the world is her oyster (well, it is NOW).
• But the job she just took is going to change everything...

An enjoyable issue that revels in the relationship between Spider-Man and Black Cat. Spencer does a good job establishing how important that relationship was to them. There's also a great bit of detective work done for Black Cat's character. By the end, you'll respect the character even more. Read Full Review
With an event that's been building for quite some time, this first issue is certainly a step in the right direction. Read Full Review

Overall for the start of a mini event within the Amazing Spider-Man title, two issues into this Hunted story-line, the book has lacked anything really for our title character to do. Read Full Review
Once again Nick Spencer writes an incredible Felicia Hardy proving that he NEEDS to write a Black Cat solo book at some point!
I really loved this issue. It was really fun and it had plenty of heart. It's a tie-in that's actually worth reading. Nick Spencer really knows how to play to the Spidey fanatic in me.
I didn’t know much about Black Cat going in, but man, this really made me like her.
Great writing by Spencer. His use of Spidey's villains and orbit characters is excellent. Made this tie-in well worth the money. Coello's art is just splendid to the point that he needs to be a regular artist on ASM. Delgado's use of color was a great match and well done especially in the present/past scenes effects.
A solid rewind story shows exactly how Felicia got to where she is at the end of ASM #16. It looks pretty good and the script is mighty compelling. Blending retrospective "meet character x" details with a highly-relevant take on the story at hand is one of Nick Spencer's best skills. This approach can slow down plot development, but that's no problem in a "fill in the gaps" issue like this.
A very good tie-in to the main book, focusing on Black Cat (who has been quite a significant character in the past few issues now). While it did feel as a tie-in, it was worth the money, which is very often not the case. Artwork was good, much better than Land's artwork on the cover. Writing is what you would expect from the main book, as it's written by Nick Spencer as well, and it really benefits of that.
This was better than it needs to be for a completely optional story.
