Another incredible issue in an outstanding run. Cates consistently increases the tension, and here he shows us there can be consequences in comics. Bagley’s art makes the island feel real, and Martins colors make the most of the great art. Everyone needs to be reading Venom Island. Read Full Review
Cates and Bagley continue to perfectly capture every single detail that makes every single panel believably real and tell a story that continues to be one of the best on the shelves. Just when you think you have an idea of what direction Cates is going in, you turn the page and find yourself in a state of shock and surprise. Read Full Review
Bagley's art is really good here, as usual. I'm in love with the way he draws Symbiotes, Carnage in particular. Read Full Review
Ultimately, another fun and frantic entry for Cates and company. Read Full Review
Venom Island's latest issue ends with a big shocker of an ending, suggesting that things might be winding down, but with two more issues left, don't lower your guard; something's up Donny Cates's sleeves. This story hasn't yet been able to reach the same highs as the Absolute Carnage event it follows, but I've been enjoying this arc a little more with each issue. Read Full Review
Hell yes! Eddie's island hell continues. Drawn beautifully! And Dylan what a twist! He really does take after his father so many well written characters and moments, Eddie finally feels part of the whole Marvel Universe. And Caps always been my boy but....Fuck you Cap! That end was tragic.
yet another fantastic issue!! I need the next one now lol
Wow man this is crazy . I love this issue.
I just wish this series was more frequent. It's really great.
Prelude:
Venom Island has been a blast so far. Let's see if Cates and Bagley can keep up the momentum.
The Good:
Love watching Eddie suffer and show his resilience.
Dylan is really interesting in this issue.
Cool cliffhanger.
Bagley's art is great.
The Bad:
Nothing.
Conclusion:
It's a simple issue but it works wonders. Really interesting and leaves me wanting more.
Another great issue. Damn Bagleys art is just so good. And combined with Cates' writing, the magic of Venom just continues.
oh nooooo.

Great, as per usual. My biggest complaint is that these issues aren't coming out soon enough. That isn't just me being cute. I genuinely feel that getting full enjoyment of this arc because I have to wait a month for the next few pages. I know that's how monthly titles work and normally I can deal with it. The problem is that this arc feels very cinematic; I feel like I'm watching a very well done symbiote-fused Predator movie. But I can only see 15 minutes at a time and I keep having to pause it for weeks. It can make make my interest diminish a bit. So basically my only complaint is that it is too good to be a comic book.
Its painful waiting for new issues of this series, it's just so good.
Eddie gets off Venom Island alive, but the cost is high. My enjoyment of the arc takes an upswing here at the end; I like the gritty developments and all the future trouble they set up. Some particularly nice art here, too.
End of arc... now it gets interesting
Venom island is a cool idea and I really like the plots he cates has building. Interested to see what happens next.
