Well at least it ended on a good note I guess. Just not a good series.

First Kerra is just not an interesting character. The storyline is pretty bad. The art is at least decent.

Both stories are solid and well paced. Both have good cliffhangers to keep you wanting to come back.

Still not digging the main character. Really makes Jedi seem so stupid.

Decent enough issue. Superman acts a little out of character here to get to the prison. I felt he would have taken a more measured response. He’s not an idiot he’s supposed to be a Boy Scout.

Overall bonkers book. Caps adventure ends in a really fast manner that comes somewhat out of left field. Enjoyable arc that was was just entertaining enough to get over the sheer ridiculousness of it all. Iron Man adventure is sci Fi fun with some good Jeckll Hyde moments.

Ho hum start. Nothing really lept off the page and the dialogue was a little off kilter. Drummer seems somewhat interesting but I’ll give another issue before I close the book on this.

I like the lead characters and the central story while vague so far does shape up to hook you. My issue is the manga style art. Not a fan of it at all. Avery looks just horrible in this. Some of the action is rather non -sensical.

Fun fast read. For a lot happening the story never slows down but it also has to many plot points so it doesn’t all jibe with itself. A tall order is in for this to pay off. Overall though I want to see what is next.

Main story was really good with solid action. Jurgens story was also very well done. Steel’s story had its moments. Looks like that one is picking up. Overall good solid read.

I really don’t know how I feel about this book. At times it’s fun at other times it’s word salad. The gist of the plot seems interesting but getting there felt like I was walking through a swamp. Overall I’m intrigued but I don’t know how long I can take the Psuedo nerd talk.

Entertaining war time yarn staring Supes. Some of it quite absurd but in the best way to make you giggle.

Glad Alpha is back. Nice setup and though the beginning is somewhat headscratcher knowing the characters past it does end nicely.

Not that bad a book. The characters are a little more fleshed out but the lead Jedi is still to headstrong. I would have liked a better more mature chess like approach with the character.

Yeah Dooms plan is not that good considering he’s supposed to be smart. Also the Avengers forget Doom rules Lateria. It’s pretty shoddy to get the plot going. Though once the confrontation starts it is all pretty entertaining. Not the best but fun nothing less.

Nice annual with some great short stories. Adam’s story is the standout but Waids impulse story is up there too.

Avg Spidy book. Decent enough action with Kraven.

Well I guess when you need to you just make up new rules for the Xenos. I mean breathing in space I guess even though the very first Aluen literally blew it out into space. I guess they just figured since it was fried it would have lived otherwise. Ok. I think the worst thing about the book is the dialogue. Man is it bad.

So so start. The ending picked up but why are all new Jedi so headstrong and brash. It’s a stereotype that really drives me insane. It’s as if Jedi training really does suck. Luke was that way because he was untrained and Yoda was able to contain that by Return.

Whoa boy that was a painful end to a pointless series. This is a prime example of not creating a series with someone to root for. It’s just bad people doing bad things to each other and not learning a darn thing. It really makes the Sith look rather idiotic.

So I like the idea of looking at the movie Predators in a little different vain. The Predator looked cool. Had some nice action. Though they were shooting a lot man these soldiers suck. Then blamo cool Predator gone in a most lame way just to continue a crappy characters story. Oh well ruined a decent book.

Just don’t care much for the characters.

Star Wars: Lost Tribe of the Sith - Spiral #3 Oct 3, 2023

Overall decent page turner

The story in and of itself is standard stuff and I’m ok with that. What really hurts this though is it just seems like the writer has no clue how the Xenos work. If they are frozen how did they unfreeze on a Tundra planet. How do they live through fire to then suddenly be shown they are dead many panels later. Gestation does not take 2 hours. It is much longer.

Not all that bad. Some hokey dialogue but the premise is nice and the fight was well drawn. It’s not boring by any stretch of the imagination.

Deserves all the recognition the book received through the years. I remember the picture since my time as a youngster in the 70’s and 80’s. To finally read the issue and see the art lives up to it all. Great stuff.

Ok start. I don’t know if I like the family dynamics or not. At least they are human. Overall though it just feels ok. See how it plays out.

I’ve enjoyed Adam’s run this was a rather quick unfulfilling ending to it all. Everything happens off page and things come and go to fast. Then the end leaves it like they are gone for forever and gives us nothing. Well it was a nice run. Wish it would have ended better.

Really enjoyable issue. Nice start to new arc with lots of characters that never slows down.

Great issue with a wallop of an ending. Love Jimmy and Banshee relationship and the resolution was well played.

Fun entertaining issue. It just felt way too short. The art if excellent but man that was a fast read that seemed to really not go anywhere fully. I would have liked to see Arsenal and Canary a little more.

Whew the art was bad in this. Glad it’s over cause I care even less about the main character. The ending was terrible and just doesn’t build to anything after everything that has transpired. Could’ve ended with a Predator nuke and nothing would have changed.

Well it finally ended. The action was good if a bit incoherent. The biggest downside to the whole arc is the synths themselves. The humans are pictured as jerks for “backstabbing “ them and get torn up but in reality the synths were built by humans. They don’t exist in any fashion without being built by them. They are not living. So the message is rather muddled.

The plot and dynamics between Lex and Supes are great. The backstory Lex tells not so much. Now I get Lex could be lying but if not it’s really just out there. I like that Williamson goes for it though. It doesn’t drag the book down but in the end it is rather a miss. Overall though it’s nice to have a good Superman title.

Fun diversion issue with an appearance by the Supersons which was nice. Lots of fun stuff and also a nice ending to set up the next arc. Overall entertaining.

Both characters stories are continuations and are rather middle of the road for both the story and the overall enjoyment. Some of the inner monologues for both stories are rather repetitive and drag the book down. The action in both though are well drawn and pretty slam bang fun.

From a plot perspective it was fine. Nice setup and a cool moment with Beast boy and a giant ape. The Gar Raven relationship feels real. The downside is Taylor’s dialogue on everything else. Oh boy is it bad. It feels like people talking in slogans. It’s so head shaking. I don’t mind the politics or context of what is being said but sound human at least. Really drags the issue down. Nice ending though to set up an interesting mystery.

Glad this arc is over with Kang. Just not very good. Stan’s writing is terrible right now in this title.

One of the better issues in this run. It was entertaining and the Alien art is very well done. Still though besides the kid there’s no one to root for.

Fun pulpy issue with some interesting villains. Overall nice start up for Murdock not stuck in the office and also nice with the twist at the end.

