While the title robot doesn'ttechnicallyappear, he has a very strongpresence.It takes some top notch writing to accomplish that. I have a feeling this could be the Marvel event to surpass Civil War. Of course, Fear Itself also had an amazing start, but we saw where that went. I don't have too muchskepticismhowever, this is an Ultron story after all. Nine issues to go people, the fun is just getting started.

For people that want more zombie action after the recently finished Rebel Blood, looking for undead stuff other than The Walking Dead, or just looking for a good comic with zombies in it, you'll definitely want to give the first issue of Deadworld: War of the Dead a go.

“GODZILLA IN HELL” is off to an intriguing start. We're not given any reason why G has entered the Lake of Fire, and I suppose that's the mystery which will be looked at in coming issues. So I won't count this unanswered question a negative. No human characters offers a fresh change of pace, since I think everyone has wondered what a Godzilla moviewould be like with no humans. Stokoe's art easily engages the reader from start to finish. What we have could very well go down as the most unique Godzilla tale of them all.

Overall, a fantastic comic. The writing, art, and battles are all A+. Godzilla: Cataclysm has turned into one of the most memorable Godzilla comics. With the exciting cliffhanger, it might go down as the most memorable.

Overall, this was a really great issue of Rulers of Earth. There's some fantastic, even gritty monster action. Some fans were disappointed when Showa Gigan was replaced with his Milliemum design, but I can tell you that Final Wars Gigan doesn't disappoint. He actually steals the spotlight from almost everyone! Orga is a welcome addition, and looks pretty cool throughout. With a great ending, it doesn't look like Rulers of Earth will be slowing down anytime soon.

Overall, a fantastic issue. The battles are a lot of fun, and the story moves along nicely. Lucy has an adequate amount of page-time, and hopefully she gets to shine in the next issue. It's great that Rulers of Earth will be continuing. After watching the new movie it's hard to think of something better to pick up.

While the ending pulls a bit of a duex ex machina since it's not really explained, it nonetheless provides a quality finish with finality and emotion.

This is definitely a comicI, and as fans should, look forward to everymonth. (A great companionto Season 3, wouldn't you agree?)

Power corrupts. That's the main thing about this episode. And Twilight using the magic of friendship. (That would be a cheesy thing in any other show, but not here.) It's a great episode all around. Trixie is a good character, and despite the ending, I'd very much like to see her again. Zecora gets a role, which is always nice. And of course Twilight is the main focus, and she uses a spell summoning a Parasprite, so there's always that.

Overall, My Little Ponyhas done it again. I was smiling and laughing the whole way through. You get a lot of content, it almost feels like you're readingtwo comics for the price of one. For fans of the show, iteasilycapturesthe characters and makes for more fun adventures. For new readers, the dialogue is funny and a true ‘all-ages' title, I'm willing to bet that this series will make more fans! Another incredible installment, I haven't been this excited for a comic on a monthly basis in awhile, long live the Ponies! (And Optimus Prime makes a cameo, so there's always that.)

Overall, ‘Reflections' ends beautifully. All the parts come together nicely for a very satisfying conclusion. While much of the focus is on the Celestias and Sombra, each of the ponies get adequate page-time. The writing is at its finest; the scene where Celestia tells Twilight that the latter will make a great ruler of Equestria was amazingly done. Sadly the Mane 6 didn't run into their counterparts, a truly wasted opportunity. (The backup, while funny. doesn't make up for it.) Nonetheless, you'll want to pick up ‘Reflections' in trade if you for some reason haven't been reading, it's fantastic.

Overall, My Little Pony's latest adventure ends with a satisfying conclusion. All the characters have great lines and it's just a really fun story. Hopefully Trixie and Babs will be back soon!

Overall, one of the best MLP comics yet. The story is engaging, which is of course mainly due to Katie Cook's incredible writing, which is then complemented by Andy Price's fantastic art. By now I shouldn't have to say this, but if you haven't been reading this series, it's time to do so!

Overall, ‘Siege'begins out with an excellent opener. The writing is engaging, funny, and doesn't start to drag at any point in the slightest. Fans of the Queen could be disappointed, but I don't think it will hamper the enjoyment. If the ending is any indication, we'll have the greatest MLP event since “Reflections.”

Overall, MLP #40 provides a great story of how the close friendship between Twilight and Spike came to be. It's also a nice look at Twilight as a filly. (Plus we get to see more of her parents.) The art is fantastic, probably Brenda Hickey's best work. Aside from a continuity error, (it's not big enough to take away the perfect score) the issue is a superb read and one all MLP fans should check out.

Overall, Pathfinder #2 is one blast of a comic. It's not meantto convey any themes or anything, it's just a fun World of Warcraftlike story. That doesn't mean it's just some mindless action thing, cause that's the wrong idea. It's smart, it's pretty much what you want to read after a long day. With this issue, I can safely recommend Pathfinder as a grade A title.

Overall, Robyn Hood vs. Red Riding Hood delivers exactly what we want to see, an epic showdown between the two. Thewritingis great, as is the pacing. Don't think it's an empty crossover or cash-in, it's a quality comic that new and old readers will enjoy. It's definitely the best Zenescope comic I've read. I'll be looking forward to Wanted and hopefully they'll give Red Riding Hood a new series too.

Overall, this is definitely a great start to this event. If you want to see these characters again with the popular Borg as the threat, you'll definitely want to pick this up. The writing is smart, and c'mon, it's Next Gen with the Borg, not much else can get better than that.

Overall, Transfusion #1 is one of those surprise new #1s on the stands. It has such quality, you feel like you're getting the most for your $3.99. Intriguing backdrop, great writing, interesting premise, (vampires vs. robots!) and most all, an engaging story. I cannot recommend Transfusion #1 enough, it's one of the best comics this week, give it a shot.

Overall, another utterlyfantastic issue of Transfusion, easily the best comic I've read this week. It's a truly unique series, one that I encourage all to check out. The writing and art are both triple A plus, the robots have a great design, and it's Vampires vs. Robots. I cannot recommend this series enough, the only sad thing is that it's going to be way too short-lived, since it's ending with its third installment in two months. (If this doesn't deservea movie adaption, I don't know what does.)

Overall, another fun comic. G's battle against the onslaught of Mechagodzillas was a blast to watch. The Cryog leader is emerging as an engaging antagonist. While the aliens weren't bad in the first arc, when they were on screen I just wanted to see the next monster scene. Now I actually look forward to reading this guy's dialogue in-between the grand action. Rulers of Earth continues to be a highlight every month.

