I guess you can say that it's a Marvel Christmas miracle! Happy holidays everyone!

This series is all heart, nothing but heart. It deserves the accolades that it has received from across the industry and from outside media. This series continues to build a well-crafted and well told tale of youth, love and now loss. A must read.

I can't overstate just how good this comic is. From cover to cover this one is worth every cent you spend on it. Waid and his creative team have raised this book from the edges of obscurity and brought it back to the forefront for a whole new generation to discover. This may be the most successful relaunch I've read since Snyder and Capullo took over Batman.

Woods has been on my radar since his work with DC's Superman. His characters and facial expressions are the perfect balance for a teen-drama series like this. I think that he is the ideal artist for this comic and Archie and the gang have rarely looked better.

This book is once again on my year's best list. A must read for comic fans and anyone who survived their teen years. This is comic book perfection that must be read to be believed. Final Score: Perfect 5 out of 5.

This book is an homage to the history that has come before, yet willing to strike out into an exciting new direction. I don't know what any other company has in store for this summer, but right now it looks like DC will be running the show. Kudos to the creative team for an excellent read!

I must also include one last note here in closing. The ending of this issue is so creepy, and so twisted that it will sit with you long after the book is closed. Don't be afraid to admit that you were upset by this reveal. It is how this book was designed. I might even suggest not reading this comic in a lonely room or an empty house…the creaks in the floorboards may terrify.

It seems ridiculous to even try to place a score on this. The work and the talent speaks for itself. To give this anything less than a perfect score would be appalling. Instant classic.

This is how Wilson Fisk should always be in comics. Brutal. Brilliant. Bloody.

If this comic accomplishes anything, it's that it is a reminder to all of us why we fell in love with the dark knight, to begin with. It reminds us of how long we have watched Batman protect the streets of Gotham. It is a love letter to everything good in comics and it is a sentiment that will carry this title through the next 1000 issues.

This is the start of something special, perhaps not this exact title; but this company. There is too much care and execution being placed into the final product to just be one time effort. I expect that in a few short years we will all be talking about Vault. This is what a winner looks like in small publishing folks. Go get your copy today and let your friends know that this is the beginning of the next wave of independent publishing. I'd bet my career on it.

I have never handed out a perfect score on comiccrusaders.com before. I was saving it for a special title that caught me off guard and wowed me. GiantDays did that and then some. I give this comic the highest of recommendations.5 stars!

While the Grass Kings has now come to a close, I have a sneaking suspicion that this title when collected in total will be a graphic novel that comic fans will pass around to fellow fans, friends and family as an example of how the medium can portray a powerful and detailed story. Kindt and all the creators involved took their bow, and like any great performance, left the audience wanting so much more.

To every fan that has ever journeyed through the Marvelous Universe, I raise my glass to you. To those that will find these words in the distant future may you always have Stan and Jack in your hearts and may you always say "Make Mine Marvel"!Excelsior!

This has the potential to be one of the biggest releases that Image has had since The Walking Dead. There is more than enough here to fuel a TV series or a movie. This is a comic that you can be proud to hand your friends and suggest that they “Read this”. I think that the sky is the limit for Mechanism and its creator. I give this my highest score and my full endorsement.

When Mechanism began I hailed it as the next big Image property. A series that has the necessary chops to become the next major franchise to rival that of The Walking Dead; I believe that now more than ever. If this comic could find its way into the hands of the right director we could be talking about the birth of the next Sci-Fi classic. Only time will tell if we ever get to see Hollywood's take on Mechanism, but comic fans have it pretty good right now getting to enjoy this amazing work unfold in front of them.

If you are just now finding your way into this series, I urge you and implore you to go back to the very first issue, go back to the mini-series before that, go back to the inception of the idea that was laid down by Mark Millar in Wolverine #66 (Published in 2010)" go back and read it all. When looking at this series as a whole you begin to understand the layered tapestry that has been woven here. This is comic book perfection.

The new team of Ed Brisson and Mike Deodato Jr is taking over with issue #25. I know that both of these creators are highly accomplished in their own right when it comes to comics, but the bar has been set so high by the departing Lemire and Sorrentino that I'm not sure anyone has the chops to follow or surpass this historic run.

The creative team should be extremely proud of this title as it is a front-runner for best new series of the year. I am going to gladly pass along this series to all of my none-comic friends and let them try this series on. I think it'll win over a lot of hearts and minds in the weeks and months to come.

There may still be a few months left in the year, but I am already calling this one of my favorite titles of 2017! With Halloween quickly approaching you would be well served to get yourself a set of Redneck issues for the big holiday night. Turn out all the lights, bust out a flashlight, and read these spectacular comics like you were a kid again.

It's too soon to tell, but Costa could be starting the best Venom run Marvel fans have ever seen.

This is a hallmark work and should be lauded by critics and fans alike for breaking down the barriers of what a comic book can be. This is excellent and should be enjoyed by those who are ready to tackle a very tough subject matter with class and grace. I give this my rare perfect score.

This comic is the perfect primer for new fans. It's easy to follow; the art and story are elegant at times and complex at others. There is no better time to start reading this title, or the works of this company, than right now.

While the comic does have few minor flaws here and there, the overall feel and look of the book are going to carry it to a high score and recommendation from me. Just in time for Halloween comes the next great horror comic. Enjoy and keep the lights on! OH! And keep an eye on the blonde with the duel machetes. Something tells me we may have a new bad-ass in comics.

This creative team has set the bar high for expectations when it comes to future issues. But seeing how effortlessly they have cleared expectations already, I think it's safe to assume that the X-Men and their fans are in good hands. I highly recommend this issue to X-fans. This is an instant classic in the cannon.

Fun. Fun. Fun. This comic was strong all the way around. If you like Deadpool then you're going to love this.

Just based on the intro alone this comic would receive a high score, but add in the soap opera style drama of Birdman running into his former wife and learning that he has a cancer ridden son is too compelling to pass up. I first I thought the premise was a bit heavy handed, but just a few pages later I was invested in the story line enough to get choked up when Birdman tries to heal his son.

