This is a good issue. The script by Johns is very well done. The art by Gary Frank is top notch as always. I am loving this comic book. I think it has a lot going for it and it never fails to entertain. Read Full Review
Frank seems to be enjoying creative the unique looks for the characters in the various casinos and Vegas outskirts. The character designs are impressive. Read Full Review
It's a very quick read issue, but sometimes issues that you don't have to overanalyse are the best mid-series are the best. This issue jumps the plot nicely to set up a clash with various factions and characters over the next few issues. There have been challenges of this being derivative but I think rather it's taken an old trope in a new direction. Read Full Review
When the action starts, the comic looks pretty good especially when Geiger is fighting with his powers. Again, Gary Frank and Brad Anderson continue to make Geiger's powers look visually cool when they're in use. The sequences themselves are nothing too crazy but they're still fun to see. By the end, it feels like the comic is actually moving the overall plot forward as Geiger and the others make progress in their quest. Read Full Review
Geoff Johns & Gary Frank's post-apocalyptic tale does its best impression of George Miller's Mad Max this time around, and though it's probably the best issue of the series so far it's still entirely derivative of what came before it. Read Full Review
Geiger #4 is a good comic with fantastic art. Maybe I'm just picky, or spoiled, but I'm finding myself wanting more. The book's still on my pull list, but so far this isn't a series that I think will also warrant me picking up the collected edition of. Read Full Review
The story still feels very weak and derivative. There's something compelling about the overall sense of drama and the contrast between a couple of kids and the grizzled warrior defending them. With the contrast between the king and the hero, Geiger could develop into something powerful, but it's still only establishing the rhythm of the story and the flow of traffic between drama and action. Issue 4 of GEIGER was a lot better then last issue. More action this time around which I like since I want to see the Glowing Man do some more badass stuff. Still, the issue seems a little lack luster in terms of content. However, the art makes up for it, and the panels are fantastic. I still enjoy reading this series and can't wait to see what next issue has in store.
Really cool issue, threads in the middle, carrying the wait of worldbuilding (mainly on the Organ People) while moving the story forward. The addition of new backstory is always welcomed, not gonna lie, the boron rods in the suit were a very nice touch of trying to explain the godamn suit xD
an exciting delivery, not as much as the previous ones.
