it's already an all-time great series
The Man of Steel and the Dark Knight have arrived at the compound of Niles Caulder-the Chief in charge of that strange band of misfits known as the Doom Patrol-but all is not as it seems. While Batman works with Niles to cure Superman of his freakish transformations, a side mission to track a mysterious figure known as "the Demon" attracts the Dark Knight's attention...and moreover, it could have some connection to Superman's poisoning at the hands of Metallo! It's danger, intrigue, and the surprise appearance of Deadman in chapter two of World's Finest!
I feel like this is one of those legendary runs that will be talked about for quite some time. Read Full Review
Batman Superman World's Finest is pure fun. It's a fun ride from start to finish and the only knock is it's way too quick a read. I'd sign up yesterday for a Waid/Mora vintage style Justice League book. For now, it's fine to sit back and enjoy one of the best titles DC is putting out each month. Read Full Review
Batman/Superman: Worlds Finest #2 is phenomenal. This is very much like two comics in one, as the first issues story bleeds into this one before the real plot takes over. This overlapping of the stories between issues creates a longing to keep reading. Read Full Review
Overall. A fun read and thus far a fairly strong team-up story for DCs two most popular heroes. Read Full Review
Batman/Superman: World's Finest #2 is fun. It's a hell of a lot of fun. The series is quickly becoming a favorite of mine with an energy that makes reading the comic enjoyable. It's a reminder that comics can be fun and entertaining and succeed without a dark cloud hanging over every aspect. It's a ray of light that's been missed and needed. Read Full Review
Batman/Superman: World's Finest #2 is an excellent follow-up issue that builds the story with moments that play on the reader's emotions. More heroes of the DCU make their way into this book which is fantastic as it is titled World's Finest, but we get plenty of extra heroes. The time travel part was a little unbelievable, but I won't get too hung up on it for the stake of the story. The issue serves as a good setup that drives you to continue this adventure. I am enjoying the spark of hope that Mark, Dan, and Tamra are bringing to the DCU. Read Full Review
Batman/Superman: World's Finest #2 takes everything that worked about the first issue and builds on it. Then, it takes everything that wasn't right in the first issue and corrects it. This is a perfect example of classic superhero storytelling and a highly recommended pick for anyone that wants to remember why they liked reading superhero comics. Read Full Review

Batman/Superman: World's Finest #2 is just pure fun. Mark Waid and Dan Mora are doing a wonderful job using the DC Universe to tell an story around Batman and Superman you are fully invested in. Add in the scene stealing moments with Robin and Supergirl, Batman/Superman: World's Finest is truly a series all DC Comics' fans should be reading. Read Full Review
Underwhelming villain and potential cultural insensitivity aside, World's Finest #2 is a celebration of the weird and wonderful in the DC Universe. Mark Waid, Dan Mora, and Tamra Bonvillain get to play with all of the toys in this 84 year old sandbox, and this book has everything from blockbuster fight scenes to quick-witted one-liners and banter and the Robin/Supergirl dynamic is especially entertaining. Waid delivers a "101 lesson in classic superheroing that manages to not feel too "paint by numbers and still being smart and funny along the way. Definitely worth the coin if you need your Batman/Superman fix. Pick up Batman/Superman: World's Finest #2 ASAP! Read Full Review
The second issue of this series is strong and fun, but it's not as good as I think it could be. The comic rambles a little bit, and perhaps the creative team put a bit too much in one issue. But the artwork is beautiful, and when the writing works, it works! Read Full Review
Batman and Superman fans will all find something to enjoy about BATMAN/SUPERMAN: WORLDS FINEST #2 as a new adventure unfolds! Read Full Review
With the introduction of Supergirl, Batman Superman World's Finest #2 also begins a B-story sending Kara and Robin back in time to learn more about an immortal ancient Chinese warlord known as The Devil Nezha who has some connection to current events (but I'll admit being a bit confused by it all). There's obviously some tension between the two younger heroes, that isn't explained, but makes for some fun back-and-forth. Read Full Review

This is stellar, what a beautiful comic book.
Great art, great story. I love it.
Mike W. Barr’s Detective run was “dated” in its time hut ended up becoming a cult classic. Even Morrison cited it as a huge inspiration.
This is that… now. Waid is an amazing writer. He is as woke as woke can get but he doesn’t let that get in the way of telling a timeless Batman/Superman epic.
Keep it up. Don’t give Dan Mora any fill-ins. Delay it if you need to! Mora is also awesome.
Excellent delivery
Totally bonkers in a way comic book fans will love! Let’s get Waid and Mora on Justice League STAT!
Waid 😍 Mora 😍..10/10
You just have to read it. It speaks for itself. It's Saturday morning cartoons on a beautifully illustrated page. Almost nothing better out right now.
Now THIS is a comic book!
come on guys, it's a Waid Mora combo. how can you not like this? 😏
A blockbuster comic through and through.
Mark Waid's been waiting for him and I desperately want him to do a run on DOOM PATROL.
Loved the first issue but wasn't planning on reading the series going forward. Then I bought issue two because of the gorgeous Tim Sale variant cover. Now I'm hooked.
So fun.
An absolute blast. Waid and Mora are such a perfect combo.
I had to check the date while reading this comic, I thought I was in the 60's with how Silver Age this was. I am a huge fan of Morrison's DP, but the classic Arnold Drake team fits so well! Supergirl breaking the time barrier might seem jarring at first, but once you embrace the super-dickery of the 60's antics it's extremely hard not to have fun. Bravo Waid and Mora!
Great followup to a strong first issue.
Waid and Mora have captured lightning in a bottle. The art is on point, and the story is well plotted. The script is great, capturing the iconic personalities of these characters. Kudos to all.
A few comments:
I would dearly like to see a Mark Waid Doom Patrol series, based on the portrayal in this series.
I'm not sure exactly when this takes place. It's tough to tell which Robin this is. It's doesn't appear to be Damian, based on personality. The best fit would be Dick, given the back and forth with Supergirl. The thing is, I don't much care. This comic was enjoyable, and I'm looking forward to what happens next.
Really enjoyed this fun and entertaining issue right now. Good art as well.
This series put's a smile on my face.
This comic oozes silver age style and a big part of that is thanks to Dan Mora. His work is vibrant, energetic and most importantly, fun to look at. He's able to take a basic expository scene and turn it into something interesting and unique, which makes for a better than average information dump.
Waid is having a lot of fun here too. So many of the little interactions, like the ones featuring Niles Caulder and Batman or Supergirl and Robin, are just a delight to read. My one slight criticism is that the plot is a bit thin, favoring style over substance, but that's a minor quibble when the total package is this much fun.
Dc just straight up. More comics like this. Thank you, and to comic writers...... mark waid showed you how to just write a good comic and keep most of your politics on twitter and off the pages.
i like the first issue more due to how bombastic it was but this is still a very fun issue. the art is stellar and the team-up between two heroes (not batman and superman, another two i wont spoil) was unexpected and a blast to read.
Not as great as issue one, but still a very fun read. I hope the stuff with Supergirl and Robin picks up a little, as I felt it drag the issue down a bit.
Not bad. Issue #1 was a little more exciting but this provided a good time for us. It seems to take place in Dick Grayson's later days as Robin. Pretty close to where the original World's finest ended, with the many numerous reality alterations between still made. All-in-all I was pretty pleased. We need more comics like this in this unstable age we live in. I expect the next several issues to also be as entertaining as these first couple have been. This series is only 2 issues in and shows more promise than any team-up series in years.
a bit exposition heavy.
not as enjoyable as the first issue.