Yeah did not really like this issue. Theta just isn’t an interesting enough character for me to care. Here she comes off as the bad guy so yeah I’m hoping the next issue the Predator gets her.

Just a so so story. It’s an interesting glimpse into Sith life but it doesn’t make for sympathetic characters.

I really like the book. Everything but the Calvin story works for me. Gas lamp is visually a cool villain if a little to Dr. Facilliar.

So : so ending. A little disjointed and the action feels like lots of holes are there so we need to fill in tons of gaps. But still rather entertaining if a little light.

Solid fun read. All the stories in the book move along at a nice pace and are engaging.

Nice start to the series. It’s great to see all the characters together. Nice mystery too. Only part that felt a little disjointed was the Cheshire Cat sequence. Otherwise can’t wait for next issue.

Fun read with a good ending and some nice action to boot. It’s good to have Lex being Lex and Supes being Supes.

The first story was prettier good. I do like that Supes is consistent now. The Metallo story is taking a nice turn and the twins story with Jon was well set up. The second story though short was interesting and fun. Great to see Jon as he should be. The third well is what it is. I could not stand the way Jon was drawn in this one. And the dialogue between him and Power Girl is almost laughable.

Moments felt rushed and the art made those moments even more chaotic. Overall the story was well told and fun. The ending was cool and sweet.

Slam bang issue that culminates in a great cliffhanger. I love Ditko art in this. Peter looks absolutely horror movie monster mad in this. Great stuff.

Fun issue with the X-men trying to escape the Sentinels. They do an admirable job but need lots of help in this one. Not their most heroic moment. The dialogue is also rather clunky in this.

Was a little chaotic with the art to get a grip on. What was going on. To many tight panels. Has an interesting twist that adds to the proceedings in an ok manner.

Really fun issue with The Thing having a fantastic fight with Black Bolt. The Seeker is kinda lame so his parts kinda suck which stop this issue getting a 10. Still lots of fun.

The action is exciting and well done but I still don’t buy the Predators hunting this lady down. And frankly she’s worn rather thin on me. I was almost rooting for the Predator at the end of this one. We’ll see we’re this leads.

Decent fast paced read with a nice battle in it. The characters are vivid enough to care about them. Overall not bad.

I really like the plot and the art is otherworldly. Man oh man the dialogue. I get that some teenagers talk like this but hence the word teenagers. These are adults and aliens and they sound like 12 year olds. It makes for a jarring experience and sometimes you just shake your head and just don’t like the characters because of it.

The story I. The first one is shaping up nicely but man I can’t stand the art. Everyone has red noses or looks like they were punched in the face. The second story was interesting and really hooked me to want to read more. The third was just whatever. Just to Meta for my tastes.

Entertaining read. Nothing too spectacular but gets the job done to get us to the conclusion next issue. Still though one of the best comics out there.

Overall better issue than jumping all over the place. A sense of urgency and plot has now worked its way in. Lots of exposition but it is well written so it has a nice pace and feel. Overall very good issue.

Fun fast read. The parasite issue happens a little to fast for my tastes could have easily been two books worth here and I like Williamson as a writer but at times this is his weakness. Jumping to a point that feels rushed or abrupt. Overall though it’s nice to see Supes being Supes.

Entertaining issue. My big gripe is I just can’t stand Kang. He literally is a plot device instead of a real villain. His powers are always a Duex Ex Machina revelation and it’s really annoying as that’s what makes him “powerful”. Otherwise he’s a poor man’s Doctor Doom.

The Nick Fury story was kinda dumb, while the Doctor Strange was really a well drawn fight between Mordo and Strange.

Nice ending to the Orginizer. Lots of good action with a good frenetic pace. The only mar to the issue is the end. Stan gets really annoying with relationships. Iron Man, X-Men and this has some of the dumbest dudes on the planet. Let alone women. Even with Peter it works at times but the dialogue all bleed together.

Fun issue seeing Irey tossing her brother around like a sack of potatoes using him as a weapon. Lots of funny moments in the panels because of this. Some really good character moments with an awesome one of Jay at the end.

Very solid issue for both characters. The plot in Captain America story is very much The Boys from Brazil in Sci Fi mode. Iron Man takes on The Thinker with usual results but it’s still a good solid story.

Great intro for Gwen, and Harry. Some nice build up of Master Planner. The pace is a little slow at times but overall the world building is nice to see as Peter shifts to college.

Great continuation of the Inhumans. Lots of great character development. Really fun read.

So it’s just an adaptation though a pretty good one. It’s very old school as comics in the 70’s and 80’s did this all the time. It’s a fun read to see in a different medium. You’ll get your own worth out of this. I can’t score it higher than 5 just because it’s not original or anything. The art is very good though.

A very good adaptation with some great panels but again can’t score higher then a five as it’s the series with nothing new.

Felt very Princess and the Frog for me. The art was great and the characters are still the best thing about the comic which keeps me reading. Just not the best plot or how it came across.

The story is alright. It has its moments that keep up some intrigue and can be somewhat entertaining. The biggest problem with the story is Steel Team. There is literally no reason to care about them no matter how human they seem because frankly they are not. They are programmed that way. They are not sentient like a human. When they die they literally will not know it in the end. So the betrayal at the end of this isn’t some moral test here or a true screw over. It would be no different then tossing a gernade into the room that was programmed to talk.

Nice start to the series. You kinda get a glimpse at the characters in big broad strokes and that’s fine for the set up and establishing the archetypes. The action is good and the plot seems fun. Makes you want to read more.

That was a yawn fest. It feels so below pedestrian as it tries and change what Predators are. And the fact this girl has killed 23 does not speak to Predators but then again the way this one dies in this book is about as dumb as it gets.

Good start to this arc. The art is awesome and the storyline is setting up nicely. Overall a nice return to something that’s feels like Superman.

Ok issue. So of it comes off a little bit trite to me. I love the gothic feel of the book and the plot is building nicely. I just wish it wasn’t so “artsy”. It feels like Ram is trying to hard to elevate Batman. Sorry not needed.

Good Empire Strikes Back moment in the arc. Lots of good dialogue and a nifty plan to only end in an excellent cliffhanger.

A decent Superman story. Has its heart in the right place and has an interesting end.

Not the best Spidy or Dr. Strange story. It’s cool to see them team up but the villain sucked. To many Dues Ex Machina moments just to get the plot to move forward. Still a fun read just nothing great.

Just a so so issue. All the bickering is getting a little old. The frame up just didn’t hit the mark and the Power Man fight was just ok.