This creative team is poised to take over the house of ideas. Let's see how long it takes Marvel's editorial team to harness this great duo into a book that really matters.

If you're looking for something vastly different from the standard superhero fare, then this is the comic to buy. It will blow the doors off your brain. Bengal has not only kept the standard of art on this title high, but it's also gotten even better in the latest issue. The flow and energy on every page are supercharged. My only complaint with this issue is that Remender has some trouble writing in a "good 'ole boy" dialect and the ensuing dialog comes off stilted. That's about my only complaint with this book right now.

This is what I expect from Dr. Strange. It's magic and straight forward action wrapped in a weird, kooky faade. It's a comic that you can read at a break-neck pace and then immediately go back and re-read to enjoy the subtle nuisances with the story and the art. Highly recommended!

This is a universal story of a man coming to terms with who he is, who he was, and who he is destined to be. It is a tale about retribution and redemption. So many times in comics we get the story of the warrior riding off into the sunset but rarely do we get to see what happens when that sunset is not enough. The old saying goes “old habits die-hard”, but what do you do when your entire life has been the habit of fighting; be it for survival or personal gain? Some answers never come easy.

All in all, this is definitely worth the purchase. It's a great story and the art is fantastic. The entire team deserves a pat on the back. Excellent stuff!

The book even comes with a surprise ending, which I won't ruin here; but is so good you'll be craving the next issue of this hilarious series.

Hawthorne's art becomes an afterthought to such a strong story. But that doesn't mean that the art in this issue is lacking. It's good, but the tale that Ewing is weaving is center stage. I don't mean to downplay the hard work of the art team here, but this is just window dressing to the masterpiece that the writer is crafting with this stellar cast of characters. As long as Ewing is in the zone like this, they can't go wrong.

Overall, not a bad start to a new series by a very talented team of creators.

My one gripe about this comic is the price point. It retails at $7.99 (U.S.) But the book clocks in at well over 60 pages. So, in the long run, it's not over-charging the reader once you take into account the sheer amount of content that is packaged here. Still, I think this might be another bar to entry for new readers who might not know that they are getting their money's worth.

DC finally found a way to make Dick Grayson appealing to comic fans again!

I'm adding this title to my pull list pronto and I need to go back and start from the beginning to see what I've missed. It takes one hell of a good comic to get me to commit to that kind of effort these days, but what the creative team of Old Guard has built here demands it and I'm willing to take the ride.

Wolverine is the best at what he does; fortunately for us so is the creative team handling this book. This comic was a very strong offering all the way around.

Sure it's clich to say, but the force is strong with this book.

This is just good old fashioned adventure comics at their best. I was very impressed.

If you thought you had seen everything that TWD has to offer then you ain't seen nothing yet. Three words- Massive. Zombie. Horde.

While all of this is too good to be true, it's hard not to get wrapped up in the warmth and charm that this issue brings to the table.

The cliffhanger is best left unspoiled, but doesn't it ruin your day whenyour spouse's murderer is in the last place you expect to run into them?Like in the Neutral Zone…when you think that you have killed them? Man!I hate when that happens.This is a title that should be on the pull list of anyone that remember'swhat great team books are supposed to read like, old FF fans, and foranyone that likes amazing art and a solid story. High praise for a newtitle that I'll have to start picking up on the regular.

This is the kind of comic that Image was built on in the late 90's. How in the hell this team was not scooped up before they reached Kickstarter is a mystery? This is action, its adventure, its bloody, its brutal, it's a feast for the eyes and the imagination and I for one cannot wait to see what these talented individuals have in store for us next. This is my pick for Indy book of the summer and you need to get your copy of issue one before it disappears. Mark my words" this series and its creators are headed for BIG things in the future.

This book is the perfect place for new fans to join, a great place for old fans to come back, and a X-book that many fans have been waiting years for. Hats off to Marvel.

Regardless, fans of science fiction and emotional storytelling need to pay attention to what is happening in this series and jump on board before it's too late.

It's not hard to see that this summer event is going to be a winner for Marvel. This is a hell of a lot easier to follow than the recent War of the Realms mess. You don't need a scorecard to keep track of the cast, and at the heart of the story is Eddie Brock who just wants to be left alone. He doesn't want to be a hero or a father, and it will be those moments of growth throughout the mini-series that will make this character interesting and fresh in a way that Venom hasn't been in a very long time. It's a chance to add more to Venom than just the anti-hero with the fangs and the long tongue.

I was really surprised by this comic. I didn't go in expecting too much and walked away enjoying it immensely. I really want to see where this book is going and I'm giving it a very high recommendation.

As for the art, Balboni has a style that is all her own. The line art is crisp, clean, and a joy to look at, while minor touches like facial expressions, background, and page layouts are all handled with a professional touch. There is little doubt from me that we will be seeing a lot more of this Italian's fine works in the future.

I may not be a legion fan but I know a good comic when I read one and this issue falls firmly in that category. If this is a taste of what is on the horizon I think we all might be reading a lot more Legion of Super-Heroes in the future.

While I highly recommend this graphic novel, I hope that the creative team will take their time and bring a more cohesive tale to their readers in future offerings. If you liked Brain K. Vaughn's Pride of Bagdad or Grant Morrison's WE3, then there is a lot of fun to be had here. If you're looking for smooth and flashy entertainment then you would be better suited to look elsewhere, as Little Girls is all heart, but rough around the edges.

You're easily sucked in from page one and the fun is over far too soon. This series will be a huge crowd pleaser when collected into a trade paperback and all this goodness is bound together.

This is a collection of young talents that are just starting their journey into the industry; while some have experience others are brand new to the game. This is really Indy comics at its finest and one of the shining examples of how fans have helped creators not only fulfill a vision but brought something back into the medium that has been lacking"fun.

I don't know where this book is going but I know that I'm going along for the ride.

