Agreed. I really hated Darkseid War, but glad I gave Johns a second chance, because Doomsday Clock is awesome so far
Pure silver age extravaganza! I continue to love this book!
Hal Jordan's final initiation test to join the Blackstars? Kill Adam Strange! In this issue, Controller Mu and his Blackstar goon squad have invaded and occupied the planet Rann, and its protector is at their mercy! When planet after planet has fallen to the Blackstars-and these monsters are at Rann's gate-does the galaxy have any hope to survive?
What a fucking amazing book! The plot of the sixth-dimention is so good! Theres nods to things that Grant Morrison did before but its so unique at the same time! Amazing art as well!
The Justice League pulls back the curtain on their futures and learns that not everything is what they've seen. The team goes to confront the Justice League of Tomorrow for the truth, but can they handle it? Meanwhile, with his powers waning, Superman struggles to remain hopeful on a world with no sunlight.
That was amazing! Never read any Dial H book before and i love this one! It has a Blue Beetle (2006) and a Shazam vibe, in my opinion. The art is amazing also! Very happy with this book!
Miguel, a teen daredevil, becomes the newest wielder of the Hero Dial-a rotary phone-like device that grants the user superpowers for one hour when they dial H-E-R-O. Will he rise as a new hero in the DC Universe or crumble under the weight of responsibility the dial thrusts upon him? This blistering new six-issue miniseries joins the Wonder Comics...
This book is fast! A lot of things happen, really fast, but its not a bad thing. Although it feels like it has less pages than a normal comic book. Sadly, no art by 'SEN', but still great! NICE last page \m/
"Shazam and the Seven Magiclands"continues as Billy Batson and the other foster kids are lost in the dangerous Wildlands! A realm where animals walk like humans...and where humans live in zoos! When Freddie and Darla are captured and paraded around like oddities, it's up to Billy and the others to rescue them from the greedy Crocodile Men! Plus, th...
A 12 issue maxi-series where Jarro is the Robin? Yes. give me just that!

I like where this is going. I like the story. I like the art. But i was about to jump a LOT of pages while reading this issue. No one would say anything! Naomi kept asking questions and everyone would just say random stuff (maybe not random stuff, but come on, people! Just tell her what she needs to know!)! Thats what it felt like.
A brand-new character in the DC Universe comes into focus as Naomi confronts the one person in her small town she is convinced knows the secret of her mysterious adoption and her obsession with Superman. The truth is going to change both her and the DC Universe forever. The secret of Naomi opens the door to an enormous reveal you will not want to m...
Robert Venditti took one of the most confusing characters in comics and came up with a way to give longtime Hawkfans what they were wanting, and at the same time gave new Hawkman readers a comic that they could enjoy without having to read up on 79 years of Hawkman comics first. Hitch doing some of his most beautiful work ever didn't hurt! A great, promising start to one of DC Comics most iconic cmore

