Overall, an indelible feel good book, which is very tongue in cheek, plays as what if the characters in Robert Howards books of Conan, lived in the same setting of Rodney Dangerfields Back To School. The story by Tracy and Kolpowitz, will have laughing at every page. The art by Porto, is both irreverent and gorgeous. Altogether, even if you dont love sword and sorcery books, let this book be the bright spot in your day, as everyone loves a good laugh and this book delivers in spades.

Waid has portrayed Archie in the most realistic view as possible, as he a teenager with normal adolescent problems and feelings. This is probably the most attractive part of this book, as I cannot remember his story being as effectual as what Waid has put in these pages. Staples definitely has done a great job here, as I am so used to her work on Saga, that I feel like I am cheating on Saga with her on this book but you can tell for her, it is a love for these characters that ring true in her illustrations. Overall, a solid reboot, and one to pick up next time you are at your local comic shop.

Altogether, this serves as an excellent expansion to the mythology surrounding the movies and definitely serves as closure for diehard fans like myself. Bob Gale, Erik Burnham and John Barber, sidesteps the pitfalls that would mar movie tie-ins and capture the essence of the movies, as it does not hurt that Bob Gale was the original screenwriter for all three movies. The art by Dan Schoening and Brent Schoonover capture this timeless phenomenon in all the perfect colors as they richly capture every detail in the right amount of light. Overall, this a comic full of possibilities, and in reading it, I can hear Doc Brown say where we are going, we dont need no roads!!

Overall, a fun trip down the nostalgia hole that is B-movie fun. The stories by Jean-Claude Forrest, are just as exciting and amusing, as one could have imagined. The art by Forrest has that crude 70s style that most artists of the time copied, but his characters and backgrounds still jump off the page. Altogether, in a time where political correctness was not as fervently checked, this book is a time capsule when your imagination was the only ticket you need to explore these worlds.

This is a great introduction into this world, even though one knows from jump, not to be too invested, as each of them will die soon after. Robert Vendittis writing has enough levity and tension, for the reader to be absorbed enough to come back for his end game to all of this. Doug Braithwaites art is pretty standard as compared to his previous works, but serves its purpose for this book.
