Amazing issue. I really want to see what waits Superman on War World

Really hyped for this! PKJ is a genius!

The Authority? Better Suicide Squad. Outstanding issue! Mongul shows why he's a big bad menace for Superman.

Outstanding as always. It's really nice to see so damn good dialogue in every panel.

BEST CURRENT DC BOOK!

It's just perfect

I'm not going to lie. This is probably the best JL arc written by Bendis. I mean, there are some terrible dialogues like "Xanadu? The fortune teller?" BUT... it was really fun to read. Wow Bendis, you did this issue great, too bad the start of your run is not like this.

Outstanding issue. I loved every panel and I've really missed that maquiavelic Darkseid.

A entire continuity crises porn. I loved!

Biggest surprise of the week. I kinda felt that the angriness of Arthur and Oliver was kinda forced, but still i liked. Did'nt expected that this would be some type of Flashpoint Paradox ft Freaky Friday ft Jurassic Park but im really happy that im subscribed to this series.

Amazing stories, i really missed Kenan. I hope DC can do something with this characters soon. I kinda curious what are they planning with Monkey Prince and Liam. Monkey Prince its a interesting concept and has so much potential and lore, i hope they choose to work with him instead more batbooks full of nothing. And its great to see Liam coming back to the lights and being the sidekick of Selina. Loved so much this special, but, i guess some 2 pages-stories are kinda... meh? Still, im waiting so much the next special.

A little bit rushed this issue. The changes of character personalties are weird... really weird. I mean, Power Ring wasnt that dumb and joker. Owlman too. Im not talking about differences between N52 version, im talking about the crime sindicate miniseries. Anyways, still waiting for the participation of the titans or flash. At this point im wondering if this story was pitched for more than 5 issues

I mean, Kelly Quintela finally its a little bit likeable and she can be his own character and not Bendis pretending to be a latin child. Amazing issue! I hope that they stop doing crossovers from this point. I mean, the crossovers were pretty good but we need a centered storyline pls. Still, I'm really hyped for the annual!!

I loved how they are building Jon to be a more creative and strategic Superman. Perhaps, Godlewski art dont get me, still, it works in this issue.

Great story. It's not good as Action Comics, actually, it feels like a filler. I mean, they really needed time for Taylor's arrival and some foreshadowing of Jon becoming the new Superman. However, the side story was A-MA-ZING! Excellent story, I've really enjoyed reading about Bilbo, Jimmy, and those B-list heroes. I'm waiting for more adventures about them.

I really enjoyed this issue. I missed a lot Jon and Damian being themselfs, that friendly bully and cockery between them. Yeah, It's not the most powerful or intriguing story, but this issue makes me realize that Taylor's run is not valuable to pay anymore. I'm definitively quiting of that series.

This was a weird start. Its good and funny to see the reactions of the gods of the DC Universe to the presence of Yara, but... i mean, we still don't know anything about her. Probably they'll show more about her and his past in the next issues. Perhaps, Joelle's art is simple beautiful.

A very decent start.

Its kinda better than the first issue, but its still really regular. The plot its really simple and it seems the interactions and action moments are really amazing, but it feels like the narration its getting slower and slower even with the issue finishing with the team fully formed. Some details like putting some stories that only exist in earth 3 are kinda funny. Also, Owlman backup story its great, but it seems that it has the same problem of the previous issue, it needs more pages to feel a credible progression. BUT its still really funny to read.

I don't know how to feel about this comic. The story is not great, the passing is so inconsistent, the new secret origins are so compressed and rushed that i can't understand his reasons to be "evil" and they feel like old cartoons villains... but im still enjoying reading this. I love the interactions between this characters, i liked how Donna its a complete powerhouse and they can connect like a better team. Still, im interested in the next issues, but its kinda sad because this story could have be better like a maxiseries, not a mini, i suposse that they want to lead quickly to the crossover with the Suicide Squad :T

Uh... This is not the best Crime Syndicate story but still, it's kinda funny. But they really need to try another book with these characters, they really have a lot of potential.

Superman: Kal-El Returns Special (2022) #1 Nov 30, 2022

Better the next issue step the pedal, cause aside weak Jon characterization, politic stuff and that lazy Nakamura kid, this book is boring as h*ll...

I've expected better for a first encounter of Bendix and Jon, it's suppose that he will be his "Luthor" but I did'nt felt anything about that.

The writting at the first half of the book was just terrible. Superman and Batman looked kinda OOC. Also, no references of Luthor being the servant of Perpetua or the Totality? Like... Don't get me wrong, I hate everything related to Death Metal, but jezz, not even The Totality, it was a great concept. Still, I loved the interactions of Luthor and Jon. But pls, change Jon's hairstyle. The art is amazing but reveals how bad looks that hair.

Where is Robbie Thompson on this book?!?!?!

They're some great ideas on this book like the hilarous use of internet haters, but the exagerated amount of text, slow pacing and weird art makes me not enjoy the entire story. Anyways, the last page kinda keeps my atention but still im a little bit disappointed for this story :(

6.5
Superman: Son of Kal-El (2021) #13 Jul 12, 2022

This was the biggest dissapointment of the week. I expected a lot of this story. Dont get wrong, this first issue is fun and good... but it's just that. There are some weird moments when Bane can talk but other character can't. Still, im kinda interested for the Lazarus resine subplot. So... yeah... it's fun, kinda good, Barrows art really nailed :T

Why DC aproves this terribles batbooks?

Man, the art wants to be epic but it doesnt work. I mean, it is suppose to be a cosmic and amazing adventure, heck! Jon Stewart is being te most powerful being on the battle but still I can't read this book wtf

Seriously, how is possible that Jon does'nt feel like the main character in his own book but Williamson can do it on Dark Crisis? HOW?

The saddest part of everything is this is probably the best issue of the entire run and still is barely regular. Too bad the characters ended up being so lame because some of them are very interesting. This book should be only for this new characters and another book about the Titans and red x. What a waste of potential. Tim Sheridan, you nailed man, you really outpassed Bendis as the worst writter on DC modern era.

Isn't suposse that this is a John Stewart's Stewart? Until now we haved great concepts but the execution is horrible. Also, I'm sorry, but the art is terrible, I just can stand to that faces. Idk, what a dissapointment, this book really hyped me at the start, but now I just hope it ends soon at the #12

I've only liked how this Unity is a reasonable team. Then... Sh*t writting again. In other news MAN JLD it's amazing. After seeing Infinite Frontier's last issue I so hyped to see that big bad guy again!!!

Idk why, but I was expecting a better secret origin of Jay Nakamura. Christ, even writting right now, i'm feeling the dissapointment about this character. I think that's the key word for this issue. Also the art is terrible, where is the guy who draw Infinite Frontier 0!!!!???

All course, Taylor. Let's make a joke about marrying a couple who know each other like... three weeks?

"Latinx"

No, seriously DC, why did you give this book to Bendis? Seriously, c'mon guys! It's the JUSTICE LEAGUE!! It's supposed that we have to have the best stories in this book! Why this book doesn't even mention something about Infinite Frontier or Shazam's magic Crisis? Why the h311 you hate Ram V so much to give him JLD as a secondary story? Man, even Synmar was a decent character but now it's so stupid that it hurts. Bendis is probably the only writer in DC that doesn't care about teamwork. I'm not a fan of him, but I still know that he wasn't the correct choice for the Justice League. You guys have an entire Black Label line!! Give him a book about any other story like other genres like Scarlet or Torso. He can't write superheroes anymore. And yeah, this rating happens when you stop giving amazing art to mediocre writing.
