A worthy 5 star score for a inspiring story that shows traditional values and builds a foundation for the coming issues, this is the first time this book has appeared in English print and I am so glad it has, I am hooked and will definitely go down this rabbit hole to explore more.

The Fallen Empire carries on from where the main story left off with it's bloody intensity and deep story line that pulls you in with raw emotion. One of the best series and that's only after the first issue.

I enjoyed this story, it's relatability and rawness worked well giving a well balanced experience overall. A must read for sci fi fans and NBA fans to get a different side of a legend.

A blockbuster story which is steadily rocking the DC Universe. Top level writing from Williamson partners with the artistic talents of Porter and Hairsine to create a masterpiece. I'm looking forward to what is to come.

As a Blade Runner series this looks to be one of the best yet, if this is the final chapter we are in for an explosive end. This first issue perfectly lays the foundations for what is to come and my anticipation levels are at a all time high.

Blade Runner: Black Lotus' first issue lays excellent foundations for the miniseries ahead. It's a post apocalyptic thriller at its finest, I look forward to seeing how it evolves.

Another great issue, opening up the story and beginning to add the meat to the bones, this is definitely going to be a series that you need to watch in the coming months it's definitely going to be explosive.

This series has me hooked each issue has gripped me further into the dystopian world making me feel like I am living the story. An empowering story that is building to an exciting ending that I can't wait to get my hands on.

I am a huge fan of this series as it continues to grow it gets better and better, if you want emotion and action then look no further as this is one of the best comics out there right now.

If you are a fan of the game then you definitely need to pick this up, or even if you just like your stories with a scary twist then you'll not want to miss out on this. I would definitely put this in my top 5 this year.

Dark Crisis is an arc that has been building over the collected issues, at times the story does get a little fragmented with it's different off-shoots but now we are coming towards the finale this is proving to be an unmissable series.

Dark Crisis is one of my top series out of the DC Universe and The Dark Army is definitely one of my favourite arcs, it has everything I would want from a DC comic and more

Creatively perfect, simply put this arc is incredible and has the potential to rock the DC world to it's core. The writing is heart racing and the illustrations hypnotic.

An explosive issue which is easily my favourite of The Shadow War event. A story of epic magnitude which is clearly gearing towards an explosive ending.

Djinn Hunter is a series which continues to grown in strength in every issue lead to an explosive conclusion. The mystical illustrations and captivating writing will take the reader's imagination on a journey like never before, a definite recommendation for any fantasy fans.

A fantastical thrill ride with deep routed emotion, a story of broken hearts, revenge and fighting back from the very pit a story that captivates and inspires. Beautifully written and equally beautiful illustrations that will take you on a fantasy journey that you won't want to get off.

I enjoyed the opportunity to meet the big screen Flash in a more foundational story. Taking a step back and re-focussing on his story has me looking forward to watch comes next for the character.

A strong introduction to a story arc that has huge potential to rock the universe we know. A creative team that has come together to create something visually stunning and captivating.

A bit different from your normal Gotham story but so far I am definitely sold, I look forward to see what is coming next in issue #2.

Much like the old police shows I used to watch but with the added benefit of being based in Gotham, a fantastic overall book giving a fresh look at the dark world we love.

A definite 5 star score in fact if we had more to give I definitely would, this is some of Ridley's finest work and I have a feeling this story has only just begun, big things are about to happen in Gotham.

A series that I am fully invested in, a series that has been one of the most gripping I have read in recent times one day I would love to see this series come alive on the screen it seems it would be a perfect fit as a series on the streaming services. A great book that keeps getting better, I can't wait for the final issue.

Every page was mind blowing, an intense story the throws you in every direction and when you think it's over it throws you round some more. Really well written and illustrated comics brought together in an almost cinematic experience. Definitely a collection you don't want to miss.

A good follow on story for the Jet Jaguar story vein, a character that is relatively new to me but I am definitely enjoying the introduction so far. If you're after a larger than life action story with an undercurrent of emotion then I'd definitely recommend this as a pick up for your festive reading list.

A fantastic new horror series that may well become one of my favourites of this year, a read that will have you glued to the pages with chilling expectation, I am hooked on this series and can't wait for the next issue.

This is an arc that started strong and is gaining more strength as it moves on, a chilling horror that with hit you harder than most, a generic blueprint told in a far better way than I have ever seen.

A definite game changer, one of the best horrors in comics at the minute. Chillingly gripping every page.

A series I enjoyed more than I expected to, although I was looking forward to a standard hack and slash I was treat to a far deeper story that had a more deep rooted energy that captured my conscious and refused to let go. Without doubt one of the best series so far this year and well worth picking up, you won't be disappointed.

A series which disappoints. Home Sick Pilots is everything I want in a comic book. A perfect combination of intense writing and eye catching illustration. This is what comics were made for.

This series is my top comic series of the moment, it has it all excitement and emotion captivating and moving your emotions and imagination. This has been an exciting ride so far and I'm looking forward to see where this arc will go it looks like things are about to get darker and more intense, the next part of the story is looking like it will be the best part yet.

Straight up full marks for Home Sick Pilots this month. Without doubt the best story arc out there at the moment. I have enjoyed every issue so far and look forward to see where the creative team go next.

