• Since his appearance in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, one thing WRAITH has made perfectly clear is that he's hunting KNULL, the God of the Symbiotes.
• Now, in the wastelands on the outskirts of the cosmos, he'll have his chance to face him...

Web of Venom: Wraith drops some hints as to what we can expect for King in Black, the comic that will usher in the arrival of Knull on Earth. This is the appetizer to the main course and there is so much more to dig into. Read Full Review
What makes this fever-dream of a comic work so well is how it blends sci-fi with concepts of pure evil, identity, and loneliness. There are visuals that are batsh*t crazy and dark, like one might see in film noir. Web of Venom: Wraith drips with techno-fetish darkness with a touch of cyber-punk and a loner revenge tale you don't often see in superhero comics. Read Full Review
Wraith returns back to his home world to try and finally get rid of his symbiotic curse! Read Full Review
Honestly, Web of Venom: Wraith #1 is an absolute must-have tie-in for the Venom series. While this is likely to be a one-shot, it added a lot of great depth of detail for the main Venom run. Read Full Review
The cool thing about Web of Venom: Wraith #1 is there is so much to grab on to. Sci-fi, horror, a loner looking for revenge, intriguing mystery. When you package all of these up you get a pretty rad story that is worth the price of admission. Read Full Review
One of the better Web of Venom issues that serves more as a continuation of the titular character Wraith. If you've been following the Knull storylines in Donny Cates' main Venom book, this won't really move the needle on any gauges, but if you're invested in Wraith, you'll get a hefty return. A captivating story that reveals lots of new information about the god of symbiotes and the backstory of Wraith. Read Full Review
Venom fans will want to check out Web of Venom: Wraith #1, if only for the lore. That said, I don’t think they’ll be disappointed with the story they’re getting. It successfully creates a narrative that is desolate and builds tension subtly. At any rate, be sure to give this a read one way or another before King in Black comes out in December. In the meantime there was a lot of money left on the table. Is Wraith Dead? What was his father's relationship with Knull? And what of Wraith's experience of his soul being eaten by parasites and turning into one of the Nameless? What about the guy that killed his parents that he was supposed to be looking for? This is not how I was expecting this to end up, especially from Cates. The art by Guii Villanova was impressive and had plenty of beautiful splash pages. Read Full Review

" Many names for one who is nameless. Many names for a Wraith."
- WRAITH
This was really good. I kind of had it spoiled months ago, unfortunately. But still, it is written well and the art is good (those last two pages aside).
This was surprisingly really good. Way better than expected. Just felt like a good read with some fantastic looking pages.
Another good Web of Venom issue from Cates. A standalone teaser for "King in Black". And it made me even more excited than before. Artwork and writing was great even for someone who isn't so familiar with Kree or Wrath.
This was good, but I’m not familiar with the character and it didn’t make me super sad for him like some other one-shots about dying people do.
It’s good but it’s more of a filler. Sets up king in black but you won’t kiss much if you don’t read this
I was unmoved by the writing or the art, but the character work and plot development were pretty good. Wraith's life for a small (but seemingly important) bit of event foreshadowing feels like a fair swap.
