Wow, I was super impressed. I decided last minute to add this issue to my pull list, and did not regret it one bit. One of the best first issues I've read recently. Every one of the main characters is likable, and the villain is easy to hate. With just one issue you get to know a lot about the main characters and how they develop a deep connection quickly. The pacing is fantastic and had me wanting more. It reminds me a lot of Stranger Things in terms of the mood, pace, and story-telling, and I say that as a large compliment. The artwork is fantastic and perfect for this story. I'm not one to focus a lot on lettering but even that was masterful in this issue. Overall a really, really good issue top to bottom which I HIGHLY recommend.

This book is amazing. It will make you laugh a lot. Axe is now one of my favorite comic book characters!

This is why I love comic books. Such an amazing idea by Cates, very original, and very very well done. It’s a classic in the making. Don’t miss it

One of the best new books latently, definitely this year. If you like tech sci fi you can’t get better than this. Every little detail was amazing. Live it!

What a masterpiece of a series from Watters and Wijngaard. The art is gorgeous, especially the coloring. And it matches the story so so well, it all flows effortlessly. The story has a bit of everything, is well balanced, and is not as meta as Coffin Bound while still being very deep. One of the most original things out there. You’re missing out if you’re not reading this.

This particular issue is just a masterpiece. The whole series has been amazing but this just takes it to another level. One of the best single issues I’ve ever read.

This issue is perfect. I really can’t understand why they’re stopping this. If they can’t market it it’s not the creative team’s fault.

Wow... this book is a masterpiece. Mandatory reading for any comic reader

Like this series a lot but the ending of this arc felt rushed.

One of the best if not the best issue in the series. Don’t want to spoil things so I won’t say more except it has surprises

This series is just perfect

This series is a masterpiece in storytelling. It’s ok if you cry. Can’t wait for the next series

Wow was this book good. I grew up loving the turtles but had never read the comics. But this is a VERY good story. This is like a combination of a Batman, samurai and turtles story. Can’t recommend enough!

Amazing issue that further explain how all of the story component works. I’m a huge fan of Tynion but this is probably his best work, his masterpiece.

Just… wow. I’m emotional after reading it. What an amazing series and amazing ending.

Tynion is just getting better and better. This is just a masterpiece of a first issue. Cannot recommend highly enough. Ans Martinez’s art is perfect for this

Tynion is just a master storyteller. You need to pick up this book

Just... wow. Ridley is one heck of a writer.

Just... wow!!!!! It does hit a bit too close to home, but wow, what an incredible issue. What incredible storytelling. This will be a sure classic.

This is a really, really good comic with an amazing idea. I like end of the world stories but sometimes feel like they’re repetitive. Not this. It’s charming, emotional, and you immediately connect to the characters. The art is gorgeous. HIGHLY recommend!

Wow this was good. If you like space sci fi then this is it. extremely well written and the art is just gorgeous. Can’t say anything bad about this

amazing plot twist

incredibly good writing, amazing pacing

So good

great humor, great story. highly recommend!

Just gorgeous

Wow! What a comic! Huddleston's art is MAGNIFICENT, loved loved loved the style. Hickman creates an amazing world and an amazing story. His usual pages of explanations are very useful to set the backstory, so then the main story doesn't feel overburdened. The actual main story is very captivating and the characters are great. I really can't wait for issue 2

Beautiful story, concept and art. Rarely do you see character development this deep

ENIAC #2 Apr 13, 2021

This series is practically perfect. If you like sci fi then read this

Kieron at his best

Really good, funny, mysterious. The flow is great. An amazing start to the series

Amazing writing and gorgeous art. Deep story

First I was unsure of the new artist, Bergara, as even though it looked gorgeous, I liked the darker style of previous issues, I thought it fit the character better. But wow Spurrier and Bergara worked amazingly well together and out out an amazing and very funny issue. My favorite so far if the series. Can’t wait to keep reading this series

This is just amazing. It’s hard to describe, it’s sexy, funny, and philosophical. And the art is gorgeous. Amazing what March can do with a comic

Near perfect. If you’re a fan of both series (which you should be) you’ll live this. The crossover was very smart

This is a really good comic. The writing is exceptional and I like the water color art. It’s a slow but very fascinating build. A very well done horror story. I like how everyone seems to have given up on catching the killer. Why?

