"MOTHER'S DAY" part two! Talia al Ghul is back in Damian's life, for better and for worse! As the world's deadliest mom forces Robin to make the ultimate choice between his past and future, Superboy finds himself caught in the middle. But the specter of Damian's murderous past life has shaken the bond between the Super Sons, and the body count is far from final.
Super Sons under writer Peter J. Tomasi has been one of the most consistently entertaining series of DC's Rebirth era, and while it is perhaps not a "great" series, few superhero books have been more fun in recent memory. Read Full Review
Super Sons is one of the best titles to come out of Rebirth. Hopefully DC will be wise enough to keep this duo active, preferably under Tomasi's stewardship. Read Full Review
This book is such a great and entertaining title. I love these two and their hijinks. So, of course, DC has to cancel the book. Read Full Review
A consistently great book with great characters, fun dialogue and amazing art. Read Full Review
The mothers come off well also. Lois Lanes role is nothing out of the ordinary, but Talia gets some interesting development. Read Full Review
Super Sons has been one of the many bright spots of the Rebirth line and the fact that is ending is unfortunate. This issue is packed with just as much emotion, humor and action as the rest of the series. If DC were smart, they use Super Sons as the basis for a new cartoon. If you havent given this series a read, now its a good time knowing it is a finite number to it and if it ever comes back, you will know what to expect! Super-Sons has continued to impress issue after issue with fun characters and great stories. The villains have been a mix of simple and complex with this two-issue story being a pretty down to earth one. Read Full Review
Overall, this is a fun issue with well-executed action, excellent pacing, and great characters. Peter Tomasi really understands the Super Sons and this a joy to read. 4.5 out of 5 stars. Read Full Review
This was a definite thumbs up for Super Sons #14. First-class writing and out-of-this-world artwork. A definite recommendation. Read Full Review
It's a shame this book is ending because I finally got the issue I've been waiting for. Great art, a fast paced and action packed story, but best of all, Peter Tomasi showing all the naysayers why Damian is such a lovable character and also why him and Jon make a great team. No short jokes, nothing about whose dad is better...just the Super Sons being super! Even thoght this series is ending, pick this one up! Read Full Review
This was a fantastic issue that suddenly hit me with remorse that the series is ending soon. It's a bummer, but things change in order to stay fresh. The art was incredible and the story was fun and light. Anybody can just jump in and pick this issue up. Read Full Review
This was another fun installment of what's been one of DC's most entertaining books. If you're in the mood for a quick laugh or just want to smile while reading a comic, this is definitely one worth grabbing this week. Read Full Review
I highly recommend this book to readers. Read Full Review
It's an honest shame that we don't get to spend more time with Lois and Talia. While the series has made it very clear the traits that the Super Sons inherit from the Super Fathers, this issue scratches at the surface of what they inherited from their Super Mothers. It's a fantastic story, it just runs a little short. Read Full Review
Sometimes you read Super Sons because it is light-hearted fun from two young heroes who come from two very different worlds, but you truly stay because these two somehow manage to remind you of what it means to be a superhero and a friend. Super Sons #14 was a means to cement the bond between Damian and Jon, and they nailed it. Great character development, exciting action, it was the full package. Read Full Review

With an attractive visual aesthetic and whip-smart writing, this issue of Super Sons is a flat-out good time. It may not be overly ambitious or have world-shaking consequences, but it's another example of Robin and Superboy growing as individual characters and as friends and partners. This may not be the biggest book in DC's stable, but it may very well have the most heart. Simply put, Super Sons is a joy to read. Read Full Review
A little too much of this issue is devoted to fighting random ninjas, and the plot feels a bit stretched out, but overall this arc has had one big strength " Damian and Jon feel like friends again. Read Full Review
While still consistently entertaining and well-drawn, the latest issue of Super Sons is one of the weakest of the series thanks to a plot about the boys' mothers that doesn't live up to its potential. Read Full Review
Overall Super Sons #14 is a solid fun comic book. It has its minor problems and it does not do anything Earth-shattering or world-changing, but it is still a good solid read. And sometimes that is what you need a good solid book. That's what makes this series being canceled such a bummer; you could guaranteea solid read when you picked it up. Well, you still have this issueand two more issues to enjoy before it is over, so enjoy it while you can, and soak it in! Read Full Review
Overall, the art was good and despite being a shorter story that wasn't too complex, if offers character development and moments of humor. Read Full Review
Another fun issue in this awesome series. I'm definitely going to miss it when its over
There was some real tension in this issue and (SPOILERS) it ended with a serene moment that epitomizes the Super Sons run. After a few issues that had a little bit of a different tone, it tied everything back in. I continue to unfairly compare everything to Jimenez, so this art merely registered as serviceable.
Adventures of Superboy and Robin are always fun to folllow - they're heartwarming and utilize the chemistry between two main characters to the absolute maximum. This issue is no different - it feels great, combining action and traditional "superheroing" with daily life of two adolescent outcasts of sort. I've got great time reading it - just like most of previous issues from the run.
Welcome to the Oblivion Bar where the first round is on me and the pretzels are free! Be warned: like the pickled eggs at the bar, this issue is going to get SPOILED rotten.
So, is it in continuity or not? If you can overlook continuity for story and realize that Talia, who looks 26, isn’t trapped in that city jail still in Batman comics, then this was just another fun story arc this week.
If you can’t overlook continuity and think all books should be intertwined, then not only will you hate this book BUT you probably hate everything in comics because very view stick to all continuity issues within all stories.
It’s was... Period. Damian will never get out of the leagues shadow. He’ll never live do more