The creative team really takes the story to the artistic extremes. From the heavily packed and detailed style we see in the segment featuring Spider-Monster to the sparse classic anime style that features its own interpretation of Spidey. There is something here for everyone. While I might not be up-to-date on all the characters and their respective backstories I think that is part of the charm of a series like this. The more obscure characters will force fans to go out and learn more about who is who and where they fit into the Spider-Man universe.

This comic was a fond farewell for the young pair of crime fighters. I'm sure it's not a goodbye, but more of a so long for now situation. There are a lot of worse ways to spend your four dollars, at least here you are getting your money's worth and then some by getting an amazing story, cool art, and a few tears. DAMMIT! Who keeps putting these things on my cheeks?!?

The comic is suggested for mature readers for a good reason, there are multiple instances of intense violence, language, and sexual situations. This is not a book that will be for everyone. But for those of us who like action, adventure, and adult situations this is a series that you need to jump on right now.

This comic is shaping up to be the sleeper hit of the X-Men relaunch. Watching Wolverine get back to the business of being a cranky, deadly bastard is putting the character right back to his roots and fans will love it. Surround the Canucklehead with a decent supporting cast and you have a gem of mutant-infused love. This one is a ride worth taking. I can't wait to read more!

Humanity isn't likely to roll over and play dead either. There is evidence of that in this issue, as Cyclops and Gorgon are tasked with taking out two strike teams that were staged to enter and eliminate the mutant delegates. All of this is building up as the stakes for the X-Men and mutant-kind get ever higher. Hickman is taking the struggles of a race and putting on the world stage in a way that fans have never seen before. A compelling narrative that is a must-read.

This is a solid read and a story that I want to see continue. Like I said before, this is the strongest offering that has come out of the recent relaunch, and it treats the characters with respect and depth. It's hard to pass this title up when you can see how much care has been placed into it. A strong recommend for X-Fans.

Final Thoughts: "Fighting issues" as I've come to call comics that hinge a bulk of the book on one-on-one fights, can come off like rock 'em sock 'em robots when done wrong. But when a creative team takes the time to install the right amount of story and stakes this type of issue can be ultimately satisfying. This book delivers and then some. The Kingpin comes off looking like the brutal beast that he really is and that should be the goal for a self-titled mini-series.

By the end of the issue the question stands " Are the people who fight alongside Bruce better off or worse for having taken up his cause? I guess it will be another issue before we start to get our answers.

All kidding aside, Robinson and Feister have built a bizarre story of mystery and lust. For every page that seems to give the reader a straight forward plot there are two more pages giving you a curve. There is no way to guess what is going to happen next and that is ultimately the best-selling point of a title like this. This is a comic custom-built for fans of thrillers, heists, and everything not so nice.

If that doesn't peak your interest this entertaining tale I don't know what will. The story was a quick read; the art was VERY creepy and moody; all helping set the perfect stage for a book that would be great to read on Halloween.

Simple storytelling and dynamic visuals are all it takes to make me a happy camper. This is good 'ole fashion comics and it hits the sweet spot of what makes superhero comics great.

It's the return of Bizarro! What more could you want?

Final Thoughts: There is not one panel of Wonder Woman in this entire issue and yet I can't help but feel that this might be one of the best examples of this title I have read so far. Think about that!

Right now Guggenheim is steering the Gold team into successful waters"I don't see this changing anytime soon. This continues to be one of the best titles to come out of the line-wide re-launch.

The lads across the pond have been doing comics up right for years now. It is a wonder that this kind of quality finds its way to market every week! It left me happy, smiling, and wondering if America will ever be able to catch up in the great comic's race.

While I was impressed by this offering from Black Mask Studios I am saddened that my time with the four kids has come to a close. But who knows"every good heist crew has to start somewhere. This could be the origins of a crime team that fans could really get behind.

While the concept of wildlife taking on human traits isn't new, the execution of this series is. Animosity is quickly picking up the mantle that series like Fables and Y: The Last Man left off. This is a very intelligent and unique look at an age-old idea and worth a read.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that Batman's world is drastically changing in the coming months. The storyline is heading toward an eventual wedding, but I posit a theory here"I think with issue 1000 looming for Detective Comics DC needs a milestone moment for the caped crusader. I think that Bruce will get to enjoy the married life for a short time, but all of this is building to the death of Catwoman. I could be way off, but for a character that is driven by revenge, the idea of losing a new member of his family could be the new motive for a character that has been around in comics for so long.

If Valiant wants to push Bloodshot back to prominence within the comics industry it's time to look deeper into the character and start dissecting what really makes the man behind the monster tick. Earlier this month Valiant released Bloodshot: The Definitive Edition which collected the first thirteen issues from the 2012 series. This is a better intro to the character. While this 2019 comic has a decent action story it's lacks the emotional weight of previous installments. I hope that this book quickly finds its feet and gets headed in a new and bold direction.

This comic has the ability to really take hold if the readership turns out for it. So far I'm impressed with this title and the creators involved and will definitely be checking this book out again. Final Score: 4 out of 5 Stars

This title is blazing its own trail and with Catwoman's recent storyline with the on again off again romance of Batman I'm sure that there are a number of new readers that are checking this title out; many for the first time. What a treat to have waiting for them! A solid offering from a character defining artist.

After reading quite possibly one of the worst Marvel books in my recent memory, (Seriously, avoid U.S. Avengers at all costs) this was a much-needed reminder of what talent can accomplish. I can't wait to see what lies in store for the team next. This one is going on my monthly pull list for sure!

All in all, Crone sets the stage for what might be a grand adventure or maybe just a rehash of a D&D style story that we have seen too many times before; really it's too early to tell. The book could go either way. Judging from this initial offering there is more than enough here for readers to enjoy. I say take a chance and see where this creative team leads you. If nothing else, this might be the "what if" Red Sonja tale that no one has told yet.

This title is running on full cylinders and with more folks looking at DD for the first time thanks to the hit Netflix series, this is a great way to hook in new fans.

