If DC books are like this moving forward, I might switch over...

Excellent start; the cover & Ridley writing had my curiosity, the actual story has my attention.

This whole comic kicked ass! Every story introduced new and interesting characters and groups. T'Challa wants to be king but the weight and pain of loss is starting to get to him; excellent writing by Ridley!

T'Challa is more about hiding what he has done vs. finding the traitor. That's what makes this storyline so compelling so far.

I just wish Boom could have more actual RUNS than just six or five issue stories.

This was a very fun read; im looking forward to where this goes! The map and the writer/creator letter at the end reminded me of how Spawn #1 ended back in 1992. It does a great job of explaining the reason and inspiration for this comic book.

Al brought back Galactus LifeBringer....'nuff said!!!

Nice surprise at the end

This should've been an Ultimates team (Black Panther, Blue Marvel, America Chavez, Ms. Marvel, Spectrum) book but this is what a comic book should be!!!!

It's a shame when Marvel does great books it's only for 5 issues...

The best books Marvel always fails to put real marketing budgets behind them.....

Great start

Okay....so far so good. I had low expectations coming in due to Cates current Thor run which is a piece of monkey crap (I think Marvel forced Thor on him). The 1st issue is good but I still hold some reservations as to if it will still be good throughout like Ewing's Immortal Hulk.

So far, so good; I am really interested to see how/when Bruce and Jace will confront each other as Batmen in the future.

I feel privileged to read/own this Hulk run. I never thought I would be a Hulk reader but what Al Ewing put together has been a masterpiece. Cant wait until October!

Excellent ending to a fantastic, legendary run. I was never a reader of Hulk ( I've been reading comics since I was 6 yrs old) the character to me was one dimensional and too predictable: get angry, smash things and then feel sorry about it all. This run made me a Hulk reader moving forward.

VERY VERY GOOD! I had to read this at least 4 times to get the scale and scope of this. Maybe Xavier, Moira and Magneto are still in the drivers seat all along. Remember HOX/POX when Moira said: "This time, we break all the rules".

This is in line with what Hickman created; excellent!!!

How in the hell is Destiny alive????! WTF!!??? Yeah, Xavier and Magneto have messed up big time....omg

What took you so long boy?

This keeps getting better and better!!

I never heard of Anansi, the African spider god until now (do a wiki search on this, you will be VERY surprised at what you read). Barnes and Alexander are hitting all points with this series. I am pleasantly surprised with every issue.

If you arent reading this...you are just a hater.

Good to see the back story of SeeSaw.

Wasnt seeing that coming....well not him anyway.

I'm so glad they did this.

The first 30 issues piqued my curiosity....NOW Killadelphia has my attention. Best issue of 2023 so far. I will definitely get the variants.

Little Monsters (2022) #2 May 28, 2022

Very good...might have to add to pull list

Get it on your pull list if it's not already.

Why isn't this on your pull list yet?!

There so much left to discover with this title; I'm excited for the next arc.

It's a shame this book is coming to an end. The good books NEVER last long nowadays....

The books I really like always end quickly.

This book, like Killadelphia, motivates you to read up on factual history and it blends well with the fictional/supernatural story, in a non-preachy fashion (no SJW stuff here). Must have on your pull list.

If this isn't on your pull list, do it now.

It's amazing how now Mutants, acting in their self-interests and doing the same thing that the "flatscans" have been doing to each other and mutants for YEARS, are now considered the "villains'" by a lot of readers....as an African American, I can relate. Great issue! Put SWORD on your pull list...

Storm will not bow to Arakko....to NO one. Excellent

Here we go down the hole......

Very good; origin of Zoe that has depth and room for more; we are starting to see Emily's different approach to using magic that differs from her instructors (especially Strange). Must be on your pull list.

Now I'm curious on how they get there & how about Gaslamp!?

Typical Marvel/Disney to end a successful run and either replace the current writers/artist or start all over again with a #1 issue and 100 variant covers. Enjoy this while it lasts!!

Sad to see this come to an end.

Just like The Ultimates (Blue Marvel team) this book & Strange Academy before it, is the most slept on right now.

Thom sucks at being a dad and this is causing the issues with his son; I love where this is going.

Excellent ending to an arc; also gives more context to what the Department actually does.

This is a major movie waiting to happen. I cant believe im saying this about a DC book....

I cant believe I'm liking a DC book and it's on my monthly pull list.... Hell has officially frozen over.

Why isnt this on your pull list?

I can't wait to get the whole series in TPB format, take an edible and read from start to finish.

