You forgot to say anyone who doesn't like this is a nazi. Just the Klan thing is too little, add the nazi thing, too. If you're going to talk shit, do it all the way. Btw, I would suggest in the future you abstain from commenting on my reviews. You've done it in the past and even though we disagreed, I thought you were one of the sane ones. This post proves you aren't.

Feb 16, 2022Iron Fist #1 is a great debut honoring the old and new. It doesn't feel like the “classic” is being shuffled out the door. Instead, this feels like a blend of the two but more importantly the continuation of two ongoing stories, Danny Rand's as well as the new Iron Fist. By doing that we get twice the fine and a nice opportunity to do some things that are really interesting and new for both characters. Read Full Review

Mar 26, 2022Overall, Iron Fist #1 is an interesting entry into this character's canon, one that looks to right a wrong. The story by Song is exciting. The art by creative team is beautiful. Altogether, a story that remixes the legend. Read Full Review

Feb 23, 2022Iron Fist #1 is a promising start for a new hero, taking big steps in representation while establishing a long running hero can still exist within the Marvel Universe without having to be problematic. The script's ability to walk that tightrope alone makes this solid outing well worth the coin. Read Full Review

Feb 16, 2022Iron Fist #1 is a great introduction to Lin Lie as the titular hero. Even if you know nothing about the character (who first appeared in 2018), this issue will fill you in on the need-to-know details. While longtime fans of Danny Rand may be disappointed to see his title given to a new character, Rand continues to remain a prominent character. This series definitely has promise, and I'm excited to see more from Wong and YG. Read Full Review

Feb 16, 2022Iron Fist #1 is a good start especially since it doesn't play coy with the reader, but gives us the full rundown of who he is and how he connects to a supernatural world. It also lays the groundwork for Danny Rand to play a part in the series in a natural way. Given the rich history this new Iron Fist is built on, we're in for a wild, fantasy-soaked fight comic series. Read Full Review

Feb 16, 2022Writer Alyssa Wong continues her work on Asian mythology-inspired Marvel tales with this series, directly following the aforementioned White Fox one-shot, and Im interested to see how this series progresses. Her script never drags and always moves along at a clip, which you would expect in an Iron Fist series, and the tone is light but with a peering edge of darkness in the corners. But as with any comic featuring martial arts, the art needs to be similarly dynamic, and Michael YG delivers on that front. A lot of this issue is spent fighting and in various states of motion; visual stiffness would ruin the vibe. But he also successfully conveys Lin Lies youngness in comparison to the older (and slightly grizzled) Danny, which is important because of their burgeoning mentor/protg dynamic. All in all, Iron Fist #1 is more than worthy of your time. Read Full Review

Feb 16, 2022Bits and PiecesIron Fist #1 takes all the gravity and drama surrounding Danny Rand's “fish out of water” story and replaces it with a cardboard cutout character who everybody loves. His powers are unearned, he dresses like Iron Fist because he can, and the strong art only serves to dress up a bland, boring, homogeneous, replacement hero. Read Full Review