Not the best Batman story. Still a decent read but it really doesn’t make Batman to smart or good at fighting. He’s just a sumo in this one.

Excellent story. Lots of good action with great hints at introducing the Inhumans.

Both tales were enjoyable and built on the characters respective legacies.

Whoa what a duzy. The fight with Vulcan is great. But at times the book feels rushed. Like Flash up and leaves. The JSA has a new ship. It’s pretty funny stuff. Overall though the issue is bonkers in the most fun way.

Overall the issue gets a seven. The first story is ok. Nothing special. It’s just kinda silly talking with no real characterizations going on. It’s a lot like his current run on Aliens. Not fully thought thru. The art is horrible. Everyone looks the same. The second story is nice and ends on an interesting note. The third while not great was at least interesting from a plot perspective with some great visuals.

So far the best part of this arc. This one was fun and had great chemistry between Ace and Impulse. The art at times is good then the next panel bad. It hasn’t fully detracted from the story fully but also doesn’t was give you immersion.

A little to much jumping around to fully make this issue totally solid. It’s more like a middle that doesn’t get to much but just builds a lot of questions for later.

The iron man story had some good action but overall wasn’t the best. I’d give that one a 6. The Capt. story was a fun ending with lots of great action. Nice art and overall decent story. I’d give it an 8.

Nice introduction to Sentenials but Trask is a complete idiot and people falling for the dumb Mutants suck is even worse. I mean there’s already others running around New York with powers. Why would more bother them. So dumb.

Not a very good villain and the Betty drama is kinda stupid. Not Lees best by far but still entertaining enough.

A better issue then the last has some good moments but I’m still not to keen on these speed force aliens. The art was better also in this issue. Overall still an enjoyable read but it’s obvious now time travel will be used to fix all the deaths.

Good start to this series. It was an enjoyable read with nice art. As a big bonus unlike the other short Old Republic series this one is also coherent.

Nice ending to the revolution and Mera story arc. Lots of good action to be had.

A very good story arc with lots of neat Sci-Fi elements. Overall highly recommended.

Cool plot with the Underworld going after Aquaman. Nice little mystery thrown in and the short Aqualad interlude is also paying off. Overall fun read.

Good enough ending to the Underworld story. Nothing was really explained but to the overall plot it didn’t need to be. Overall still a fun quest.

Nice finish to finding Mera and why.

Really great issue with lots of high drama and great action. Everything is moving along at a great pace as Aquaman tries to get back to Atlantis!

Average at best. Steel Team is rather bland and it’s hard to root for non living things even though they portrayed as such. They still are only machines programmed to be this way. The action is fast and furious and I like the ending.

The Iron Man battle was fun but the Pepper love triangle is running pretty thin. Capt was a good action packed story. Nothing special just fun.

So it was a fast enjoyable read but rather dour for tone considering how Flash has been lately. And boy the Aliens sure killed a lot of people landing their top. I’m truly over that trope in comics as most times all that death and destruction is glossed over when at that scale. It’s gotten old. Oh and I don’t like the art at all. Everyone looks ugly and whacked.

The Doctor Strange story is a good 9. A great battle of wits and magic against his mentor. Love the art to it. The Shield story is so over the top it’s fun but also so cheesy in the worse James Bond way.

I’m glad they undid the horrendous decision to make Supes identity public but overall the book was average at best. I did not like the art at all. Supes looked like an elf from DND. Lex was nice and arrogant but sure was dumb. There’s some good setup though and at least the tone is more Superman then dark and dreary man.

Fun energetic battle with Manta. Not much plot but still a nice continuation of the Mera plot. Great art also.

Nice change of pace with Aqualad as lead. Nice predicament he gets into with a great action scene drawn for him. The Atlantis interludes are short but move the subplot there forward very nicely. The land of giants that Aquaman finds himself in is strange and very 60’s sci fi. Love it.

Really good stuff. Fun action. Nice wrap up to this arc.

Not one of Lees best. He Hawkeye, Cap rivalry is on to think and gets old real quick. The plot is pretty lame that it could even work. Overall just an average read at best.

Decent enough issue. I like the change of writer. At least we didn’t get a lot of Gushy Karen. The plot is kinda lame but considered the politics of the time it might have had some snickers then.

Loved Scorpions second outing. Everything was sizzling in this issue. The writing. The art. It has humor, drama, suspense and good old Spidy action.

Nice start to the arc. All the more enjoyable if you’ve ever watched the Aquaman cartoon from the 60’s. You can read this with all the voices from that show.

Better then last issue. Love the sci Gi bent to the underwater world that Aquaman encounters here. I love that the symbiotic relationship that the two groups share isn’t dressed up as bad or good. Lots to digest in those moments. Overall a fascinating romp in the depths of the ocean that propels Aquaman journey forward but also stands on its own.

Great ending to the Frightful Four fight/arc. Lots of great action and drama. Lots of fun to read here.

Entertaining old school new villain introduced yarn. The action is top notch the orgin of the baddie is glorious 70’s kitchen. What’s not to like about all of it.

Fun romp for both characters. Nothing spectacular but Strange’s adventure is better. Overall entertaining.

Decent enough “ending” to the series. It has some good action. The art is really good and I finally like Keeve. Only gripe is some of the dialogue is absolutely eye rolling.

What postulating garbage this was. The whole story is a sledgehammer of just idiots talking down to Supes. Then Supes talking down about people. The dialogue is stillborn and the abuse in the book is boilerplate trope. Just bad all around.

Ok story that has nothing to do with Grounded. Nothing earth shaking or that involved but it is rather Nicky written and drawn.

Overall there are so many misses here that though it reads fast there are lots of eye rolling moments. Add in twointerludes that don’t propel the story anywhere or undermined Lois. An interesting idea that really does nothing.

So the plot was just bonkers tripe to get the two together but you know what I actually don’t expect anything less as really how can you not have insane ridiculous in this. The problem lies not in plot but the prose just isn’t tight and some of the story beats are disjointed. Otherwise is was fun. The art is fantastic and the basis of all the panels tells the story well enough. Overall a nice mashup romp that I would like to see more of.

Very good action when it comes. The art is the highlight. The story though is really beating our heads over with the same things. And don’t writers understand that Batman is of the people. He’s not a God.

Not a bad issue but though it rings in tonally to the arc I find some of it a little unlike Lois. The ending though was nice.

A much better issue then the prelude. While very heavy handed at times it is an interesting premise that just fully doesn’t pull it off. It has nice quiet moments with great art and while relatively low key it’s not boring.