Nightwing (2016) #80 May 22, 2021

Really great story and very creative view of the apocalypse. Love the characters

This was an amazing first issue and I'd put it with Dollhouse as the best of the Hill House comics. The story is very mysterious and it keeps you engaged. You are dragged with curiosity to see what is happening with the sunken ship. Highly recommend and it's Joe Hill at his best!

This is my favorite hill house comic. It reminds me a lot of 80's/90's horror sci fi thriller. It's funny, it's interesting, the pacing is great and the art is very good for this project. If you like Joe Hill this is a must

Tom Taylor always gets better as a series goes deeper

love this new series. one of my favorite in all of black hammer, probably my favorite since the original series. lemire as usual manages to tell a very deep story while also keeping the mystery of not knowing what is going to happen

two issues in and it's really, really good

i'm always blown away with this comic. i get so enthralled reading it. it really is lemire at his best, providing a touching, deep story with surprise ending. please get this even if you haven't read black hammer before

This was really really good. I had high expectations for this series and it did not disappoint. It will probably be the best Star Wars series in the last couple of years, and I think they have a real winner in this new era.

This was really good. Chip is a master storyteller

Chip is a master storyteller

Best issue of the series and it has all the emotion Skottie young knows how to do. Ramos is great in the art

This is King at his best. He's using his best skills on this story. If you love Mister Miracle and Vision you'll love this. He's not rehashing old work, but the best of the style is the same. The combined art by Gerads and Shaner was an amazing idea. I can't wait for next issue. Seriously, pick this book up, you'll regret it if not.

Probably the better issue of them all. The intelectual battle between Alana and terrific is fasicinating

Best issue of the series so far

Strange Adventures (2020) #10 May 27, 2021

This was really, really good. The creators obviously love both dogs and horror movies and even though It’s a weird combination, it just works exceptionally well! The story and the art just mesh wonderfully. They do a great job at getting the right personalities for the dogs. Honestly, can’t wait to read issue 2

This series is so good and brilliant. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Creepy, amazing storytelling

I LOVE this series and I think it is very underrated. The story is very well crafted and interesting, it's always keeping me on my toes. I always enjoy a psychological mystery/thriller. Even though the series can get sad at several moments because of the physical abuse, it makes you feel closer to the characters. Highly recommend if you like well crafted stories.

This series has by far been the best from Hill House. Issue 5 had me very engaged from the beginning. I really don’t know what will happen and it gets scary at points. Kudos on the whole team for an extremely well done story.

This story will stay with you

I love this series and have been very pleasantly surprised with it. The characters are amazing and it's such an original story. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Lemire at his best. And Crook’s art is always a guarantee. Highly recommend, especially for black hammer fans

Everyone should be reading this series

Holy ^{%}{*{ this is so good! Cates is such a fun, intense storyteller. So many different things can happen. I’m so so excited for this storyline

Still amazing and touching story with a great ending. Can’t believe this is only a 5 issue series

This series is so emotional. It’ll break your heart, especially because you get to love the characters. Can’t wait to see what la coming

There’s no more shock factor like in the first issue, but it’s a really well done story and the art is gorgeous. Fascinated by this world

Both stories are beautiful and unique. Highly recommend. Love what bad idea is doing

The issue starts a bit slow but the second half picks up the pace. Wow what a spectacular twist. The art is ridiculously beautiful and the story is amazing. Highly recommend

really really good take on a zombie story. i'm hooked

You can definitely tell Kraus is a really good writer. It did feel More like A novel/movie, but the flow was perfect. Highly recommend

This is a good issue but I’m kind of conflicted. It’s a good setup and I kind of want more, but maybe I was expecting a bit more, too, in terms of length. I’m definitely intrigued and u think this could go either way for the rest of the series.

loved the dark humor and the storyline, will keep reading it

Really good story that’s setting up what looks to be a fun ride. Surpassed my expectations!

Did not have too high expectations on this but it was a really good Star Wars story. Plus it’s the first cameo appearance of Marchion Ro.

One of the best Star Wars series. Seeing the origins of the Knights of Ren and Ben Solo was fascinating. And the Luke fighting scene is worth the price of the book.

This comic is still the best surprise of the last few months. The art is GORGEOUS and the story is very endearing. Reminds me a bit of Descender, where robots were very humanized and there were ethical dilemmas. If you can find copies for all the previous issues please do so.

Loved the pacing and the main character. Good start
