• The rematch everybody wanted - but not like this!
• The Hulk is broken, friendless and hunted. In every way, he's a shadow of his former self...
• ...but there's nothing like the real THING.
Rated T+
Overall, this may not have been the story you showed up for, but you got something much better that should go down as a definitive moment for the Hulk and Thing moving forward. Immortal Hulks creative team continues to deliver one of Marvels best products month after month, and this month was no different. Read Full Review
It's a new take on Hulk Vs. Thing, and Ewing's script combines with Bennett and company's art to give us the beginnings of a beautiful frIendship. Read Full Review
Joe Bennett delivers some amazing imagery throughout this issue. Bennett always does an amazing job with the action and horror elements of the story, but the human moments between Hulk and Thing are rendered beautifully as well. Read Full Review

Overall, this series as been a rollercoaster ride to hell and back, quite literally in some issues! Now we find ourselves at a point of coasting and needing to catch our breath, and some will see the depth in that, but I fear other readers will be feeling hard done by in comparison. TheImmortal Hulk series never slows down for long though, and I am excited to see whats in store for us next month. Read Full Review
All in all, this was a solid issue of Immortal Hulk #41. Not the rematch you were prepared for, but you had to appreciate that there was so much more to where this was leading than what was initially let on. Read Full Review
Hulk vs. Thing: It's one of the oldest and most celebrated rivalries in all of superhero comics, so it's no minor feat to provide a fresh spin on this decades old battle between giants. Yet that's exactly what The Immortal Hulk #41 does, first by delivering the classic brawl and then upending it through the careful application of empathy. Read Full Review
As an IMMORTAL HULK fan, I was a bit disappointed with this issue. We don't get the Hulk we've grown to love in these past 40 issues nor do we evolve the story much at all. Read Full Review
Oh, c'mon. They can't ALL be perfect … oh, wait, yes they can. Al Ewing and Joe Bennett are comic-ing on a whole different level.
I cannot rate this any lower than a 10. This issue was a rarity in comics today - well-written, great art and rather touching at times. And I loved the Biblical analogy Ben used. I just read a perfect issue.
Ewing needs to be writing a solo Thing series too, btw. He gets Ben.
Excellent issue!
An amazing change of pace here. Ewing writes a great Ben too!
At first I was really insulted by this comic. How Thing punched the crying Hulk... I mean, I felt so freaking sorry for him, it's literally like beating up a kid. But then Joe appeared and said exactly what I thought, so the Ewing really made me feel what he wanted me to feel, isn't it awesome? That's so cool, when the author really knows how to manipulate the emotions of the reader in a way they need it. The Joe and Ben conversation was cool as well. However, it wasn't enough for me to give it a 10, I'm a mean bitch, but still, an outstanding issue.
Great issue
Another great issue.
He can do no wrong. Thought provoking dialogue and musings landed so well here. Ewing's use of the Thing is excellent. What else if left to say but the art team of Bennet/Jose/Mounts is as excellent as ever!
A "rematch" worth the wait. This issue will surprised me in a pleasant way and I love how well Ewing writes Ben here.
This was a really good issue. I hope people realize that The Thing is a great character too, and don't harp on how much focus he has in this issue.
Great issue all the way through! Slowed down to reward faithful readers of the series. This has to be one of my favorite comic covers in the last 5 years.

Always like the thing and hulk. Its probably a weaker issue in terms of plot but the visuals and writing were well done.