A decent issue that was better then the last. The timeline feels off but overall the precedings were enjoyable.

Just a bonkers issue with a ton going on and everything over the top melodramatic fun. All you can say is the cheese drips off the page but darn if it doesn’t bring a smile to your face.

Decent enough issue. All in all an Average affair. Nothing more nothing less.

Nice fight with the Juggernaut. There are some really cheesy moments here and Juggernaut is rather 1D but the issue is still entertaining enough.

So much fun. From beginning to the end very entertaining. Power Girls intro is pretty funny. The plot is pure cheesy bombastic fun. If you don’t smile reading this you cold dead heart.

Nice start to the mini series. Nothing to much to say except looking forward to next issue.

I wish Batman was written more like this. He’s confident not sullen. He’s grounded not brooding and in turn is a badass. Just that alone makes this issue worthwhile. The art is an acquired taste but I kinda liked it. Overall kinda a cheesy plot but entertaining nothing less.

Love the setup. The characters feel like themselves and it does retain a sense of the Golden Age of comics here. Can’t wait to see the next issue. Love the art too.

So I don’t buy this for one bit. It it was just insanely stupid. The art is nice but oh boy what idiocy. I get Supes empathy but he knows he can’t save everyone and by know Supes knows that while it sucks for the lady who slapped him that it was purely selfish needs.

The Iron Man story is bombastic fun. Lee’s Ruskies are always teeth grinding fun. The setup is good and a taste of the fight is fun. Looking forward to next issue. Cap was just average. Nice to see him do some cool stuff out of costume but Bucky sucks.

Absurd fun with a commentary on the selling of munitions. You can see the writers trying to write a heroic story with an overpowering protagonist and at times it’s funny and good. Other times it’s just corny and not so good.

Great introduction to the character that reshaped comics. The issue moves fast as lightning introducing Lois, Clark and Supes. Lots of fun with nice art.

Better than the last two issues but still has issues with how the characters interact and behave. Barbara is a mess right now. Steph is just a dumb blonde and Cass is silent hard headed ninja. At least the plot went somewhere with Tutor.

Some great moments are undermined by the Whisper Gang interlude. I guess the author didn’t think through how these dudes eat while having no way of doing it for a year. But besides that really bad detail the rest is really good with some nice detective work.

This issue just kinda flew by. Glad Warworld is gone. Did not like that part at all in this. The opening part was decent enough. The backup was bland. Just not very interesting characters.

Slam bang action packed issue. The issue is just wall to wall action and some of it completely bonkers but awesome. Great middle to a threeparter.

Love Wally’s family dynamics. Love his work stuff. Not feeling the Rouge’s here. I just can’t buy a mayor with the power the make a fascist police. There are city councils. I guess that was just forgotten by.

Pretty average issue. Nice ending though.

Excellent exciting issue. Lots of detective work going on. Lots of great action with amazing art. Love seeing Bruce involved more without the costume. Love Batman’s arrogance about Gotham. It’s not brooding but commanding. Though we know he’s wrong. I’m ok with that.

A solid issue that has an absurd plot. I laughed at the histrionics of it all and a part of me feels like that was the point but if so it somewhat undermines the premise of the story so far. But hey it was good reading. The visuals are outstanding.

A nice enough ending that kinda brings about the conspiracy of A New World Order. I don’t fully buy it but ok as with all things it built on a house of cards and The journal is about to possibly be published.

Highly enjoyable read. The visuals are top notch. Every page oozes with detail. Overall the characters are alive and leap off the page. As a deconstruction of the genre I don’t nessasarily see it. It relies on tropes and grounds them but in the end it’s a superhero book with a twisted ending of pessimism with a sprinkling of hope. To me some of the Nixon nuclear war stuff hasn’t aged well and miles vary dependent on your experience living in the 80’s.

Not really a bad issue and I get why to get so into Rorschach as a character but I don’t buy the physiatrist falling into despair over it. Again a kind of nihilistic view is going on with Moore here where I feel as an author he’s kinda eating his cake too here. It permeates a lot of his work. He wants to knock us but he’s the pessimist here. I do like that a comic can bring up these conversations but I don’t know it makes it entertaining or nessarily great or as here rather average.

A nice change of pace after the last two issues. Still Moore is having his cake and eating it too here with the fetishized superhero’s and what not. It doesn’t derail the story but the juxtaposition just seems off.

Lots going on in this issue. Love the jailbreak sequence. Just had this insanely dark humor underlying the whole thing and it got a laugh out of me with the bathroom sequence. That part of the book is a pure 10. The frame around it not so much. It all felt a little contrived.

Interesting issue about an argument that due to the art and how the dialogue gets framed comes off beautiful and endearing. It’s really cool with the thought of being on an Alien planet Mars. Great stuff.

Very good issue. This one is ally,it and not really as serious as the others. It was just a good superhero book.

Nice intriguing start with some interesting twists to the protagonists. Love the pace and setup. Let’s see where it goes.

Very good issue with some great action and a nice building of the mystery of the trench. Love that the villains are possibly set up just trying to survive. Gives an interesting pathos. The art is amazing.

Nice ending to this arc that came just a little to fast. Needed another issue in my mind to let it breathe just a little more.

Really entertaining issue about what Arthur brought out of the Trench. Nice touches on building off the mystery ship in the last issue. The art again is top notch.

I liked that the issue focused on Mera but I can’t for the life of me put up with the sexism and pure stupidity of the police. I’m sorry real people who see water swishing around and car doors flying off would not react this way. It’s a comic trope I cannot stand from Hulk to X-men. It’s just lazy writing in my humble opinion.

Fun issue that ended well. Love the characters but if this was an ongoing series then everything would be fine. But since it’s a maxi/mini it just didn’t flow well enough.

Though the story being told is good only the ending drive’s anything forward for plot purposes. The rest of the book has not aged well for this issue. Though this is a fictional world the 1985 as told here mirrors 1985 sentiment among a faction of adults that were highly anti Reagen. If read back then the pessimism in this would have maybe hit home more but with time and actual history it has made this part seem rather pointless. It’s trying to say something but in hindsight was completely off base and wrong about everything. It doesn’t ruin the story it just dates it, which cuts the impact.

Molten Man wasn’t much of a villain but how we got there was good and the action was decent enough. Peters graduation was amazing though. JJJ has never been better then here.

Great start and awesome artwork. Lots of good action with good solid exposition to set up Aquaman world.

