Daredevil #30 is yet another perfect edition in this run. The story is gripping and bursting at the seams with twists. The three leads, Daredevil, Elektra, and Kingpin, are moving independently of each other. Their individual stories have different themes, pacing, and emotions, and yet they still feel combined. The art is sublime, whether it be presenting an all-out brawl or a simple punch. Read Full Review
If you're not reading Daredevil, you're missing out on a very well-done comic. The writing is excellent, the art is probably the best art in a Marvel Comic being published currently and it has got to be the most entertaining superhero book out there today, Read Full Review
Those waiting for this run to take a dip in quality can just stop now. Zdarskys Daredevil run continues to be the best ongoing Marvel book and has been for quite some time. Read Full Review
While Daredevil #30 is dialogue-heavy, it builds the "Doing Time" arc as the characters are set for intersections that will make for great action later. Artists Marco Checchetto and Mike Hawthorne shine with their art and the characters they showcase. However, that last page is going to make things messy later in this arc! Read Full Review
A creative team at the top of its game and a set of compelling ongoing plotlines work alchemical magic in Daredevil #30. Elektra takes the lion's share of attention (deservedly so), but every panel, every line of dialogue contributes to this rich narrative tapestry. It's this volume's signature strength demonstrated yet again: The whole is greater than the sum of the parts -- but all of the parts are pretty damn great by themselves. Read Full Review

Pacing is tight, action is fun, story keeps building up, character interactions are always nice, all the three main protagonists are well-written. You know, the usual. Daredevil by Chip Zdarsky is perfect.
Another classic, my one wish is its obvious that Matt is not gonna serve his full 2 years, so why are we supposed to car about what he’s up to in prison?
Love it!
LOVE IT! Elektra out-Batmans Batman as a rich, tough, fearless vigilante. "Neither of my identities have anything to fear. They create fear."

Another great issue!
Pretty good characterization for Elektra and Matt. Art is a bit lackluster though.
Elektra has her first confrontation with Butch and gets reason to re-think her position re: teen sidekicks. Matt and Fisk also get small nudges pushing their plots forward. Elektra's big fight scene is even bigger than it seems and the other scenes are very brief; it feels like this issue is chopped up to obfuscate a slight lack of plot development. It's no great sin, though; the writing is still terrific and the art is far better than most collaborative efforts.
In the Elektra side of the story, something happenend that we all saw coming. Yet, there's more to the situation then I thought there would be. More nuances. That's what makes that part of the story interesting. Showing Elektra's thoughts and that she had the same thoughts/reservations as the reader will no doubt have (had).
On the Matt front, this issue dives deeper into the 'selfhisness/selfless debtate and provides Matt with a way out of prison that wouldn't (completly) undo the significance of his sentence. Let's see where that goes.
Writing & art are excellent as always. What more can I say, this series is just really good!
Its almost like the Matt parts are the worse of the two storylines. The elektra daredevil looks awesome and the story is just great. Im glad they are finally making some headway on Matt being super stubborn about serving his sentence. It was getting a little ridiculous the last few issues.
It's well blended drama. Checchetto and Hawthorne gel well for me even if it shouldn't.
I love the focus on Elektra in this issue. What a great character to enjoy.
Matt is more stubborn than ever and is Elektra finding out just how hard being Daredevil really is. The revelations in the last few pages here have got me pumped for the future, the streets are going to need Matt Murdock back soon whether he likes it or not!
This was good, as usual I'm enjoying the Matt/Elektra/Fisk stories, but as others are pointing out, Matt might be running out of things to do in prison.
To sum this chapter up: the Elektra scenes are great as always, I'm surprisingly becoming more interested in Mike Murdock, Bullseye's loose (kinda disappointing after the intriguing reveal from last issue), and Matt is still being reminded of how much of a selfish idiot he's being. Can Zdarsky just write Elektra and leave Matt alone for awhile? If he's gonna make Matt stew in prison I'd rather just focus on the other storylines. Matt has become the most boring part of this comic.
nothing wild, electra 100% outshines matt
I like him, but mmmmh I don't know where Chip wants to take Murdock, I feel like a little repetitive. Maybe all this was a pretext to change the sex to DD, Electra is not bad I like, but I can not find much direction to this.
I had enough of Matt, he's a cry baby