Unfortunately, this book didnt hook me up. I liked the first issue very much. But this one was kind of OK at best. But its not bad!
After being exiled from their homeworld, alien, shape-shifting brother/sister duo Jayna and Zan take on the traditional Earth custom of a high school field trip...to a local LexCorp prison? If they're being honest, their after-school assignment from the Justice League is what they're really looking forward to: taking on vampiric menace Drunkula, a ...
GOD THIS IS TOO GOOD! Giving JLD to Tynion was a great idea! I hope he stick around at DC for many years!
Doctor Fate has assembled his Lords of Order, and it means certain destruction for the Justice League Dark! As Doctor Fate traps the magical community on Earth, the team fights against the Otherkind. The walls are closing in on them, and they'll need to find a way to stop Fate if there's any hope for magic's survival!
DAMN this book is good!!! If Mister Miracle was the new DC classic from last year, this time we have Doomsday Clock! Geoff Johns's writing has been on point since issue #1! The man is a genius and he knows everything about the DC universe! Hes a DC treasure that i wish will take a looong time before retiring.
Also, ive been feeling bummed out with the delays but im glad Gary Frank is having more
The critically acclaimed series by master storytellers Geoff Johns and Gary Frank reaches its most shocking chapter yet when the DC Universe collides with its greatest threat: Dr. Manhattan. But nothing is hidden from Manhattan, and the secrets of the past, present and future will rock the very foundation of the DC Universe.
I mean, Geoff knows how to write a lot of characters. From smaller ones to bigger ones like Hal Jordan and Superman. Every writer struggles with at least one character. Maybe the New Gods are difficult to him. i dont know
Johns Can’t write the villains. He messed up Darkseid& wrote Scarecrow totally out of character in Blackest Night too. He wrote him as the opposite of who he is. Johns mainly canjust write the heroes. And I think he doesn’t change much with Watchmen because it’s such an iconic story. I’m not hyped for the 3 Joker Story.
I feel like everything happening here is important, but it still feels kind of slow... and fast (not in a good way) at the same time. I dont know.
I dont know much about Superboy, so i dont know what happened to him before. Impulse is great.
Not much happens here, but at the same time, a lot of things happen. I just dont know. Still excited for the next issue, though.
Young Justice is back, baby! Bendis and Gleason reunite all your favorites in one place! Robin (Tim Drake-the best Robin) and Amethyst (best Princess of Gemworld!) team with Wonder Girl, Jinny Hex and the new Teen Lantern (not even close to the best Green Lantern) to take back the mysterious Gemworld from the evil forces of dark Opal. Meanwhile, th...
Thats a good comic book! Jokes are on point. Mr. Mxyzptlk (had to use ctrlc+ctrlv here) is great! Jorge Jimenez just renewed his DC contract! Everything is shining! Except for Superman...
This new story arc that starts here seems to be a lot of fun! Im excited!
"The Sixth Dimension" part one! At last, the Justice League has the map to the Sixth Dimension in hand-and with it, they have the key to saving the Multiverse from utter destruction! But things aren't as simple as they seem, because they still need to get to the doorway-and to do that, they'll have to go through the only being in all of existence w...
Tying up loose ends, Emphasizing yet again why Hal Jordan is the most badass Green Lantern from the sector 2814, a nod to Parallax and THAT cliffhanger. Yep. Thats a good book! It sure is different from other super hero comics both the story aspects and the art. And HOT DAMN somebody go check Liam Sharp out because i think his hands are going to fall off! This is a monthly book that is totally on more
"Blackstar at Zenith!" Hal Jordan has abandoned the Green Lantern Corps to join the Blackstars! But to do so, he'll need to convince their leader, Countess Belzebeth, and pass an initiation test. Which means he must survive a series of trials on the vampire planet Vorr, whose entire population wants to feast upon him! It's cosmic goth at its bloodi...
Loved this issue. Dr. Manhattan finally is more in the center of the story& him fighting the league was satisfying to watch. He’s just really cool. I hope DC doesn’t kill him at the end. Can’t find anything negative here. Story& art are great& have to say Johns is doing a pretty great job writing Watchmen characters. It’s definitely been worth the wait, So guess we will get the next one more

A "fun for the whole family!" type of book!
This new Shazam series is great! The art is beautiful, the book is fun. And theres a 2page spread that reminds me of Johns and Eaglesham's Justice Society! So all good here!
"SHAZAM! AND THE SEVEN REALMS" continues! Billy Batson's world is turned upside down by a figure from the past while Mary, Freddy and the rest of the Shazam Family enter a realm of endless amusements, candy factories and friends in the Funlands! But what's the catch? Plus, a shocking development within the Library of Eternity!

I went to look the sales chart for Freddom Fighters number 1 and 2 and they dont look so good. Number 2 only sold about 14 thousand units. Thats a 12 issue series. Im worried. This series is too good to be cancelled! Its fun, well written, well drawn and very exciting!
The Freedom Fighters are launching their biggest offensive ever against the Nazi regime...but the bad guys aren't done for yet. The Hitler dynasty has made its move against the insurgency, and it's in the form of their secret weapon: Hitler the Third. And boy, is this kid a deranged little psycho! If the resistance is to succeed, they'd better move...
Ill start by saying that every single Gnarrk moment was pure gold. I didnt know the character, but he seems amazing. I shouldnt even have to say anything about the art. Its Mitch Gerads! I spent a full minute admiring the Gnarrk lying in a mammoth page. So beautiful!
Now the questions.
Alright. So, Wally is suspicious, and Booster shoots him. Both killers, maybe? Harley was inside more

