Love the setting, need some more character centered story

Good starting point for a series, the story is somewhat vague, but you can piece together a little of what to expect. I enjoy slight alternate history stories and I'm not disappointed. The characters backstories could use a bit more fleshing out for motives and history, but still interesting.

The second issue feels a bit longer than it needs to be, but the story is still interesting. The setting skips a bit much as well. Overall a good read.

Nothing bad, nothing good.

Being a first issue to the series is always a bit slow and somewhat lack-luster, this is a bit expected, but this is kind of hard to defend. Not much happens in the story to draw you in. This isn't the worst I've read and I think it's worth reading the second issue hoping to get more.

Plot explanation comes a little late, but definitely something interesting.

Little shorter than the previous issues, but progress is made in the story at a decent pace. Hope we get more backstory and world building.

Anti-climatic ending, wished the story and characters were more fleshed out. The dialogue was brief and not many questions got answers. Although, not a bad read over all.

Enjoy the hack and slash genre. The author mention the music he listened to while making the story and it shows well with the setting and art it self.

It was a fun read, the writer new that and made sure of it. The story doesn't take itself seriously and seems like an homage to 80's action movies. The art style is also well done adding to the story.

Te energy from the first issue continues. The story had just enough historical background to be believable and there's enough of it being dramatized to keep interest. Reminds me a bit of the 300 comic.

The story hardly progressed, the action panels seemed to be rushed and are a bit difficult to follow. I'm assuming this was a "filler" type of issue. Some background was given, but a bit more development of the characters would be nice.

The setting is interesting and leaves me bit curious. Can't say too much about it, there wasn't many lines to help start to build anything. That's possibly the point to start interest. Might give it another issue.

Glad I decided to pick up this issue, not my usual read but decided to change it a bit. The art and setting remind me of Sunset Overdrive or Hi-Fi Rush, if you enjoyed those games, this is seems like a similar series so far. Worth waiting for the next issue.

This series is something. I picked up issue one on random and it hooked me. This issue made sure it set. I don't read a lot of comics in this genre, but I am glad I decided to give it a try.

While I enjoyed the series over all, this last issue left a bitter taste. I wasn't sure of the ending or when it would come, but the series could've extended a bit more for a more intense story. The first three issue seemed to play out like True Detective's first season, but abruptly ends in an unsatisfying way.

Felt like there could've been something, but it seems like it's still missing a few elements. The artwork isn't something I enjoyed seeing and the story in the issue reads generic and predictably.

Love the setting of an alt-history of the Vietnam war. The story is interesting just in the first issue, but I am a bit worried that the story's direction will move to something else at the end than what's initially presented. Excited for the second issue.

Just got into comics, I am glad I did by starting with this one.

Short and sweet. Wastes no time and is a quick intro into what kind of person Red Sonja is.

The story is good so far, for a first issue, visuals are well and the writing good. The first fight was underwhelming but not terrible. It seems as if Samurai Sonja could've been a new character altogether, rather than a spin off of Red Sonja.

The set up is alright, but there isn't much to go off of for the first issue. Characters will probably get more development as the series goes, but no catch an interest. The art and writing are also ok, but nothing to want to see again for a second issue.
