Reads every issue twice or more

This is one of the best and biggest Batman series you might come across in your lifetime. Enjoy it, treasure it and buy it now its available. You'll regret it if you don't.

I like when the second issue is better than the first one. Great read so far, although not ground-breaking (yet).

Its just ok, I guess. Nothing really pops out art wise nor it tells an exciting story. As a GL reader I imagen you're bias, but as a first reader... this is nothing special... at all... Compared to what the other absolute series achieved in their first issue, this is the weakest start of them all. I'll stick around and I hope it will only goes up from here on.

When Deniz Camp launches a new series these days, it’s almost mandatory to pre-order it. Martian Manhunter might not have been on anyone’s radar before, but now it’s impossible to ignore. Camp achieves something remarkable here, delivering a fresh and captivating take that truly stands out. As for the art, you might need some time to fully embrace it, but once you do, its unique style begins to make sense. While the series is undeniably impressive, I wouldn’t give it a perfect 10 just yet. I’m definitely invested and eager to see where it goes, but I wouldn’t say I’m counting the days for the next issue—at least for now.

My final thoughts of this mini series is: "This has to continue, this can't be the end". And this is kind of what you want after reading a series. I can't imagen not having this series in my PC. Some remarks: - They've took to much time between issues - This easily could've been an 15 issue series

Pheeww this was a strange issue and I wasn't prepared for it. Page after page I was wondering what tf is going on, but not specifically in a good way. Good art is always nice, but good art with a weak story... doesn't fix it. I really hoped to be on the ASM train again, but no.

The concept is easy to get you going into Deniz Camp Assorted Crisis universe. Although its not communicated as a universe, you can see the potential. Anything is possible and it's kinda all over the place: time, distraction, cuts, life and drama. That is a lot of fun, but also something to get use to. All-round a strong first issue and Deniz lives up to his promise! The next few issue will decide if this is a series has any potential to become a big Image title.

I couldn't connect with this issue at all. While it's visually stunning and showcases innovative storytelling, I found myself confused as a reader and unable to fully grasp the story. I really gave it a try, but it fell short of what I had hoped for after a great first issue.

At first glance, I was blown away by Scott Williams' colouring, wow, it’s just insanely good. And Jim Lee's artwork? As good as it gets. Sure, some might argue his best days are behind him, but honestly, it looks fantastic to me. Did you see how Talia is portrayed? Stunning. As the story unfolds, I found myself completely drawn in by the panels and the narrative. It really pulls you in, but before you know it, it ends with a message we already knew before even reading the book. Ending on such a predictable note doesn’t feel very satisfying, but overall, I’m excited to see where this story is heading next.

As a fan of the first issue, I get why this doesn't shine as we would've hoped it would. It doesn't spark, the story isn't mind blowing, the art is just solid... but we're not on the edge of our seat, holding our breath while reaching the end of the issue, need a minute to think it over after its done, craving for more... We wanted this, but they didn't deliver that. Let me be clear its not bad, but they didn't deliver on their promise.

My summary is that it is OK, but I'm not sure they wanted to publish a batman #1 that is just OK...? Art is fine, story is slow, the point isn't really there, for now. As this is prob a long ongoing series, they want to build up slowly...ugh I'm seriously thinking of dropping this series already

After the first issue, I hoped for better... sadly this batman series is simply not meeting up the quality expectations of a main Batman series. Sidenote: The art is flawless, as expected from JJ. But the story, djeeez, it is so so unworthy starting from issue one, continuing in issue two.

A very refreshing read that deservedly gets a second print. The concept is not new new but the approach, the art, the flow is captivating and unique on its own. I strongly recommend to get your hands on this issue.

First of all, I haven’t read the entire first volume, so there are a few spoilers in this issue. However, don’t let that stop you from picking up this read. This is exactly why you read comics—this is the high standard of writing and artwork that makes it worth your time and money. Once again, an absolute masterclass by David Walker, Chuck Brown, and Sanford Greene!

