Image has some of the best books I’ve ever read. Lately, they’re just proving that to be even more accurate. This book is definitely one of the better books I’ve read this week. You just HAVE to check it out.

Bottom line is, this series is amazing. It’s brilliant—genius, even. It’s a great way to nod to the brewing community and bring attention to the ever-growing population of drinkers and brewers. This comic is worth every second of the read.

Valiant is releasing some amazing books these days, and this has got to be one of—if not the—best. This series is dramatic in circumstance but lighthearted with humor. The creative team on this series is doing an amazing job of delivering talented, quality material that couldn’t bore you even on the 10th re-read. This is brilliant stuff that is well worth the read for anyone who enjoys a good story.

This issue doesn’t have too much exchange of dialogue, but it says way more than words could. We get to see Abe in new territory (even though it’s a familiar place). The creative team has done an absolutely fantastic job with this issue. In a word, it’s beautiful. Every Hellboy/Abe Sapien fan needs to read this.

This is a beautiful conclusion to a very beautiful miniseries. All ends are tied up with suspense and action. With Delgado’s illustrations and Hill’s colors, this issue is visually stunning. It isn’t easy to provide a complete narrative without any words, but Delgado does it, and does it well. If you haven’t read this series, you’re missing out.

This book is intensely honest and beautifully disgusting, but you still won’t be able to stop reading, no matter how much your eyes squint and body cringes. Instead of taking a Golden Age character and bringing his old self back to life in a boring reboot of adventures we’ve already seen, Robinson and Hinkle create a new work of art worth all the praise that it gets, and much more.

Robinson and Hinkle have created a confessional and bold account of writing this series, with tons of juxtaposition between our world and Airboy’s. This is entertainment at its finest, and the very peak of creativity. If you miss it, well, sucks to suck. So pick it up and be utterly blown away.

I have been a fan of the new Airboy series from issue #1. Greg and James create this series so perfectly, while in direct coordination with one another. The series brings back the old story of Airboy, while the creative team puts a modern and semi-autobiographical spin on it. This is definitely worth a read (for anyone over 18). I don’t care what genre you’re into or what you’ve heard about Airboy; I recommend it to each and every one of you, with the highest of regards.

This is a very artistic issue, in terms of both illustrating and writing. The whole Alabaster series is a good one, but you don’t need to have read it all to enjoy this miniseries. Kiernan definitely knows what she’s doing, and she creates an amazingly intriguing story for us to follow.

Aftershock is releasing a lot of really good books lately, and this is a great addition to their list. This issue is an amazing start to what I expect will be a really interesting series. Azzarello is doing a fantastic job of drawing us in, and it’s only the first issue! I can’t wait to see where he takes the series, and how his characters are interrelated, but I know it’s going to be good.

I am sad to say this is the end, but excited to say it’s the beginning of something else very special, unique, and just plain cool. Enjoy this book, and keep your eyes open in July for the all-new Archie.

I can honestly say I am thoroughly impressed by this issue and am insanely excited for the rest of this series. If you read Archie as a kid, even read one issue, you need to take a look at the new series. It is better than I expected, and there’s so much more to come. Here’s to our old friend and our new one, who will hopefully last all 666 issues that the original Archie did, if not more. Cheers!

This book is just one issue in a series of consistency and brilliance. Mignola, being Mignola, writes of the B.P.R.D. with ease and flow, letting us calmly but excitedly move from page to page with a hungering want for more. Instead of shoving a bunch of action at us, Mignola and Arcudi take their time to write out a story arc for us to be drawn into, and emotionally invested in—as much as Kraus is emotionally invested in finding himself and coming to terms with what he has done, as well as what he is yet to do. If you’re a Hellboy fan, you can’t afford to pass this book up.

I’m a big Mignola fan, so of course I’m going to recommend this book to all of you. If you’re into rather sophisticated horror (not just slashers with gore and violence), this comic is definitely for you. I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again: When a comic book can make you think beyond just the storyline, you know it’s a good one. This issue won’t let you down.

This is the last issue of Betty and Veronica, for now. An all-new Betty and Veronica series is on its way to fit in with the new Riverdale Universe. I’m stoked to see what shenanigans Betty, Veronica, and the whole Riverdale crew will get into. At least we know there is never a dull moment with these two friends running around town.

This is the best comic book I’ve read all week (competing neck and neck with Bob’s Burgers). Once I read the first bit of humor, I didn’t think I would like it too much (because I like my horror rather horrific), but hot damn was I proved wrong! This is definitely a fan of either genre. It has good storytelling through a flawless script, very telling artwork, and it’s a real treat to read.

This issue is a great way to add to the silliness that is Bob’s Burgers. For anyone who is already a fan, you can’t pass this one up. For anyone who wants to become a fan, these are three stories that will surely keep you entertained. The Belcher family as a whole is something we all need more of.

I’m looking forward to whatever battle will happen next issue. I hope the werewolves battle it out with the vamps; that would be a nice fight to see. It’s an age old conflict, but it never gets old. Next month, we get to see where the vampires reside! Keep reading, you little horror hounds, to see what happens next!

This has been my favorite series lately for a lot of reason. Minimalistic writing that still packs a punch, a dark and brooding tone, monsters taking over Earth (actually, monsters in general), artwork that isn’t as “polished” as mainstream comic books’ art, and so much more. If you’re into horror in the least bit, you can’t pass this series up.

These are some seriously righteous stories that are unfortunately justified to be true in the world today. It’s really upsetting, but honestly, I’m not sad after reading this issue. I’m pretty happy to see that I’m not the only one who thinks a lot of the world is unreasonable. Not only that, but these stories aren’t random tales told for the Hell of it. They have purpose and meaning; they make you think. It has been a long time coming, but the CBLDF has done a damn fine job of letting this industry finally get a hand at telling the truth. For anyone who is interested in current events/issues, you can’t pass this book up.

If you’re squeamish, try not to linger on the visuals that much. Overall, this book is perfect! The writing is so in depth and entertaining, and the artwork complements it perfectly. It’s a really nasty book that you have to read. It’s for your own good, I promise.

This is, without a doubt, one of this year’s must read books. I am astonished by this plot, surprised by its start, excited for more, and emotional just thinking about Wes Craven in general. Thank you, sir, for everything you have given us. We will always remember you—in the scariest of ways.

