This run on Daredevil continues to enhance and interrogate its moral and systemic subjects with each new issue, and that has developed one of the best superhero comics to be found. Read Full Review

Another really good issue in a long chain of really good issues. But I'm really getting the fever for some superhero/supervillain throwdowns. Read Full Review
The latest issue of Daredevil does what this volume does best: Push forward a complex story about Hell's Kitchen and its most tormented resident. Even with minimal action and a heavy focus on Matt's thoughts, this still feels like an ensemble story about the whole neighbourhood. It's brought to life with vibrant, realistic art and compelling twists in the ongoing plots; #17 is a fitting meal for fans whose palates have grown accustomed to high-quality storytelling. Zdarsky captures what it looks like when a few corrupt individuals hold all of the power"and what it looks like when that same power is given back to the people. Read Full Review
Fornes art is so good, truly Aja-esque.
So good.
Well, I'm just as into this as I always have been.
Prelude:
Turns out, Through Hell isn't over. Anyway, Zdarsky has been doing great work on Daredevil so I'm looking forward to this issue.
The Good:
I love that opening scene dealing with Matt's murder and forgiveness.
Izzy's scene was freaking great. Hell, the entire crime subplot is too.
It's always great seeing how Matt's faith impacts him.
Love the scene with the Stormwyns.
That cliffhanger. Bullseye is coming!
Jorge Fornes art was absolutely great in this issue.
The Bad:
Nothing.
Conclusion:
Another wonderful issue from Zdarsky. I'm loving his Daredevil to bits.
Chip Zdarsky continues to dazzle us this story arc and while there was not much action in this issue its widely shown how the plot continues to thicken especially with the Stromwyns continuing to display their power to only our protagonist (Matt Murdock/Daredevil), but to the antagonist as well Wilson Fisk. Also excited for the return of one of Daredevil's deadliest foe in the next issue.
The gang war between the Owl and the Libris family heats up!
This time our dear Devil is facing a threat he can't easily beat. Money and power.
-Damn, what an opener. Nice touch on the cross to make it closer to home for matt
-Matt actions creating a ripple effect in the underworld makes this world feel even more connected
-Honestly love the brother and sister think hell's kitchen is inconsequential, completely disrupting this new/driven matt
-Exciting name drop at the end
Great work as always but this issue was well paced and even better put together. Kudos to Zdarsky! Fornes art though was great and gave it some crime noir vibes even as the nice colors by Woodard made it pop.

This lacked on the action but it had a ton on tense moments and things could possibly get really bad for Matt here soon. I really just hope they dont go the route of exposing his identity again.
Another tense, gripping, and well illustrated issue in this brilliant run. Bring on the next one!
The Stromwyns look unbeatable and the Owl starts playing dirty, too -- Matt's life is suddenly full of challenges. Our hero doesn't make a lot of good progress, but this examination of what he's up against is compelling. Solid if unspectacular art gets the story told well.
Enjoying the moves and counter-moves.
Again with the the cartoony villains.