Another solid book. Lots of great action and just enough exposition to give us more on Mera a Arthur’s relationship. The villains are savage and scary. The art is fantastic.

Great start and setup for the arc ahead. The art is fantastic too.

Feels like a start over from the first six. It was a fun issue but doesn’t equate to mini series.

Everything is just ok in this book. Nothing jumps off the page. There is some really bad dialogue in parts that will just make your eyes roll.

Wow. That was the best orgin story ever. It not only conveyed Dr. Manhattans emotional state but the true extent of his powers while wrapping around his attachments and affairs. Truly a remarkable book.

Entertaining enough. Pretty pedestrian but the art is really good. The ending is a little static but at least the mystery is interesting.

So the Batman story deserves a 9/10 and the backup a 4/10. To me this was Tamaki best book except the end but the dialogue worked. The plot worked and Cass helping Batman worked. The less said about the backup better. Man it sucked.

Not a bad start to a new arc. There is some decent dialogue here and the art has a very dirty gothic feel to it. If there is a nitpick here it’s the calendar. There is dialogue in both stories that just rip me right out of reading. It sends me thinking about stuff not related to anything for the plot. What is it. Well it’s Dick talking to Batman like he’s some old grizzled 69 year old. Don’t know about you but Dick is only give or take 10 years younger. Of course it may be more but then you start getting into Gordon being 40 years on the force which puts him in his 50’s. Well these are things you need addressed or should be in a comic book. But the writers insist on playing with real time here that does not exist in any manner. It just fudges things up. Stop doing it in the Bat books.

Complete cheese fest. You can really tell Stan Lee is just writing to many scripts. Though the book is entertaining it in all honesty is not very good except for the art.

Fast entertaining read. Series still moving at a fast clip but due to introducing so many characters sometimes it doesn’t feel like it’s settled in in any way. I wish there were less characters and tighter plotting.

Entertaining but everything moves at hypersonic speed that it really hasn’t breathed enough. It really feels like set pieces are in Taylor’s head but the in between on how to get to them are fully structured so he just jumps to them and relies on us the reader to add in our actual knowledge of thee characters to feel in gaps that in reality would not or should not be there because we are in a different DC here. It’s a little lazy now in its world building.

Fun issue for sure. Love the wrestling references to 80’s 90’s. Nothing more to say but great action with fun dialogue.

Nice conclusion to finding Berry. Though it jumps around to much for my taste it is done in a way that never gets confusing. This by far is the funniest series out there right now.

A very fun read but really didn’t do anything. The art was very good and I do like the cheesy dialogue.

Highly entertaining. The ending is funny. If you don’t smile reading this you might be a Grinch.

Highly disjointed. Nothing makes any sense here. No character development. No plot development. Sad.

Nice start to Nick Fury. It’s a simple premise but effective and fun. Dr. Strange is again very entertaining.

Iron man’s tale is better then Caps. Iron Man is cheesy hokum but fun. Caps is dull and really goes nowhere.

Lots of character development in this one. Some of it a little slow and pretentious. Still a good read though.

Still great world building going on here. This chapter is not as strong as 1 is. Lots of dark themes here. An excellent read with great art. It just drags a smiggen at the end.

Talking about running out of steam. Just not very good. It comes off as boring and trite. The backup story just sucks. I can’t even describe it. Thank goodness it’s over.

Wordy ending to a series that just lost steam. This issue could have been done without. Overall I’d give the series as a whole a C+. There are some great moments but by the end they are far and few between. The biggest crux I have with the whole story is the meta points that become Jim’s voice. It literally sounds like the writer of this opus then Jim Gordon and it pulls me away from the story to ponder absurdity in DC comics decisions and age old comic writers.

Yeah just not feeling the start to this arc. Besides all the physics involved with Warworld appearing in Earths orbit I can push past comic book logic to some degree but it just seems rather stupid to me. It feels so un Superman here. I wouldn’t call this a let down but so far not the best of starts.

Just not feeling this arc at Al. Bland as bland can be.

Finally getting to the end and the tone has changed from downtrodden to hopeful. Overall a very good entry with still some art work being messy or not coherent with the story being told. Ending is a great cliffhanger. The backup story is really well done with nice “old school art. Also it to has a great setup.

It had great action but it was all incoherent. The art per panel is nice to look at but it just has no consistency in continuity to bring about any spatial awareness. It really brings down the story for me. The back up was fun but somewhat felt rushed.

Overall nice ending to an ok but to long story arc. There are some cool moments in the book but certain elements felt rushed. Glad it’s all over and we can move on to other stories.

Great set up of the world and a nice intro to a mystery. The color scheme is great as is the art. Overall highly enjoyable.

One of the best Avengers issues by far. Everything works. The action. The art. The dialogue and the plot. Kudos all around.

This one is slam bang fun. Lots of action. A very good plot and Jonah having a victory of sorts. Sets up some good future boos too.

Fantastic read. Great follow up to the Doom issues. Everything is almost pitch perfect. Love how The Thing gets turned and how FF gets beat.

Decent enough ending for a mildly entertaining series. Zayne still isn’t enough to carry the arc fully and the ending synopsis is rather eye rolling but in the end it was ok.

The issue jumps all over the place and feels like it all by itself could have been several books. Lots of action but almost no characterization. Though it still is entertaining.

Decent enough issue. Lots of good drama with Tim Drake.

Flash is just fun. Everything works and the issue is never boring.

Repugnant!

Great lead character with decent art. The characterization is spot on and well done. My only gripe is how the Predator picks its targets. They only pick targets worth the hunt with weapons. In essence these people should have known or known something as not all we’re armed. Like I said my only gripe but overall very nice first issue.

Mediocre ending with still some cringe dialogue. The series had hope but turned into a real poop show. Oh well it ended but didn’t.

Fun action packed book with only a cop out to give back their powers. That part is the only lazy part and letting Doom go. Otherwise good stuff.

Great issue except for how Goblin captures Spidy. It just comes up rushed considering Spidy’s powers. Otherwise lots of fun.

Finally a really good book in this series. Enjoyable read with a nice plan to take a dreadnaught.

So The Fortress of Solitude gets stolen. Okay. Such a stupid plot point with Leviathan. Man Superman and Batman sure are dumb as a box of rocks in this book. The JLD story was ok.

Enjoyable read that besides missing some points with muddled morality, they really only deal with little issues The juxtaposition though was spot on so Monguls story has more weight which was fantastic as we know who Supes is. So that was very cool. The art was nice too with everything gelling together. One of PKJ best comics so far.