Overall, Katie Cook and Andy Price deliver an exciting and funny adventure. Seeing Applejack and Rarity collide with their different mindsets will never get old. The ending is a little sudden, somewhat choppy. Still it's an unexpected surprise, since by now we've learned to expect the unexpected with Cook's humorous writing! The issue also features a short backup written by Katie. It's a fun little story that kids especially will like.

Overall, a great issue of Friends Forever. The buddy cop style works with MLP, hopefully it'll be used again in the future. The mystery of who's making the fires will keep you engaged from beginning to end. Even if there wasn't a mystery, the dialogue between Luna and Spike is worth the price of admission alone.

Overall, a great conclusion to "Root of the Problem." While Aspen's character suffers a little, the deers in general are very good. Blackthorn steals the show every panel he's in. The ponies themselves don't actually do much as oppose to just talking, but that's okay since they're here to assist, not be the main stars. I'm going to miss the deers and the Everfree Forest, but at least we have wrestling coming up!

Overall, “Siege of the Crystal Empire” continues with such grandeur. It's the most epic Pony event since Reflections, and everything is coming together nicely. The story does incredible world-building, and it's just a blast to read.

Overall, Clone #2 demonstrates how to continue the story and keeping the reader invested. There's a surprising amount of answers to Issue #1′s questions, but there's also some interesting new developments. Foss continues to be the best character, and Patrick is still a pretty solid antagonist. With a pretty awesomeending, you can bet I'll be back for Issue #3. (And the fact that this series is $2.99 an issue is a great bonus.)

Overall, Clone #3 is another fantastic issue. We get some really good dialogue with Luke and Patrick, the vice president, and pretty cool scenes with Foss. I'm not sure how this series will be over ten issues with how fast the story is going, but I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes. Looking for something unique to read? Give Clone a shot.

Overall, another great issue of Clone. It could very well be the best series you aren't reading, so I'd correct that. This issue takes a break making things mysterious and instead goes all out with the action. There's some great twists later on, some really shocking stuff you're going to have to see to believe. You need to be reading Clone.

Overall, it looks like we have another great mini-series from Image. I love these kind of storylines where the heroes have basically lost and are trying to survive. Add in these giant robotic dragon things, we have a pretty good comic in our hands. Plus Maya is a nice focus, isn't generic, and I wouldn't mind reading stories with her for awhile. Of coursethis being a mini-series, only four issues. So it's not even a huge investment on your part, all the more reason to pick up Issue #1 of what could be one of the best mini-series of the year.

Overall, while not the super fantastic five star closure I was expecting, still a fine issue. We got some pretty great writing, (aside from the Kesselfiasco) the dialogue between Maya and the chief was very good. We got a little giant monster action, and a rather nice ending. If you haven't been reading Debris, I strongly recommend you give the trade paperback a shot when it releases.

So get this book. You need to be reading it. Hickman's playing the long game with this series and the payoff is bound to be immense. It's a Hickman book. You can bank on it. Hickman ain't no Charles Keating.

Overall, GODZILLA #8 is what I would call a Godzilla comic. The writing is strong, stronger than it has ever been. Big things happen with the humans, and there's plenty of monster action. Godzilla is portrayed wonderfully, and the long awaited invasion of the space monsters has begun, and it's awesome. This is a great setup issue with some payoff. You can count me extremely excited for what comes next, the final arc of this series looks to be one of the best!

Overall, GODZILLA #10 is plain awesome. This is what the readers have beenwaitingfor. It successfully captures the dread of the word ending, plus it has plenty of monster action. The art is great, the monsters take center stage, and there's a lot of “Aww yeah” moments throughout. By the end, you're all set for #11. Now this is Godzilla, folks. This is what the King of the Monsters is all about.

Overall, the second best issue of the GODZILLAOngoing. (Next to the previous installment.) There's not too much to say at this point, the series isdeliveringeverything we've been wanting. The fights are spaced out well enough, (the SpaceGodzilla one might have been a tad shorter than what it should have been, considering the fact that Battra is on par with Godzilla in thiscontinuity)and it's just fun. And to top it off, there's a pretty awesome and shocking homage to a certain scene from one of the movies, jaws will drop.You're truly missing out if you aren't picking up GODZILLA, it's officially now the most awesome thing on the stands.

Overall, another epic issue. The climax in the Ongoing has been nothing short of spectacular. Big things happen here, it's nonstop monster action with some heavy tension and suspense. It is a good day to be a Godzilla fan. Issue #13 is sure to be a wild ride.

Overall, Godzilla's second issue into Hell is an engaging read from beginning to end. If Alex Ross is the painter of superheroes, Eggleton is the painter of giant monsters. Every page is fantastic to look at. Truly, the art is a masterpiece. The issue still presents the story in rather vague terms, and feels like we're almost getting something half the price of $4 since the issue can literally be read in less than eight minutes. Still, as a Godzilla fan, this is a must-have.

Overall, a good start to The Half Century War. It's great how they're using Godzilla's original attack as the backdrop. While the writing leaves a little to be desired, it isn't cringe worthy like some of the earlier Kingdom of Monsters issues. We also get the best drawn Godzilla ever, this mini-series has a lot of potential.

Overall, this is one of the best Godzilla comics IDW has released thus far. It understands Godzilla, gives a fierce/tough Anguirus, and contains a highly detailed fight. Not to mention it has a likable main character. I eagerly await the next issue with the Smog Monster, Hedorah. This will definitely be the series I recommend to people that have never read a Godzilla comic.

Lots of satisfying monster action, (including some whom are their first appearance in the comic world!) and the humans are pretty fun for the most part. Stokoe really understands what Godzilla is and just how powerful he and his kaiju brethren are, it's good to see these guys being the unstoppable things they are. (Which the Ongoing doesn't seem to get.) While not as good as Issue #2, #3 of the Half Century War is another great comic featuring some of the coolest monsters in existence. (Andif a comic can make even Megalon cool, you know you have a winner.)

Overall, the Half CenturyWar once again doesn't fail to be a great comic both longtime Godzilla fans and new readers could enjoy. The King hasn't been written like this since Gangsters and Goliaths, another great mini-series. We get to see Spacegodzilla use his his rather odd powers, such as telekinesis on Godzilla, the battle doesn't disappoint. Even Mechagodzilla gets some great page-time, fighting Godzilla and even helping out in the final battle. Oh, and the ending is truly cool, a nice homage to one of the films. You can bet the final issue of the Half Century Warwill be a fine closure to this epic mini-series.

Overall, this was an extremely enjoyable comic. It's light, but retains a good story. The fight between Godzilla and Destoroyah is utterly fantastic, and Mothra adds to it with such a beautiful look Frank perfectly captures. With Varan appearing next month, the wait is going to be pretty tough.