It really comes down to this. If you are already reading DCeased then you're going to enjoy the hell out of this as a companion piece or a spin-off series. If you're jumping into this series blind, without knowledge of what's going on, then this tale might be a bit of a confusing read, but still an enjoyable comic.

It looks like the class is only going to growing in size and popularity in the coming months as the mainstream crowd learns what comic fans have known since the beginning; this story is awesome.

There are readers that will tear through this issue without a second thought and complain that it was lacking; but to those that take their time there is a story of real substance here, just waiting to be uncovered.

This seems to be the perfect palate cleanser to all of the wedding bells and matrimony taking place in the rest of the Bat-universe as Bruce and Salina tie the knot. This is just a traditional Batman story that reminds us all why we have come to love the caped crusader. Final Score: 4 out 5 stars!

This is a series that has solidified Strange as a man as well as a magician. I fully believe that this current run will be the new measuring stick that is used to judge Doc Strange for decades. The rules of Stephen Strange are being rewritten as we speak and it's one hell of a thrill ride.

Get ready gang! This might be the last time that we get the classic Doctor Strange for some time.

A fun story that is accentuated by the artwork, making for a great read.

This is a solid offering from an accomplished team of creative individuals. I can see that this series is one that has some lasting power and that we all will be diving into the Ether over and over again for years to come.

Not knowing if this is real or a dream has me questioning everything that Kindt has shown me. As a reader he has me off-balance, but in a good way, a way that will keep me coming back until I get my answers.

While the story spits and sputters through the first issue; I'm unsure if it will find it's rhythm as it progresses. The artwork will capture a lot of fan attention and it might be enough to boost sales, but in the long run I'm going to have to wait and see if this maxiseries can deliver the goods.

It's been a minute since I wanted to step back into the journeys and adventures of the Corps, but this creative team makes it easy to get excited about going back into the vast reaches of space.

Mike Mignola and Christopher Golden have made successful careers out of find the humanity in monsters; Joe Golem, for all intents and purposes, might be the zenith of these two creators at their best. Patric Reynolds art is paced beautifully not one line is wasted. This is one of the best reads I have had in a while and a delightful way to kick off 2016.

Overall this book has great art, fun characters, and is worth the cover price. I am interested enough that I would like to read the back issues and keep up with this title and in the end I don't think a creative team can ask for any more than that.

There is a ton to like about this issue of the Justice League. I think fans new and old alike will be more than willing to pick up the next issue to see where the world's greatest superhero team is going next.

There are some really cool moments in this issue that you have to read for yourself, but as good as this issue was the groundwork that has been laid out for issue four makes the upcoming installment even more enticing. I love the direction of this series and I can't wait to read more!

I came into this book leery of yet another “God-like” being as the main villain to the Justice League. Too many times a near omnipotent opponent is the only way to expose any weakness or fault in a team that is as powerful as any deity. But Hitch proves his writing chops as he moves the story forward at a pace that keeps the readers, as well as the characters, off-balance and searching for answers. Paired with the visuals of a master at his comic creative peak and your left with a damn fine comic.

An unexpected twist on the history of a cinematic legend.

In today's overly political world it's a breath of fresh air to pick up a comic like this and just lose yourself in the story–Even if that story is one filled with giant mutant dinosaurs fighting army men in Mech suits.

I never thought that I would type this in a million years, but you need to go check out Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys. Wow! That felt somehow weirdly right.

Reis' art is amazing and a deviation from the standard art that readers are used on team books. Paired with Lanham's vibrant colors this comic pops off the page! The end product is a visual adventure that readers are going to want to take their time to enjoy. While I was skeptical about this series in issue one, seeing the direction that Hickman is taking has me invested and wanting more.

While I was skeptical about the hype surrounding this comic I've come to find that the book deserves most of the praise. While I still have a hard time accepting Conan into regular Marvel continuity, that is my own shortcoming. The story being told here is compelling, full of action and worth a read if you enjoy more traditional superhero tales.

This is a mission that every Star Trek fan of the current crew should join. You will not be disappointed.

The art is solid, the book moves at a rapid pace, and the finale gives the reader insight into why this team is pissed off and looking for revenge.

While the story hits a few action movie tropes it had me invested enough to read at a lightning pace. I could feel the tension of the crew as they worked feverishly to save their fellow shipmates. If you have a strong fear of water or drowning you better leave this book on the shelf otherwise you need to give this title a read.

Steve Epting is filling in on the art chores for this installment and his work looks amazing as ever. There is also the punch to the gut that the very first panel provides as we watch Jane having her hair cut off, preparing for cancer treatment. It is a stiff reminder of just what awaits this woman ever time she has to put down the magical hammer. Good Stuff.

The next issue is going to be another fun one as the Terrifics are all going to face off with their mirror images. I'm looking forward to it. Or backward to it? Stupid Bizarro speak!

A complex tale told in simple terms with a style and flair that escapes most mainstream books.

All in all this issue is the start of something very interesting and who knows what impact it could have as the Ultimate Universe has once again entered into the picture. Could we be seeing a return? I guess we all will have to keep reading to find out!

This series is playing out like an action movie. Little is wasted as the plot moves forward at a fast pace and Land's art is only making the reader's experience that much better. A great start to a new book.

Sharp's artwork is still on point and once again provides another example of why he has quickly become a fan favorite.

This title is still one of the strongest to come out of the re-launch, but thanks to this public snafu it appears that it might already be in trouble of keeping a consistent creative team on board. If this leads to delays are changes in plot, this book could be dead in the water before it even has a chance to start.

This book is still strong and as the next arc begins the true test of how solid the creative team is will begin as the initial hype dies down and the real grind of an ongoing series starts to set in. Can Marvel keep the ball rolling? Or will this series lose steam and die; which appears to be a recurring problem for Marvel and their newer titles.

While I wish that this series had come out of the gate stronger and made a real statement about the two biggest characters in comics, this will have to do.

Complaints about the art aside, this new twist on Flash has got my attention and I'm curious to see how this all plays out.