This is a fantastic issue, with six amazing stories to scare the pants off of you, and make your sides hurt from laughing. With so many writers and artists, Creepy has given itself room to experiment with different styles of this medium, and tell some really brilliant horror-comedy stories.

Creepy never lets me down in terms of mystery, horror, intrigue, and even laughs. This is a great issue to contribute to an already iconic series. I definitely recommend picking this up as soon as you can. Stay creepy, my friends, and read on!

This issue provides yet another amazing collection of Creepy stories for our enjoyment. This probably won’t scare you much, but it’s a bit unsettling, so beware. For all you horror fans who just can’t get unsettled anymore, this issue is a walk in the park. Sit back and enjoy the madness!

This is an essential read for any Daredevil fan. It’s brutal, honest, and just perfect. Soule and Garney are the perfect team to tell Daredevil’s story. This reboot is definitely one to keep up with.

Deadpool is a title I will always read. Now that Cable is in the picture, this should be one really exciting adventure. We’re only on issue #1, so keep up with the releases to follow Deadpool and Cable on this hilarious, action-packed journey!

If you like good storytelling, this is for you. If you like good artwork, this is for you. If you like horror, this is your holy grail. Enjoy it. Savor it. Love it.

This is going to be a fantastic series. It has so much depth to it. It's honest, brutal, and super entertaining. Trust me, you'll be enthralled from page one.

This is a really modern yet archaic take on the western (I know—oxymoronic; but you’ll understand once you read this book). This looks like a really promising series. If you’re a fan of westerns, horror, action, adventure, reading, life, anything and everything, you have to read this book. It’s the best thing I’ve read lately, and I’m already itching for more.

In the end, I’m just a really big fan of this series. There are so many elements of it that I can relate to, and that in and of itself makes it worth reading. The amazing writing and striking artwork/colors are a bonus, too. If you’re a college kid/recent graduate, or you’re just interested in and/or miss your college years, I’d say this book is perfect for you. Any “young adult” (I keep putting it in quotes because you’ll understand it, but I hate that term) will understand and respect this series.

For anyone who is in this stage of life, or wants a trip down memory lane, this series was meant for you. This issue alone brings hope to anyone who feels like giving up on something, just as Esther wanted to. It gives a good message in a funny and understandable way. The creative team does an amazing job, and I seriously couldn’t recommend this book enough.

Many hardcore Marvel fans might not enjoy the undoubtable fluffiness of this series, but it is a good series regardless. It still has action and subtle violence, but for the most part, it is just a cute story to follow about a tree named Groot.

I look forward to every single issue of this book because of how weird it is, despite the overdone pact-from-way-back-when/kid-must-die-when-they’re-an-adult theme. If you like creepy, eerie, gory, and scary stories, don’t hesitate to pick this one up.

This is a seriously humbling story about some insanely terrible truths. I cannot wait to read issue #2 to see how Josh handles everything that has just happened. As for now, I'm stuck with feeling angry (about the content) and impressed (of the execution). The creative team on this series has done a really amazing job of drawing us in. I have no doubt that more awesomeness is to come!

As you can imagine, with me being me, I geeked out way too much over this bi-monthly series, eager to read through the grossness of it all. If you’re even remotely like me, and have even one percent of my love for horror, you cannot afford to pass this series by. It’s too classic, too amazing, and almost too good.

I’ve tried to put all bias aside for this review, since I am a long-time fan of anything Hellboy related. Even so, this issue is a 10 out of 10 to me. Its pacing is perfect, it has intrigue, mystery, and a character we all know and love on an earlier mission with the B.P.R.D. If you’re a Hellboy fan, or want to start being one, this issue is the way to go. You will not be disappointed—not one bit.

Being a long-term fan of Mignola, I think all his work is amazing. This issue in particular is filled with such twists, so much morbidity, blood, anguish, and a lot of foreshadowing. Mignola has really outdone himself. I can’t wait to read more Hellboy in Hell material.

Hexed is one of those storylines that is so interesting that I can’t put it down for even a second. It’s the perfect crime-infused magical plot, so much that it feels as if this could actually happen. Between the art and action, the plot starts to make you feel as if you’re watching a movie—one of those movies that leaves you itching for more when it’s over.

This is some of Tomasi’s best work to date. This is an intensely atmospheric, dark, horrific, macabre, and almost philosophical comic book. After I finished reading it, I couldn’t stop thinking about it for a good long while. I hope we get to see Sarah’s demons come to life. Keep reading if you do, too.

This series is building up the horror with every issue, and this issue finally showed us just how bad things are getting for both Sarah and Warren. I’m excited to see where things go from here and how Sarah is going to handle them. For any and all horror fans, you can’t pass this issue up.

This is a beautiful, sincere, heartwarming story, and I can’t wait to read more of it. Millar has created an amazing character, and his life is about to get turned upside down.

This series keeps getting better and better. The plot has just taken a HUGE twist, and I am beyond excited to see where Millar takes things. Of course, I’ll always be on Huck’s side. Tom sucks. That being said, this issue is one of the best yet. If you haven’t gotten into this series, now is your chance! Start reading before we delve really deep into the plot.

I am so, SO impressed with this issue. It’s filthy, it’s funny, and it’s beautiful. If you’re into fantastical and satirical stories, you can’t miss this issue. Skottie Young has really outdone himself here, and I couldn’t be happier for him. Not to mention, we get an AWESOME new series.

I am both disturbed and insanely impressed by this issue. I almost can’t fathom how talented both Bennett and Kristantina are. Their work is so in sync, that the pleasantness of the story and the disgustingness of the twists are shown perfectly through both the writing and artwork. This issue blew my mind, and I am beyond stoked for the rest of this series. If you like gore, revenge, and mainstream portrayal of homosexuality (way to go, Bennett), you HAVE to read this issue. This proves to be a great horror series.

I have to admit, I'm not too into superhero comics, and I never have been. Invincible is one of the few that can actually keep my interest, especially now that we're on another planet. Earth isn't boring or anything, but other planets are just more entertaining. That being said, this story is appropriate for new Invincible readers as well as the diehard fans that have every issue. It'll give you a mix of emotions and an overall good read. Now is the perfect time to start following Mark Grayson on this new chapter of his life.

Anything that has Jim Henson’s name on it is good in my book. Regardless of labels or franchises, however, this series is definitely looking to be a good one. An old man telling his dog stories—what more could we ask for? This is a must-read for anyone and everyone.