Wow. Awesome. Hopefully, we won't have to wait 2 years for this to continue

Interested to see where this goes

Excellent

Never disappoints

I was about to drop this book until this issue.

Now, we are getting a sense that this tale will be FAR different from past ones.....

This is shaping up to be something VERY different than what has come before....

Ultimate Black Panther (2024) #5 Jul 1, 2024

Excellent writing.

The fallout from the Department of Truth failing its mission.....

With this issue, I now fully understand why Namor continues to brush off Xavier's & Magneto's overtures to him about joining Krakoa. They have NO IDEA what they are doing and how to build a nation and focus on the what the nation actually needs. This issue nails the tragedy that will be Krakoa....

Fabien Cortez is a piece of crap; I love how they continue to pile on his character. It's a shame this is ending with #5. This needs to be an ongoing series, it would be a great tie into the Inferno run coming up (morality of mutants vs mutant law).

After reading this maybe we should all stop hating on Hickman wrapping up HOX/POX, buy those books back (or get the trades) and re-read them. Interesting stuff in this issue...

Dang, NO ONE is safe

I just wish the stories were longer

So far so good; this is developing into a good run; not just a 5 issue short series. There is a lot to unpack.

One of the last books remaining on my pull list

Good so far...

This issue was much better. The back story added more depth and interest for me. This story from Barnes seems to be building a little more subtle than Killadelphia did (smack you in the face from the get-go).

Origin of Doyle....nice touch only problem was the book was too short.

Very good but still too few pages for the price of the book.

I was very entertained by this book; I will be interested to see where it goes.....

Much better than the 1st issue. I like how they continue to stretch out what the Absorbing Man can & cannot do and establishing the leadership hierarchy with this team. The ending, I was not expecting (in a good way)!

Missed opportunities....thats all I can say after reading this.

We will see where this goes

Starting to pick up again...

What If...Miles Morales #3 Jun 28, 2022

I love Immortal Hulk but Betty is just a tired, always complaining chick to me. Bruce is better off without her; he has his own things to deal with. This was just a tie in to the future Defenders book coming out next month. This issue wasn't really needed but its ok nevertheless.

I'm conflicted giving this such a low rating but I was not very impressed with Spawn being introduced into the book. The character's experience with otherworldly entities was not reflected at all.

It's ok but this first issue didnt have the "BANG" of Killadelphia's first issue (especially the ending..."What took you so long boy?!") I will stick with it though...

The explanation of the Sith was a good touch. Better understanding of why the Sith Holocron's are shaped that way.

Tynion needs to speed things up a bit

Man, stop with the Mjolnir "being worthy or not" plot! Either have Thor carry the hammer or not! Personally I like that Cates is attempting to craft Thor to be MORE than Mjolnir and becoming a different King than Odin but get on with it for pete's sake! Good issue but these are too short, need more pages of art and story for this chapter of this run.

Im lost..Moira is the villain now?

The ending didn't make any sense

I can't believe I'm saying this but it was a bit underwhelming.

Al Ewing is my guy but this wasnt worth $6; maybe I have to re-read it.....

I hate to do this, but this issue and current run is stale. This was covered already during Coates' run, another civil war in Wakanda. At this point, other than Tosin and the lost tribe of Wakanda (which is just the Jabari with Vibranium physically fused to their bodies), there is no new ground being covered here.

Sorry, I don't like what Ridley is doing here. T'Challa is like Daredevil now, always whining and complaining how he is a total fuck up. Plus, Cap is THE LAST person that should stand in judgment over T'Challa. This series has been lackluster at best. Coates' run was better than this!!!

I wish I could give a zero. I'm DONE with this run!!! NOW CAP TALKS CRAP AND THEN WHOOPS T'CHALLA'S ASS??! THATS HOW FAR WERE GOING WITH THIS???

Ridley should be ashamed of himself. He has officially lost his Black card. This run was the WORST Black Panther run ever!! So now Wakanda has no king/queen, now are allied with the same man who flooded and sent Thanos' henchman to burn it to the ground on a lie and as the cherry on the top, is being run by all the women like its Biden's administration. Thousands of years of tradition is supposed to be gone in a few months?!? This shit is why I'm reading less and less of Marvel and just reading strictly independent publishers.

More SJW agenda?? Give me a break. Now, women propose to men? Wow...nice job Marvel....

$6?! Miss me with that.

Cates is uninspired on this run; I dont know why people are not saying this but: It sucks. Dropped from my pull list. You cant rest on your laurels forever Donny.