Overall, another great issue of The Lone Ranger. The story is engaging right from the start, (and it's a violent one) and the writing is fantastic. If no one thinks the Ranger and Tonto are as good characters as Superman or Iron Man, they should givr this issue a read. You should consider putting it on your pull list, there are very few comics like The Lone Ranger.

Overall, MASKS #2 is a great follow up to the perfectfirst issue. It continues to be a very fun story starring these characters while at the same time making the reader think. As some people are getting led out to be hanged, one cries out “They mean to murder us!” Then a trooper replies “It ain't murder if it's the law doing it.” So basically if the law says murder is okay, guess what? It's not a crime. It's trulya great dynamic and one of the reasons why MASKS is being such a good read.

Overall, a great installment of MASKS. The plots moves with some veryinterestingdevelopment. Plus Zorro finally appears, which is a treat. These pulp heroes are quickly rising up to becoming all star comic characters, you should be reading this event.

Overall, MASKS ends on a high note. The dialogue is fantastic, each character gets to have a word in pertaining to their diverse personalities. The Clock was a solid antagonist and in the end, it leaves you wanting more. If you didn't check it out, be sure to look it up, MASKS is one of the best crossovers out there.

Overall, the My Little Pony Annual is a great comic. It's a must-read especially for people that saw the movie. (And if you haven't, I'd recommend doing so.) Twilight doesn't appear, which was admittedly disappointing. But it doesn't hurt the story, you get a fantastic book worthy of your $8. Now I personally wouldn't mind an ongoing Equestria Girls comic!

Overall, this is definitely the best Micro-Series issue yet. Rarity might not be the fan favorite Pony, but I canguaranteeyou'll have a deeperappreciationfor her after reading this comic. The writing is top notch and the art is always a blast to look at. Let's not forget to mention all the wonderfulreferencesand cameos for fans to see.

Overall, My Little Pony continues to be the best all-ages title and one of the best overall on the stands. Sometimes after a long day you just want to sit back and enjoy a smart and funny comic, this series is that and much more. Here we see more of QueenChrysalisand it's a blast to see the Mane 6′s pairings. I'll be looking forward to the (sadly delayed) fourth installment which isthe final part in the Return of Queen Chrysalis story.

Overall, a fine conclusion to the first arc of the My Little Pony Ongoing. From this point on Twilight and Queen Chrysalis will be known as sworn enemies. And I don't how many other readers havenoticedit, but lately there has been thismysteriousbackground pony. Later in the issue as the Mane 6 talk to Princess Celestia you see this thing lone in the background, this is about the third time. Mysterious and creepy pony aside, I'm looking forward to seeing what the Ongoing has in store. IDW has a very good thing on the stands, I hope to see this series for a long time.

Overall, another great issue of My Little Pony. Not only will it make you smile, it's also a really engaging read for its epic story. Rarity has never been written better. Fluttershy gets some of the funniest lines, and Shadowfright is a pretty cool antagonist. Not to mention that Luna is getting a lot of great page-time in this arc. With the insane ending, it's going to be a long wait until Issue #7.

Overall, ‘Reflections' continues to be the most intriguing My Little Pony story yet. By the end, it could very well be the best. The writing is great, it's a serious tale but packs a lot of great humor. If you aren't reading this arc, then what are you reading?

Overall, a very solid start to the mystery. Trixie fans will definitely want to pick this up; her role is great. The setting and character choices are truly unique. If you enjoyed ‘MMMystery on the Friendship Express ,' you will love this comic.

Overall, this was was a surprisingly fun issue. The pets, especially Angel, are a lot to watch as they execute the bunny's plan to rescue their owners. Sadly, while the antagonist was a pretty cool creation, the ending is just rushed. The direction it went in wasn't necessarily bad, it's just that it happens way too fast. Still, if you like the pets this is your comic!

Overall, a solid conclusion. While I would have liked to see more of Sheriff Applejack and perhaps a less comical story, it's nonetheless another fantastic read from beginning to end.

Overall, Night of the Apples ends on a high note. It features fun action and dialogue as we see the ponies become vampire versions of themselves. Flutterbat makes her big comeback from the episode “BATS.” The ending features some of the best dialogue from any MLP comic to date. The Apples themselves were more on the annoying side, but the issue was definitely great nonetheless.

Overall, a great start to this rather intriguing mini-series. There's so much happening, I'm not sure how it could all be contained into just four issues. The main character is pretty interesting, but really it's the world around him that's the engaging part. The Non-Humans are pretty cool, with many of them being actual characters in the story. For just $2.99, it's better than a lot of the $3.99 comics you see on the stands. Based on everything I've said, I hope I'veencouraged you to give this issue a shot, it's worth the read, as I'm sure the next three issues will be.

Overall, Pathfinder #4 is an excellent issue all around. The journey continues with plenty of action that comes in the form of giant spiders and devilish goblins. We also get a new, very good and cool character. (She even has an awesome giant dog creature as a pet.) Pathfinder continues to be the best fantasy title on the stands, easily one of the most recommended of comics.

Overall, a funconclusionto the first epic arc of Pathfinder. The battle with Mother is satisfying and it also sets things up nicely for the next story. People should be checking out this series if they like anything fantasy and great characters.

Overall, with huge plot development and great characters, Robyn Hood: Wanted #2 is a winner. Avella is a highlight, with a great rivalry between her and the title character being established. There's some really tense scenes in Nottingham, and Gisborne is proving to be a good antagonist. Wanted is a great read, it has something for everyone.

Overall, Hive #2 plays out like you're watching part two of an episode, and that's a good thing. The story is engaging, especially for longtime fans. Character portrayals are top notch, and the writing is very good. This is definitely theStar Trek series to check out.

Overall, Stumptown V2 #1 surprised and impressed. It has a great story, which is deeper than it sounds. Dex is the best main character I've seen in a long time, she's someone whom you can enjoy reading. This comic will get overlooked when it releases Wednesday due to it being under the radar when compared to the bigger known titles, and that will be a mistake on the buyer's part, it shouldn't be missed. It's a refreshing story. I looked forward to seeing what writer Greg Ruckahas in store for this series.

Overall, Issue #1 of Snake of Iron comes really recommended. The writing is great, the story is simple yet engaging, and just a great comic overall. I may have to take out my old Lone Ranger DVD now, reading this has gotten me in a Lone Ranger mood.

Overall, Rageof the Dinobots #1 is a fantastic start to this mini-series. It's exciting, part of the show's continuity, and no humans. (That's always a plus.) The writing is very good, plus we all could use a little more Shockwave to hold us over until Season 3, so there's always that. If you're a fan of Transformers Prime, there is no reason why you shouldn't pick this comic up.