I’ve been looking forward to this book for quite some time now, and it was well worth the wait. I’ve just read an exceptional book about an absorbing storyline. I’m actually sort of bummed that I’m done reading it already. You get my point: this book is awesome, and it will do you well to read it.

This series is picking up with plenty of good and entertaining material. This issue served as a way to get us to understand/trust John Flood. From now on, hopefully we can stay focused on the serial killer. Although, catnapping is fun to read about, too. There was no animal cruelty or anything gruesome of that nature, so this issue was a good read. Jordan is doing a magnificent job of developing these characters and making them work well together in the process. I’m already itching for issue #3!

This issue went by fast, but I think that's just because I was eager to read as much as I could as fast as I could. I'm pretty bummed that this series is over, solely because the characters are so easy going and loveable. Jungle Jim the miniseries is over, but here's hoping we get some more of this coolness!

This book is the most perceptive I’ve read in a long while. Kot forces us to think about what is happening in the book, and how it relates to our modern world—and trust me, it does. I’m not going to get into the politics of it all, because my fingers might bleed from all the typing I would do, but I will say that this book sheds an immense amount of light on recent events and situations that we all have either seen, heard of, or been a part of. This book will make you THINK. With that, I pay my respects to the people whose names are mentioned in this book, and I trust that you all know a good comic book when you see one; pick this up, and get Google open to do some research as you read this phenomenal, socially accurate, heartbreaking, brutally honest series.

Fingerman’s writing is, I’ll say it again, extremely real. He shows us situations that we ourselves have been through, are going through, or will go through, and gives very plausible outcomes from those situations. The language is natural and fluid, as is the artwork. Fingerman isn’t afraid to show the ugly side of his characters, and that, the normalness of this book, is why I love it so much—and so will you.

This book is brilliant"a diamond in the rough, I'd say. Every now and then, a book like this will appear. One that's different from what you're used to reading. One that leaves you thoroughly satisfied. This is that book. This book is definitely a must-read.

Together, Lindsay and Gieni make an amazing team while creating a talent-filled, realistic, and gorgeous comic book with Negative Space. Regardless of your “style,” you should definitely pick this up and give it a shot.

Guy’s caption boxes let us know exactly what he is thinking, and a lot of it reigns true for anyone who has experienced depression. We look back a lot, instead of to the future. We dwell. We let it get the best of us. Thankfully, that changes up a bit in this issue. My point is, Lindsay really understands and portrays depression in a truthful light. It gets a lot worse than what we have seen, but I’m glad it’s at least being shown. It doesn’t make us “crazy,” but simply a little different (in a bad way, unfortunately). Either way, this is a damn good issue that adds to an already amazing series. Trust me, you’ll love it.

This is a great series for anyone interested in the macabre. Norman is a series that will disturb you and still be able to tug on your heartstrings. This is a delightfully eerie story of one boy that is daring to be himself in a world of normalcy. Pick it up at your local comic book shop and enjoy the gory awesomeness that is Norman!

This series is amazing. It combines two of my favorite things in life: comics and music. The second issue is a really great addition to a series that was already amazing to begin with. I cannot wait to see if Emily can escape the screen and save what little of the Coven will be left by the time Claire is done with it. This is definitely a series to keep up with.

Moore does an amazing job at writing an intricate and interesting story that delves into the depths of this fictional mystery, and real Lovecraftian and occult topics. Burrows’ artwork perfectly depicts the time period, and draws us into the story with an unrelenting grip. If you’re a fan of horror, Lovecraft, Moore, and just good storytelling, you have to pick this up. Seriously, it’s for your own good.

There are hidden messages in the writing and artwork. The protagonist is a Lovecraftian character who goes against Lovecraft’s beliefs. He’s writing a book that takes him to a place with fish-people. Alan freaking Moore writes this series. I don’t think I have to tell you to read this issue/series, but I’m going to go ahead and do it anyway. This is the most interesting series I’ve been keeping up with lately, and your life needs it, even if you don’t know it yet. Pick it up and give it a read, then tell me it disappoints you; I dare you.

To wrap things up, Erik Larsen is the man, and Savage Dragon is the shit. This issue takes us into the mindsets of different teenage kids, through a sociological lens of sight, and drops us off with more empathy than any other book I’ve read—and if you haven’t heard of this book until now, your life is about to get a lot better.

This is yet another flawless issue to add to the Savage Dragon series. Malcolm's life isn't slowing down any time soon"poor guy"but that means a ton more stories for us. It's only getting better from here!

This is starting out to be a really interesting series. I’m so excited to see how Ray is going to fix all this. I’m willing to bet this series is going to be a huge success!

Clearly, this is where the excitement begins. I am beyond stoked to see where this goes, and how all our questions are answered. This is definitely a book you need to check out.

I’m excited to see where Jordan will take this series next. Hopefully we’ll see No back on his feet soon enough. For the time being, I’m actually okay with delving deeper into Jack’s character, as well as seeing what the Professor is capable of. This is turning out to be one Hell of a series. Keep reading to see what happens!

Modern journalism is put under the microscope, as is a truly messed up idea of Wood’s, that has come to life not by solely words, but by the characters that Wood has created to help him tell the story. I’d say the first issue was a success, and I’m sure the subsequent issues will be, too.

This is a really great group of misfits. They seem like the most genuine, sincere, and honest people (and it’s sad that the outcasts are the ones that seem sincere and cops seem like jerks) that I would love to befriend. We love Tank Girl, we’re invested in her life, and we want her to succeed. Now that the group is back together, they’re bound to get into some crazy situations, and I can’t wait to read about them! For an action series sprinkled with a lot of humor, this series is definitely the way to go.

Sabrina, the Teenage Witch is something I’ll never forget. It’s something I grew up with, and am still growing up with. To see it being transformed from comic to live action TV show to animated TV show to film and spin off comic books is something so profound that I can only explain it as something I am truly thankful for and honored to see happen. I didn’t write these comics and scripts; I wasn’t a part of the production of these stories, but with a character like Sabrina, I feel like I am a part of it. She isn’t just a character, she’s someone I know—a friend. To anyone who feels the same way, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will not only give you the frightening Sabrina story you’re looking for, but bring a smile to your face.

This is lighthearted book on the surface, but within lay life lessons, amazing storytelling, and thoughts to keep your mind occupied for days. This book is similar to other Boom! books, namely under the Arcadia imprint, but it does have an element of uniqueness that makes this graphic novel a must-read for any and all of you.