I'm hooked. I don't think this series could ever produce a bad book, from the first issue the comic has grown in strength, creating an iconic series that will stand the test of time. This is the comic I look our for and will be sorry to see it go but I'm looking forward to an epic ending.

There is no doubt that this is going to be a full mark score, an epic ending to an epic story. The whole series has been a favourite of mine since the first and now it is finished will definitely leave a gaping hole behind. The creative team involved have created one of the greatest series in comics and would love to see more come from this world, I've said it before and I'll repeat again it definitely warrants a TV series or even a film if any of the streaming sites would pick it up and the series has made me want to revisit my punk collection in more depth. If you haven't got involved then you most definitely need to grab one of the collected editions you won't be disappointed.

With Mighty Morphin #15, The Eltarian War arc continues to be a thrilling ride and one that I don't want to stop.

There could be no doubt that this is going to get a 5 rating. Mighty Morphin is, by far, the best series on the market right now. Every month the series keeps me coming back with jaw-dropping bombshells and masterpiece cliffhangers.

As always a solid top marks read, the change of writer has not altered the story whatsoever, they say you can't improve on perfection but this is pretty close.

After The Eltarian War I thought that there wouldn't be more stories to tell to come out of this multiverse and how wrong I was. This particular Mighty Morphin arc just seems to gather pace with each issue and I am back with the intense excitement waiting for the next issue.

Another intense, action-filled Rangers story that has left me ready for more. Both Mighty Morphin and Power Rangers continue showing the potential to develop yet another epic arc.

This issue is another masterpiece from the creative powers behind the Power Rangers multiverse, after 20 issues it still feels vibrant and fresh with each issue investing me further into the arc.

A story arc that keeps getting better. Each month when I finish Mighty Morphin I'm immediately waiting for the next issue to drop. Rangers fans, if you aren't already on board then now is the time!

As the Power Rangers franchise hurtles towards its 100th issue, Mighty Morphin is capping off a fascinating arc this month. We've followed the team through tough times and good and it's a constant reminder why this franchise is so beloved.

A strong end to the year with this issue laying the foundations for an amazing 2023 if this is anything to go by, Ryan Parrott doesn't disappoint and fans of both sides will enjoy this series.

An outstanding book that blew me away from the first page, the story is exilerating and the illustrations are mind blowing, if you were searching for the perfect comic then look no further as this is as perfect as you can get it.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Return #2 is an incredible second issue. It builds on the first issue yet more with exquisite storytelling and gorgeous artwork.

A well deserved 5 star score, an incredible story that is brought to life with intense artwork. A book that is typically DC giving the reader what they would expect and more.

The debut of Peacemaker Tries Hard! has definitely lead the groundwork for an exciting series to come. The creative team has hit the mark and I look forward to seeing more in the future.

If there were more than 5 stars available then I would award them. By far my favourite comic of 2021 and I am definitely excited to see what is to come for the Rangers in 2022.

There was going to be no doubt that this issue would get full marks (if I could give more I would) An incredible story with epic scale artwork, bringing together one of the best story arcs I have ever read. If you haven't yet got involved in this event you genuinely have to it is a story not to be missed, even if you're not a fan of Rangers it is something that would probably appeal to most readers that enjoy and epic action story arc and if you are a Rangers fan then it goes without saying you definitely don't want to miss this.

Awe inspiring and visually fantastic. The creative team has created a book which is continually breathtaking to read. Even if you aren't a Power Rangers fan you should be reading this!

I personally thought that The Eltarian War would be the peak of the stories from the Power Rangers multiverse, well I couldn't have been more wrong for The Eltarian War was essentially the start of the new era of Power Rangers and I for one am excited to see how the story arcs play out.

This series feels like something big is building, the anticipation of what is about to unfold is gripping me more and more, this definitely could become one of the Power Rangers story arcs yet.

Once again an incredible job by the creative team. Ryan Parrott and Marco Renna are powerhouses in the comic book game and having those names at the helm you just know you are in for epic level reading.

Once again a full mark score has to be given to this book, a creative masterpiece created by the best team in the business. A powerful and thought driven story that will leave you thinking about it in you head after you've finished, a great piece of writing that no Power Rangers fan should miss.

Full marks from me. Every month Power Rangers gets me more excited to see what it next. An incredible book from an incredible creative team.

This arc just gets better and no one does it better than Ryan Parrott, this issue sets the tone going into the conclusive next issue and has left me counting the seconds until release. If you haven't read this arc yet then you most definitely need to get catching up ready for issue #23, it's going to be epic.

A great introduction to a new series, a series that has the potential to grow into one of the best. With gaming legend Cliff Bleszinski driving the creativity I am positive the series is in great hands and I can't wait to see what is to come.

This is what looks to be another great series from Image Comics, an unlikely lead character where a dog is the hero, you may have seen feel good dog movies before or even read books but you've never quite come across a dog like Scrapper but I definitely want to. If you like your stories in a tense Sci-Fi world then you definitely need to grab yourself a copy of this.

Now the series has come into it's own, the hard hitting action packed story is coming to it's epic climax and you can't help but get behind Scrapper as he embarks on a David Vs Goliath battle that is most definitely something you've never seen before, but you must certainly see it this is the series not to be missed.