Well all I can say it’s over and the last page was the best part in the whole series. The whole run literally went nowhere. No one grew, no one did much of anything. And nowhere did anyone talk like a human being.

Fun little romp with a well done fight. A little convoluted but still entertaining.

I just can’t buy Barbara getting caught so easy just so we can get a plot twist. It was all rather lazy for me. So let’s see. Oracle is not as smart as Jim Gordon who is almost smarter then Bane here but not as smart as Court of Owls lady but Jim is still out playing them all and oh Oracle is still a dummy in the end. Got it. Also Jim’s speech is pure hog trash. Jim Gordon believes in Socialism. Ok sure he does. Lol.

Wow school went really fast. I really feel like there is just so much missing. What a mess.

I love how this issue focuses on Peter kinda bringing all the drama on himself due to him needing money but also his arrogance in knowing he’s Spidey and it almost backfires. It’s nice to see a character so human. You can really see why Marvel became Spudey. By this time he has outshined Ff all the way.

The new puppet master was kinda cool but Dr. Strange was really well done. I love this arc.

The iron man story was neat once underwater. The Senator character was just lame though. You can tell lots of Lee’s scripts bleed into one another especially with romances. The woman get rather annoying. The Captain story was Cracker Jack though. Love the whole thing. The grandiose of it all was so very Red skull.

Interesting issue where the four loose their powers. Overall the plot is well handled and when Doom shows up things get really bonkers.

Great flashback sequences in this one. You can feel the gothic ooze off the pages in this one. Truly sad horrific stuff in this. An all around great Frankenstein book.

Ok entry. Still has issues with the lead and the plot just isn’t moving along.

A fun read. The book moves at lightning speed but never gives up on characters. The art is good and everything blends well. Overall best series out there right now.

Just wild hokum. The plot is utter zaniness and feels just like the cartoons. I couldn’t help but read the captions like the narrator of Aquaman or Superfriends.

Both of Adam Strange adventures are fun to read. Lots of Psuedo Science going on and lots of coincidences help our hero along. Still though there is a certain enjoyment from these stories as they capture a feel of their times and just really tell a good yarn!

Ok read. It kinda goes nowhere but it’s not a full slog because the dialogue is so hideously funny. It’s as though Ed Wood himself was writing this.

Not the best book in the series but still fun. Though it is slowly loosing steam.

This book is just to meta. It is dealing with things that only we know about or care but also what DC has done with the characters. It doesn’t feel real or organic in any way. It literally pulls you out of the story and makes you ponder what is wrong with DC and it’s writers more than what is happening to the characters.

Great action throughout. Lots of treachery and guile in this one.

A couple of fun stories with the second one being better. Lots of good action.

The plot is going good and the writing is top notch. The art while great to look at has issues with continuity to the writing. It still at times feels disjointed, especially during fights. The back up was well done. Lots to unpack and look forward too. What once was a slog has turned into a fun read now.

Filler. Maybe this will work better in trade but as a standalone it just sits there and tries to be quirky. Dunno just didn’t work for me.

Story wise everything is humming along. I really liked the Lois parts. The art looks great but I’m sorry the action was rather confusing spatially. It felt very disjointed from the dialogue and what felt like was transpiring. The backup was just rather dumb. I mean really Jonn is talking about making new friends with friends clearly and pondering his existence as to why he’s lonely. Just dumb. Jonn has tons of friends and though he may yearn for Mars I thinks after darn near 69 years of comic history he’s moved past this.

Solid issue with lots of family dynamics. Overall a fun good read.

Lots of action in this one but overall the book gets to a revel that in some ways feels disjointed. And really like Deathstroke getting “killed”. Yeah I’ll believe that one. Lol. Entertaining book but I still feel could have been miles better.

Filler episode that ties up some loose ends to start some new ones. It was enjoyable but treaded to many time worn issues with Damien here that didn’t need to be done or gain ground on.

Lord Death Man was great in this one. I laughed a good one to this. Also there was some good character moments for Damien. The book moved at a solid pace too.

I wouldn’t call this an ending as a major thread is left hanging. Plus it literally has Damien acting like he’s going alone only to find out the series now called Batman and Robin. Ok. Otherwise the book was a good read for characterization and the fight with Death Man was funny. Overall very good series that just flattened out in the end.

The issue is fun to read as Spudy deals with a different antagonist, his mind. The villain revel is rather funny. Peters love life is a little disjointed and not as fun but overall good book.

Not a very good book at all. The art is not good in the least. The story is so so. A lot has to do that Carrick in of himself isn’t the best lead character. He needs the others to help him along. The morality in the book is all over the place which also doesn’t ground the book or storyline in any way.

An ok book. The twist isn’t as mind blowing as reported. The world building is still great but the whole middle with Ivy and Harley was just kinda stupid. It’s some really bad dialogue.

Typical Scooby action in both stories. Just a fun innocent read.

Ok book. It did nothing to share the Gardener in any way. It was more an Ivy book told by the Gardener. And what is with Batman being so ambivalent with villains.

A book where both stories go nowhere. Joker has been spinning its wheels and the quality has dipped into boring.

Hokey fun with the first story. The second story with Strange is really good. A nice battle with Mordo and a great little cliffhanger ending.

This one really conflicted me in giving a score. Both stories are told well but you also have to add in the whole arc as they also both end everything. So the first story is fast moving and wraps everything up but after where we have been this was literally a wrap up with lots of a middle part missing for me or last issue sucked so bad I forgot it. The second story ends with a gut punch. I literally lost the air in my lungs. I just don’t feel it was the proper ending after all of it. It’s a hammer over the back of your head but really when push comes to shove that’s it.

Very enjoyable read. Fun from beginning to end.

So I love the plot line here but the biggest burden that holds most Star Wars books back is that the authors really don’t understand light and Dark side enough. The author of this book isn’t the only one to do it. Good Jedi fallto the dark side too quickly or give in way to easy or in reality they are not morally but it’s presented as they are. It’s all done as plot convenience then some living breathing thing like Luke dealt with. But if you get past the fidillness of this the book is rather good.

Midnighter heavy book. Was decent enough. Lots of action and nice montage middle.

Enjoyable book. Lots of great interaction with Damian and mother.

Decent entry. Lots of news arcs are set up in this one. Overall this will read better as a whole when put together with the whole arc in place.

The whole book is about the changing of the guard. It’s entertaining but not the best and some of the dialogue is pretty dumb.

Nice Irgun story for Professor X. Otherwise not much goes on. Good cliffhanger for the next issue.