Overall, this is by far the best Regeneration One comic yet and one of the bestTransformers comic I've ever read. The Optimus/Megatron battle is obviously the main reason why it's so good, it delivers everything you want. It's the end of an era. I'm a little surprised by the outcome, I'm not quite sure how the series will continue now, we shall soon see. Even if you haven't been reading Regeneration One, this is still a comic to pick up, it's going to go down one as one of the iconics

Overall, this issue of Regeneration One was just great. It brings back all of the major plots, almost everyone gets some page-time. There are many fantastic moments throughout, such as Grimlock's big descision. What's amazing also is that this issue proves you don't need Optimus to make a good Transformers comic, he doesn't make a single appearance in this one. I'll be eagerly looking forward to the next installment.

Overall, another great installment in the Regeneration One saga. The battle between Grimlock and Scorponok isamazinglydone with a veryunforeseenending. Galvatron and Starsctream are back in the game and when you think about it, the plots that's going to be connected will be insane since it's almost like a domino effect. Overall, a great issue of Regeneration One. All of the plots are coming together nicely. There's some good action on Cybetron and Soundwave fans will be pleased with his appearance. Blaster gets some nice scenes in too, and finally Optimus has a chat with Spike and Earth's survivors. I'm going to miss this status quo when it's over, but for now lets enjoy the epic things that are about to take place.

Overall, I was genuinely surprised by how good this issue was. Spike being a central character in anything usually doesn't end well, but Friends Forever #3 is a pretty great comic. Princess Celestia makes for a really compelling protagonist, no comic writer has written her quite like this before. So fans of the Princess will definitely want to pick this up.

Overall, the sixth issue of Friends Forever contains a very fun story. This is Trixie's first big comic book apperance, and it's a great one. It shows that she can work as a solid protagonist instead of a stuck-up antagonist. Fans of the Diamond Dogs (if they have any) will be rather disappointed by their portrayal. Why is it that only Jim seems competent? Nonetheless, there's no real reason not to buy this comic.

Overall, the Abe Sapien series is off to a good start. The story is slowlyestablishedwith quite a few things being hinted at. Vampires look to be in the mix. Abe is easily one of the best characters of the B.P.R.D. universe, I'll be looking forward to the next installment.

Overall, AGE OF ULTRON continues to be a very intriguing event. This issue does answer some questions, but also provides even more build-up. Sadly the title robot doesn't make an appearance, this must change in the next one. There's a pretty surprising casualty and the ending will get you thinking. The next installment should be hopefully the big one.

Overall, another solid issue in the AGE OF ULTRON event. It's not action heavy and once again the title robot does not appear, which may put off some people. I found it to be quite an engaging read however. There's a certain desperateness with the heroes, you can see and feel it. With the plan to get Ultron in motion, I am however expecting these next five issues to be filled with excitementand Ultron action. The ball is in Marvel's court, we've had five issues building up to this point, it's time todeliver.

Overall, a solid issue of B.P.R.D. It's not quite as awesome as the first part of A Cold Day in Hell, but it's still fun. Giarcco is an enjoyablecharacterand the dialogue is often funny. The action is good…and the only thing really hurting the comic is the lack of the main antagonist, but you should be reading the series nonetheless.

Overall, B.P.R.D. continues full speed ahead with asolidopening issue of Wasteland. It's good to see the team working together in a rathergrimenvironment. If you aren't picking up this title, I highly encourage you give it ashotwith this comic.

Overall, Before Watchmen: Rorschach #1 is a worthy title with the Watchmen name. It's a little disappointing if you're expecting revelations from Rorschach and the Watchmen world around him, but if you want simply a Rorschach mystery, this comic will satisfy.

Overall, a very good third installment. We get some intense action, Rawhide makes his move, and is another solid story with the title character. Rorschachfans should be reading this comic. Despite being more of a general story than a personal one, it's a fun tale in the Watchmen universe starring the best (opinion of course) character.

Overall, the third installment of Chasing the Dead is pretty engaging. Some parts feel a little rushed, but it still remains one of the most intense mini-series currently on the stands.

Overall, a disappointing conclusion to War of the Dead. It doesn't really end. If there's no sequel, you're going to feel a littlecheated since the story is not resolved. The majority of the main characters do not get an adequate ending, really only Donna is given development. Still, it's a very good issue, don't get me wrong. Just not the satisfying conclusion I was expecting.

Overall, another great issue of Debris. Maya continues to be one of the best female main characters currently incomics. Not to mention the cool Umbra monsters and interesting ending. I'm sad to see it go next issue, it's been a fun ride.

Overall, a truly great comic for longtime fans of the monster. It's a rather simple story about a creature whom has awakened realizing his plot to destroy himself had failed, but finding he is in good company. Of course, things just can't work out for this guy, as you'll see in the ending. So go ahead fans of Universal Monster movies, the book, or if you're looking to read about Frankensteinwithout having readthe old book, give Alive, Alive! #2 a read.

Overall, IDW's GODZILLA goes out nicely. I can't say these past few issues made up for the average earlier issues, but in the end it's a good enough story featuring the most awesome monsters in history. This issue has Keizer Ghidorah, the most powerful of Ghidorahs, take on Godzilla for a very climatic fight. With a cool appearance by Rodan, there's plenty to like. I can't say I was ever impressed with Boxer during these past 12 issues, and his ending here didn't help matters. But, it's still a solid read.

Overall, a solid second issue. The story continues to be engaging and thankfully introduces a few intriguing plot points turning away from the generic aspects of the first issue.The fight between Godzilla and Biollante is great with an added sense of grittiness not seen in other G comics. So far the only character who is mildly interesting is Hiroshi, hopefully that changes in the next issue.

Overall, a great finisher to the Half Century War saga. I'm disappointed we'll no longer be seeing this version of Godzilla, it was the best portrayal of G IDW has given us. The fights in this comic are fantastic, and…Dimension Tide, the black hole shooter from Godzilla vs. Megaguirus, is used. The ending is awesome, andaltogetherthis will make one killer trade paperback for any fan, or if you want to introduce someone to Godzilla through the comic medium. Either way, The Half Century War will never be forgotten.

Overall, Rulers Earth starts out nicely with everything we love about Godzilla. The fun atmosphere will be sure to appeal to everyone, and there's some really good monster action. Zilla, love or hate him, has never looked better. With a classic subplot straight out of one of the movies coming, it's safe to say this series is going to get big. And not to mention some of the Easter Eggs fans will pick up, such as a model of the Gotengo and a pic of Gorosaurus. Godzilla is back with what looks to be his best comic series yet.