A great series that brought an even better ending. A series that at first glance I didn't expect to have such an intense story, one thing is definitely clear dogs can be superheroes too. Cliff Bleszinski's Midas touch works once again.

A full marks 5 stars is well deserved here, when a comic leaves you saying "wow when you finish reading you just know you have a masterpiece in your hand. An incredible job done by all the creative team.

A glorious return to the ultimate time of cartoon, the turtles go up against an old enemy but this time he has more power, this is going to be a tough challenge but one they are more than up to that challenge. A fun nostalgia read that will appeal to readers of all ages especially those that remember cartoon Saturdays.

This has to be a contender for my favourite comic series right now, it has everything you could want in a comic. When you finish the comic and you're left with a smile on your face it has to be good. Definitely recommend to all the family looking for an action packed story with a feel good vibe.

I'm really enjoying this trilogy story so far as it has a true traditional feel whilst giving a fresh feel to the comic. The story grows with tension as the time to stop Shredder is running out, at this point it doesn't look great for the Turtles.

Top marks. Not a combination I expected, but a combination I want more of all the same. A genius concept brought to fruition by a talented creative team, definitely one of the comics of the year.

Take a dark journey in to an already dark world. This story has more twists than a race track and will keep you guessing.

A story arc that has surprised me from the start. A comic out of my comfort zone but one I'm happy to have discovered. If you're not already playing D&D, this one may turn you on to the idea!

I really enjoyed this book alot more than I thought I originally would, it took me by surprise but most definitely in a good way. A blend of light hearted tale of discovery and action-packed hack and slash quest gave me a reading experience like no other. I would definitely recommend adding this to your collection, although this is available in both physical and digital I would recommend you pick up a physical copy as the artwork is definitely to be enjoyed in a physical form.

Just a standard full marks for this book again. The Scorched is the title that I always look for on launch date and it is always a day one read and for very good reason. Creative powerhouses have created an explosive monster that seems to be getting bigger and bigger, hold tight we are in for an explosive ride.

One of the strongest stories in comics at the moment keeps getting stronger, Jessica Priest is back with a furious blast and this isn't for the faint of heart.

The Spawn multiverse is going from strength to strength in recent times and it doesn't look like it Wil stop at any point soon and nor do I want it too, with strong talents within the creative team this engine is only going to gather strength. The Scorched is definitely one of my favourite comics and I'm looking forward to see where this new pathway will lead.

Another worthy 5 score, one of the best comic series out there right now, it brings everything to the table and isn't in the mood for questions, the time for the Scorched is beginning to run out, can they find a way in time?

The Scorched can literally do no wrong for me lately, from the very first issue to know feels as fresh and vibrant and hopefully the story arc will continue to progress in this manner. The Scorched almost feels like it's too big for comics and would fit perfect on the big screen – or even on the TV streaming services would definitely love to see it.

A much deserved five stars. Trial of the Amazons has everything: an empowering story; striking visuals and captivating characters.

A phenomenal collection of stories that will have you hooked from the start, if you haven't read Wildstorm before but maybe you're an anti-hero fan then you really need to get this into your collection.

Another great piece of writing from Todd McFarlane and his creative team, Gunslinger Spawn as a character grows in strength with each issue and I can't wait to see what's coming next, fully recommend any Spawn fan to get involved with this character series.

Gunslinger Spawn is looking set to be the outstanding series of the year. Each issue grows in depth and feeling creating the ultimate reading experience. A definite must have comic.

Gunslinger Spawn is a stand out comic series for 2022. The story works on every level, the writing is captivating and the illustrations are mind blowing all making for a premium comic title. As a story arc this is evolving into an arc not to be missed.

Once again another outstanding issue, a story arc that just gets better and I can't see it dropping off any time soon, you always get a top quality story from the multiverse when you feel you know what you're getting the bar gets raised and get surprised again, I am enjoying this ride of the multiverse and don't want to get off just yet.

Once again a full marks comic in series that continues to grow with each issue, in a multiverse containing so many strong characters Gunslinger stands head and shoulders above the rest.

A series that can't be faulted, each issue is a top mark production and definitely one of my favourite Spawn characters, I literally am excited to see how this arc progresses further, a definite must read for any Spawn fans.

There's no denying that I'm a big fan of the Spawn franchise. Gunslinger is one of, if not THE best on going series in comics this year. Todd McFarlane proves he is the Godfather of comics with the path the Spawn multiverse continues to take.

Another incredible issue, a story that is gathering pace with some of the best illustrations in comics at the moment, a strong series that is well worth picking up.

Without doubt a 5 star entry, I've loved this series from the start and look forward to see more from it. The battle of heaven and hell is one that is getting more intense as the issues pass, it has everything you could want from a comic and more.

I'm a big fan of the Spawn universe and can definitely say that Gunslinger Spawn has become my favourite out of them all, the series keeps bringing me everything I need in a comic, action packed tension in the story and mesmerising artwork that blows me away each time. The series is now 21 issues deep and has no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Starting to be a little predictable now but I just can't help giving Gunslinger full 5 every issue drags me deeper into this dramatic world and to be fair I never want to leave. This creative team have done it again produced a comic that will blow your mind, definitely recommended from me.