It was a very interesting way to send home the fans, but Hack/Slash has never been called conventional and that's why fans love it. I'm sad to see this series end, but I know that eventually Cassie and Vlad will make their way back to Image, but for the foreseeable future, their next adventure lies ahead at Dynamite. Evil Ernie better watch out!

It's fun, it's funny, it's going to be short-lived. Give it a quick rub or tug and get on with reading real comics.

The comic carries the same pacing and humor from the T.V. show; Joel Hodgson and other members of the crew lend their talents. Joined by fan-favorite Todd Nauck on art duties for the first half of the issue it seems like this might be the first of many adventures for the crew from the Satellite of Love. For fans of the show then this is the comic you've been waiting for.

The ending fit the issue perfectly and set the stage for the next installment as the invading army is at the doorstep of the castle. High drama meets high intrigue. This one is a great buy.

This may be a book for kids, but it's also a book for anyone who is still a kid at heart. High mark for this school.

While the story might feel a bit stale, there is enough life in these pages to keep me coming back and checking out what this creative team has in store for the last son of Krypton. Let's just hope that something new lies in wait"which judging by the last panel of the book, it looks like something big is on the horizon.

While I'm unsure if this series has the gusto to go into the same category as 100 Bullets I do know that it is a solid offering from a great team of creators. I'm intrigued to see where the series is heading.

The story was well written. The characterization was strong. The plot moved at a satisfying clip. The art was decent. All of these things are usually enough to add up to a great grade, the one thing that is working against this title is that I don't think the BTTF hype is strong enough to garner this book much attention, which is a disservice to the creative team involved. This was a really good origin issue, that if you plug-in any other comic franchise, people would be talking about. Unfortunately, this creative team is going to have to continue toiling away unnoticed.

The art is great and moves along nicely with the story, but as I stated at the beginning it was a story that moved way too fast, but then again, when the plot revolves around two characters like Daredevil and Punisher…what do you expect. You get what you would want out of a comic like this, so I guess it's mission accomplished for all parties involved.

The art on this book was always a draw for me. Scott Hepburn deserves more credit than he's received. Always a pleasure to read.

For the first time in months I'm excited to see where an X-book is going to go next. This all might be a build up into a story featuring Apocalypse (Just in time for the Fox movie kids! YAY marketing!) but regardless I've got to say that I am intrigued.

Artwork is eye-catching, the plot is filler for the next action packed issue, but did provide some needed insight to the lives of the rogues outside of their crime filled ways.

All-in-all a solid effort from a solid team. Final Score- 3 out of 5 speeding tickets.

My hat's off to the creative team for taking a little-known character (outside of the Gears fanbase) and creating interest with new readers. While the gun-ho, take no prisoners attitude is well-worn within the comic's genre, it fits here.

While this comic is not reinventing the genre, it is a decent start for this team and their character. Given time to mature and add some experience; this title has potential of becoming an interesting female entry into the struggling hero drama. I'm curious to see where this title will lead.

The artwork in this annual is great, but Dan Schoening's cartoon style stands heads and shoulders above the rest. The guy is incredible! The stories are what you expect in an annual; short to the point and self-contained. If you're a fan of the Ghostbusters then this is a must read.

There is more than enough heart here to carry this book. I'm not sure that it will reach the heights of its predecessor but it has more than enough merits on its own to make readers care and invest in Kate's adventures.

Millar ties this arc up with a twisted little bloody bow. The body count is through the roof, the panels are drenched in gangbanger blood, and the words out of Hit-Girl's mouth mostly contain only four letters.

While sparse and expensive this one-shot does have some heart. Be warned though, you're not going to get your full money's worth.

The art is the real selling point here. Kids will enjoy the simple stories, but parents will love the artistic design.

It's nice to hear that the Wildstorm Universe is coming back. The Authority was one of the best super hero team books on the shelves for a number of years and slowly faded away. With the looming return of so many interesting characters this title may be the precursor to amazing things. I say check this one out for the story, but to the collectors out there, you might want to grab a copy just in case this is the lightening rod that brings back the Storm.

While this is a fun read the issue does feel like a slapped together conclusion.

This was a pleasant surprise. This book was off of my radar and I was unsure what I was getting into when I open the comic. By the last page I was eager to see where the story went next and looked forward to my next encounter with the Allan clan. Solid stuff.

This is a solid outing from a publisher that I am not familiar with. Given that pop culture has run its course with vampires, zombies, and werewolves; maybe this is the precursor to the next wave. Fairies and magic. A solid book worth a read.

As far as the rest of the issue Maguire gives us his usual brand of excellent art, but there was one thing I noted; there was a lack of backgrounds in this issue, so I'm not sure if the artist was rushed for time, or if there was just too much action for the page and Maguire wanted the reader to focus elsewhere. It's not a major distraction but one that I noticed during the first part of the comic.

This series carries a high bar of entry for new readers; this one is best joined from the beginning. As with most of Hickman's work, the multiple characters and convoluted plotting are too tangled to mess with by joining in the middle of the story. It's best to wait until this series is collected in a trade or go back and pick this up from the beginning.

For fans that expected Bendis to swoop in and change Superman overnight you are in for a rude awakening. This is a marathon and Bendis is smart enough to play out the long game. Piece by piece Bendis is setting up the board the way he wants it. Slowly but surely he is stepping away from the rest of the DC universe to provide himself enough room to rebuild this aging icon. If DC is smart they will leave him to his task unfettered with crossovers and summer events. Leave the man alone and let him get about the work of making Superman super again.

It seems that Wonder Woman is building up speed just in time for this summer's film release. It should be interesting to see where Rucka and DC are going to take the Amazon.

The Blue team might be a throwback to the original team; it is certainly a step in the right direction. I'm still looking forward to where this book is headed and hope that these inconsistencies will work themselves out as the creative team rolls on.

While I'm hoping that I'm wrong and this book will turn a corner, there are signs that there is trouble ahead.

While I'm still not sold on the idea of a mini-series about Saffron I'm sure there is a contingent of the Firefly community that is breathlessly waiting for answers to this character's mysterious background. The rest of the comic world will let this comic pass largely unnoticed.