Overall, Rulers of Earth #2 is the definitely the most fun comic you'll read this week. The battle between Godzilla and Zilla is amazingly done. Since it's pretty much one-sided, you're going to wonder how it was pulled off, but it's handled very well. Characters are a bit weak, but nothing bad. It's a fun story that can be enjoyed by all ages, Godzilla fans, and newcomers.

Overall, this is definitely an issue I especially see newcomers to the franchise liking a lot. It features plenty of soldier vs. kaiju action, which can either be a really dull or pretty cool thing. It's the latter, the story perfectly balances human dialogue and action. The plot is moving along nicely, with the the aliens taking center stage. With plenty of things being set up for coming issues, you can bet it's going to remain exciting. Next month: Dawn of Destoroyah!

Overall, another fun issue of Godzilla. Steven Woods might not be that great of a focus since he's reminding me too much of Boxer, but the action and story are good. The monsters have never looked so expressive, so hats off to Matt Frank. Jet Jaguar's big appearance doesn't disappoint, I can't wait to see more of him. (And it looks like we'll getting that in the next issue!) Volume 1 of this series just released too, so I recommend checking it out if you haven't been reading the book!

Overall, another very good read. The opening battle is fantastic and worth the price of admission alone. Lucy has become thebesthuman character of the series. Mechagodzilla does not disappoint, he has been very well worth the hype. Godzilla's role is attacking the city, which is disappointing since it's happened so much already in the past Ongoings. Still, one cannot deny the awesome final page and how horrible the wait is going to be until the next issue.

Overall, amidst some disappointments with the antagonist monsters, the 16th installment of Rulers of Earth is a fun comic. The battle is a mega highlight, which is mainly thanks to the fun tag team of Godzilla and Anguirus. The next issue starts a new arc, so now would be a good time to jump on if you haven't been reading!

Overall, this is a pretty good jumping on point for the Green Hornet. Old and new fans will enjoy it. It's a fun, Batman-like story but with a Spidey-like tone. Definitely a recommended pickup.

Overall, a surprising very good issue of Green Hornet. The title character doesn't exactly do much, butit doesn't matter since, I can't believe I'm saying this, Scowlis a much more engaging focus. (Not to mention the very cool armor.) It's not quite clear what the future is for this series thanks to the inconclusiveending, but if Green Hornet can be like this from now on, it will become a series I can start recommending.

Overall, a rather random but fun installment in Green Hornet: Legacy. The main thing accomplished is the debut of Doctor Creepy, who hopefully will be an actual memorable antagonist. If you're looking for a less traditional Hornet story, (basically the opposite of Mark Waid's current run) you should hop aboard Legacy.

Overall, GRIMM #1 is a fine opening comic. Non-watchers of the show shouldn't hesitate to jump in. It's a fun fantasy with a good protagonist and story. And who knows, you might even want to check out the show after reading.

Overall, OZ is off to a solid start, The story is done in a whole new way while paying respect to the original. With a fantastic antagonist, I'm looking forward to seeing Dorothy's adventure once again.

Dredd has turned into an actual character, a pretty cool protagonist if I say so myself. Judge Anderson is a great character to have in this book, I hope she remains part of it in the coming issues. With Judge Dredd #2, you can count me excited for the coming issues.

Overall, JUDGE DREDD #4 is a good read. I'm really liking this series, it's very different than a lot of comics out there. And after watching the film, I like it even more. The only thing it could use is more of a set plot, but it's still a good read. At this rate it might just become one of IDW's best properties.

Overall, MASKS's penultimate issue is a solid one. It brings everything to the table, lots of fantastic dialogue. Sadly a few characters, such as Zorro and Black Bat, are underused, a problem I had a feeling would face the series. It's nothing major of course, and doesn't distract from the story. The conclusion is up next, Ihopeyou'll be there.

Overall, a fun start to ‘Worlds Collide.' New fans will of course enjoy it, but older gamers such as myself will have a blast with it too. These two universe work so welltogether.iIt's going to be one fun crossover. Plus…it's Sonic and Mega Man, in the same comic, fighting it out. If that's not reason alone to pick it up, I don't know what is.

Overall, after a few issues of nothing happening, the fourth installment gives us some new developments. My interest for the story is renewed, which is mainly thanks to the final sequence in the comic.

Overall, this is the most important issue since #1. That is mainly thanks to the MAJOR plot development. The flashback with Dane was interesting and keeps you engaged for throughout the story. By the ending, you're left wanting the next issue. Just remember…NO ONE IS INNOCENT.

The art is pretty strong once again, with the highlight being the veryfirst page. It's just stunning, so a tip of the hat to artistRodin Esquejo. Both the cover and variant are pretty good, with the former one being more striking in terms of the story. The most interesting part is the dialogue between Elle's mom and the doctor. It's all vague stuff, but interesting nonetheless. Hopefully we'll get a big payoff soon. The ending also is something readers whom have been reading since squareone will find intriguing.Overall, a pretty strong issue of Mind the Gap. The writing is at its strongest, some really intense stuff going on. Technically not really much is revealed, but it grabs your attention and doesn't let it waver. And it's not a bad way to jump on if you've missed the first five issues, things look to get more intense as Mind the Gap continues.

Overall, another solid installment of Mind the Gap. Nothing really changes anything, but it's still an interesting read. We get some great dialogue from Hoodie, and some of Elle's friends and family get great page-time. Of course, seven issues in, we don't know who Hoodie is and why her mom wants her dead. The story has not run stale yet, but I'm not quite sure how much steam it can keep shooting past Issue #10, we'll see.

Overall, another solid issue of Mind the Gap. Obviously the highlight is seeing Elle's mom. Why does she want her daughter dead? Why is the father there too? Why is the doctor involved? This issue asks some more questions but doesn'tdeliverany questions, and if #9 isn't especially revelatory, the series could take a major score hit.

At its core it's about friendship (friendship is magic after all) and showing us how great of a character Twilight is. It's a great standalone tale that you can revisit again and again. We get to see Rainbow at her strongest, giving all she gas against theGremlins One might question why Princess Celestia wasn't aware of something happening to Ponyville for 28 days, but I digress. MLP fans will like this comic.

Overall, the Princess Celestia one-shot is definitely one of the better Micro-Series issues. While it would have been nice to get a story challenging the Princess or revolve more around her, it's nonetheless filled with heart and in the end features a good plot with plenty of great backstory and flashbacks.