It must be getting predictable at this point what the score is going to be but I just can't give it any less that the full 5 stars the creative team behind it are the best in the industry and that is evident with what is on the pages. Gunslinger's journey is becoming a personal vendetta that no one should get in his way or you will no doubt experience the bloody wrath of the Hellspawn. A creative masterpiece that just needs to be witnessed, miss this and you're most definitely missing out.

A emotionally dark issue that shows a more personal side to the Gunslinger character and the reasons for why he is chasing this vengeance. As usual the Gunslinger Spawn titles are hard hitting and graphically amazing, you will not want to miss this.

Another enjoyable read albeit at a slower pace than normal but it definitely feels that this will be an important part of the ongoing story. This isn't your normal Spawn title but definitely well worth the time to read.

Issue-by-issue I'm getting more and more involved with King Spawn. Franchise fans will love the world building whilst casual readers have a lot to enjoy from the series action roots.

The continuation of a potentially epic story arc. King Spawn is a much welcomed piece of the Spawn puzzle. I am looking forward to seeing the story develops in future issues of this must-read series.

You may aswell times those stars by 3, an incredible series that just gets better with every issue. The creative team have created a monster and I am definitely along for the ride.

My favourite issue of the series to-date. King Spawn is the pinnacle of the Spawn Multiverse, so full of emotional depth and wonderful illustrations. A fantastic job by the creative team, leaving me waiting with bated beeath for the next issue.

There is no doubt to what score I will give this comic, I think from reading the review it was a dead cert that a full marks score would be given. As a Spawn fan I was sceptical at first when different stories began to appear, but I didn't need to worry as this King Spawn arc is only making the multiverse stronger and I excited to see what Sean and the rest of the creative team have planned. A definite recommendation from me.

A series which continually betters itself. Just when I though perfection was reached it gets better. King Spawn is a series from the Spawn multiverse that stands high above the rest, although it is a kind of spin off title it still feels very much central to the multiverse as a whole and I can't wait to see what's next.

At this point I think there is no way you can't give Spawn 5 star everything about the book is strong and with every issue passing it just gets stronger, although I am looking forward tocwhat I am sure will be an epic ending I don't want this arc to end and hope it will continue for a few more issues yet.

Well worthy of a 5 star score, like a fine wine this arc just gets better with time becoming an integral part of the Spawn multiverse.

Fantastic book with every page, the creative team have once again surpassed my expectations bringing a book that not only intrigues for what's next it also brings excitement for the remaining story arc. Fully recommend picking this issue up if you haven't already.

Intensity ramped up to the top level, the war for the Dead Zones is reaching boiling point setting us up for one of the biggest events in comics. A series you definitely can't miss, the creative team have taken the Spawn brand to new heights. A definite recommendation from me if you haven't picked it up yet you definitely need to.

Visually stunning, creatively perfect Sean Lewis and Javi Fernandez are at the top of their games this is how comics should be done.

The journey to Hell's Throne has captivated me beyond belief, each issue generates more and more interest for me and I am now at that point that the book is a definite day one read. The collected issues are available now if you haven't caught up but if you have you definitely need to, at the moment the Spawn multiverse are producing the best work in comics and I am pleased to be able to experience.

Another creative masterpiece from the creators of this series with each issue blowing me further and further away each time. As the story arc reaches it's conclusion we are still unaware who will succeed in reaching the Throne. The most exciting series I am reading right now.

The Race for Hell's Throne has been a series that I have thoroughly enjoyed, each book has gripped me and now we are getting to the climax we still can't see the outcome we hope good can prevail over evil but it's not looking good.

Spawn #326 is another outstanding effort from the creative team. The long-running series continues to grow with every issue and never fails to feel fresh and new.

Not as fast paced as the others but another great issue for the series which is definitely building us up for something massive, which I am definitely looking forward to see unfold.

A vibrant cat and mouse story that is building to epic conclusions. This is a standard Spawn story but elevated to epic levels.

This story arc keeps reinventing itself and evolving to stay fresh and intense, the creative team are the best in the business and it shows when a comic series is over 300 issues deep and still releasing 5 star comics. Spawn can only get better and better.

Once again the creative team have produced a gem, this book gave me everything I wanted, aggression and passion on every page. The creative team grows the arc from strength to strength, Spawn as a character continues to evolve and I can't wait to see what Rory has planned going forward.

Another top marks release from the best multiverse in comics. The creative team just carry on getting it right, perfected combination of gripping story and mind blowing artwork.

Without doubt an outstanding issue, wasn't sure what to expect with there being little mention of Spawn in the book but the book feels an essential part of the overall arc. For me Spawn is the best series in comics right now and it's easy to see why.

A series that keeps growing with strength with each issue, this arc is invigorating for the iconic brand and the future of the multiverse certainly looks exciting.

5 stars just doesn't do this book justice, it deserves alot more than that the story and illustrations are the best around at the moment the battle between Heaven and Hell is about to explode and I can't wait to witness the fall out. Image Comics are definitely producing some of the best work at the minute and I can't wait to see what comes next for Spawn.

Intensity in the bucket loads, the race for Hell's throne is on but who will finally sit on there. You may thing the end of this story is sewn up but others are in the wings to change all that. This series is hotting up to a level you can almost burn your fingers on the pages.