Uhg.. this is a hard read and I don't want to be this negative reviewer. But there is nothing, not even the cover, that is actually good. The storytelling is extremely off, the interior art is not what it should be,... Too bad because it feels like black cat and its fanbase really deserves a strong and mysterious storyline full of surprises and upsets. Missed opportunity

It kinda starts on a low note, but luckily it got better towards the end. You def can see the potential of a very fun and engaging universe but the next issues will have to crush it or I don't see a long future. Pressure is on

Did Chip Z. just got me into reading Captain America??? I honestly never thought that this would happen, but I'm along for the ride... if it stays at this (high) level. Damn you Chip XD

If you watched or played cyberpunk 2077, you're going to love this. These series are fun, full of action and pretty crazy! Simply a must

Old hero tales are hot and they're good. I would even say fantastic! The art style is reminds me of Frank Miller but it doesn't bother me as the story is amazing, just like the pace of it. You won't regret reading this series, a banger from start to finish.

A very though Genre to crack and they did it. The art wise it is just ab-so-lu-te-ly gorgeous, the story is brutal as it should be and everything works so well together. Really Really good

Some storylines just work and this whole universe that JT is creating, is just flawless. I love a good setting and thank God we got a big fat first issue to get through all the killer intro's. I'm ready to read this series from the beginning until the end and so should you.

When I spotted Patrick Horvath’s name in the pre-order list, I was instantly reminded of Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees. I regretted missing out on that gem, and I wasn’t about to let the same happen with Free For All. This story is an incredibly enjoyable read, showcasing Horvath’s undeniable talent as a skilled and innovative writer. While I did notice that the art isn’t as sharp as I had hoped, the captivating storyline more than makes up for it. Just imagine him teaming up with a superstar like Dan Mora—absolute fire! Beside this fantasy idea, this story is worth every second you spend on it.

When I head Wes Craig was the artist, I stepped out of my comfort zone and read an GI Joe issue. In totality the story is not a high flyer, but the action, the colours and the art is simply amazing. Everything you want from Wes C is in this issue, solid!

This was a far shot and in general it had some good elements. Like the pace is nice and easy to read but I couldn't get myself through the art style and I couldn't connect to the story or with the characters. Which is in my opinion a must in a first issue...

To be honest, I bought the Ferreyra for the cover art and it turns out to be a really nice comic issue! Of course the art is amazing, just as expected, but the story really gets you in the end. Happy to have this one in the collection.

I'm going to be honest, I was biased due to a good review... so my hopes were high for this one. Sadly it didn't convert my high hopes. I was hoping for something jaw dropping but this is just a fun silly one shot without any layer of story. That is all it is, just fun brawling emptiness. And you know what, sometimes that is just all you need.

I don't get it from the start until the end. Imo I wanted the history first and then the story, but now I felt like reading something I don't get and I was catching up on something I missed...? Maybe this series is not for me, it happens.

When Jonathan Hickman writes something, you can expect a solid story in return. Prices are always a bit higher but it's just worth it. The story needs some of your reading time but its needed for a major setup. The good thing is you can enjoy it with some amazing art. Do I want the read the next issue? hell yeah!

I'm surprised this series is not the talk of town. What a high level of display, on every level. An absolute must to read and I can't wait for more. If you doubt, don't. If you read it, you know.

I'm trying to capture this as a amateur reviewer: - She Hulk means = fun detective work, not to serious reading. So JH nailed that one. - Its has a completely different vibe than the imperial series. - Art isn't wauwie - Story wise its ok Would I still recommend it? Only when you're buying into the whole imperial war event.

Compared to She-hulk, this one shot is really good. It's on the same level as the imperial intro series and you don't want to miss this issue.

Good stuff! For me a bit tricky to read to be honest but it all comes together at the end.

When the second issue is better that the first, I'm very hopeful for the future. The art is so amazing, can't wait for more!!

I can't remember heaving so much fun that I wanted to read the back issues instantly. One of the best out there!

As Punisher fan, you bring expectations when picking up a comic like this. The team up of Jimmy and Dan sounds really promising, as you saw as well. After reading this issue I can see why some readers are not into it. It's different. The art style, the flow, the outcome,... My advise is to not overthink it and accept this storyline as new. It's a good comic issue and a good start of the series. Will this be a classic run? Most likely not. Have fun

I had high hopes for this series, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet my expectations. While I really appreciate the artwork, the storytelling just didn’t draw me in. After finishing it, I was left with the sense of a missed opportunity. A feeling I’ve had before with the Black Panther series.