Overall, a solid issue. Despite the focuses being perhaps the most annoying duo in the show, (actually, they're probably better than Snips & Snails) the story runs very smoothly. Most people aren't fans of Diamond and Spoon, and this issue won't likely change any minds. Still, it's a nice look at the friendship the two have. Almost all the other characters are great, from Prancy Drew to the Crusaders. Surprisingly this will go down as one of the more notable “Friends Forever” issues.

Overall, Issue 20 of Friends Forever offers some excellent writing and a fine message to end on. Luna has one of her best comic appearances yet. Sadly, Discord fans might be disappointed with his portrayal. Still, this was a very good, humorous read from beginning to end.

Overall, this was a very fun conclusion to Big Mac's story. It's entertaining and unique. (Want to see a panel with Mac having an arm wrestle with Princess Celestia?) It shows just how much heart the team puts into the story and art, I hope they'll be on My Little Pony for a long time.

Overall, this was a very interesting issue of My Little Pony. It's really cool how it tells a story taking place in the past that has a direct relationship to something major in present day. Some might be irked that Shining Armor isn't like his current portrayal, but I personally didn't mind. Plus, you'll see how a certain background pony gets her cutie mark, pretty awesome scene that I have to give a round of applause to the team for including it. (For some, it'll be the the scene that makes the comic!)

Overall, Issue #12 ends the flashback story between Cadence and Shining Armor nicely. Now we'll forever know how the two got together. There's humor on every page, (look out for Batman and Teen Titans references) and is just a blast to read. Of course, you'll be ready for a new Mane 6 adventure afterward. Not that those two are tiring, but just as with all flashbacks, eventually you want to see the story move forward. Next month: Pirates!

Overall, Issue 16 of MLP is definitely a better read than its previous installment. I'm still disappointed with the turn of events regarding the Bookworm, he would have been so much cooler as a beast. Sadly, despite being quite an interesting character, the Queen sadly didn't get to do much, same with Daring Do. But despite all of that, the comic still earns a nice enough rating due to being really fun. Seriously, nothing beats ponies…in space!

Overall, another great issue of Non-Humans. With just two issues to go, the story is moving pretty quickly, but not too quickly that the characters lack development. Aimes gets some pretty good backstory, and there's quite a few unexpected twists. Plus, when you see how the antagonist in the end connects with Aimes, you're going to be like, "Wow"that's very good." Non-Humans is easily becoming one of the best mini-series from Image.

Overall, the first issue of Pathfider is everything you want as a beginning to a fantasty epic. A middle-world like backdrop, fun characters, and goblins, lots of goblins. The actual plot hasn't really begun, this is a prologue of sorts. Fans of the franchise or not and fantasy people will definitely want to give the comic a go.

Overall, Robyn Hood is a mini-series you should be reading. It's connected to the Grimm Fairy Tales universe, but you don't have know anything beforehand, you can read it on its own. A fun story background, funny dialogue thanks to good writing, and a fantastic main character. The second issue establishes Robyn in what looks to be her permanent setting for this series. The next issue takes places a year later, so these past two issues were mainly setup. I'll be looking forward to #3.

Overall, another great issue of Robyn Hood. We see her firmly establishedas an outlaw in Sherwood Forest, but hasn't forgotten about wanting to get back home. There isn't much time for character developmentfor the Merry Men, only Little John and Will Scarlet get some. It doesn't distractfrom the issue, and by the end, we're all set for Robyn to establish the revolution.

Overall, another great issue of Robyn Hood. We see her and the Merry Men head off for the tournament. Robyn takes on Guy of Gisbourne, a great fight accompanied by very good dialogue. By the end, you're all set for the conclusion. This has been by far one of the best ‘modern takes' on a classic.

The Hollows are mindless creatures sadly, which makes sense for this kind of story. The art is hit or miss, it fits the story well, aside from some rather sketchy scenes. All in all, THE HOLLOWS #1 is a comic to check out, lots of content for the price tag. (And I think manga readers will get a kick out of it.)

Overall, GODZILLA IN HELLcontinues to be the strangest thing related to the King of Monsters ever. We finally understand why G's been sent to the underworld, and quite an opening act it was. What happens afterward takes the story to some strange corners as the angels are portrayed as almost as antagonistic as the demons, which is a grave shame. Still, it shall be interesting to see what happens next month.

Overall, Cataclysm has a solid start. Not many surprising things happen; it unfolds just as you would expect it to. The concept is quite engaging, it's just that it has been played with a lot in the past. The characters aren't bad, and the monsters are pretty exciting to watch. The art is a little bland, or rather the choice of coloring. Still, Cataclysm is a good comic for both old and longtime fans.

Overall, Rulers of Earth #10 was a solid comic. It develops the story a bit, with the last page being very interesting. The fight between Godzilla and the Gargantuas doesn't disappoint. I didn't like certain aspects, but nonetheless it's one of the more fun comics you can pick up this week.

Overall, Tirek's issue is solid read from beginning to end. It's gives backstory to a great villain. Though, the way it ends makes the reader wish it were graphic novel size, because the writing makes the reader want to read what happens afterward when he overthrows the kingdom. In essence, it feels incomplete with the knowledge that there's no second part The significance of the pony isn't properly explained unfortunately, as well as his bizarre Luna-like appearance. (Basically, if the Princess was a stallion.) Still, if you enjoyed ‘Twilight's Kingdom' and are a fan of Tirek, pick up this comic.

Overall, this is definitely the biggest issue of AGE OF ULTRON yet, which is thanks to the controversial ending. Without the latter, then there wouldn't be too much to say about the comic. Ultron doesn't appear yet again, and we're halfway through. For two years we've waiting for his big return, so in that this event is turning into a disappointment. Still, things havechangedand the next issue will be very intriguing.

Overall, a pretty solid opener to this vampire themed mini-series. If the ending is anyindication,we can expect some vampire slaying Buffy style in the coming issues.

Like I said, Furious wants to take the big thematic bite. I'm just worried that it will start choking as it tries to digest it, having chewed far too quickly before swallowing. And yet a big theme can make the dinner party if served just right. Glass and Santos know how to craft comics, their work on Mice Templar proves that without a doubt. But even the best chefs sometimes over-salt a new recipe before they get it right.

Overall, the sixth installment in the GODZILLA ongoing is taking the series in a new direction. While you may be disappointed with howvague things are explained, it's still a pretty solid issue. We get a vision of what's to come, (and they are big things my friend, big things) Mothra gets her long overdue appearance, and the Shobijinget their say. Things are about to get really exciting, next month can't get here soon enough!

