This chapter doesnt shake things up too much, but if youve been enjoying Ewings run on this book so far, you wont be disappointed. Xemnu is a great fit in the horror-themed story, but McGowans flashbacks are equally compelling, and much needed development for one of the newest characters. For better or worse, the game changed for the Hulk by the end of this chapter. If you thought that this was ever going to be a war that could be won through brute force alone, then the team-up of the Minotaur and The Living Hulk say otherwise with the conclusion of Immortal Hulk #31. Immortal Hulk is starting to get creepy again, and that's perfect!

Really liked the criminal perspective in McGowan's flashback.

I didn't know anything about Xemnu before this series but I'm very excited for him and The Minotaur in future issues.

Xemnu is my favourite superhero since his time with Avengers and old Spider-Man team-ups

Dr. McGowan gets a major slice of backstory; appropriate, as she's also responsible for booting the main plot forward (She recognizes Savage Hulk is in trouble in Vegas and beams him out before Xemnu can finish flipping the script on him). Both parts of the story get excellent art and despite their disparate styles, they harmonize very well. Al Ewing works similar magic with the plotting, jumping nimbly between the ongoing plotlines and tying them all together. This is an absolute delight to read -- while also being wonderfully creepy.

Whoa, Xemnu! I used to watch him when I was a kid I think...

It's fantastic even more so than usual. Ewing, more than 30 issues in, still finds ways to get me emotional about shady characters I shouldn't care about. I mean Dr. McGown's past sequence intro was perfect and the ending just the same. Matched with great clean art by Javier Rodriguez. I'm still thinking about GlowBoy...damn!
Xemnu on the other hand was just as interesting and I love Ewing's dialogue for him. What more to say about Bennet, Jose and Mounts....flexing their art muscles as always!
Sometimes we read awesome things illustrated by even better artists and we take them for granted because they become the new normal....well enjoy this run because it's special!

Nice to see my childhood hero, Xemnu, back. I too remember watching him on the TV and reading comics about the adventures of the Incredible Hulk.

I am so lost yet so amazed at the same time. McGowan is a great character

I personally wasn't getting a bit lost in all the goodness but it's all making sense to me now! Idk if it's Xemnus mind control but this is one of the best issues in a long time

In my review for the last issue, I wrote that I feel staleness creeping into the series. I take that back.

I have no idea who or what Xemnu is, but this issue was awesome. It blew my socks off. My interest in this book has been brought back to 100%.

I won't write anything else, because I don't want to put any spoilers in, even if by accident. Just read the issue. It is one of the best in the run.

Had some great art as usual but with a nice plot about the original hulk and I'm excited to see how they work this story considering the last few pages