An event like no other, the race for Hell's Throne is at fever pitch but I'm getting the feeling what I thought was going to happen is about to be completely blown apart and I am definitely excited to see what's next.

The event we have been waiting for is here, Hell's Throne is close to having it's new King but we still don't know who but what we do know to get there won't be a game of draughts this will be a war like no other. Spawn fans you definitely can't miss this.

Incredible on every page. The finale this series is worthy of, some of the best work from the Image creative team. Spawn has always been one of my favourite comic books and this series has further cemented it's place as my favourite, creative writing at it's very best. If this doesn't get turned into a film or a series then it will be a crime it definitely deserves screen time.

When you wait for something to come for so long there is always that concern that it won't live up to the expectations. This issue exceeded every expectation that I had and then some. Unfortunately this is Ryan's last main story in the Ranger multiverse and what a way to go and I am sure his legacy in the world of Power Rangers will live on. This book is a piece of comic perfection and every Power Rangers fan needs to grab themselves a copy.

For me the Power Rangers multiverse is becoming faultless, every story arc that comes from it seems to bring a fresh tone to the story and keeping the overall feeling relevant. Something epic is building and so is my anticipation.

An incredible piece of creative work, an emotionally charged written story partnered with artwork that hits hard. If you are a Rangers fan you need to get involved with this series, it's starting strong and will only get stronger.

Another fine creation from an immensely talented creative force, after this issue I am excited for the future of this series.

A new threat is building in the background, new alliances are built that may not be trusted the Rangers need to have their wits about them. This arc is getting more intense with every issue, the Eltarian war was epic but this new threat could end up being even bigger.

This issue once again gave me everything I wanted from a Power Ranger comic, it has action on every page with an intense story that is building up to another epic event which looks to be the most explosive yet. Questions are beginning to be answered and things are becoming clear this series is set to be the most exciting yet.

Prepare to have your mind blown, this is some of the best creative work I have seen coming out of BOOM! Studios, elite levels of comic reading experience is to be had here a comic event that you just cannot miss.

Multiply this score by three to come somewhere near to my thoughts on this book, Melissa Flores heads a creative team that are producing their best work to bring us the event not to be missed in comics right now and I would go as far to say the event of the year. You must not miss this.

I will keep saying this, The Darkest Hour is possibly the best event in comics at the moment an edge of the seat rush that keeps the hope in your heart burning but at the same time plants that doubt in your mind. If you are a Power Rangers fan or even if you aren't you definitely need to get hold of this.

Another great issue from the Darkest Hour event that left me in literal chills, I have no idea how this will end but at the moment all I can see is hope diminishing fast. All Rangers fans need to get reading this story arc, it really is an incredible series.

An incredible event that is set to blow apart the whole Power Rangers universe, well written and well illustrated a creative masterpiece that's close to perfection.

Another 5 production from the creative team, the Darkest Hour is definitely an event that needs to be witnessed. If this is the benchmark for the rest of the year then other comic creatives will definitely have a tough job to reach these heights.

An expertly written, deep, dark story with hard hitting illustrations working together creating a masterpiece of storytelling. A dark almost supernatural tale that will appeal to horror readers around the globe. One thing for sure this story is not ready to slow down just yet.

A gripping and through provoking story which has absolutely blown my mind. The illustration will chill you to your very bones.

A chillingly graphic story that will grip you and take you deep within the pages. An exciting story that will have you on the edge of your seat with immersive storytelling and graphic detail, would definitely recommend to any horror fan.

A welcome return for a final chapter of one of my favourite books from the recent releases and I'm so glad it has returned strong, I feel sometimes a story can lose it's way or become more of a filler but Basilisk has no danger of this.

Basilisk continues to be a gripping story. Each month Cullen Bunn's unfolding mystery leaves the hairs standing up on the back of my neck. An undeniably compelling read from month-to-month.

At this point I feel that Basilisk is an automatic 5 rated book. Each issue continues to grow and evolve into a dark thrilling read that any horror fan would love to read. Cullen Bunn has created a horror masterpiece and long may this arc continue.

Another great issue from the One Bad Day series. Lanzing and Kelly's story surprised me at how much enjoyed the unique way it built up the character up. You might certainly find it harder to dislike the character after this tragic story.

Another great addition to the One Bad Day series, a story full of darkness and sorrow that highlights the darkness that flows through Bane's veins, a definite recommendation to any fan of the Gotham world.

By now the One Bad Day series is more or less a guaranteed 5 star production, the creative team are one of the collective best in the business and it shows. A series that just keeps getting better.

A tense, slow-building story which isn't afraid to pick up the pace when needed. I can't wait for more from the One Bad Day series.

If you like Miles Morales then you'll most definitely be a fan of this series, the light hearted feel really makes the reading experience enjoyable and one not to be missed.

A great story arc that is continuing to grow and move forward, a fresh story giving the DC world a well needed colourful rejuvenation.

A series that is just what the world needs to bring the fun back into our lives. The series is really beginning to take off and is now a series that I look forward to coming out, a definite must read series.

Power Rangers Universe is one event I have been looking forward to and I was not disappointed. Great writing and illustration make this a must read for franchise fans.

This is Power Rangers at its finest and looks to be getting better with every issue that passes. With one of the strongest creative teams out there at the moment this is a story arc that just needs to be read.

