Super Sons has been one of the many bright spots of the Rebirth line and the fact that is ending is unfortunate. This issue is packed with just as much emotion, humor and action as the rest of the series. It's a shame this book is ending because I finally got the issue I've been waiting for.  Great art, a fast paced and action packed story, but best of all, Peter Tomasi showing all the naysayers why Damian is such a lovable character and also why him and Jon make a great team.  No short jokes, nothing about whose dad is better...just the Super Sons being super!  Even thoght this series is ending, pick this one up! It's an honest shame that we don't get to spend more time with Lois and Talia. While the series has made it very clear the traits that the Super Sons inherit from the Super Fathers, this issue scratches at the surface of what they inherited from their Super Mothers. Sometimes you read Super Sons because it is light-hearted fun from two young heroes who come from two very different worlds, but you truly stay because these two somehow manage to remind you of what it means to be a superhero and a friend. With an attractive visual aesthetic and whip-smart writing, this issue of Super Sons is a flat-out good time. It may not be overly ambitious or have world-shaking consequences, but it's another example of Robin and Superboy growing as individual characters and as friends and partners. Overall Super Sons #14 is a solid fun comic book. It has its minor problems and it does not do anything Earth-shattering or world-changing, but it is still a good solid read. And sometimes that is what you need a good solid book. That's what makes this series being canceled such a bummer; you could guaranteea solid read when you picked it up. There was some real tension in this issue and (SPOILERS) it ended with a serene moment that epitomizes the Super Sons run. After a few issues that had a little bit of a different tone, it tied everything back in. I continue to unfairly compare everything to Jimenez, so this art merely registered as serviceable.

Adventures of Superboy and Robin are always fun to folllow - they're heartwarming and utilize the chemistry between two main characters to the absolute maximum. This issue is no different - it feels great, combining action and traditional "superheroing" with daily life of two adolescent outcasts of sort. I've got great time reading it - just like most of previous issues from the run.

Welcome to the Oblivion Bar where the first round is on me and the pretzels are free! Be warned: like the pickled eggs at the bar, this issue is going to get SPOILED rotten.

So, is it in continuity or not? If you can overlook continuity for story and realize that Talia, who looks 26, isn’t trapped in that city jail still in Batman comics, then this was just another fun story arc this week.

If you can’t overlook continuity and think all books should be intertwined, then not only will you hate this book BUT you probably hate everything in comics because very view stick to all continuity issues within all stories.

It’s was... Period. Damian will never get out of the leagues shadow. He’ll never live down what he was trained to do. This just shows him trying to change and I love how he is written in this comic more than Teen Titans.

They save Lois, who also looks 26, and Talia goes away. My problem with the book as a whole is: who is the audience? Is it kids? Adults? I ask because I feel that jumps around from issue to issues. And that’s important to me. Having little ones, I would love a book like this to read with them BUT then the next issue may be graphic with Kid Amazo. So which one is it?
