The premise seemed to have so much potential but this just kind of fell flat for me.

Loved it. Adorable, funny, and fun. Makes me want to go back and read the X-Babies stuff.

This is really impressive. Very different from anything out now. Very intriguing. Especially me being an IT nerd, there's some cool stuff here. Yes, it's a bit slow but some really good world building. Excellent first issue. I'm sold.

Wow. What a great series so far. I saw the reviews before I read this and was worried it wouldn't live up to the hype but let me tell you it did. Killer action with a "Wait, What? Holy Shit!" ending. Well played Mr. Cates, well played.

I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I really like the whole nostalgia thing coming out of this Convergence event, and this one was a good example.

I really enjoyed this issue. The jokes were meant to be silly. I thought it was cool to see the banter between Batman and Superman. Not taking themselves seriously for a change. Plus I like the whole new power thing. Different and new is a good thing. I'm usually not a fan of JRJR but I though he did a very good job with this one. My expectations were not really high for the writing so I was not disappointed at all. Not sure why so many poor reviews. To each his/her own I suppose.

Just great. Last couple issues were ok but this one was real cool to see some of the "origins". Such a fun book. I normally don't care for this genre but it's got me hooked with it's combination of fun, adventure, characters, cuteness, and humor.

I liked the art too. Got a little inconsistent at some parts but great in general. The story started out good but kind of seemed to go nowhere or at least nowhere unique or interesting. I will be reading more but not expecting whole lot.

This is my first experience with Luther Strode and I must say this was an awesome start. In fact, I went out and bought the TPB for the first Luther Strode book. I didn't really like Tradd Moore in his Ghost Rider run but I think his artwork in this one is excellent. Cool stuff. And, I'm really starting to like Justin Jordan a lot more due to Spread and now this.

Great issue. This and the last issue were really good. Before that I was getting a little worried that the series was getting boring but it's really picked up.

Really dug the art in this one. Very well done, great combo of cartoonish and realistic. Dialog a little weak but I'm digging the story. Overall I enjoyed this issue.

Such an underrated series. Art is phenomenal! I thought the dialog was great too. And story was also good. I think what may have been the problem is that Elektra just isn't that likable to me. Not sure what it is but just can't get behind her. Loved Blackman and Del Mundo. Overall great series.

Very solid issue. Kirk is killing it with these issues. The lead up to the end has been pretty action packed and exciting. I just hope the ending lives up to the hype.

I thought the art was very weak and the story + dialog also a bit weak. I'm sure it will pick up and the climax of this arc will be worth it.

Unexpectedly very good. Excellent first issue.

I read the series when it was on Monkeybrain so this rating is for the entire series.

Good art can't save the lame story

This series overall was great. Loved the premise, excited first few issues, cool art. But, the characters really didn't stick. Victoria started cool but I lost all interest. The same with Lucas. This issue in general was very weak. They should have just extended #14 with some of these missing pieces. I do like the twist at the end. 7 of this issue, 9 for the series.

A pretty weak ending to an awesome story. Galactus stripped his power but oh wait, he was just pretending? What!? I guess it's nice for a happy ending just kind of the same of crap from a book that is different. I love this series up to this "climax". Hopefully the next arc and climax will be better.

This book went from good to great with this issue.

It was good but Lemire seems to try to do his impression of the Fraction/Aja series. I like the story a lot but it stills seems like it would be better to get out of that shadow of the previous. Some of jokes seem to fall flat too.

Very complicated series. Issue #4 was the best one of the series and #5 just takes a different turn so to speak. This book is very hard to explain and maybe I'm just not smart enough to pick up everything without reading it 10 times in a row but it is a very intelligent and interesting book. The art is just phenomenal. The way I see it is I just think to myself "What the hell is going!?" but all I want is to find out.

I enjoyed. Good combo. The art is kind of a take it or leave but works well with the story. Not a completely unique story but still enjoyable.

Simply a hilarious and fun book.

This is a fun book! It's a breath of fresh air that doesn't take itself too seriously. Action, humor, mystery. This should have gotten better ratings from these pro "reviewers".

This was cool. I really like that the Stjepan Sejic Poison Ivy story.

This is such an underrated book. It's not the same old Batman stories (minus the regular Batman series which is awesome). This book seems to be an either love it or hate thing. I love it. I think the dark cartoony art works very well with the story from Duggan. Clever and funny and kick ass.

The art once again was very good, not great. Much better than the story. I am just not a big fan of Hawkins. I like the premise of the book and I've followed it for a bit but Hawkins just kills this story with way too much boring narration. I would have rather seen Sejic write this book also.

Great start to the book but sizzled at then end a bit. I will be reading next issue to follow.

Its actually better than I expected. I thought it was just another effort to push more female led books but they did a pretty good job with it. The art helps big time, goes good with the character. Overall good first issue but I can't imagine it will have much staying power.

One of the best issues yet.

While the art was fantastic the story was weak for the conclusion. Pretty anti-climatic. The whole getting justice blah blah blah. Just weak Marvel. Especially how many spiders got wiped out and you just through them into some dimension? C'mon man. Just so they can resurface a couple years later to be the protagonist to spidey again. Just disappointing. I mean I get what they are doing but it's stuff like this that makes me love Image Comics more and more.

Just fun, ass kicking stuff here. Well done Gail and Jim.

This issue was actually better than the last few. Honestly, I didn't think the book needed to go past the first story arc, which was awesome. But I do like where they are going with this now and the art is looking much better with Krstic on the helm.

Art was really good, great action scenes. It's just hard to really get into it knowing that it's ending soon.

