But the biggest strength of this book is giving everyone in the Flash family their own little time to shine. Wally finds it within himself to again become the fastest man alive. Personally, I am a kid of the 90s so Wally was my Flash growing up. Seeing Wally return to the fastest of the speedsters hit me in all the nostalgic feels. Kid Flash also grows in his powers and is able to get himself and his Aunt home safely. Read Full Review

In many ways, a story like this represents the best that modern DC has to offer - it not only plays with larger-than-life cosmic forces, but leverages character dynamics and continuity in a way where these superheroic icons keep growing and changing in a way that feels satisfying and internally consistent. Combine that with some superb artwork, and you can't go wrong with The Flash #50. Read Full Review

The finale of Flash 3 is upon us. The war is over for now. There are some major twists in this issue that have repercussions for issues to come and even potentially beyond the Flash family itself. Is any problem really resolved here? Not much but as usual Barry takes it all on his shoulders and plans for the next battle ahead, although he has no idea what monster is coming next. Read Full Review

Flash #50 caught me off guard with how engaged it kept me throughout most of the comic. Ive had many a problem with Flash post-Rebirth, but this was a genuinely great issue. The pacing is solid, the emotional beats land, and the action is cool. This one earns a recommendation. Check it out. Read Full Review

If readers don't come away at least a little choked up, they may need to be checked out by a physician. There's not a single page within this issue that doesn't scream of passion and appreciation for the legacy of the Flash. The fact that the audience can feel it immediately off the pages is a testament to the work of these creators. This is issue 50, so folks considering picking this up may want to do a little homework and pickup the past trades. Several past storylines do culminate in or hint at events that unfold within these pages. It may seem daunting, but it's well worth the trip through this Speed Force because what has defined this run, so far, is that it has never lost sight of being entertaining and maintained true heart. Graphic Policy - Brett Jul 11, 2018

The Flash #50 shakes things up a lot really changing things for the world of the Flash. There's a lot that has me excited but the issue feels like it's just a bridge to the next thing as opposed to being a story on its own. It hints at something big to come when itself was billed as that something big. Fun, but some air has been let out of it all. Read Full Review

While the overall narrative of the War seemed to fall apart a bit by the end, the story ended up being a game changer for fans of the Flash and we even get a fan favorite return by the end.  The Flash War may not have hit on all cylinders, but it sets up a lot of interesting things going forward for the book.