Ok book. Both stories move along just fine but lack some cohesion and jump around to much.

Decent enough book. Good action with a crazy insane villain. No more to be said.

The series started strong but is ending with a whimper. This book was literally incoherent. It was the kitchen sink effect with nothing sticking and just full of holes.

This really just feels like a morality lesson that really doesn’t understand what that is to work in the greats then a fully fleshed out story with a message. The characters do not feels like people but chess pieces to be moved into some space on the board to check mark a box the writer wished to hit.

Really good world building and storytelling in this issue.

The first story was mediocre at best. It was all over the place and The Bat Family really looked inept and the surprise at the end was eye rolling in the least. The second story is still good and Batman disarming our protagonist was interesting with a nice cliffhanger.

That was all kinds of cringe. I mean it was literally like watching Plan 9 from Outer Space bad. The dialogue is over the top bad and the art does nothing for me. Whoa boy I just shake my head on this one. Ha, ha, ha.

Slightly better then the last issue as this wasn’t an incoherent mess. It was just a mess. So I guess it’s got that going for it. The action was fine but oh boy the dialogue was just dumb. Starfires’ speech was next level word salad. It is literally filled with hypocritical statements that make her sound just inept and banal.

Decent enough ending with a nice cliffhanger. The last battle was pretty cool since the kids pretty much stole the arc.

I found the beginning entertaining until Nightwing got his butt handed to him. Really incompetent that just didn’t ring true and then the book just warps to the surprise ending that I just go yeah um no. The backup story was very good. I will say if the backup was put into a full length trade all by itself then I feel overall it will become a classic. Besides a few issues it has been continuously strong.

Decent enough ending to the story. Lots of good Alien action. Overall enjoyable 12 issue read.

The first story went nowhere. We finally are back to where we began. The last story was ok. It didn’t feel as natural as the last books but I am still intrigued to see where it goes.

Really not feeling it in any way. I’m just trying to get through Warworld. It’s such a slog.

Certain parts of this book felt rushed and a little gonzo for my tastes. When the book sliws down for characterization man does it shine. Overall still a fun read. One of the best series right now for sure.

A fun read that Wally’s kids are stealing in his book but right now it’s lifting the book.

All I can say is wow in the most negative way possible. This was not even a modestly mediocre book. I just shake my head.

The first story is avg at best. The second story was interesting. I liked it but it to was just average.

The first story was filler and really did nothing that we already hadn’t seen or read in the last issue. The score is markedly increased due to the second story. The second story was very well written and had a nice gut puncher of an ending.

A below average start to the further adventures of Zayne. The twist isn’t all that great and I get being a pacifist but the flip side an argument is made that the Republic navel officer is bad but in essence he’s also not wrong especially considering the end which then makes Zayne a complete doofus.

I enjoyed how Psycho Pirate got involved. But as for everything else going on around it it was slightly above average. The backup is one bad luck event after another for the boy who hates Bat. It to was average at best this issue.

It’s ok that about sums it up for me. There is a certain penache that Superman has that he doesn’t have here. It’s not his powers, not his hope. The writer to me keeps missing. The whole Superman needing training for Warworld fighting just came out very un Superman. I mean he’s not Batman detective qualities of intelligence but Superman knows people period. He’s supremely wise. I don’t care about him being depowered but I do when it come to being unwise just to advance a plot. Again if this was a book report and I was a teacher C-

Very good read that builds Damien’s family mythos. The series continues to be one of my favorites. Overall good stuff.

Again a nice build up of plot but due to already knowing where we are going it kinda loses its point and overall impact. The first backup story is decent enough. The third was an interesting intro to a new Worlds Finest. Overall an ok but engaging read.

Overall average book. Nothing really more to say.

An overall ok book with a lot of exposition. All in all this arc is just average at best.

I’m not feeling this arc all to well but overall this book was average at best. The cliffhanger was fine though.

A decent enough ending that finishes the arc and series on a fine note.

Though the story is rather redundant, the characters are well done and the story keeps moving with some good Alien attacks. Not everything adds up though but it is enjoyable on a primal level.

What a complete letdown. Not a good book or ending to the arc at all. Zayne is just a straight up doofus in this one. I just hate plots based on the really good guy buying into the really bad guy. I mean if this was Zane’s first adventure ever and he was naïve ok but to have this be pulled on him now after what he’s gone through yeah no not buying it. Just pure garbage.

Overall nice filler book. Zoe story is well told and Emily is still well written. The setup for the next bad is kinda a plot device. My only gripe is the issue really shows the semi archaic avenue of monthly books. In the full collected volume this will be wonderful. As a single buy not so much. But still you can’t go wrong with this series to much.

Fun romp thru a mysterious vale with a cool villain that Conan must face. The action is fierce and well done.

A very solid issue. The main story was involving and felt very Batfamily. I liked it. I wish we would of got this as a start instead of the way it’s been presented. The back up story has progressively gotten better after the garbage start. I really liked it. It alone by itself deserves a 10. Overall nice issue.

Decent book. Taylor does write Nightwing really well but like with a lot of authors now doesn’t really follow canon all that well which hurts the overall product. If you remove that then the book is pretty good but for me it pulls me out way to much. But if you can get over that hurdle then you will find enjoyment on this.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic #44 Jul 27, 2022

Interesting set up for the remaining story. I don’t know if I buy the villains motives on what they do but I’ll go along with it.

Fun romp through cursed ruins. The Gita monster fight is great and the overall adventure is fun with a nice cliffhanger ending.

Much better then the last issue. The setup is good but the payoff in the end is a little trite and hampers some of the build. The backup story was also better then last issue even though it’s a continuation but it felt more organic and real to the characters involved.

Well the comic does have plot for sure. To much of it. The characters don’t feel human in any way. They just feel like plot mechanisms. No real emotion or sense of being from anyone in this book. I mean these are The Batgirls who all know how to kick but; have been trained by the best of the best. What the heck does Barbara Gordon need to hold Steph and Cass hands for. I mean Cass could literally whip Babs butt in a straight up fight. It really is the downfall of the book that it doesn’t seem to know it’s characters at all.

The overall story is rather basic at best but it is done well. The art and fight that is central to the book is done well. Overall while still very good this comic is only average for this genre.

Great story about war. Loved every minute of reading it. Great art, great plot and great message.

All around great story and art. The whole story just flows from one scene to the next like a great movie. A true comic that can show others what the medium can really do with great storytelling.