This is one of the best comic books I’ve read this week. It’s so smooth, steadily paced, and silly. There is a lot of humor in it, even if the main characters’ mission proves to be one of the direst. I’m stoked to see what happens to these guys. They’re in one tough situation, and I have no idea how they’re going to make it out—but I can’t wait to find out!

This is a really cute book that's a load of fun to read. It certainly gives the term "hero" a new meaning. If you're into Halloween, good storytelling, fun artwork, and generally good books, this is a must-read.

For anyone looking to read something with a lot of action and adventure, this is it. It’s an unconventional book about superheroes catching superheroes in debt catching villains. This is one of the best books I’ve read this year, and I really can’t wait to see where the series goes from here. As long as Cates and Rahal keep up the witty dialogue and emphatic characterization, I will be a fan of this masterpiece.

To say this issue is a success is a gross understatement. To say next issue won't be good is just the same. We have a lot of reactions to look forward to, and I can't wait to see how it all goes down. Now is the time to engross yourself in The Walking Dead. Join the fandom and read along!

This book was meant to be a sort of reality check for all of us. Technology isn’t as bad as drugs, but it alters the mind, causes short attention spans, lessens impulse control, etc. It’s absolutely disheartening, seeing the connections between drug addiction and technology addiction. As for the story, who knows where it’ll go from here? I have a feeling Remender has some surprises for us, and I’m stoked to see what they are!

This is, surprisingly, a Secret Wars tie-in. We don't see any reference to Battleworld, their domain, or God Doom, and I really like that. Honestly, I'm a little sick and tired of hearing about all that. It's refreshing to see a story take place in that world, without referencing the mainstream titles or characters. Ennis does an impressive job of making this issue humorous rather than offensive, adding in the tropes and Amazonian stereotypes we know. Even so, this script would be nothing without Braun's truly amazing artwork. It has movement, emotion, naturalness, action, and comedy, all in one issue. This isn't an issue (and a series) that you want to miss.

Wolf Moon is worth reading for any horror comic fanatic. The werewolf is enough to grab attention, but no one could have guessed what monster is lurking within it!

Sera and her band of misfits are dedicated to fighting billionaire corporations while assisting the disenfranchised, through their own unorthodox ways. This is 80+ pages of complete and utter AWESOMENESS, not to mention some ideas that will leave you thinking about them for hours after you're done reading. For anyone (over 18) out there, this is definitely worth a read. I haven't enjoyed a comic book this much in a while, so open your mind, and give this gem a thorough reading!

Giving these classic characters new and different stories is something I wasn’t sure would work, but Marvel seems to have done a very fine job of it. It’s neat to see these characters without all the high tech stuff they have in the future Marvel stories. I’d say issue one is a success!

I’d definitely say that the first issue is a success. I’m beyond stoked to read more; things can only get more intriguing from here. I’m bummed that Mary-Maria is such a jerk (it like really, really made me sad), but I’m looking forward to seeing how she’s going to use the satchel to her advantage. As for Armstrong and Archer, they’re in a bit of trouble right now, so it’ll be cool to see how they handle it together. This duo is strong, and definitely worth following.

This series has very quickly picked up the pace. We’re already seeing a lot of action, adventure, commotion, and a ton of awesomeness. I cannot wait to see more of these guys’ adventures. We’re only at issue #2, so you have time to catch up and keep reading along; you will not be disappointed.

Molina’s artwork is just as telling as the dialogue, like when Sister Grimm blames She-Hulk for Ms. America’s fate. Each character shows expression more than I’ve seen in a lot of comics these days—Molina goes above and beyond the call of duty here. Basically, this is an amazing comic book, and women in leadership positions is becoming a big thing nowadays. Yay, feminism! You should definitely put this book on your “must-read” list this year.

A-Force is quickly turning into one of my favorite comic books, not because they’re all women, and not because there’s good action in the storyline (both are true), but because the book itself is always aesthetically pleasing, and written in such a way that it pushes me to keep reading. Upon first looking at issue #1, I knew I was going to like this series, because it just makes me want to read it. If you haven’t started the series yet, get on it, man!

This series has been absolutely EPIC over the past four issues. There has been so much emotion and so many feelings across the board of A-Force members, and it’s awesome to see that despite it all, they are still able to work together to protect their home. Keep reading to see how these women take on a horde of flesh-eating zombies.

This story is just as fun and upbeat as the issue itself. Jacobson’s writing very much so resembles the tone of Adventure Time, as well as his artwork. This issue is overall filled with laughs and suspense. I might be biased, seeing as I’m a long-term Adventure Time fan, but this issue is definitely worth checking out, and the series itself, too. If you get the chance, pick it up and let us know what you think!

This is an incredible addition to the Adventure Time label. Marceline has always been my favorite character, and it’s awesome to see her in such a vulnerable position, gaining power as she deals with it. Hanna K has done a great job with this one-shot, making it a truly awesome read—crucial for any and all Adventure Time fans!

When you think of Adventure Time, you usually think of “Jake the Dog and Finn the Human,” rather than “Marceline the Vampire Queen.” This story is interesting for all Adventure Time fans, but if you love Marceline as much as I do, Adventure Time: Marceline Gone Adrift is definitely for you.

Overall, I think it was a great idea to bring back a classic comic book and reboot it as a horror genre book. This is something we don’t see too often but, when done right, can be a raging success. I think that’s what we have here, with Afterlife with Archie. Needless to say, I recommend this book for anyone who used to read Archie, or anyone that wants to get into Archie.

Afterlife with Archie is just getting good, and things are taking a pretty big shift. Will Archie go after Reggie? Will Reggie defy his friends? Anything could happen, so keep reading and see what happens in the afterlife, with Archie and his Riverdale friends!

I highly recommend this book to any and all X-Men fans. It lives up its predecessor’s legend. Anyone who read the ‘90s version will be pleasantly surprised as to how intricate and amazing this new series is coming along. New fans will love it just as much as older ones loved the original, and then some. Check it out!

This comic book, though silent, is one of the best, most suspenseful, beautiful and majestic books I have laid my eyes upon. However, in order to appreciate and understand the cinematic feel to it, you need to set aside time to look very carefully at each panel, so as to fully comprehend what is going on. This isn’t a book to go through quickly, just because there are no words. And if you have the time to really enjoy it, I recommend it for every single one of you, no matter what your “style” of book is.