I completely agree with the above reviewer. I love the art and the premise. And, Josie is badass. But the script is weak. Almost feels rushed?

This is a better issue of the series but still just not there. I have faith in Bunn though

Nick Spencer continues to do a great job with Scott Lang. Really humanizes him and his story. Second issue is not as good as the first but I think as a whole it's a great read.

I really dig Billy Tan's take on Hal. This is an interesting start to a story. I'm looking forward to where this is going.

Another cool issue. This entire series should be binge read from start to finish because of the big delays between issues. With that said it's hard to score individual ones. As a whole this was one of the greatest series of the last 2 decades. Everything just came together. I'm looking forward to the final issue, although bitter sweet.

I liked this issue a lot. The art, especially the colors were vibrant and really made the book. I'm not normally a fan of JRJ but I liked what he did. I think it's a great ending to what I thought was kind of a weak arc. And, I like that he did the big reveal at the end. IMO one of the best issues of this New 52 series.

So I just got on board with this series starting with issue #1 and I couldn't stop reading and getting caught up to this issue, #14. The series as a whole is a 10 in my opinion. The writing is great even with the limited amount of dialogue. The art tells the stories. A note on that; I thought having a different artist every issue would have been pretty confusing but it worked out very well. Anyway, issue #14 is intense. Very big stuff going on. Just super solid.

I'm not sure why people don't like this series, it's a well written dark and gritty story. And, it's not the same old shit. I'm digging it, it's too bad it got cancelled.

After a few lackluster issues this one kicks some ass. Great story and I really like the job Espin did. Very cool read.

Yes, this is a slower story to explain stuff but it's just boring and confusing. Great art, I love Tony Daniel. But this story is just going nowhere. Also, throwing Harley in there just seems like its forced to sell books. I get that he explains himself with what happened with the Suicide Squad but I just didn't feel it. Again she was drawn really cool and overall the art gets a 9.

Not bad. I personally miss the art from Francis Manapul. I think that was the best time for this series. This issue does get better and some cool stuff is happening so I will be checking it out.

What a great series. Most underrated IMO. This is such a clever book, the premise is super smart. I can't remember when I felt so much emotion when reading a comic book. Intense issue. I love the story so far and the art just goes perfect with the story.

Great continuation of the Endgame story arc. Great story brewing here.

Definitely the best issue in a while. Really like the character dynamics with Stephanie and Harper. Just an all around fun and exciting issue.

Love me some Vigil. A little confusing at first with the dialog and a little wordy but like always, great art and great action. The end of the book was pretty intense too.

I liked the story here. The art was good not great. Story really carried it though. I thought without Soule it would have been lame but not a bad issue.

I liked it. The art was really cool and the story with Venom's home planet and Flash's new suit. Plus always good banter with the GotG.

Not too bad of a story but the art was all around terrible.

Very cool. I love what Gail Simone is doing with Red Sonja. And this story puts two kick ass characters together. Love it. I will be disappointed if they don't bang some time though.

I thought the art is excellent. The story just doesn't do it for me. Meh.

Definitely a pivotal issue. Everything is starting to come together. I love the double cross from Black Panther to Namor. I'm looking forward to where this goes.

This series is just taking me by surprise at how much I enjoy it. Fun overall and this issue continues it. Great writing and killer art. Story is really coming together.

Pretty good art except for Domino. Story is a bit confusing and just not really doing a whole lot.

Story started a little but picked up with some cool stuff going on. Loved the Nova appearance. Not really a huge fan of Sandoval but I think it works well with the story.

Great continuation in the story. It was getting a little slow there previously but this one ramps it up and is looking to get interesting.

Quite overrated series. I want this book to do well but it is what it is

This was a great issue. Not sure why the bad ratings. I loved the art, nice change of pace, something a bit different which worked well I thought. Plus it's cool to see The Spoiler and Harper get involved.

Good stuff. The art is just perfect for this book. Really like it everything so far. The writing was very good. I too love that line from Midnighter ..."I know that ass anywhere". Classic.

I really like this run with Pak and Kuder. This issue continues on with clever writing and really killer art

I really liked the art in this one.

Love this series. And this issue just continues on building what is turning out to be a pretty fun and exciting story.

I really like where they are going. Story is fun, Bucky is very likeable, and some killer art.

This is a great example of how to do fight scenes in a comic book. It is what it is, some ass kicking action. And who doesn't love that?

Not much going on. Kind of weak issue. I do like the dynamic with Lana and Fifty Sue. That's pretty funny but other than that not much else. Usually the end has some sort of surprise or something but this one was just anti-climatic. But it's all building I guess.

Just a solid issue all around. Writing and art. Nick Spencer really does a good job getting the reader to root for Scott Lang. And the art goes with it perfectly.

I thought the writing was good in this issue. Good story, good premise overall. A good break in action to get to some of the loose ends tied up with Carol. I did not like the art though. It was just way too inconsistent. There were some good scenes like the first few pages of Hal flying through space and Carol was done pretty well, but besides that, most expressions looked off and like I said before, just inconsistent. But Venditti's story definitely saved the day.

A good cap to the mini-series. Overall a fun one. Two good characters. I like how they both used each others intro pages. Art was a little inconsistent with the two artists on board, which is why it's an 8. But if you like Deadpool it's a must.

I was really looking forward to this series but this first issue is a little disappointing. I know its building for something good and I really like the premise but what disappointed me the most was the art. I absolutely love Stjepan's art in the previous Aphrodite series but this issue it seems sloppy to me. I was still be following this series because I'm sure it will get better.