Great lead up to an alright ending. The art is great and is getting better with every issue. Curious to see when Zakula appears again against Conan.

Average sword and sorcery tale. It’s done well but nothing special. It is still enjoyable and not ever story can be like the Tower of the Elephant. I can see why the first year of Conan though was so well received. Great stuff overall.

A great fantasy romp with great dialogue about being a free man. The art is good and the book moves along at a great pace. Only the end with the Ram feels a little off. Otherwise absolute fun.

Very good start to Conan. Lots of action and a decent story to boot. The art is ok but the colors spring off the page.

Pretty good issue. Lots of intrigue and machinations. The world building is decent enough all the while the story moves. So far both sides are wrong so that to me is the only downside unless something comes out down the line to sway it all. But I’m in for the next issue.

I’m a little conflicted with the start of this arc. The timeline jump was not handled very well and if there are flashbacks to what happened in between I say who cares because we know how it ends up so all tension is lost. If you move straight forward with this then there is a build up lose. I don’t mind the jump right into action but to just build the new Arkham and get it destroyed this quickly seems rather redundant and pointless. Well the art is fantastic. The back up story is not good. The boy literally saw The Joker kill not Batman. And why Arkham. Um isn’t there orphanages or other facilities. Again the art is nice.

This book is a mess. It’s all over the place. Goes nowhere and the art is as erratic as the writing. Plus all the meta writing going on just pulls me out. The characters talk as though they are in a comic not as characters with history. Boring and confusing. Not a recipe for anything good.

Who knew the end of the world would be so boring. Really you need Stitch to impart wisdom to the Titans. That sequence came off so bad and makes the Titans really look like amateurs. The series started off nice but has slowly eroded over time. To bad.

This issue is a little slow and tries like mad to sledgehammer the depression on to set up the final page. I mean I like the final of this book but it’s a slog. Warworld so far has been all over the place but it is nice to see Superman talk like Superman again. The art is awesome though. The backup story is just ok. I like Martian but like a lot of the backups they feel so truncated.

Standard filler issue with all setup for the next arc. Only important to set up Batman leaving Gotham. The art is nice so it helps the “story”.

Fun read. The art is also very well done. The story clicks at a nice pace and the kids part of it with the action log was well presented and fun. Overall worth the time to read it for sure.

Sometimes a comic just needs to be a comic and this has it in spades. Nothing fancy just all out ludicrous fun. The action is great. The book moves and sets up a new journey for Damien quite well. Overall one of the better consultant books out there right now.

Full of Memberberries with nothing to add. The ending really feels out of left field with there seeming to be a page missing to explain X actions. It seriously just jumps the shark of the hole Fearsome Five. Overall nothing happens in the book it just sits there and does nothing. Mediocre all the way through.

Yeah I’m not digging this run of the Hulk so far. There is a tone to the book that just doesn’t settle with me very well. Can’t quite put my finger on it but it just didn’t work. The art is nice and is the saving grace of the issue.

The first story of Iron Man has great action but goes against everything we know of Iron Man just so we can have a plot so in all a very weak Iron Man entry compared to some others. The Captain America story is full of action and just plain fun. It elevates the book tremendously.

Not the best x-men comic so far. The plot is rather limp and Stan Lee seems sapped out with this book. The action is ho him and the dialogue banal.

Just not funny and it literally feels like the writers no nothing of Christian teachings to truly elevate above stereotype pablum. It doesn’t come off as real or funny or ironic in anyway. I’d had preferred this be a Beavis and Butthead book. At least there I could bye the main character.

Pretty pointless comic revisiting the post events of the Killing Joke. It was just filler and not very interesting or good. It treading no new ground and Gordon just comes off as an ass. The Punchline story just straight up sucked. The moral question at the end was not good at all. It tries to come off as a Robin Hood and yes criminals can be nice but that doesn’t make them good. Big difference in that. Your not reformed. Overall completely pointless book.

Nice interaction between Carrick and Jareal. Overall a very talkative comic but it is never boring. Sets up lots of plots to come and possibly closes more. Overall good comic.

Interesting story of how the gang is going to bring down Jareal past The Crucible and how we get there is rather fun and filled with lots of action. Ends with a decent cliffhanger.

Somewhat entertaining one off story for the main characters. It’s a nice Serial Killer whodunnit with a decent enough twist. The art also is different in this one and more gritty I wouldn’t call it a total improvement.

Decent set up for the next arc. It’s a nice change of pace but I feel a lot of the action was left on the cutting room floor. There are some jarring transitions in this book. Overall good start.

A really good follow up to the last book. It’s a page turner. Over before you know it and in one sense that’s a good thing. Lots of stuff comes together very cohesively and lots of good stuff goes on.

Interesting ending to this mini arc with a great setup for Jareal. Overall this arc moved quickly and actually was one of the better ones throughout the whole series.

Overall decent story. Art is not my cup of tea. To cartoony and sloppy looking. The girls sometimes act out of character to further the plot but it is nice to see the Bat girls get their own book. Overall it may be light reading but it’s not tedious.

Daredevil gets his classic red outfit and puts up a good fight with Sub Mariner. The concept of the story is straight up Preposterous comic doom here but the overall book is awesome with great action. I’m not the biggest Sub fan but as an instrument for plot he works well here.

Decent enough GI Joe ongoing story. This part is a little talky but it entertains. Though I will say the Joes are a little brain dead especially for someone named Brainstorm.

Nice introduction to Barry Allen Flash. Not to much going on in relation to modern comics but still a fun romp. Second story a typical 1950 time travel tale with Flash mechanics.

The first story is just straight up goofy fun. Oh how the Super hero’s of this time had such insufferable “girlfriends”. Iris, Lois, Betty Brant. It really is comical to see how badly written they were. It doesn’t take away the fun because it’s so bad it’s good most times. The second sorry is great with Captain Cold. Bonkers from beginning to end. Highly enjoyable.

Basic Flash stories. They are fun and what you expect. Nothing great but still can’t go wrong diving into and enjoying.

The first story is typical 1950’s time travel and Gullivers Travels story. It’s fun but nothing to write home about. The second story has Dr. Alchemy and its fun. This story elevates the book tremendously. It’s classic Flash with great fiddle Science that makes Flash fun.

Hokey Flash Gordon wannabe Space Ranger comic. The stories are fun but Space Ranger is pretty square here. His sidekick Cyril steals the show.

Fun Rocket age romp thru space. It’s nice to see Myra get something to do even if it’s very little. Overall just a fun comic book with a neat little sci if plot.