This series is already getting really intense, and we're only two issues in! That gives you plenty of time to catch up with future release dates. These are some iconic characters, in some pretty dangerous situations. There's bound to be a lot of action next issue, so stay tuned!

Issue #3 of Age of Ultron vs. Marvel Zombies is a success! Robinson and Pugh make one damn good team, and make this series as amazing as it is. This series will complete your life. Go pick it up and give it a read. Right now. Seriously, now. And…BREAK!

This miniseries has been a joy to keep up with. It’s a really intense and unique storyline that creates a whole new type of enemy. How cool is that?! Freaking zombies and robots; I can’t get over it. But once again, the heroes triumph. Well, it’s up for debate. Ultron and his army took a hit, but the heroes took an even bigger one, I think. Either way, this is one really awesome issue, and a great way to close out the series.

I think I was right in predicting this to be an incredible series. We now have characters that are getting closer with each other (James and Airboy’s in-depth conversation), and new levels of characters that we haven’t yet seen. Airboy is exhibiting not only anger, but revenge. James even cries in this issue because he thinks he is bipolar, but he’s too scared to be medicated. From a medicated bipolar person’s standpoint, the tears are understandable. The characters are no longer dorks doing drugs; they’re turning into real human beings with emotions, who make mistakes and learn from them. It can only get better from here, so tag along for the awesomeness that is Airboy!

Anyone who is even remotely a fan of the Aliens franchise needs to read this series. There are so many elements to just this one issue alone. We have suspense, horror, violence, atmosphere, AI, high technology, and a journey to save the human race. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone and everyone interested in any of the aforementioned aspects of the series.

This is the start of an amazing series. I was a big fan of Logan as Wolverine, but Laura seems to be doing a good job thus far. For any fan of Wolverine and/or X-Men in general, this is a must-read.

This issue is more lighthearted than a lot of Batman stories we’ve seen. Snyder has showed us even more of his talents, and takes us on another crazy series with the one and only Batman. For fans of Snyder’s work and Batman as a whole, this is a must-read issue. You’re going to get a taste of Batman like never before, and I promise you’ll like it!

As we all know, I'm big on nostalgia, and I'm a big '90s kid. That means I grew up with Peter and Mary Jane's relationship. This book hits home, in the best way possible. It's a heartfelt progression of a beloved character, over the span of what his life would have been like if the '90s Spider-Man stories carried out. This is a beautiful representation on one aspect of Peter Parker's life, and I can't wait to see where it goes from here. If you support Peter and Mary Jane's relationship, this book is definitely for you.

This is a great start to what I expect will be an amazing series. Bennett is on my top 10 writers list, so I have no doubt that she’ll answer all our questions in due time. To comic lovers and animal lovers alike, you’ve got to give this issue a read.

This series is definitely worth the read, but must be read with a clear mind, in order to soak in all the weirdness and uniqueness of it. It has a very non-commercial aesthetic, and an intense script. Pick it up as soon as possible, and enjoy!

This is a really fun, short Ant-Man story. You don't need to have read any Ant-Man stories previously to understand this one, so that's always good for Marvel newbies. For a really fun story that you don't need to research to understand, this issue is definitely the way to go.

It’s a difficult task, taking such an old and cherished character, and turning him (and his friends) into something completely different. Be that as it may, Waid and Staples are definitely the right duo to take on the challenge. So far, I’d say the all new Archie series is doing pretty well, and is giving us a brand new character, with the same old goofy-but-cute characteristics. If you’re an Archie fan, or ever were, you can’t pass this one up.

This series has been off to a great start. It’s not easy to reinvent a character as classic as Archie, but Waid and Staples are making it look effortless. I can’t wait to see what Waid has in store for us in the future. Judging by what we’ve seen so far, it’s going to be good!

Needless to say, this issue is a really good one. We get to see the history of present day Riverdale, and boy does it tell us a lot. I'm really curious to see what Betty, Jughead, and Reggie have planned for Archie and Veronica. There's no turning back now! If you even moderately like(d) Archie, you can't miss this awesome new, revamped series.

Archie is a classic series that Waid has taken to revamping for us. Thus far, he and the several artists he has worked with have done quite an amazing job of keeping things relative to the original while revving it up a bit. Nothing has been too safe or too “out there” for me, so I’m content with the speed Waid is moving the series here. For any and all Archie fans, this is a series you just can’t miss.

This issue is a great way to showcase Archie and his friends and their respective personalities. For anyone who is, by chance, just getting into Archie, this series is a great way to start. For any long-time Archie fan, this series is your chance to see what Archie is turning into. It’s great to see that such classic characters are still as popular and alive as ever, and I can’t wait for more!

The creative team on this series is doing a brilliant job at bringing Archie and his pals to life. It’s difficult to re-imagine such a well-known and revered series, but Waid and Fish do it with ease. I fully recommend this issue for anyone with even the slightest interest in Archie.

This is a great issue for any Archie fan. I’m really hoping that we’ll see some new developments with Archie and Betty. Jughead had maybe one line in this issue, so it would be great to see him more, too. Bottom line, the plot is thickening, so keep reading to watch the madness unfold!

Bottom line, if you like weird and cool things, this book was made just for you, with love and care and awesomeness. So pick it up, and prepare to be amazed.

Armor Wars doesn’t directly tie-in with Secret Wars, and I’m very thankful for that. I’m glad that we don’t see Victor Von Doom lurking around the corners of Technopolis, and Stark has jurisdiction here (under Doom, of course). Overall, this is a truly different and independent book, that I’m more than excited to see more of.

This series has consistently impressed me, and not just because I’m a fan of Hellboy. This is a truly somber issue about a ghost that isn’t necessarily evil, but knows what it wants. It’s a very entertaining and enthralling story that won’t let your attention go.

It looks like this miniseries is going to dish out some action, adventure, and the mysterious tone of the Mignolaverse that we all know and love. This book is a great example of the awesomeness that Dark Horse will be releasing, and an amazing example of how amazing Mignola’s work is. Check it out!

This is a simple issue that takes me back to the Batman TV show. This series is a great one, especially since you don’t need to read one issue to understand the next. These independent stories really help show off Batman and Robin for the heroes they are. It’s a must-read series for any Batman fan.