I had much higher expectations going into this series. I figured that if DC was going to launch another Harley-centric title that they would come out of the gate strong and make a big statement with issue number one. Instead the book just yawns, rolls over , and falls asleep before it even gets going.

I don't like being a prick when it comes to books like this. It takes a lot of time, money, and energy to produce the final product that I'm reviewing. I understand for the creators that this was their life for months, if not years. I take no enjoyment in calling this book sub-par but that's what it is when held to the same standard as the rest of the industry.

The setting, premise, and characters of this series are a solid start for a series, but the shortfalls of the art and the coloring are growing pains that this young comic title will have to mature through to reach its full potential and its largest audience. I'm holding out hope that this comic will survive long enough to find its feet and its readership.

A weird quirky little comic that somehow satisfies. An oddity that proves that you never can tell what is going to work.

There is potential in this series, but the dry plot drags the book down. It's easy to see where the plot is going before it gets there. Interesting in its own way, but far from the breakout hit that it has the potential to be.

A middle of the road comic that is showing some potential. It will be challenge to get Cyborg and this title into the mainstream but the movie should help.

I will praise the creative team for stepping outside the traditional box and giving comic fans something new, the art was great and the characterization was strong. However, the negatives of the book pull it back down when it comes to my final grade. I would have liked to see this title made more reader friendly.

As I said before this book is worth the price of admission for just the visuals alone, but I am starting to wonder if Lobdell is going to start getting to an over-all plot or are we locked into a never-ending action sequence? Where are the titular Outlaws? Is this entire build up going to pay off with Bizarro joining Red and the gang? I'm ready for some resolution please. I really like this series so far but I would like a bit more in the way of story to keep me interested; because if things stay the way they are right now and Dexter Soy leaves this title" I won't be far behind as a reader.

You could do better than this book"but you could also do a LOT worse than this middle of the road comic.

While this series was a solid outing I'm not saddened to see it end. I look forward to the future and what the next round of mutant titles have to offer.

I trust that all this new talent to the industry has already been scooped up by other creators to get involved in other projects, but it'll help me sleep better at night knowing that the next generation is so damn talented.

Overall this new title is not breaking any new ground. This seems to be another offshoot into random stories by random creators. While that may sound like a slight against the series it's actually a breath of fresh air. It provides Marvel the avenue to tell some more off-center tales and test the waters on abstract plots and character development. This is a welcome change in the new re-launch; give creators room to create and let the substance of those stories speak for themselves.

Final Thoughts- The cover says issue one, but it's difficult to read this comic and not feel like you're missing part of the story. It's like walking into a movie when you've missed the first ten minutes" it doesn't ruin your ability to follow the film, but you sit there the whole time feeling like you missed an important piece of information that wasn't shared with you.

The plot thickens, but there wasn't much here to begin with. Just get to the good part and bring the Joker back! It's time for future Batman to go toe to toe with the Bruce's worst enemy.

That's why I'm thinking that this comic is for the diehard Buffy fans who will buy anything with the characters in it and younger readers who want to start their journey into the mythology of the show and the books.

The current climate of politics is volatile to say the least. I'm surprised that Marvel is wading into the mix with this title. As always with politics you'll lose half your audience when you take a stand. It'll be interesting to see just how committed Marvel is to continue down this current path.

Cover #1 comes off as a vanity project from Bendis. Maybe the famed writer is waiting for a cryptic woman to come along and whisk him away to parts unknown. This whole project could be nothing more than the daydream of a brilliant mind. But that statement could be true of the creator and his creation. It's hard to know where Bendis ends and his main character Max begins.

If issue #1 is any indication it's going to be a very long summer.

Quick Hit- There is a lot to love about this comic, but there is also a lot to hate.

The art is sharp in this title and it's a quick read, but in the end this book just feels like filler waiting to get to the main plot.

This is a series that has to be seen to be believed. I'm undercutting the score solely based on the lack of a cognitive storyline, but that does not detract from the enjoyment of feasting your eyes on this artwork. Final Score: 3 out of 5 tabs of acid!

Anyway, fans will love it and haters will hate it. I've got to place this one right in the middle of the road.

If you're going to go with a story like this then save it for an Elseworld's series or a Vertigo book. I know that Palmiotti and Conner think that they are being clever, but it the whole thing came off as the same gag we all saw in the original Austin Powers movie " Twenty years ago. If you're going to take the audiences there then have the stones to go all the way.

This issue isn't so much a Justice League issue, in fact the team only appears in one page of the comic, no, this issue is devoted to the backstory of Maxwell Lord who re-emerged in the first issue of JLA Vs. Suicide Squad.

I think that it's safe to say that Action Lab has found a kid-friendly title that can easily appeal to little ones from all walks of life. Who knows?!? Maybe Monty will take off and be the next Barney. Every generation needs a lovable dinosaur right? Good luck Monty.

Old Man Logan has been the flagship for the X-Men titles for months now, keeping the fans interested in the mutant universe while Marvel scrambled to get the rest of the comic line up to snuff. Now that the launch has happened, it might be just in time to allow the Logan team a moment to relax. This comic is still one of the best runs Wolverine has ever had, but this current storyline is the weakest offering we have seen from this writer and creative team.

Final thoughts I tip my hat to the sailor who got me to eat my spinach as a kid. Love him then and love him now. Toot-Toot!

Allred is doing is typical work here, his style has always been take it or leave it for comic fans. The ones that love it REALLY love it and the ones that hate it REALLY hate it.

Fans rejoice! You have another chance to ride with the Sons. While this may not catch the attention of your average comic reader, there are a lot of good things about this comic to check out.

Final Thoughts: It's a good Star Wars story, but a middle-of-the-road comic book. Final Score: 3 out of 5 Wookies!

Without spoiling too much plot I will say that the end of this issue will leave you hungry for the next. As usual this is a solid offering from a professional group of creators.

