Art is on point. The Cale side story is old hat, I've always hated comics that go in that direction. The return of the Olympians is a fun arc, though it does seem at odds with JLD. I guess it must take place before it? Either way, a fun little arc. I don't think this is comparable to the stories that were going on before the writer change but its still enjoyable nonetheless.

Supes is actually a decent start up to what could be an interesting piece. Mr Miracle is both horribly written, horribly drawn, and for some reason replaced Scott for no real reason Midnighter is ok at best. Nothing to write home about What is even the point of the Black Racer?

I'd rate those lower but at least the art is nice. This issue offered nothing to the story, which has barely progressed since it started to begin with. It wants to be deep and thought provoking, but fails at every turn. It even pretty much asserts that Wally has been depressed since he returned, which is a pretty big contradiction for anyone that read his stories. The sooner this is over the better. I'll avoid Tom King like the plague moving forward.

Don't see how this is black label, they even still censor themselves. Lex makes a social media platform and Lobo uses it to cancel Superman. I don't know how you could make a lobo vs superman comic uninteresting, but they seem to be finding a way. Plus something about Seeley's writing of Lobo seems super off. Partially because of the shitty setup of the comic, but also in just his general attitude and dialogue.