Overall, GODZILLA IN HELL #4 is a relatively simple comic…and that's the problem. It's supposed to be in-linewith the previous three issues, but comes off as confusing. It's a battle, and nothing really surrounding it. Still, it's fun since the characters involved are these guys. And I have to give credit for the story delivering one of the most intense scenes I've ever seen in anything Godzilla related. (If that was in a movie, it would be quite a “whoa” moment.) Hopefully the conclusion can somehow tie all this madness together.

Overall, GODZILLA: OBLIVION starts out with an interesting first issue. It's not the greatest G comic and that's due to average characters and the artwork being more on the mixed side. Still, the concept is executed nicely, makings sure it's interesting enough to bring back the reader. Whether or not this will be as good as any of the prior mini-series remains to be seen.

Overall, while not quite as ‘wow' as the previous issue, #5 is pretty fun. The fight doesn't disappoint, though the outcome might. Lucy is proving to be just as good as a protagonist as Steven Woods, I'm looking forward to seeing more with her. The Gargantuas also get to appear, somehow their appearance works in-between all the madness While the story doesn't actually develop much, it's still a solid issue.

Overall, Issue #8 is solid. The fight between Godzilla and Biollante is really fun despite the rather anti-climatic ending to it. The Devonians have become petty good antagonists for the book. Sadly it isn't the ‘big' issue the description would have you believe. Jet Jaguar at least has some fun scenes, despite what people might say I think he's a great addition to the story. So while not the best issue, it's still a good read.

Overall, Rulers of Earth #9 is a solid issue It sadly isn't the standout story from the past you're probably expecting. The ‘new' monsters don't really do anything, but the King Caesar/Megalon fight was handled pretty well. While not the best issue, it's another solid one furthering the story. And it was nice to finally see Mothra Island in comic format.

Overall, the thirty-third installment of the Green Hornet is a pretty solid read. Granted, it's not as good as the previous issue, but it's still on the right track. The confrontation with the Hornet and Frown Prince is one of the most powerful moments of the entire series. With the cliffhanger last page, we'll see if this new arc continues to be solid.

Overall, a pretty solid first issue of Godstorm. It may be lacking the god part, but it's pretty much a setup for things to come. It looks to be a fun four issue series, definitely worth a pick-up. (Especially if you enjoyed Clash of the Titans, whether it be the original or remake.)

Overall, Godstorm #3 delivers some good stuff. We finally get a ‘godly battle,' which is accompanied by very good writing. We see Julian make a choice, which could be overturned due to the ending. We even get an appearance from the three-headed Hell Hound, Cerberus. You can count me excited for next month's conclusion. I'm not quite sure how it'll go without being rushed, but either way, I'm looking forward to it.

Overall, a fine conclusion to Godstorm. Zeus, one of the better characters, gets plenty of page-time. While Julian was pretty unlikable throughout, we do have the return of the Three-Headed Hell Hound Cerberus, so there's always that. Plus The Being unveils himself with great dialogue and brutality. (Sadly his design is just a bit on thegenericside.) I look forward to seeing what comes next.

I was personally shocked, and it shows that the comics can do anything, which is cool. So, while I wouldn't consider this the best Micro-Series issue, it's still a fun read and it feels like double the content. (There's even a fun little short story after written by Cook.)

Overall, Friends Forever starts with cheerful but disappointing story. I was expecting a tale of two ponies, showing us what their friendship means even in a contest where they are against each other. We got none of that. Still, it isn't bad. Toffee House was a cute character and Marine Sandwich was a pretty cheesy/funny ‘antagonist.' But, the fact that the comic sold itself as a battle between Applejack and Pinkie Pie hurts the overall experience a bit.

Overall, a pretty fun issue. It doesn't quite come close to Part One, it feels rushed. It does however bring in the famous mereponies for the first time, which was neat. The plot twist was admittedly unexpected, but too sudden. The ending moral about love was nice though. And you'll never forget the day ponies took on a giant crab.

Overall, sadly this issue of MLP was plagued with writing problems. Granted, while it will hinder some of the enjoyment for hardcore fans, (seriously, just like that they stop being friends?) it's still a very entertaining read with a lot of fun plot points thanks to them jumping from book world to book world. Daring Do doesn't disappoint, hopefully she'll have a nice large role in the next issue. This new Princess appeared out of nowhere, but with a cool design and good dialogue, she may end up going somewhere. So while fun, this issue of MLP is one of the weaker ones writing wise.

Overall, the conclusion to “Ponyville Days” lacks the fun of the first installment while furthering the sad state of the town. Still, it's an entertaining read as we see Twilight go from character to character in hopes of getting them to cooperate. Next up, “Night of the Apples!” (Not joking!)

Overall, Retrovirus is done like a movie. It starts out with a pretty exciting prologue, establishesthe main character, gets her in the main setting, then the story-changing plot twist which leads to the action. Everything is pretty well contained in the seventythree pages, and for $13, it's a pretty solid deal.

Overall, the third installment of Storm Dogs asks more questions than give us answers. The actual story is getting a bit muddled, and the characters are having little to nocharacterization On top of that, while the dialogue is good, by now there should be some alien action. There's a bit of that here, so I hope to see more in Issue #4. I think this series will read better in trade format.

Overall, a pretty good issue of Super Dinosaur. Not quite as good as the previous few, but it continues the story at a nice pace. With a great cliffhanger, I await the next issue with anticipation. (Spinosaurues, that's the stuff.)

Overall, a pretty important issue in this arc. We get to see the full extent of the Exile's plan as he explains pretty much everything. We get to see more of his home, which was pretty interesting. Dialogue ranges from good to sub-par, but for the most part, we have another solid issue of Super Dinosaur. By the end, you're left eagerly awaiting the next installment.

Overall, a fun conclusion to the story. It's packed with loads of action and pretty good writing to back it up. And it looks like we won't be seeing the last of the Exile, which is a good thing. His story is too good to finish right now. This was definitely a very good arc of Super Dinosaur.

Overall, Thunderbolts #3 is an intriguing comic. It's definitely an improvement, in both writing and story. It's still not the 'great' series it should be, but I think it's getting there. I'm looking forward to every character's reaction to the crazy ending next issue.

Overall, an interesting but kind of uneventful issue. Things do happen, such as the Meganulon swarm, but it just feels dull. The characters aren't that engaging, and the other humans are pretty jarring. The lack of monster action greatly shows. Still, it deepens the backlstory and I'll be looking forward to reading the next installment.

Overall, Cataclysm ends with an exciting final battle, but the story itself is left unsatisfied. By the end, the reader is wondering…”So what now?” There's too much exposition crammed into this issue trying to make sense of everything that is happening. The characters are forgetful and besides Hiroshi, none play a vital role here. While Cataclysm is not the best Godzilla mini-series, it's still definitely worth a read.