This outing of Gwenpool was scattershot. The art team and the writer have built a beautiful and fun comic, but you can tell that they are still trying to find their voice and direction as they go along. I think all the elements are there to make a great comic, the creative team just needs to put those pieces together. I guess we all will have to wait and see.

The creative team involved all did their respective jobs to the best of their abilities, I was just hoping for something more. I don't fault the creators, I fault Marvel for not giving one of their biggest properties the push that it deserves. This should have been a rebirth of X-mania, an event that every comic fan in the country was eagerly waiting for… instead we got this book, and this was not enough, X-fans deserve more. 3 stars.

While this comic lacks the bombastic content of other titles, it makes up for it with tons of heart and a witty insight into the female perspective of life while being cleverly hidden as a story about a pig trying to get her swerve on.

While You Are Obsolete will have its audience, it's hard not to feel that if the creators had just taken a little more time with this idea and concept they could have fleshed it out into something special. As it stands now the book is good, but not great. A solid effort that misses the mark.

While this comic wasn't what I expected when I picked it up, it wasn't a total loss. There is a detailed plot of political intrigue, that I'm sure enriches the storyline over-all, it's just not what I wanted from a Youngblood comic.

At the end of the day this book feels like it's still trying to find its feet and its voice all at once. I'm not sure if fans will stick around long enough to find out if either happens.

All in all this was a decent comic. It's not a book that you should go out of your way to read, but if you pick it up you should be satisfied with the overall story and art. I place this comic firmly at average.

While there will be a new crop of fans stumbling their way out of the theater seeking out the latest adventure of Cable, this current installment may leave them cold. Final Score: 2 out of 5 Stars

The simplistic approach to this issue isn't worth the cover price. This would have made a perfect Free Comic Book Day offering. A quick and easy read that wets the whistle of fans that have been missing the cybernetic heroes.

This is just a middle of the road offering for DC fans.

This is a middle of the road book that is going through the motions. It's interesting that this is the line-up is going with while the Justice League movie is just days away. This book could use any of the main players. Without Batman, Supes, or WW this title is left to the second/third tier characters and it doesn't have the chops to keep readers coming back.

Kiss is back in comics. Given the band's history with the medium I expected more and got a lot less. This is the same band that once shut down an entire city when they put some of their own blood in the printer's ink of their first Marvel comic. That kind of showmanship is sorely lacking in this offering. While I'm glad to see that the band has returned to the medium it would have been nice to have my face rocked off by the sheer magnitude of awesomeness that is KISS. Instead I'll have to make due with an average comic and subpar coloring.

Not much substance in this issue which makes me yearn for the series to return to its earlier form when the comic was one of the best that Marvel put out monthly. This was pure filler and the story didn't have much to do with Logan at all.

Unlikable lead heroine, stale plot, and no heart take all the wind out of the sails of this new series before it has even had a chance to launch. On the bright side, at least what is there is pretty to look at, but that's not enough to give this one a passing grade.

The real story here is Spencer and a story that is now stale. It is going to take some real serious swerves to surprise fans. We all know that this is going to be a return to the pre-Hail Hydra status quo. I just wish it wasn't going to take all this needless effort to get there. The shock and awe of this story was spent in the first issue, now we are all just waiting for the end credits so we can move on with our lives.

Mystery done well is like an addiction, the need for details and information becomes the driving force for a reader to continue pursuing the answers that elude them. Mystery done poorly is confusing and lackluster. The reader never invests enough of themselves into the plot to continue on to the next clue. I would leave this mystery alone. While it comes off as highly thought out there is something lacking in execution.

I was surprised by the off beat humor of the book, which reminded me more of Eric Powell's “The Goon” than a kid's comic. The art also had a quarky feel to it that paired nicely with the story.The first few pages, where we are introduced to the Mutanimals, is worth a read only. All in all this was a solid outing by the TMNT crew, but I just wish I had stepped into the story a few issues sooner.

Between all of these gripes is a good story. I still want to read more, even with a high bar of entry into the series. I found it action packed and compelling. While I would suggest that the creators take some more time in considering the readers over-all experience, they have crafted an interesting comic book. The editor might need to step in and guide this team, but Aftershock has a solid series on their hands; they just need to fine tune it.

I was underwhelmed with the debut issue of this series. (I've been a lapsed fan of the X-Men and I was hoping that this title would bring me back to the fold. It didn't) I am trying to hang with this title to see if it improves, but there is no indication that change is on the way. This book remains middle of the road and that is the grade that it deserves.

A paint-by-numbers team-up that is still fun to read.

hope that the creative team can be given the room they need to maneuver this book into a position that will get readers invested. Right now though" This is better left on the shelf.

The art is solid on this book, the story however is stilted and a little hard to follow; not a good sign with this being the first issue and all. I expected a bigger bang for my buck with this re-launch. It looks like I over estimated Angel.

This concept had a ton of potential at the start. Rebuild Batwoman from the ground up; and let a pair of talented writers really delve in deep into a character that fans still know little about. DC needs to invest in Kate Kane. There is comic gold there; they just have to be brave enough to go after it.

. The story line is now so convoluted I'm unsure if Spencer or anyone else at Marvel can write their way out of this nightmare. The sooner this series comes to a close the better.

I want to like this title. I want to see Cyberforce break through to the mainstream. In our digitally heavy culture this should be a title that is more relevant than ever, but instead the greatness that might have been is slowly fading away.

This book has a lot of untapped potential; instead it's bogged down in the traditional approach of a hero in the hood. It's just too bad.

I came to this title with such high hopes. I left very disappointed. I don't see this title lasting long and I won't be surprised when it gets cancelled. There's just not much here.

I guess if you like Godzilla and action than this is the comic for you!

The art from Hugo Petrus is serviceable, although at times a little sketch heavy. His depiction of a bearded Batman makes me want a hairy faced Dark Knight all the time, while his rendition of Ahl is a cross between a long-haired surfer dude and an underwear model. His facial expressions are amazing, especially his females.

This one is destined for the quarter bins if it continues this trajectory, as this is a huge waste of artistic talent. I'm giving my final score based mainly on my love of the artwork.

