Pandemic didn't even started on China, remember the e-cigars that people were getting sick on USA? yeah it probably was covid. What I find not believable is that a super metal would make all aliens be bribed for it except Wakanda.
THIS IS WHAT COMES NEXT.
On Earth, the HELLFIRE GALA is in full swing. But on S.W.O.R.D. Station One, a very different guest list comes together...as Abigail Brand finally unveils her plans for Mysterium - and the future of human and mutantkind.

S.W.O.R.D. #6 is the best issue of the Hellfire Gala. Not because anything Earth-shattering, or in this case of this story Mars-building, happens, but because it sells that event with aplomb. Ewing and Schiti combine to create something wonderful in this comic. S.W.O.R.D. continues to be one of the must-read X-Men books. Read Full Review

S.W.O.R.D. #6 is about payoffs both literally and figuratively in a beautifully drawn book that does an exceptional job of acknowledging plotlines from before not only in the mutant storylines but also the entire marvel universe as a whole as Ewing shows just how adept he is in weaving the threads of what has come before and cracking the door open to show us a glimpse of what is to come... because this IS what comes next! Overall this book continues to be one of the best series in Reign of X. We really get to see the mutants positioning themselves as a potential galactic superpower. The humans are not going to be happy with the developments in this issue. Read Full Review
S.W.O.R.D. #6 is one of the best chapters of the Hellfire Gala crossover. Al Ewing and Valerio Schiti work together to make everything that is said in this issue have a sense of importance. Valerio Schti sweeping, dramatic art couple with Marte Gracia's lush colors make the diplomatic negotiations feel operatic where they could be dull. Add to that a more personal b-plot involving Magneto and S.W.O.R.D. #6 proves to be a weighty and beautifully crafted issue. Read Full Review
S.W.O.R.D. #6 is a comic full of payoffs, some of which readers won't be expecting. It immediately picks up after Planet-Sized X-Men #1, exploring some of the immediate aftermath while Abigail Brand and S.W.O.R.D. turn most of the comic into a sales pitch for the built-up Mysterium. There's little to no action here and it's very much all about plot developments but manages to make up for it with cool art from Valerio Schiti and Marte Gracia and some compelling character interactions. pretty excited for next issue, Doom and Storm is fun, nice to see Wanda and Mag have that talk
This issue is crazy and you should all be grateful for being witness to it.
If this isn't on your pull list, do it now.
uow.
Much happens in this installment, political issues, a completely finished planet that they will call home, emotions floating, Cap and Doom have an excellent dialogue and while the Scarlet Witch and Magnus have a heart to heart.
The cosmic fallout of the Gala starts unfolding. Mysterium is explained and the mutants use it to bribe their way to recognition as the masters of the solar system. The art is gorgeous, the political ideas are fascinating, and some of the dialogue is positively shocking in its greatness. Letting this creative team handle the big followup revelations might be the smartest editorial decision in the whole event. I think it falls shy of perfection only in that its best character moments go to guest stars (particularly Captain America and Doctor Doom) rather than the main cast. Magneto does get an incredible moment, though. Does he count as a cast member?
(Also why is Brand cosplaying Callisto?)
This took what happened in Planet Size and made it MATTER
This issue establishes solidly that the mutants quite frankly are not screwing around anymore. They are taking what's theirs and with a vengeance
You can deny their methods but what you cannot deny is that Hickman Ewing and everyone else is writing a DARN good story here and putting respect on the characters names.
And thats ultimately what the Gala was about. Mutant kind is making its play on the GALACTIC stage. And they've got the ingenuity, the planning, and the POWER to do it.
If you aren't following the X Men right now, what are you even doing? This is a run for the AGES and will change the MU forever. Thats no longer an understate more
Ewing takes the tools and materials the new X lineup provides and makes art.
SWORD gives what I loved about Planet-Sized X-Men a darker side to it. The mutants pulled off a miracle, but they've effectively locked Earth down and are now holding everybody else back. Loyalties are definitely going to be tested now between people the X-Men called allies. I'm always on edge on how with Storm running some events how a conflict with Wakanda will be inevitable. God, Hickman's the one who broke them up in the first place.
Plus with how dysfunctional Wanda and Magneto's relationship is, seeing Magnus try to make amends is refreshing. The way he makes it look like he resented her brings layers to his beliefs. He knows that Scarlet Witch caused a lot of grief to mutants and isn't even a mutant anymore because of her more
I didnt like Hellfire Gala, but I can safely say that this was the best issue out of the entire event. I like Magneto and Wanda conversation as well as Captain America and Doctor Doom.
"I helped build a world today...and I was happy...for the children... But then...then I thought of my children. And how I'd failed them.
You are my daughter Wanda. You'll always be. And I will do what I must to make things right."
-Magnus -
Many challenges come with the terraformed of Mars, an etopia that if they are not careful can explode in their faces.
An interesting great delivery, I really enjoyed reading it.
Another great success, simply Marvel is taking strong and safe steps with some publications.
The best thing was the Magneto Wanda interaction.
See, I don't think Ewing is stupid but the fact that he thinks that a planet with a single government would actually work out, and better than one dIvIdeD bY nAtIoNs, is proof of stupidity. I know, these are comic books, we're not supposed to take them seriously when it comes to politics but these guys DO take themselves seriously when they preach what we should and shouldn't do in our world so I'm going to take their stupid ideas seriously. No, one world government would suck balls for everyone. Every single world organization has failed over time. The League of Nations has failed when we needed it most, to avert a world war. The UN has been a corrupt joke for a lot of years. And last year, the organization we needed to oversee our health, more
