Dont wait for the trade to enjoy this story. Waiting for each episode is a big part of the tension that is building. I can only assume that this talented team will continue to crush the rest of the story and the conclusion in the near future. Read Full Review

King and Gerard manage to deliver another stellar issue. Theyve reached a level of sympatico that only the best creative teams have. They perfectly balance mundane with the fantastic in this series, while also making readers question everything theyve just read. The enigma of what is real in the book is a fabulous way to keep readers on the edge of their seats and theyve completely nailed the characterization of every character in the book. Mister Miracle is the kind of comic that only comes around rarely. Its such a perfect encapsulation of everything that can be done with comics and its a book that will be talked about for years to come. This issue further cements it as one of the best books out right now and King and Gerard as a premier storytelling unit. Read Full Review

This series continues to be a delight and continues moving in unexpected directions. While I'm not sure I agree with Entertainment Weekly that it's the best comic on the stands, it is certainly near the top and is definitely a unique reading experience. Read Full Review

I've loved this series so far even when it has left me scratching my head. This issue though feels like a one-shot you could hand to anyone who has had a kid or expecting and they can relate to it in some way. A fantastic issue overall that had me laughing and is full of quirky heart. For a series that has been so solid, this issue stands out as the best so far. Read Full Review

The dialogue between the two New Gods was so natural and well written that once again you forget that these are fantasy beings made up for comic books. Read Full Review

While the first arc began with near-death, the second starts on the cusp of new life, which makes for some dynamite juxtaposition. Despite this difference, the series retains its wry and sardonic tone as it marries comedy and almost-tragedy. Read Full Review

This anxiety filled child birth issue of Mister Mircle sucked me in from start to finish. It just casually takes readers through big event to big event. As with the previous issues, I can't wait to see what happens next. Read Full Review

I love this series so much. You know when you just know shit is going to be good? This is by far my favorite iteration of Barda and Scott Free. The risks and unique approach to the New Gods lore by Tom King and Mitch Gerads is how you transform and pay homage to the characters and creators before you. Read Full Review

This wasn't the most eventful episode of this series, but this felt like a fitting time to cool down and make a big moment out of an intimate milestone in the lives of Mister Miracle, Big Barda…and even the Furies. Read Full Review

Mister Miracle continues to just deliver great stuff. This is a wonderful moment for longtime fans of these characters to see them moving forward as they are with something new instead of running in place. King makes it heartwarming, funny, and a little tense along the way as well though it never felt like there was a real risk here, which I actually appreciate. Read Full Review

Comic Crusaders - Brax

Imagine a comic book that is set almost entirely in a hospital room; it's about a mother giving birth and a father bearing witness. Aside from the birth itself, the only other real action here is choosing a name for the baby " a hilarious process that once again underscores Tom King's wizardry with the written word. Tom King shows that he can write the hell out of a couple having a baby, Mitch Gerads continues to show he is one of the best artists in comics and I was bored the whole time. I am beyond just wanting answers to what is going on, I need something to keep my interest through an entire issue and sadly, I didn't find that here. Read Full Review
