Absolutely the worst event I’ve read. King knows jack shit about any of the characters and has zero business writing them. Wally killed and mutilated his friends because he was sad. Tried to kill himself after delaying the investigation for 5 days for reasons. Not any that make sense, just reasons. King has no grasp on how time trace works in any other comic book and tries to explain it in the m more

Filler. More filler from King. At this point the entire 62 issue run has more filler than actual relevant content, and I wish that was a joke.
And also, 2 more public domain stories were just used as substitutes for this issue's lack of any story - one about three little pigs, and the other being the myth of Pygmalion and Galatea. Just put the series out of its misery, because there's 38 issu more

Now, while there is one issue left for King to fix this mess of a story up, it doesn't change the fact that this event was a tremendous failure, from start to finish. The peak of this mess (unless King REALLY outdoes himself with issue #9) comes from this issue's complete bastardization of Wally West. Except if this was expressly a place where HEROES could recover and face their issues. Putting villains there would be counterproductive to the very purpose this place was built to fulfill. I understand they would want to help these people rehabilitate, but this is not the way to do this because rather than assist their rehabilitation they can hinder others. The whole angle of confidentiality might make it the least bit viable but not enough to have it make sense or warrant it.

This comic deserves a 5 based only on the art, which is phenomenal. Unfortunately, the story simply doesn't match up.
