It was great seeing a team up between the Outlaws and Nightwing! He definitely came in clutch even though he was sort of apprehensive of working with the team. The stakes werent super high against a villain like KGBeast, but it was still an entertaining read. I generally prefer Dexter Soys art style, Tyler Kirkham is identical so its still pretty awesome. I really loved this issue, but in the back of my head, I was just thinking Hows Bizarro? Whats going to happen with Bizarro? from the last issue, since this technically isnt #14. Read Full Review
In a fun, simple story, we get reminded of the character's relationships to one another, particularly that of Jason and Dick. I loved the simple conversation scenes, which provided some of the best character moments of the series yet. Read Full Review
Great annual! I'd recommend to pickup this issue if you're a collector and a fan of Lobdell. It's a wholesome issue, a good break with all the disasters going on in the edgy DC Multiverse. Artemis and Bizarro are solid! She's witty and charming, and so is Bizarro. It's filled with good chuckles. The bat-boys could always use some peace and happiness. Nice work, Rebirth! If you are a fan of Nightwing or Jason Todd, this is really a great book to pick up, as it is not a part of any other story-line, its not a tie in to some greater story, it is a story about brothers coming together to face a threat and thats always nice to see. Recommended. Read Full Review
While the wrap up of this Annual took away from what I was really enjoying about the book, the majority of everything we got here is why I love this series so much. Scotty Lobdell shows that he knows these characters and cares about them a great deal with the time he spent to make sure that we saw the love in their hearts and the quips in their mouths and to add to all of that, Tyler Kirkham did a hell of a job portraying it all. Kudos to Lobdell, Kirkham, Prianto, and Esposito for knocking this one out of the park. It's got action, heart, and laughs in spades"a perfect bonus story while we wait for the next regular issue. Red Hood and the Outlaws Annual #1 is a fun break from it's normal story. I like that it does have a specific time frame that this story takes place in. With it's great character moments, fun action and wonderful art, it's pretty easy to recommend this annual. Read Full Review
The comic features some nice scenes between Jason and Dick, and both Dick and Jason struggling to explain their troubled history to Artemis. And, in a touching subplot, the annual also gives Bizarro a romantic moment all his own. Worth a look. Read Full Review
Is this a must-read? No, but for fans of Nightwing and Red Hood & the Outlaws this was an enjoyable and well paced read. Read Full Review
TylerKirkhams artwork is a bit sketchier here than I recall. Believe me, it getsthe job done with style and panache, but if youre a fan of heavy black inks, youre doomed to disappointment. Its all done (seemingly) with pencils andcolors, and thats not a bad thing. Sometimes, it works very effectively, as itdoes here. My only concern is that sometimes, readers regard it as a rush job, which is unfair. Read Full Review
One thing that has always stood out with Red Hood and the Outlaws is the artist holding the pencil. Tyler Kirkham is great at depicting action sequences... like Jim Lee level good. I mean just look at the panel above... Mmmwhah! Beautiful! Read Full Review
This was an alright read. Annuals, in my opinion, are hit-or-miss. This felt more silly/fun than a serious story. But that's okay. Read Full Review

Overall, the story itself had some exciting action moments with a few noteworthy, ‘quiet” moments surrounding Jason and Dick's relationship. However, the annual did have some gaping plot holes with a few too many forced plot points. Obviously, this less-than-stellar annual does not take away my excitement for next month where we pick with an eloquent, reborn Bizarro. Read Full Review
Outlaws and Nightwing fans will have a good time with this one, but it might not be the best book for the uninitiated. Read Full Review

Solid story but not the most necessary. Good character work as usual.
I was pretty disappointed. The story was a little foggy. I like the interaction between Bizarro & Angelique, Dick & Artemis, Jason & Dick. But I don't like the bad guy. The cover is not great too. I would have preferred seen the four of them in circus costumes.