Whilst not my favourite of the series so far, what started out slowly still feels essential to the overall arc of the Power Rangers Universe series.

An outstanding story arc from the beginning to end, a creative masterpiece from a strong creative team. This story is a great addition to the multiverse and a must read for any Rangers fan.

Robin #12 is a deeply dark and emotional story. It's great to see one of my favourite DC characters hogging the limelight and Damian does it so well. A captivating read for DC fans.

Without doubt The Shadow War is my favourite story arc so far this year it perfectly jumps between issues blending together different veins of the story. A super arc which is changing the landscape of DC.

A fully deserved full marks score, if a comic could be perfect then this would be close to that mark, it gave me everything I wanted and more each character growing in depth with strength and emotional identity, a creative masterpiece.

This is the start of something special, with Shadow War Alpha #1 DC has the potential to change one corner of the DC Universe forever.

A great selection of shorter stories that adds more background detail to the overall main arc. Artistically spot on with a collection of stories that captured me further into the arc.

Rogue Sun is the comic book hero we have been waiting for. I was anxious to see what this book was all about but instantly Ryan Parrott's blistering story had me sold.

A great world-building issue for Dylan, developing him in to a more relatable character. With the creative team behind this book I have no doubt this series will go on to greatness.

The Rogue Sun arc is growing with a fast pace with each book that passes you just feel that it's leading onto something epic and being a fan of Ryan Parrott's previous work you just know that it will definitely be explosive.

Another great comic created by one of the best creative teams out there. A story that is deep with raw emotion and burning hatred. The ending issues look set to be the event certainly not to missed

Another strong comic from Ryan Parrott and his creative team. This first part of the arc is a strong introduction to the Rogue Sun character laying the foundations for an even stronger second part.

My new favourite superhero. A fantastic nostalgic feeling action packed thrill ride with a well written and deeper story, a great read that any action comic fan will enjoy.

A superhero comic with a difference. A great read with exciting undertones. This series is certainly building to something potentially huge.

The best way I can think to describe Blood Syndicate is a mix of Boyz in the Hood (my favourite film of all time) and The Boys.

If you enjoy your super heroes with a realistic, hard edge then Blood Syndicate is the series for you. In the vein of The Boys or the work of Spike Lee, this gritty urban aesthetic is a winning formula.

A new and exciting story arc that feels more gritty than Buffy ever has before. Casey Gilly appears to be pushing our favourite Slayer down a dark path which could change the multiverse as we know it.

A unique take on a well loved cult story, Buffy The Last Vampire is without doubt one of the best comic series of this year so far bringing all the emotion and suspense into the story giving the reader the ultimate reading experience. A definite recommendation to any Buffy fan.

Hard hitting, intense story that will have you gripped to each page. Brutal and dramatic artwork hits the mark, if this issue is anything to go by we are in for a treat for the rest of this series.

A vibrant comic with strong illustrations, the story is more deep than you would expect and certainly will become alot deeper as we continue. Conan is back strong with this new arc and I am ready for it.

One of the finest comics this year to-date. An action-packed, emotional twist on the DC Universe and an arc which is primed to explode with catastrophic consequences.

A powerful and raw story that is growing with each issue creating an arc that definitely can't be missed. An alternate world that will have you looking at Arkham in a different way than before.

A vibrant story that breathes new life into an iconic character, the creative team have somehow created a new monster out of The Joker making him more twisted and more evil than ever before, this is definitely going to be the series to look out for.

A book that is starting to expand into a chilling tale as Joker's plans come to fruition. The excitement of what is to come is at an all time high, this series is definitely one not to be missed.

A slow start but looks to have potential to become something quite epic, Gotham needs to get ready for what is on the way Punchline is looking to make a statement.

A story that is rapidly gathering pace, allowing each character to organically grow adding depth to the overall arc. Definitely one to look out for in the year to come, a must read 5 star comic for me one not to be missed.

Another powerful story from one of 2022's best new titles. Punchline: The Gotham Game is one to watch in 2023. An explosive title that has the potential to rock the DC Universe to its core.

Another great addition to an amazing arc that keeps getting better with each issue, Punchline is rapidly becoming my favourite villain in DC.

A promising story with a fresh feel and a different spin on a multiverse we know and love, a welcome addition to the Ranger World.

Ranger Academy is building its way up becoming strong series, the character of Sage is beginning to evolve and I am looking forward to see the progression. An interesting shift in pace that Ranger fans will enjoy.

The story is beginning to come into it's own as Sage begins to find the answers she's looking for but what does this mean for Sage? The book perfectly captures the emotions from Sage as she embarks on the biggest journey of her life in more ways than one. A unique story that is unlike the other Power Rangers stories but has the potential to become equally as important to hr multiverse itself.

A well deserved 5 verdict for this story arc as the story begins to flourish and the different twists come to the surface, what was once a straight forward origin style story could well become something completely different.

A solid introduction for this brand new series. The Bloody Dozen has all the hallmarks of what could be a blockbuster series in 2024. Issue #1 leaves you with the feeling that something is about to go horribly wrong for these characters, but you just don't know what it is yet…

An intriguing series that is beginning to take a dramatic twist. Definitely one of the series to watch in 2024

An emotional and empassioned story that builds the characters of Andros and Zhan and adds depth, if this one shot has anything to go by I'm interested to see what else is coming from the multiverse.

