Blood is spilled, heads explode, and even an orgy or two take place in what is only the first issue of this new Mad Cave Studios series. The tv-style telling of the story makes perfect sense with Pires at the helm and we are here for it all. |

Pak is a wonderful writer and any comic in their hands is worth the read. |

With heavy shadows casted throughout the panels, readers can almost feel the darkness that lingers over this mysterious school for magic and its inhabitants. But it's not all doom and gloom; flashes of bright colors help bring life back into this world while providing insight into some of its characters' emotions such as fear or hope. |