This is a really interesting one-shot that reveals a lot about Robin. The creative team has done a seriously epic job of writing and illustrating a story that leaves an impression. When I think about Batman, Robin’s name comes to mind naturally. If you’re the same way, you can’t afford to miss out on this impressive one-shot.

This is a great issue that brings the gang back together for another nearly impossible endeavor to save the town, more or less. It should be really interesting to see how Betty and Veronica deal with their clashing viewpoints. Hopefully, Pop’s can still benefit from their fighting. Archie and Jughead make really good supporting characters, and Betty takes the lead in this issue. I’m hoping we get to see more of Veronica next issue. For any Archie fan, this is a must-read!

Although all four main characters are kind-hearted and realistic people, I personally think they’re going to go for it. You can only go so far without money, and these old actors (and one actress) sound desperate. Despite the fact that robbing San Diego Comic Con is a not-so-bright idea, they seem like smart people, and will go about it in a tactical way. Honestly though, I have no idea if they will get away with it. There are two outcomes, and I’m 50/50. But, I’ll tell you this much: I can’t wait for issue #2 so I can see what happens!

At times, the work that Wiesch put together is almost too graphic for me. Clearly not one for the kids. In any case, it’s an amazing book with an incredibly true take on trauma, and should be read by the adult comic book readers out there—although even you might have to shield your eyes from some panels. It’s creepy, scary, eerie, twisted, and perfect.

I’m going to miss Big Man, but who knows if we’ll see more of him in the future? Hopefully he’ll get his own ongoing series instead of just a miniseries of four issues. As gory, violent, and disturbing as this comic book is, I can’t seem to get enough of it. Either I’m really messed up and deranged, or this is one damn fine book. I like to think it’s the latter. If you don’t have a weak stomach, I definitely recommend this one.

With this zany brand of humor, an action-filled plot, and insanely emphatic illustrations, this series is one that every Bill & Ted fan needs to read. There is only one issue left, and I’m so excited to see what happens to Bill and Ted. Will their children actually kill them? Will the Reaper save them? Will they find a way out? Can they save Heaven? Keep reading to find out what happens in Bill and Ted’s latest crazy adventure!

The bold colors, surreal plot, and sheer emotional drama make this issue a must-read for any and every fan of the Bill & Ted franchise. This series has been truly ethereal, and without spoiling the ending, I’ll just say that the end of the series is not going to disappoint you.

Whether you’re looking for a new story or a sentimental throwback, Bill and Ted’s Most Triumphant Return is the best way to go. You’ll tear up from the nostalgia, and laugh from the sheer ridiculousness. Either way, you’ll have a good time.

There is a fair bit of background detail, adding to the realism of the story. Overall, though, the artwork isn’t too realistic. The entire issue has a mysterious tone to it, like we’re supposed to be waiting for something disastrous to happen. Following this unorthodox family as they live their everyday lives is actually quite interesting, given the scope of different personalities and characterizations. Things are only going to get more exciting, though, when the secret of their location and identities is threatened. The suspense is killing me! Read along to see how these heroes handle the next part of their lives together as a team.

This is one of the most enthralling comic books I’ve read this week, so if you get the chance, pick it up and enjoy!

This is a great start to a story that I genuinely hope I get to see more of. It's dark, creepy, real, and mysterious. I'm already intrigued, and I don't think I'll stop any time soon.

For any Bob's Burgers fan, you'll know that this story isn't like the TV show in that it is really "out there." The TV show is a more realistic show in terms of concept. It deals with everyday situations"not being able to pay your bills, going to school, running a business, being a parent, etc. the kids are eccentric, but the comic book series always takes things a step further. So, fans of the TV show will be in for a nice treat when the three kids get into even more crazy antics here than on the TV. I definitely recommend this issue for any and all fans of Bob's Burgers"especially people like me, whose spirit animal is the one and only Louise Belcher.

Overall, I’d say this first issue is a success. It draws readers in and keeps their attention. At the end, there is a little twist, and the consequences of that twist is what we have to look forward to. I think this is going to be one awesome series, so keep up, and share your thoughts with us!

Bottom line is, you need to read this series. There isn’t much originality in horror anymore, but this is a pretty damn original story line. Coupled with some brilliant and emotional artwork, it’s some of the best modern horror I’ve read in a long, long while.

The second I saw “Bruce Lee” in the title of this issue, I knew it was going to be absolutely EPIC. I never thought Bruce Lee and sci-fi would mix together so well, but they do! I know there are tons of Bruce Lee fans out there. All of you need to read this issue and see Bruce Lee back in action—The Dragon Rises!

Captain Canuck is the perfect upbeat, non-brooding superhero that every kid"and yes, even adult"should know about. This is a series that I want to keep up with, and I don't usually actively keep up with much. If you're looking for a good superhero book that's not as mainstream as the usual Avengers and other Marvel heroes, this is it.

This issue is a freaking brilliant. The creative team has done an amazing job creating a protagonist that sticks with us even after we finish reading, and I am already itching for more!

This issue is a great way to kick off the new series, with its action-packed war zones and internal turmoil. The Blue is suffering from lack of resources and The Iron is suffering from overpopulation and lack of space. It’ll be interesting to see how Rogers and Stark work this all out together—if they do. Who’s to say what Captain America has up his sleeve for Iron Man to face? How will he end the war? How will Stark colonize his people afterwards? You’ll have to keep reading the series to find out!

This series was a really good idea, pitting Cap against Iron Man, and fan against fan. Each issue’s cover has the question, “Whose side are you on?” on it, and it’s a valid question at that. If you’re not already reading the series, it’s about time.

Overall, this issue is a really interesting one. There are some questions we are left with that will surely be answered in future issues, but for now, we’re at the beginning of one of the biggest war that Battleworld has seen thus far!

The creative team behind Memetic has brought us another seriously epic series. This series explores our want for control, our idea of a perfect world, and the consequences that come with playing “God.” Everyone believes they will always depend on themselves, but that isn’t the case in Cognetic. This psychic story is definitely one to keep up with.

This issue was a great way to end the series. It is nothing short of incredible, and I fully recommend that everyone (over 16ish) gives it a solid and attentive read.

Convergence marks an event like no other. A merging so monumental that it cannot be ignored. The universe is in danger, and the cities’ citizens even more so. Read along to see what happens to them, and if Superman has any say in their fate.