I am a fan of the Unlimited series of books and this Hyperforce looks as though it could well be my favourite yet with the enemies being as strong as they've ever been we need the strongest Rangers we have ever had and I think we may just have them here, I can't wait to see how this series unfolds.

A bit of a different story telling style but still feels like a Ranger story at it's core a good addition to the multiverse adding more new characters.

A great addition to the overall story arc that's building as the fight to defeat Dark Spectre begins to heat up, once again the creative team have brought out the big guns and supplied a great book that adds more meat to the solid bones of the main story.

At this point I am more or less expecting the comics from the Power Ranger multiverse to be a 5 production, yes I've set the bar high but I haven't yet been disappointed. When you put Ryan Parrott's name on a book you just know it's going to be epic. This series looks to be one to watch in 2024.

A deep story with fantastic illustrations. This book is a symphony for the eyes. From the foundations that have been laid this is definitely a story arc not to be missed.

The Radiant Black world is beginning to turn into an exciting multiverse of interlocking stories potentially creating something epic. The creative team have once again created an overall intense and full on reading experience and I'm looking forward to see how this develops.

A good addition to the multiverse of stories but also beginning to evolve into it's own stand out character. A thoughtful, action packed story arc definitely recommended.

A story that's been building from the start, this is going to be a big ending. An anti-hero story with many twists and turns, the creative team have done a great job in creating this offshoot from the Radiant series.

I have enjoyed following Satomi's journey and witnessing the growth of the character throughout these books. As a new story from a familiar multiverse, the Radiant world continues to evolve and grow into a full strength multiverse.

A mesmerising series that started off as a slow burner but reaching it's peak turned the comic completely on it's head, I personally enjoyed reading every issue and hope the creative team have more in the tank as I would love to read more from the MTG world.

A welcome return to Ravinca with a new exciting arc with new characters and new dangers. I am enjoying more and more being able to visually explore the MTG multiverse through the eyes of the creative team and long may it continue.

A comic series that I have waited many years for, having played the card game for years in my youth I was waiting to be able to visually see what I once imagined, it is fantastic that such a talented creative team have taken the idea and turned it into a true heavyweight in the comics.

A perfect piece of storytelling that captures the mind and takes you on a magical journey. The first arc was one of my favourites at the time and now this second arc is definitely becoming one too.

A mystical step inside the inner minds of the Planeswalkers, the arc is beginning to tie together to create an arc that goes deeper into the lore of the multiverse building to an epic conclusion.

A thrilling read that is gathering pace with every issue, this arc is what childhood me imagined when playing the card game and I am thrilled to be able to witness the growth of the multiverse.

An intense race against time to save the planes of the Magic universe, a great series that continues to evolve with every book. An intense series that really needs to be admired.

Another 5 star production from Jed Mackay and the creative team the different stories coming from the MTG multiverse have been some of the best comics I've read this year, if you are a fan of the MTG card games or even if you love fantasy you need to read this series.

Get ready for a MTG journey that is about to take a darker turn, a raw passionate story that isn't to be missed.

This new arc is building itself into something quire dramatic, as the story begins to unfold the intense chase becomes breathtaking and visually stunning, well worth picking up if you're a MTG fan.

A visual symphony with mystical writing creating a story that can't be missed, a piece of writing that will unlock your imagination and take you on a magic journey. Definitely a recommendation for any fan of the Magic world.

I give this issue a deserved top marks score. Incredible writing partnered with near-hypnotic artwork, it really is a series not to be missed!

A great issue as we follow the path to #150 the unfolding events are leading to an epic conclusion as the team race to catch Armaggon before it's too late.

A twisting and turning time travelling adventure that leaves you trying to piece together the different pathways at the end. The Turtles are going through a worrying time at the moment with the worry of getting the team back together and the ongoing threat of Armaggon this is definitely a dramatic story arc not to be missed.

Another great issue as the series hurtles towards #150 a dramatic race against time that will have your heart pumping as your eyes remain glued to the pages. This series is definitely not to be missed.

Consider me suitably chilled. Whilst Hunt for the Skinwalker #1 isn't the full production, it does incredibly in laying the groundwork for what is to come. I need to find out the intentions of these visitors, the waiting is killing me!!!!

Chillingly dark and thoroughly mystifying, a horrific story based on chilling real life events. As darkness descends on the Gorman Ranch can Tom and Ellen ride the storm? A question of how much fire there is left in the fight.

Hunt for the Skinwalker continues to grow, quickly becoming a story that lingers with the reader long after you put the book down. An intriguing paranormal thriller that keeps you questioning throughout. Easily recommended.

Explore a new sense of reality and go on a in depth journey into the surreal as we find out we are not alone in this world. A good overall series that gripped throughout, worth picking up if you're a fan of the unknown. Remember as the saying goes “The Truth is Out There”

A solid start to the Young Justice tie-in to the Dark Crisis event. A intriguing mystery which plays in to nostalgia for a bygone era of comics. Playing with the idea of legacy, I'm intrigued to see how Dark Crisis: Young Justice will play in to the wider event.

A magical story with mesmerising visuals, I'm enjoying seeing the Finder character evolve and can't wait to see more as the series progresses.

