PARENTAL ADVISORY
Viktor Bogdanovich is pitch perfect with the art in this issue. From the detailed characters to the beautiful compositions, the art in this issue is filled with energy. Bogdanovich perfectly captures the dark, raw energy of the story and brings it forth in this issue. Read Full Review
In Wolverine #5, readers see Wolverine be the best at what he does against a bunch of freakin' vampires! Read Full Review
WOLVERINE #5 certainly had its moments. From a frozen Logan popsicles to Vampire hunting, this comic was definitely fun with Segovias art has a highlight of the issue. Read Full Review
Wolverine #5 is a great little comic. There are a few deficiencies to it, but one of them helps the story move along, and the other isn't Percy's fault. It's still very entertaining, though, and while it isn't as artfully written as some previous issues, it's still quite good. Bogdanovic and Wilson do a great job with the art. Wolverine #5 is a lot of fun. Read Full Review
I enjoyed the concept and idea of Wolverine #5, and the issue itself was an okay read that felt like it was building up to something better. It just felt like the issue itself was rushed and cut off at the legs by having it go into “X of Swords” event coming up. While aslotieing in with the Fortnight comic story. I am though always a sucker for a good Marvel Universe Vampire/Dracula story so I can't really hate it. I do wish we were closer to Halloween! Hopefully the story picks back up around October. Having someone yell "Get off my lawn!" as they plow through a horde of undead is the description that perfectly describes this book in a nutshell, and by the end of it all I couldn't help but get lost in all the craziness, and here's hoping next issue is just as fun. Read Full Review
If you want a fun one-off story of Wolverine fighting vampires, this is definitely for you. It's very "comic books". Unfortunately, it doesn't quite fit in with the rest of the world Jonathan Hickman is building for the X-Men. Read Full Review
It only gets better!
Awesome!
Art 4.5/5
Story 4/5
Although this did feel like a bit of a rushed conclusion, I still liked it. As a matter of fact, that's how the past two stories have felt, in my opinion. The first storyline only lasted three issues and this one was only two, as we have X of Swords coming up next. I think the past five issues would have greatly benefitted from being spread across maybe ten issues or so. Hopefully this series gets more room to breathe after the aforementioned crossover.
I liked this a lot for some reason it reminded me of the Androids in DBZ. I liked the punk rock Vampire kids and all the blood spilled among these pages. Good little issue though I must admit the "a little here a little there" story telling Ben Percy does is getting old.
An amazing issue with a splendid artwork and Wolverine just gets meatier by day.
I liked this one.
Wolverine is back on track, railroading through his vampire problems at express speed and enjoying fun interactions with teenage punk vampires. This one moves fast enough to draw me into the "stupid action movie" fun. It is still mighty stupid. The art is excellent, and its scratchy style fits the pace.
Wolverine is a difficult character to write. This issue, along with the current run, falls flat. Its not a bad comic, but not a run I want to continue to pull.
The story is very good and funny (Wolverine helping some rebel vampire kids) until Hickman comes in and literally steals Wolverine for his 22 issues story-arc "X of Swords".
Pretty straightforward and inconsequential.
This was okay! Felt a little... rushed?
So far this has been a waste of money. You can’t get more routine than this. Of the whole run only issue 5 was decent.
