Totally agree about Creel, I first thought the finale is next issue, but yeah it was this issue. Feels wrong.
Selina's forced into a seriously sinister Sopranos-style sit-down! While the cops continue to hunt her for a murder she didn't commit, Catwoman's forced to take a meeting with secretive crime boss Mrs. Creel. Here's the pitch: work for us or die! Selina counters with some blackmail of her own, but the offer fails to blow away Creel and her meta-crew. That leads to a breakneck chase that drives Catwoman right into the crosshairs of the local authorities.
While Jones's artwork doesn't disappoint and the plot device of a dead child makes for a recurring arch-villain, her sequential art is at times hard to follow along. I'm sad to say that the conclusion of Copycats is the weakest of her first arc on this book. What was billed as a big battle became something on the level of a domestic dispute. Still, her art and writing has convinced me to stick with the book because big plans are on the horizon. Read Full Review
Jolle Jones delivers a great action-packed story in CATWOMAN #6. Jones and the colorist Laura Allred continue to prove they're a dynamic duo in art. Overall, CATWOMAN #6 delivers an interesting and involved story that leaves the reader ready for CATWOMAN #7. Read Full Review
A fantastic action-packed end to the first arc, this book is firing on all cylinders with beautiful art, and a true understanding of who Selina Kyle is. Read Full Review
My rating for this issue cant helpbut beinfluenced by what I think has been asuccessfulstory. I am liking this run of Catwoman so far and look forward to what is coming. Joelle Jones first Catwoman arc comes to a satisfying conclusion as Selina shows her claws as well as her heart. Read Full Review

Even if the narrative doesn't always pack a huge punch, the final few pages, and Jones' stunning art throughout, absolutely leave you wanting more. Read Full Review
The ending is satisfying. At the very least we feel that Selina has truly grown. The threats from within the storyline have been resolved enough not to bug us, but left open enough to potentially cause Selina trouble later. Just as when the series started, Catwoman is a free spirit once again, and anything could happen in the capable creative hands of Jones and Allred. Read Full Review
This first arc spent a little too much time wallowing in the twisted evil of its villain, but I'm excited to see where it goes next. Read Full Review
The story is the biggest problem again. It just seems a bit light. The rest of the elements here work well except for that. Maybe we can get a stronger writer on this. I feel like the series would vastly improve if we had one, giving us higher stakes than what is displayed here. Read Full Review
With Catwoman, Jolle Jones got her first major shot with DC to show what she can do as both an artist and writer. As this first arc concludes it may not be up to par with her independent work, however, she is bringing a style unlike another else in major comics right now. With her stepping away from art duties for the next run there is no question the book will suffer on a pure aesthetic front. Hopefully, though it will allow her to grow as a writer because if the scripts on this series strengthen it can enter into the top echelon of today's current books. Read Full Review
The opening storyline in Catwoman ends with more of a whimper than a bang, but it's good enough that I hope it's building to something bigger and better. Read Full Review
Besides the usual great art, there isn't much here to recommend. Characters that haven't been around much or developed are showcased, but it's more confusing than it should be. I hope the next issue rebounds from this poor end to this first arc. Read Full Review
This arc started very strong, but ended up being not as interesting. While this issue was one of the better ones, I really hope the series can improve. Giving an 8 for the art, 6 for the story.
8 only cause I love the art. However, weak AF ending to this arc, like a 6.
This was an alright arc. It was basically Lady Killer 3 but toned down and it would have been the worst of the trilogy.
"Fancy a fight?"
Joelle Jones finishes her first arc on Catwoman and even though it was a slow arc, incredibly slow at times, it was an enjoyable story. But...
This issue has some nice action in it and it looks amazing, like everything Joelle Jones draws, but the ending feels really abrupt and doesn't really conclude the story. At least not in any satisfying way.
Nice story overall, but sadly with a sense of disappointment.
While the art was great, the dialogue wasn't a fan of. This was a better one of the issues in the story arc especially with the action. At least the story arc is over and a new one is on its horizon.
This issue was ok, but also very slow. Selina’s confrontation with Mrs. Creel& also what follows feels a little rushed& anticlimactic. Since that’s the finale of the story I am asking myself about Mrs. Creel, if that was already it. The way the plot was built up I expected more of this „villain“. But maybe this story proves yet again, that villains like Penguin ( who we will see in future Catwoman comics) are the better choice for comics, since they can live up to the expectations. I liked the one short scene with Selina’s sister, but we also don’t know, if Selina is really serious here. The art however is good as always, but this issue feels more like a filler to me. I hope we are seeing more of Batman’s villains in future ismore
After a painfully slow arc, this extremely rushed ending is almost a disservice to Catwoman. The series offers nothing new for the character and doesn't do much in terms of development. I would have at least liked to see Selina trying to come to terms with the split from Batman although this doesn't seem to get much of a mention after the first couple of issues.
Its especially disappointing when one of the better elements of the series seems to fall short. The development of Raina Creel was a high point of the series, and while there's room in further issues for a return, the lack of thought and cunning on Raina's part is disappointing. Especially when she's been set up and as an extremely intelligent and manipulative woman. more
For a painfully slow arc, this last issue was painfully rushed. I think Joelle Jones tried to do too much with this opening arc and the ending was underwhelming because it had no time to breathe or really be built up to.
I love the art in this, but everything about it just feels really rushed and I can’t tell all the random dudes apart.
BE WARY TRAVELER…. SPOILERS AHEAD!
THE GOOD:
-Joelle Jones always has great art. It's the most reliable thing about this series.
-Catwoman is pretty well characterized. This series definitely gets her character, at least.
-I really liked those silhouetted fight scenes. They were new and unique.
-I'm glad to see Maggie in it again. She's a great character.
THE BAD:
-Raina Creel was a great villain, its a shame her defeat was so cliche and undeserving. I hope to see more of her.
-There was some really confusing paneling towards the end there, during the scene where Raina shoots her son.
-This story arc really went out with a whimper rath more
Joelle Jones should stick to drawing. This story finished off lame and dumb.