As I said earlier in the review this felt like a foundation layer but it also felt like it was integral to the series and perfectly built the story up for what is to come, would fully recommend this series as I feel we are at the beginning of another big event

A gripping selection of stories, laying the foundation for Anjani's future. A wonderful addition to BOOM!'s MTG universe and, I hope, a sign of more to come.

A feel good comic with a colourful energy that appeals to readers young and old. Not award winning or mind blowing but certainly an enjoyable read.

A surprisingly gripping story with and deep and emotional undertone that I am looking forward to see how it all unfolds and comes together.

A story that is unexpectedly different but at the same time enjoyable, classical styling with comedy moments allowing for an all round enjoyable experience.

It's certainly not the most hard hitting story I've read but The Giant Kokju definitely hits the mark for me, it's tongue in cheek trashy comedy makes me smile throughout. Some great visuals really do highlight the struggles of a modern monster, although probably not the best book to be reading on the bus.

Overall a good bit of comic fun, has all the action you'd want from a comic mixed with a bit of gutter humour, if like me you have that sense of humour then this series is right up your street.

The first issue in what looks to be another great series from Image Comics. A unique twist on the age old Heaven vs. Hell story which really works. Trust me, there is a lot more to come with this story.

Being a fan of the blockbuster hit I was excited to find out more behind the mask and riddles, this issue has laid the foundations for a strong series ahead.

A chillingly dark tale that chills you to the bone, it is bit slow to start but does pick up in pace. The illustrations are dark and doesn't leave alot untold, I am looking forward to see how the arc unfolds in the hope that it does gather pace.

A dark story arc that takes you into the deepest parts of the underground taking you on a psychological journey like no other. Captivating and thought provoking, an arc that stays with you even after you finish, wouldn't say the best bed time reading.

Terrifyingly dark tale that will grip you until the end, James Tynion IV is at his very best heading a creative masterpiece that will blow you away.

A solid start to this latest Titans arc, Cavan Scott has laid a set of foundations which has certainly left me wanting more. Can't wait for issue #2.

Mysterious opening issue, one which I'm not sure I fully grasp just yet. Nonetheless it's an intriguing story which I hope the following issues will begin to make clearer, developing the story further. As a fan of Wijngaard's work I was pleased to see him involved here.

The story has begun to open up now and has evolved into a story that is got me excited to see the next issues, it looks to be an epic ending that we were waiting for could well be on the horizon. I like it when a series changes your opinion as the series moves along and that is what is happening here.

A story that started slow but has started to reach it's peak, an epic story that has organically grown and built a level of anticipation that has left me excited to see the final issue.

I found the beginning of this new arc a little bit of a slow burner but reading between the lines there is definitely potential for the arc to evolve into something epic. A fresh perspective on a familiar world and one that I look forward to see more of.

A bit of a slow burn in terms of story but it definitely feels like a story worth sticking with, the foundations have been laid for something very interesting on the way.

A slightly disjointed story that did get a little lost. But I am hopeful the next issue will tie up any loose ends. Artwork was next level, the story seems to be more of a foundational layer rather than a groundbreaker.

A story that at first I didn't quite understand, I'm now enjoying and looking forward to the next issue. Frontiersman is fast becoming my favourite anti hero, definitely giving the reader a main character you can relate to, in a story full of twists and turns I am looking forward to see what the creative team have in store for out hero.

Overall I found Frontiersman a pleasure to read throughout this arc, although at first I wasn't sure I can safely say that thanks to the creative team involved I definitely have changed my mind and I am looking forward to see where we go with the next arc.

A good selection of short stories that bring the stories of veterans to the forefront of this generation, I felt the content could've had more realism but on the whole found the comic enjoyable.

The issue is a good collection of different stories that all have a different impact. My favourite would have to be The Cheeseburger, those black and white illustrations definitely make an impact.

A flashback to the golden-age of the 90s, it's Buffy meets Saved by the Bell. The fashion, the comedy but all tinged with that Buffy the Vampire Slayer horror and magic. Though not as dark as BOOM!'s regular Buffy seres, it's still a great way to celebrate a pop culture icon.

Whilst Harley Quinn Romances isn't your normal style of DC book, I enjoyed the one-off experience an twist on the universe. A good light, hearted read to discover some different perspectives.

A comic I feel will take maybe a couple of issues to get into gear but the foundations have certainly be laid, it will be a case of waiting to see what will come next hopefully it will build the story up more as the potential is definitely there.

I did enjoy the book in general but thought the pace was a bit slow and took it's time to get going. As I said earlier in the review I felt the book was more of a background building story rather than a stand alone possible off shoot title, but definitely added more depth to the characters we already knew.

I enjoyed the introduction to Monkey Meat and its expanding multiverse, a solid mix of dark corruption and comedy to keep an interesting story vibrant and engaging, I look forward to see what Juni Ba is bringing next.

An interesting view into the lives through the eyes of pets, a unique and new comic arc and something completely different, will be interesting to see where this will go and what the creative team have in store fir us the readers.

A unique concept and different approach to storytelling make this a new and interesting take on the thriller genre.

A new series with great potential. The Killer: Affairs of the State will definitely be a slow burner but one with the potential to expand in to something great.