Overall, a pretty light-hearted issue of Friends Forever. Jeremy Whitley for the most part writes a solid tale. (I will let slide that fact that he had Apple Bloom say “anyone” instead of “anypony” and “someone” instead of “somepony,” c'mon editing department!) Discord's first comic appearance is more lackluster than satisfying sadly. The Mane 6 have a nice role later on. So, what we have is a pretty standard MLP comic. If you like the Cutie Mark Crusaders, you'll probably like it.

Overall, this issue of Friends Forever features an interesting team-up with a good message somewhere in there. Sadly, some of the dialogue is just awful, ruining some of the good parts. It's still a fun comic for the most part, and on the plus side with a severe lack of Zecora in the season currently it's good to see her back in action here.

Overall, Night of the Apples gets off to an average start with a pretty awesome final act. It would be a lot better if these apple menaces were at least made to look a little intelligent. Still, the concept alone is worth checking out. Plus, Pinkie as an apple is too much fun.

I'm truly beginning to think this event is just using a popularAvengers'villain on thetitleto tell a story that's not about him, but about changing the Marvel Universe. With just threeissuesto go, I'm not sure anymore. It's kinda disappointing whenthehighlight of an event issue is seeing a TyrannosaurusRex attempt to chomp on the two heroes. I'm truly hoping thesefinalfew issues will squeeze in enough Ultron action to make up for all this.

Overall, the eighth Age of Ultron installment isn't exactly the worst issue, that'd be the previous one. It's just disappointing because the Ultron conflict is pushed to the side in favor of this alternate timeline thing. Sadly with just two issues left, it's pretty much too late to start delivering the reason why this story exists in the first place.

(Rodan vs. Titanosaurus, are you ready?!) Sadly monsters like Kumonga are offed in a few panels, so get ready for your inner kaiju to cry foul at making a bunch of hunters able to beat these guys. Well, it appears this series is improving somewhat, I eagerly await the next issue which could very well have the greatest battle in comics this year.

Overall, I'm sad to say that this is the most disappointing issue yet. The fight we're all waiting for is not even half the comic. Boxer is really getting on my nerves now, just a guy you want to punch. I'm sorry, his gruff demeanor has gone to the point where I can call him a jerk. (Maybe that was the purpose.) The forth issue in this series gets yet again the same rating, average.

Overall, another average issue. It wasn't bad, but sometimes this is barely a Godzilla story. The title monster literally has no purpose as he walks through Tokyo. We have another disappointing debut from a fan favorite monster. (Or rather robot.) In the end, nothing major was truly accomplished other than the ending where you're going to go, “The heck is she talking about?” It made me intrigued for the next issue. Let's when hope when Mothra comes next month things get better.

Overall, I'm very sad to say instead of going forward in quality, it went backward. Issue #6 was a really good one, but #7 is like #5, it doesn't feel like anything big happens. The stuff we want to see, (Mothra, the Cosmos, SpaceGodzilla) is not here, instead we have to watch a bunch of under-fleshedout characters try in vain to destroy Godzilla. I sincerely hope the next one will bring this series into what looks to be an exciting final act.

Overall, GODZILLA #9 is generally unexciting followup to the best issue in the series. The focus is set primarily on Boxer and friends with this horribly written old guy. The Space Monsters do get some fine destruction scenes, and Godzilla looks great. We also learn just exactly what Dr. Pohl's people had planned for the monsters on Monster Island. So this issue wasn't a total disappointment, but lacking. Still, the coming installments look to be the most epic things to grace the comics pages.

Overall, this wasn't one of the stronger issues of the series. The plot doesn't really go anywhere and Ebirah has a very mediocre debut. One could replace him with Gezora or Manda and it wouldn't have made a difference. The battle between SpaceGodzilla and Gigan does have some very cool (and brutal) scenes, but the rest of it isn't one of the better drawn fights. Still, it's a pretty enjoyable comic and gives is a glimpse of what's to come.

Overall, not a bad start to the new arc. With a fresh story and creative team, there's no reason to not jump in if you've been interested in this series. However, if you have no interest in the character whatsoever, there's really no reason to jump in. It's lacking elements that made the classic show fun to watch, it's also lacking a solid antagonist at the moment. It'll (hopefully) improve as it goes on. Still, the Hornet's dialogue sequence makes the comic.

Overall, another pretty average issue of Green Hornet. It felt like filler, it didn't feel like there was any type of major story going on. This series needs to pick upbefore I can fully recommend it.

Overall, this was an alright issue of the Micro-Series. It's not the writer's fault, I just don't find Spike engaging at all. Perhaps his fans will like it more.

Overall, a not bad, though not great issue of Fiendship is Magic. While definitely better than the Sirens story, it's generally just not eventful aside from the battle in the dream. The Nyx are interesting creatures, but are quickly put to the side. Plus, Nightmare takes over the moon rather too quickly, in basically a few panels. Still, if you like her a lot the comic is worth a read.

Overall, a pretty okay issue of Friends Forever. The beginning until the middle was admittedly not very good and without the payoff and Rainbow Dash's stellar portrayal the score would have been lower. The story by the end is heartwarming enough to earn a higher score.

I like a good story, but the main reason whyI'm reading this series is for the characters. I want to see them interact with each other, we don't even see what their first reactions are when they found out who they were working with. Thunderbolts so far has been a disappointingseries. (Which is surprising since I quite like some ofDaniel Way's work.) Sadlythe wonderful cast is being underutilized, I can only hope it starts to improve, otherwise I don't see it lasting after the 10th issue.

Overall, while not a bad comic, the Sirens' backstory ends up being pretty lackluster. They aren't as particular interesting as they are in Rainow Rocks. At least we see a young Star Swirl in action, despite his controversial move at the end.

Overall, despite 9 issues of buildup, AGE OF ULTRON #10 doesn't live up to the hype. It's horribly anti-climactic and for the title antagonist, he deserved more than his few pages of screen time. The secretive ending turned out to really be nothing other than saying “Look what's coming up in the Marvel universe!” Truthfully speaking, this will forever be known as the most disappointing event in Marvel history.

I guess you can say it's like The Walking Dead with giant monsters, just a heck lot more fun. Aside from the cliff-hangerish ending, this book is fantastic and I don't think I can laud it enough"Enormousis a book that really MUSTN'T shouldn't be missed!

Overall, at this point Age of Ultron is beyond repair. What should have been a really good issue is washed away with dialogue talking about what Pym should do about the Ultron situation. Supposedly the next one will be an ‘epic conclusion.' It's going to have to put a strong emphasis on ‘epic' if it's going to save the event.