The most startling and intriguing mystery in the DC Universe continues as Naomi searches to uncover the secrets of her own origin. What do her small town's oversized mechanic and the last time a super-powered person appeared in her hometown have to do with the day she was adopted? Big emotions, new characters and a last page cliffhanger that can't ...
As a very shy, awkward person, i relate a lot with this book. It IS hard when you dont even know what youre doing in a place and people keep pushing you into other places/ directions.
Of course this book would be a comedy and i like that. Sometimes its nice to have the heroes, like the trinity, not being like a wall where no jokes can go through (when its done just well enough).
Beautif more
Exiled from their home planet, alien heroes Zan and Jayna must navigate life as teens on Earth at South Metropolis High School, where they're even bigger outsiders than the typical awkward young adults. Under the watchful eye of Superman, the brother and sister pull monitor duty at the Hall of Justice as interns, while also trying to overcome the p...
Theres no escape from the awesomeness that s this book! My favorite title right now!
You can feel how big of a threat the villains are! And Zatanna is back to using her powers! Awesome! Man-Bat is an amazing character in this series. As is Detective Chimp. Two characters i didnt give a damn before, but now i love!
Beautiful art! Specially the last page! Gorgeous! Cant wait for next mont more

..........what in the fucking fuck did i just read?.............
seriously, for the love of Jack Kirby what was that atrocity????????
I was expecting some female empowerment to happen in this book because its a good thing. But THIS? If i were a woman i would be furious! Every female character in this book is completely out of character! They act like theyre some kind of weakling creature more
All their lives the Female Furies have been raised to be the meanest, most cunning and most ruthless fighting force on all of Apokolips. So why are Granny Goodness' girls left behind every time the men go to war? With the might of New Genesis hanging over the planet, and the Forever People making mincemeat out of Darkseid's army, Granny thinks it's...
Maybe its a combination of not reading the original books, not respecting the legacy and what these characters stand for and trying just too damn hard to put their own voice into the story. So hard, it fails
Darkseid gets #metoo'd

I feel good about this issue. They dont do much, but Wonder Girl is pretty badass. The book is fun. Art is great.
The new teen super-team unites as Robin (Tim Drake), Wonder Girl, Teen Lantern and Jinny Hex join forces to help Amethyst free Gemworld from those who control it. In another section of the strange dimension, Connor Kent and Impulse find themselves taken captive-but if this is really Superboy, why isn't he putting up a fight with his friend and form...
Even though i love Grant Morrison, the star of this book is Liam Sharp! He keeps outperforming himself every month! Theres no stoping him!
As for the story, Grants approach is fantastic to me. This is the most "space cop" Green Lantern book i could wish for.
In a bar on Rann, two shrouded strangers recount two blood-chilling narratives-one in which a Blackstar heavyweight demands access to a secret vault on planet Weirwimm, threatening its gruesome annihilation with Sun-Eaters; and the other about maverick Hal Jordan and his small cadre of GLs struggling to destroy those same Sun-Eaters. And the cliffh...
If you thought only WB does not understand DC characters, as proven with multiple choices done in the DCEU (Riddler-Luthor, Harley and Joker both having tattooed faces, murdering Batman, TMNT Doomsday, etc.), read this comic and think again. Sigh, what a mess, where characters are merely one dimensional shells, and their stories are second to the pseudo-empowerment theme so unsubtle and ironicallymore

Looking through the preview along with reading the reviews has strongly confirmed my decision not to read this series...
It also has good parts I think. It just reduces the characters to one part of their characters, but they are way more complex. I still liked it way more than Darkseid War or Mr. Miracle.
Sadly the "Albie is Lex" revelation wasnt a surprise, a plot twist, but its fine.
Very solid issue. I like how Scott Snyder is building the relation between Lex and Martian Manhunter. Its nice, different. The art is pure gold. You cant go wrong with Jim Cheung on board.
I like where this is going.
After the disastrous events of the Justice League Annual, Martian Manhunter decides to take matters into his own hands and negotiate a peace with Legion of Doom leader Lex Luthor. Traveling to a distant moon, the two enemies face their intertwined pasts in a showdown for the fate of the Multiverse. However, before either of them can lay claim to th...

12 issues in this series so far, plus one annual and ive enjoyed all of them. Its simple, nothing that i havent seen before, but its fun, a well done cliché.
""Greg Capullo"" doesnt draw my favorite Metamorpho, but his art is still very good.
The Terrifics disband, but they're going to need to get back together if they're going to save Mr. Terrific from Doc Dread's new team, the Dreadfuls!