Godlewski’s artwork is clean and neat, without too much shadowing to create any sort of dark atmosphere. He is detailed, but not too detailed so as to take more attention than the script. He creates creatures that we’ve never seen before in a town that we’ve never heard of, so that we will be more interested to hear about something new, and he does it extremely well. This one is definitely on my top 10 this week.

This book touches on serious issues that happen in society today as well as decades ago, like the concept of cults, lack of funding for college programs, modern science, and the overall thought process of the young adult. It’s a great and fun way to learn a lot of interesting things and enjoy a really intense yet funny story. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in the aforementioned concepts.

The creative team working on this series is seriously on point. This issue is a fantastic way to further the story and show how harsh this trip will be for Fira and Aldrich. So, keep reading, and take the journey with them! This issue comes out on June 1st from Titan Comics, so make sure to grab a copy and see what havoc awaits you!

Dead Vengeance is probably going to become my new obsession, because it brings together two of my favorite genres, and it does so really well. For anyone who just can’t decide between horror or crime, you don’t have to! Pick up this gem of a book and get to reading!

This is a great series that keeps getting better and better. We finally get to see a zombie story from the point of view of the zombie. Morrison and Rodriguez work together to create a really unique and interesting story. I’m stoked to see how Morrison wraps up the series in issue #4. Keep reading to see!

Overall, this book is AMAZING. Craig’s artwork just brings everything together, even when Marcus’ faux ghost rises up to the “normal” world, and he [doesn’t] live(s) among the people he sees every day. Remender’s writing is so natural and fluid that it’s almost eerie, how well he knows what these teenage kids would say, in any given situation. It’s just so amazing and you have to pick it up or else we can’t be friends, bye.

This issue brings in a darker tone to the Deadpool series, showing a side of Wade that we barely ever catch a glimpse of. The creative team has done an amazing job of showing his vulnerability. This is a brand new way of looking at Wade, and all Deadpool fans need to read it to see that he isn’t just a mouthy dude who kills people.

It’s going to be really cool to see Deadpool and Thanos work together. I was kind of looking forward to the two of them battling it out for Death’s love, but a tag team with them doesn’t sound too bad, either. With Deadpool’s fast moves and Thanos’ raw power, this series is bound to have some memorable moments. Keep reading to find out how these two work together!

This issue has so much action and adventure in it. Deadpool and Thanos are well on their way to finding Death and restoring the balance on Earth. We have something to look forward to, as there is going to be one Hell of an encounter next issue. Pun totally intended. Death told Deadpool to find the “Man from Hell.” I can’t wait to see what this unusual duo are going to do next!

I think the Kellers are two people who genuinely understand horror, and have a plan as to executing their own. With mystery, intrigue, and just plan uneasiness, these boys have started something good—and something we won’t soon forget.

This is a series I just can’t seem to get enough of. For a horror hound like me, this stuff is golden. It’s not the typical slasher or supernatural horror that we see these days. It’s moving at a steady pace that keeps us interested, but not bored. It looks like there will be some really cool discoveries next issue, so I can’t wait to get my hands on it! If you haven’t read issues #1-3, you have some time to catch up before #4 is released. Get reading so we can talk about how awesome this series is!

For a premiere issue, this is one entertaining story. If just one issue has me this enthralled, the subsequent issues are going to be AWESOME! This series is most definitely one to keep an eye on; big things are coming.

This is an insanely interesting story with artwork that just further proves the urgency and danger of Mia’s situation. I mean, the design of the suit that she wears is beautiful! We’re going to see things like this throughout the series, I’m sure. Matt Kindt has said that the inspirations for this series include “the 1970s GI Joes, the Fisher-Price Adventure People toy line, Tintin, Agatha Christie, Raymond Chandler, Moby Dick, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Sherlock Holmes, Jacques Cousteau, and a healthy fear of drowning.” If you’re into mysteries and enjoy any of the aforementioned influences, join Mia on her underwater adventure!

This issue is definitely a success. We get a lot of character development and a lot of mystery. Even though this is a story about robots, we still get a decent amount of emotion thrown in. This is a brilliant end to the first story arc of the series. This is one of the best new series that Image has released lately, and I’m already itching for more.

This is a great addition to the series. Unfortunately, Raja hasn’t gotten any closer to the cure. However, she has escaped Gil’s controlling grasp on her. From here, hopefully she can make it through the debris and gunfire long enough to make her way to the cure. This is a really interesting and entertaining series, so I definitely recommend checking it out as soon as you can!

We’re just starting to see what Dee is capable of, so I’m stoked to see what else she can do, and how it will help/destroy everyone around her. Hesse has done an awesome job with the opening issue in terms of creating a world we’re interested in and conflict that is entertaining. I can’t wait to see what future issues hold!

We get to see a lot of serious subject matter here, which I absolutely love. We see war, familial tension, an unjust society, and the difference between two generations. The creative team avoids the usual romanticism of war and glorification of violence; instead, this series, thus far, seems like it is going to be more realistic—and I’m so thankful for that. It forces us to think, to learn, and to debate. This is an interesting and very promising premiere issue to the series, and I can’t wait for more.

We’re at issue #10, so it might be hard for new readers to follow (like it was for me), but it’s a really great series that, if you have the time to, you should definitely read. This isn’t an issue you’d want to miss.

This book is the perfect mix of sci-fi and just plain dark comics, with a gloomy story and brooding protagonist. There are a lot of questions left unanswered at the end of this issue, but the book moves at a steady pace, enough to make waiting for the answers well worth it.

This is a proud sci-fi comic book with a lot of really awesome concepts coming into play, from aliens to some insane next-gen technology. There are even a few panels of the new planet the crew discovers (it looks positively treacherous). I’m stoked to see more of this planet, and next issue will bring on the aliens!

The first issue involves binaries of light and dark, old and young, and safe and adventurous, to propose the choices we are forced to make as both child and adult. Being a comic for all ages, children can imagine the adventure and adults are offered a chance to relive their own.

This is a really fun, imaginative all ages series. You don’t necessarily have to read the first series to understand this series, but there are times when you’ll wish you had. Issue #1 proves to be a really entertaining book that will have you rooting for Dreamfinder and Figment. We’re starting what looks like a really fun journey, so start reading this gem of a series!

This is definitely a series I can dig. It’s raw, real (but fantastical at the same time), and so emotional. This is definitely a series to keep up with if you’re looking for a good story, executed flawlessly.

