Chock full of existential dread and dynamically emotive artwork, and further armed with a tremendous cliffhanger, Immortal Hulk #38 makes a very strong case for being one of the best issues of the whole series. Keeping the consistency of Marvel's heaviest titles hovering between good and great, Immortal Hulk #38 is another standout issue for the standout series. Read Full Review
It's fantastic. Full stop. Read Full Review
Joe Bennett's art is fantastic. Every panel depicting the Devil Hulk is dark, ominous and beautifully detailed. A great looking issue from start to finish. Read Full Review
Immortal Hulk #38 brings the Leader to the precipice of triumph, but it becomes deeply satisfying by also presenting the seeds of his destruction. The many personalities of the Hulk oppose him, but here, it's even more important that the Hulk has friends to help him out. With powerful art supporting its complex script, this issue is a breathless thrill-ride that delivers a tremendous amount of plot development on the way to the story's climax. Read Full Review

So so good. Leader couldve finally won but his ego got the best of him and he got Hulk angry. Looks like Bruce created Devil Hulk in his mind when he was 3 to be his father, but since his real father is abusive, devil hulk took the form of a monster
Yes.
book of the month every month.
Perfect.
It only gets better. Another masterpiece!
This is just devastatingly good.
All the players are in place, and all have started to play their cards.
The buildup is over, and the endgame is starting strong.
I love me some Devil Hulk.
A shadow from the past comes back to help Bruce Banner and... it's perfect. Al Ewing does a spectacular job here.
The Leader's triumph turns to ashes as the title's protagonists -- across all the settings the Leader occupies with his puppets -- fight back against him. This is still a great comic (particularly on the visuals, where Joe Bennett dominates), it's just a little bit lower than the "villain's scheme revealed" issue that came before and the "villain gets his richly-deserved whupping" issue that's doubtless on the way.
" Mine ! And he need his father ! Every boy needs a father..."

What can I say... He takes this personal! Real personal!
Had a blast reading this.
Very good issue. I didnt think it was in the tops of this series but definitely got the ball rolling for the endgame. You can tell things are about to go down.
Am I supposed to know what's going on?