The story fizzles at the finish line.

Clunky dialog, poor plotting, and a serious lack of attitude hinder this title from standing shoulder to shoulder with its peers. While Dillon may carry the art chores in this issue, the same great artist can't cover up for all of the mistakes in Marvel's latest offering of Frank Castle.

I have a tremendous amount of respect for any creator who is willing to put their time and energy into a monthly title. It's a huge commitment; one that comes with many pitfalls. Done right a creator can leave a legacy behind that others will admire for decades. Done wrong a creator can dig themselves into a hole that they may never completely emerge from. I'm starting to feel that Larson is beginning to reach for the proverbial shovel. This is just my opinion though, and even as I poke holes in the boat, I still hope that it can reach the creators milestone of 301. Just five and half years to go.

While the costume may be new. (a character in the book even compliments Jessica on her new duds) This is the same old story. Marvel doesn't care enough to give Spider-Woman a decent comic. This will run for 12 issues and then it will be time for a reboot and let's hope the next creative team gets it right because this is not the comic that is going to take Jessica back to the top tiers of Marvel's canon.

I wish Ms. Lee better luck in her next endeavor and I hope that I see her work again, but I'm betting that Mr. Kaluta will soon become a household name.

There are tons upon tons of untapped potential here. I fear that we will not see this title last long enough to get out of its own way to make use of it. Wonderful art is saddled with a piss poor story.

Over-all I will not being picking this title up again. It just wasn't what I expected nor what I wanted. I'm sure that there is an audience out there for this story, but I'm not a member of that group. I know that I dogged on this comic but there is potential here, I can see that, but it may be too little too late to overhaul the necessary changes needed to make this book more appealing to the general comic buying public; and maybe Jordan and his team don't want to break away from the groove they have going. I just know that I'm not sticking around to find out.

I kept waiting for this issue to take off and really provide an exciting story, instead the last panel came and went and the book was done and nothing had really happened. The reveal of Red Skull at the end of the story lacks any punch as a similar reveal had been done in a recent issue. It just seemed like a unnecessary encore performance of a story that nobody cared about the first time.

While the story delivers, the art does not, and in the end the entire issue suffers.

Not for kids. Keep this treat for yourself. But like all the sweet treats of Halloween too much of this comic will rot your brain.

I know that I am being overly harsh on this series, but there is a metric crap-ton of potential here and it is being totally wasted. This could and would be a great idea for a film or a TV show, but given the final product, I just can't see fans getting behind this book and supporting it. So, in the end, I give this issue and this series a HARD pass.

I went in really wanting this comic to be amazing. Instead I got stuck with a book that came off as second-rate. A terrible debut for a new series and one that fans should avoid in favor of better classic tales.

I can't in good faith recommend this title. As a Marvel fan I want to, but as a bigger fan of good comics…this one is best left on the shelves.

Where this series is heading it will only become more confusing to those of us who threw down our controllers in frustration; much like the games this is only for the stubbornly committed and the hardcore fans.

Unless you have already purchased issues 1 and 2, I would advise against putting your $3.99 towards another Image release.

This whole series is just silly. Not in a good way either. The art is serviceable, but rough. The story is contrived and paper-thin. This is a comic that is only built for the hardest of the hardcore KISS fans. Regular comic fans need not apply.

With the stories of the new video games fresh in the reader's mind, it seemed a no brainer tostick with what works. How or why this creative team went so far off the beaten path is beyondme. You had a winning formula right in front of you! How did this happen? I'm glad to see thatTomb Raider is back in comics, but if this is what Dark Horse is offering fans then I wish Larahad just stayed in her tomb.

At this point I can only recommend this book to the hardcore X-fans and the collectors who are completest. Everyone else stay away until the smoke has cleared.

The stories that fans have been regaled with on various wrestling podcasts and in internet "shoot" interviews makes this offering by Boom appear to be what it really is". Kid's stuff. If these companies ever want to really attract the attention of the wider mainstream audiences then they are going to have to offer up something deeper with more heart. Until then the WWE and their comics can plan on being the champions of the quarter bins.

I would avoid this title at all costs. This is a hard pass and I feel bad for comic fans that might have picked this up on a whim. Final Score: 1 out of 5 crotch shots!

This title has flat lined. It's just a matter of time before Dark Horse pulls the plug.

I get more depth and emotion from my Alex Ross wallpaper than this title will everachieve. Face it Frank, it's time to hang it up.You've become a parody of your ownBatman. You're old, out of touch, and well past your usefulness. It's time to passthe torch and let the younger guns leave their mark. You were great, but you needto stop. You're just embarrassing yourself.

It's time to give up the ghost. This series is just another thing that 2016 killed.

I'm not sure if Marvel is just killing time before the Deadpool movie launches or if this storyline is going to tie up some hanging plotlines. (I'm guessing no on that one) One thing is for sure, this can NOT be the book that new fans discover after they leave the cinema, they will leave this title faster than they picked it up. Changes better be in the works at Marvel… and I'm not talking 2099 kind of future either, I'm talking a major overhaul.

Pass this comic over and move on to a better title that is offered by Zenescope.

To fans of this series, I apologize for the harsh critique, I'm sure that this book has its merits, and kudos to you for sticking through such heavy material, but this is a nightmare to outside readers. Unless Zenescope is going to sell this in comic shops with a character scorecard, I say pass this title up and try again when it hits shelves in graphic novel form.

The rest of this book is throw away nonsense. I have lost any and all faith that Uncanny can bounce back from this storyline. I'm walking away from this title until the creative direction has been addressed and I would suggest that the rest of the X-fans out there do the same. Avoid this title at all costs until the creative team has been replaced.

This entire series has the look and feel of being unnecessary. Not since the days of Avengers: West Coast has an Avengers title struggled for relevancy right out of the gate.

I feel more insulted than I usually have when it comes to the X-titles over the last two decades. This beloved title has become the comic book version of the Cleveland Browns, the lovable losers, who will never know happiness.
