Not a bad mini. It had some interesting moments. The fuss over the appearance of Punchline in issue 3 was way over hyped. Bring on Death Metal. 🤘🏻

Please schedule this title back to a monthly and have Jimenez as the regular artist. Fuck! The hype over Punchline has gotten everybody batshit crazy. Wednesday and shops are sold out already. Thankfully I have this in my pull but Jesus people, you think you never read a Batman comic before... And Tynion might be the world’s biggest asshole if the twist at the end is true. This will invalidate Selina and Bruce’s relationship which was a big keystone of King’s run.

The King is back. I was afraid Strange was going to be a Vision or Mister Miracle 2.0 but this is new narrative territory. Gerads and Shaner’s art mesh together perfectly.

One of the best DC books right now.

Great series so far.

Thanks DC for cutting this ‘season’ down to 8 issues... This series is one of the few good things you’re putting out right now. 5G better be worth it. 😕

4 out of 5 Xemnus ☄️☄️☄️☄️

Damn you Cates. You got me hooked when when I thought I was done with an Aaron run, again... Please don’t pull a Strange and bail early on this one as well. 🍻

Well crafted Raven issue.

Wow... I wasn’t impressed with the first ish and waited for a sale before picking up the rest. Fallen Angels was definitely the runt of Dawn Of X litter. I’m gobsmacked. Hill is a good writer. What happened? The art was inconsistent. Is this typical of Kudranski? Something didn’t click here.

I’m enjoying Hickman’s episodic story telling here. It’s refreshing to read some simple one and done stories. Not everything needs to be heroes averting a universe ending disaster twelve issue arc.

The art was good... 🤡

The perfect penultimate issue.

Art and colours are jaw dropping. Beautiful comic.

I was hoping to read just the main title but it looks like I'll have to read all the other fucking X books or miss out on important story beats.

The first half of the issue is interesting, unfortunately it takes a turn for the worst when the Americans show up, kinda Mad Maxish, but their vehicles are propelled by fantasy creatures. It totally took me out of the story. I think I'm going to pass on this series.

I'll be damned, King is going to land this thing. Sad to see his run coming to an end. Aside from the breaking of the Bat, which was a bit of a narrative mess, it's been a hell of a ride.

Another fantastic issue. Romita's art is hit or miss with me but the past two issues are masterful, kudos sir! King is moving the story forward while filling us in on the details of recent events. It all makes sense and has me engaged for what comes next.

Good start to the series.

Beautiful issue, both art and writing.

Once again Golden Gail steals the show.

Do you read this listening to Pink Floyd or Radiohead?

'Nuff said!

This series isn't for everyone but damn I love it.

Since the first issue of this run the art has been the best thing going in comics. Snyder and Tynion's writing is pretty damn good too. 🍻

The antagonist monologue issue!

Cool concept for this anthology. This is a comic you leave on your coffee table and consume at a leisurely pace. Some of the one pagers that caught my eye on first glance- Zdarsky's Iron Man was whip smart, Alex Ross's Hulk made me chuckle and Mr. Slott channels Peter Parker. Saving the Allred page for the next browse!

Does the end of this issue tie into the beginning of issue 1 when Prof X greeted the newly 'hatched' mutants on Krakoa?

Did what I think just happened?

Great read so far. As usual, LOVE Golden Gail! Silly hero, you can't use profanity in the DCU.

Snyder and Capullo got me back into comics with their New 52 Batman run. I'll pick up what ever they put out without hesitation but I cannot get into this series.

I love how this comic is a mashup of the superhero genre with highbrow sci-fi (Asimov's Foundation series).

It took half a year but King's run is finally back on track.

Xcellent comic!

Constantine and Swamp Thing were done well. I'll have to read all 3 issues again.

This ain't no Batman year one. What's the point of this series?

Well played, Mr. Aaron and Mr. Dauterman, well played indeed.

Good issue- the twist at the end piqued my interest. Is Bruce's mother or Flashpoint Thomas Wayne's beloved in the box? Still can't explain what happened between Knightmares and this. Will #71 ever be explained?

The art in this run is a joy to behold. Story wise, there's a lot to like but the ongoing throw downs with Rogol Zaar which always end abruptly are becoming a running gag. Jor-El's existence in the story line is being retconned, no longer caused by Dr. Manhatten. The course correction from Rebirth/Doomsday Clock is bumming me out.

Sweet Jesus on a pogo stick...

Silver Surfer a la Yellow Submarine sans les Blue Meanies. Tres cool!

The comic for your inner Cronenberg.

Good issue but the events of #71 are still a puzzle. I'm giving King the benefit of the doubt to see if he can land this. I've really enjoyed his run until the Knightmares arc. Everything since feels like a disjointed mess. It's royally cheesing me off!

Tom Taylor, you bastard! Bravo sir.

Another brilliant issue. Like it's predecessors I had to read it twice to comprehend Morrison's story and then take a third spin to fully appreciate Sharp's art. This is how you make comics.

Welcome back Mr. Capullo!

There's a panel paying homage to the cover of new 52 Action #5. Damn, that put a smile on my face. Doomsday Clock gets wonderfly meta this issue.

Mann's art is beyond fantastic and King writes some great character moments but overall I'm on the fence with this series. It's not that I don't like it; I'll have to let this story digest in my mind and revisit it in the future.

King can write a good story but his run on Batman the past several months has been infuriating. Just when you thought the narrative was going to move forward this issue takes us two steps back and we're still stuck in the weeds.

This issue's comeuppance for the baddie is cathartic even though it's not as shocking as what we've seen Hulkie dish out to other foes so far in this series.