I love to be surprised at NCBD and this one got me! There has been a lot of predator mini series lately but none of them felt like the real deal. This one does and I'm predicting this one is here to stay. In 10 years from now, new predators comic fans will find their way to this predator series and love it as we do.

Art is ok, story is ok, nothing special but you can't support this series. The end.

Ripperland second issue is first of all a fun and intriguing read. Although I was more excited after the first issue. The visual art is good, but not spectacular as I was hoping for...

- Art wise this is the best comic series of the year - Story it's awesome but for now the most unique concept ever. And so a subscription is earned.

Great debut issue from a very likeable spider character. If you're looking for a fun read, similar to Spider-boy... this a exactly what you have to read!

My first encounter with Street Sharks. It does reminds you like you're watching a 90's cartoon episode. The art is clean but not great, very cartoony of course. Story is just ok, great intro, a lot of chaos for the reader, bit over the top action and a classic ending. Cool. Do I recommend this? No Will you regret it? No

Another fantastic issue of TMNT featuring the stunning artwork of Juan Ferreyra – an artist I will definitely continue to follow in the future. Simply amazing! The story is well-built and deeply captures the strained relationships between the brothers, making them truly relatable and tangible. If you’re a comic fan, this is a must-read!

It can't get better than this. If there was an 11 I would rate it an 11.

The definition of a BADASS comic issue

It's the first time I seen or read Blue falcon and dynomutt. Great start!

Finally got my hands on it and it didn't disappoint. What a great and magical first read, full of nostalgia. This series takes you back 15 years, but things have changed. Changed like, everyone grew up or old but not Peter. Its a really interesting take, just like marvel does with Daredevil, Avengers: Twilight,... I am a fan of Dan Panosians amazing art and now I know he can write as well. Looking forward to the next issue. Salute.

I think we can all agree that the art is *ss. As the comic prices are going up, just an Alex Ross cover doesn't make the cut anymore. This is an ongoing series and I don't see a lot of people/readers picking up a second issue. Storywise is aight, just ok. Nothing new, mysterious and exciting.

Wooow this issue is a bomb of a read! It has a super nice flow and pace and of course you can expect some dog/security fight action. Trust me, you'll love every page of it and you'll crave for more.

I had no idea what to expect and it exceeded my expectations. It's a really good, smooth comic that brings an very cool idea to life. Looking forward to the next issue.

The first issue of UnChosen is solid, lets start with that. After reading it you kind of have to decide if this is a story that actually appeals to you or not. The concept isn't new, the art looks good, the action is exciting but not to much,... But is good, good enough? Imo it would hurt to buy issue #2 and see if the story levels up to a no brainer subscription. Expectations are set.

If you were doubting at the first issue, the second issue does make it easier. It reveals more what is at play and give you some idea what to expect in the future. The concept isn't mind-blowing new but the build up is always fascinating. I think you love it or you're not feeling it. I did definitely love it and I am looking forward to the next issue.

Final issue of this great and solid series. It does end on a high but its always been the end we expected to happen. So for that reason I was secretly hoping for another twist... One this is for sure. If it gets a second arc, I'm in!

A masterclass setup issue with some familiar teenage stuff. The art even stepped up a little notch, guess there was still room there... simply amazing. Very excited about this ongoing universe! The question is, why can't ASM be like this?

The moment I saw Jason A his name attached to this title, I knew this could be something good. The story is everything you want, that art is flawless, the pace is on point, its fun, action packed,... perfect. Buy it, read it, subscribe to the series and treasure it.

The art might just be a bit tough to swallow in the start of the comic if you're used to read only Spider-man comics. I assure you that this is an absolute amazing comic and you get used to the flow after a few pages. Not yet a masterpiece, but it has the potential!!

This second issue delivers everything I had hoped for! The world building is amazing and truly enjoyable to explore as a reader. The combination of stunning artwork, powerful emotions, and an engaging storyline makes this an exceptional series. This is definitely a series that's here to stay!

Imo this series goes toe to toe with Absolute batman, Ultimate Spiderman, Transformers and all the other big boys. It's amazes me to see how undervalued it currently is and how many people are not giving it the praise it actually deserves. It's clear to see that everyone who reads is, is an absolute fan though (pun). The crazy part is, its even getting better...! Can't wait for the final issue.
