Timeless is a one-shot that was mostly anticipated because Marvel told us it would matter, but once I put this book down I couldn't stop thinking about the implications it created. From the glimpse at future stories to the tightly-written Kang story arc and the final page, this is a must-read Marvel comic for the ages. Read Full Review

Timeless is a story that should not be flying under your radars; it's a series you MUST make time for! With Superstar Jed MacKay's fantastic writing and a premise that won't quit, I'm falling in love with Kang all over again. Pick this one up- I have a feeling you'll regret it later on if you don't! It's an interesting approach to not only the character but to a new year of stories, and it's one that is both of the moment and that has a great deal of momentum. Read Full Review

Timeless #1 is a solid read that focuses more on one character than teasing out what's to come. There's only about 3 pages total that does that and some of the teases we generally have answers to. But, it's that end page that'll have readers in the know lingering and excited for what's to come. In an age of leaks and spoilers it's a reveal that has been kept impressively quiet. It also teases what might be one of the biggest shakeups to come to Marvel in quite a while. Read Full Review

Weird Science Marvel Comics - mrgabehernandez

Timeless #1 is a better-than-average one-shot with great art (despite a small army of artists) and a complete story that fully educates the reading audience on why Kang the Conqueror is the most dangerous villain of all time. I'm not a fan of the hefty cover price but there's a lot to like in this issue, and the last-page teaser is an interesting surprise announcing the advent of a famous character we've not seen in years. ‘Timeless' #1 offers up a story in which Kang the Conqueror stars, while also hinting at events in the Marvel universe over the coming year or so. Kang is observed and commented upon by Russian academic Anatoly Petrov, who offers up a narrative take on this super villain that is more objective and thereby thought-provoking than many. An interesting issue and filled with superheroic action and tantalising promises too. Read Full Review

Timeless is probably catnip for Kang fans, but its also very dense and requires your full attention. I wonder how this issue reads for someone who was introduced to the character in Disney+s Loki. (This years Kang the Conqueror series is probably a better entry point for them.) But to the credit of writer Jed Mackay and the expanded art team, its still an entertaining diversion that offers a peek behind the curtain of the unknown future. Just be prepared to bring your full and undivided attention. Read Full Review
