Daredevil the series is in great hands with Chip, but Matt Murdock the character has never been tested more. Read Full Review
Zdarsky's seamless transition from a comedic to a dramatic writer is truly a work of art. Speaking of works of art, MARCO CHECCHETTO! His art is great but what I missed the most was his backgrounds. Some of his panels have an abstract, opaque backdrop that I adore. Marco, please don't leave us again. Read Full Review

Zdarsky and Checchetto organically blend their techniques beautifully together again and mesmerize the audience with their hard-hitting and realistic style that inspires engaging questions for the future of the narrative. If youve been appreciating this run to date, youll be captivated by this week's installment and excited for more. Pick this one up and add this series to your pull list. You won't be disappointed. Daredevil kickstarts the newest arc to this series, "Through Hell," with many fascinating things in play. Chip Zdarsky builds on everything he has done so far in his run that continues to highlight how long Matt Murdock can go without getting back to being Daredevil. The roles Elektra, Wilson Fisk and others all play their roles in building greater interest in whatever endgame Zdarsky is building towards. Read Full Review
Chip Zdarsky's writing in this issue captures the heart of Daredevil, highlighting one of his more interesting traits: his willingness to continually question his morality and motives. Read Full Review
Down-to-earth and filled with crime drama realness Daredevill #11 keeps this volume firmly on the right track. Read Full Review
Daredevil #11 is melodramatic in the best ways. At times it comes off as overwrought and a little cheesy, but it feels intentional. The story that's being told here is supposed to be an over-the-top drama and the way all the different stories are intertwining creates a greater than the sum of its parts, situation. Checchetto is back!
Great start to a new story arc! Always love some Matt-Elektra drama. Her training Matt is a new and interesting dynamic between them.
-If he does it well, electra coming back to make Matt relearn his roots would be awesome
-Cole not I'Ding the shooter means chip can do more with daredevil as a symbol in hell's kitchen
-Love the writing of Matt experiencing anxiety when feeling joey's heart rate and meeting his mother. Then offering to be there if she needs any help
-Excited to see how kingpin overcomes his new adversity
-Damn chip really can write spiderman in a way in which his had child-like excitement, but the maturity of someone who has dealt with good and evil for years.
-Probably on of the most morally-driven issues in reference to dialogue that really attempts to show the grayscale in justice/heroism.
another phenomenal chapter by Zdarsky and wow what a huge improvement in the art checchetto is awesome
So glad to have Checchetto back
The more we see Spider-Man, the better!
Prelude:
I have been loving what's Chip Zdarsky has been doing on Daredevil. Now though, we have to go through hell. Let's see what that's like.
The Good:
The art is great as always. Really sells the story well.
Love the aspect of copycat Daredevils. It's a concept that I find interesting.
Really, every part of the story works well. The copycat, the Libris family, Matt's personal progression, the Detective North story and everything that's in-between. There's so many moving parts in this, yet they feel natural as they intertwine with each other.
The Bad:
I don't have any complaints.
Conclusion:
Zdarsky has carefully constructed a series that I enjoy on every level. Nothing to fault in this issue of an already must-read run. more
Still great!
I love Spider-Man.
Like I said, Checchetto's return is most welcome. The art is so damn good, it just makes the issue that much better. On top of the great writing, I don't think there's been a story like this in Daredevil, making it so unique. It shows how much Daredevil means to the city when the other Daredevil pops up, but also shows why he's unique in that he is nonlethal and follows the law. Zdarsky also writes such great dialogue, it really amazes me how his Spider-Man is so light hearted and his other work is so joyful and comedic, but this series is dark and serious, almost as good as Bendis's dialogue when he wrote Daredevil. Spectacular
Not only has Matt's journey been something to watch but Detective Cole North as well. I said it before and I'll say it again: this Daredevil run is incredible!
Another strong if unspectacular issue... but only unspectacular in the sense that this issue is clearly designed just to inch the plot along and add to the build-up. Checchetto's return to pencilling is a big plus. Would love Zdarsky to write AMS one day - love his Peter Parker.
A wide net snares all of the volume's supporting characters, guest star Spidey, and Matt and Daredevil -- treating those last two as separate folks. Everybody gets one to one-and-a-half great scenes, but right now, the point around which they orbit is unclear.
Yeah! Go MustachioDevil!
I don't know if this pep talk from Spider-Man really sells me as motivation enough for Cole North to change his misguided ways, but I'll take it because anything that moves his character forward is worth it.
It's good on all fronts. I don't know why this issue felt off to me but I'm on board this Zdarsky train no matter what. Checchetto and Woodard make the book pop again.
"A classing mugging ! It's class to know in a world filled with cyber-crimes, people still make time for traditional."
-Spider Man
Matt continues to struggle with his inner demons only this time, its through the lens of Matt as a Parol Officer & not daredevil. Spiderman & Detective North's conversation was pretty interesting. Never read a spiderman who acts this way before but it's interesting. Fun issue.
Once again its a solid read. Art got back to normal. Detective Cole is becoming more involved and interesting while Matt struggling never gets old.