I don’t think any of you need much persuading to read this series. It has action, violence, familial issues, patriarchal hierarchies, FREAKING DRAGONS, and this issue sort of pulls a Catcher in the Rye and brings our protagonist, Enrico, out of childhood with a rude awakening. I can’t wait to see what Kelly puts Enrico through next issue!

Bottom line is, this series has a lot more to offer, so anyone who hasn’t been reading should definitely catch up to stay up to date with the storyline. This is one Hell of a story about a very resilient young boy with a dream. This issue alone is worth a read.

If you want some nostalgic characters with all new concepts thrown in, this series is for you. This team-up is a great way to show off the classic adventures that we have seen for years, and it is executed in a creative, imaginative, gorgeous manner. This series is absolutely one to keep an eye on.

In the end, I can honestly say this series is going to do justice to the old flick we all know and love. With the humorous script and beautiful artwork, this is definitely a book I will be keeping up with as the issues roll on in. This is a good read for any Ghostbusters fan, comic book lover, and overall nerd.

This book is meant to be funny while reflecting reality in the best way that it can—and it does its job extremely well. There is happy, sad, confusing, frustrating, funny, and awesome all jam packed into one series. I recommend this series to anyone and everyone who has gone to college and/or is interested in the dynamics of such. This is an amazing book, and it has made my life so much better. So make yours better, and pick it up today!

This issue is a wonderful addition to an already great series. This is a good read for any young adult; trust me, it’s worth it.

This isn’t the first time I’ve said that Giant Days is one of my favorite comics right now, but hot damn does it deserve to be said again or what! I’m always excited to go on an adventure with these characters and see what life holds for them. Join the party when this issue comes out on Wednesday from Boom! Studios.

This series has become one of my favorites. This issue alone is relatable to a lot of us—having so much work to do and pulling all-nighters to get it all done, breaking up with the “love of your life,” being too tired to pay attention in class, and having an amazing support system to carry you through it all. This is an incredible issue to add to a truly touching series, and I suggest you all get hip to it!

I am really scared that Esther is actually going to leave college and her friends. She was the weirdest character, making her my favorite character. I don’t know how things will turn out, but I miss her already. Giant Days is a hyperbolized version of reality. We’ve all been through a breakup and we’ve hated school at some point. Each issue brings about a new event that is insanely relatable for all us readers. With characters that are likeable and easily make us empathetic, the creative team on this series creates a really entertaining story for us to enjoy. If you haven’t read any of this series yet, I strongly suggest you start.

This is a great read. There is a lot of emotion, tons of great characterization, and reason for readers to give a damn about the characters. It’s a book—fiction—but I feel like I’ve become friends with these people. Any book that can make me feel that comfortable reading it is fine by me.

This story will instantly grab your attention. It is truly an amazing plot that I can't wait to read more of. The creative team has done an amazing job mixing words and art to create the perfect balance for storytelling.

Overall, I'd say 18 Days is starting off extremely well. Issue one serves as a good starting point to anyone's research in Eastern philosophy. If not for that, it's all in all a really great story, being retold in a fun and interesting way. Morrison and Kang work so much in sync; this is one of the best books I've come across in a while, with a fantastic story and breathtaking artwork. For your own good, be sure to pick this up!

This is a very promising series that has a lot more history and beauty to come. Morrison is taking a lot on, but he seems to be taking it at a slow and steady pace, true to the historical text that he is basing this series off of. This is truly a wonderful series, which I recommend for anyone and everyone to read.

For anyone who is into comedic slashers, this definitely won't disappoint. And just in case sharks on land weren't enough, stay tuned for GrizzlyShark vs SeaBear next month! I don't know about you, but this fantastical, uncensored, fast-paced insanity is one of the greatest types of humor I've ever seen!

The only down point to this book is that it doesn’t measure up to the Rocket Raccoon series for more traditional and action-loving comic book fans. This book is so obviously all-ages, with the lighthearted script and adorable artwork. Even though I’m 21 and love gory horror comic books, this is one of the best books I’ve read this week, and that says something. For a story that’s not too intense, but will still hold your interest, Groot is definitely the way to go.

This series keeps getting better and better. The storylines are getting a bit more intricate now, which I really appreciate. It’s pretty fun going with Groot on his journey to find Rocket Raccoon. It’s a cute series with issues that don’t take a long time to read, so keep up, and enjoy.

This issue is a one-shot, but I really, REALLY hope it turns into an ongoing series at some point. This is a comic book I could get behind. It takes some intense corporations and turns their members into human beings, every day folks. It’s an amazingly funny book about the life of a normal guy, who just happens to be a part of a villainous organization.

Both Crook and Bunn are two very talented people, and have come together to create a creepy, cute, mysterious, weird, and just plain awesome story. If I were you, I’d drop everything and go get a copy. In fact, that’s probably what I’m going to do when I get to go home today. I’ll see you at the comic shop!

Overall, this is a solid issue. This series gets weirder and weirder every time I read new issues. It’s pretty tamed right now, so I’m hoping we get some action or something even stranger than we’ve seen thus far. We’ll just have to keep reading to see what happens to our protagonist next!

This series is chilling, haunting, terrifying, and dramatic. It won’t scare you outright, but it’ll stick with you after you read it. For an unconventional horror story, this is definitely the way to go.

This is one of the best horror series out there right now. It’ll make you actually think, instead of simply showing gory illustrations page after page; I can respect that. It’s intricate, unique, dark, twisted, and perfect. For anyone looking out for something new and/or in the horror genre, look no further.

This is a really great issue to add to the series. Bernice’s character is really starting to become independent, and it’s brilliant to see her life aside from her friendship with Emmy. Now she has started a whole new journey of learning Lady Lovey’s “profession.” This story is about to get really interesting. For any and all horror fans, this series is one you just can’t skip out on. The creative team does an amazing job with all aspects of the story; trust me, you will be entertained and enthralled.

For horror fans, Harrow County is the perfect read. It is complex, has tons of subplots from issue to issue, and is genuinely disturbing. When it comes to horror these days, this series is definitely one of the frontrunners.

Head Lopper is a really fun comic book for any fan of adventure and even fantasy. This is a humorous book that I guarantee you'll enjoy, so pick it up at your local comic shop today!

This is a really interesting storyline that depicts Hellboy’s earlier missions with the B.P.R.D. For any Hellboy fan, I can tell you right now, you’re going to love it. Being a long-term fan of Hellboy, I can honestly say that this issue keeps up the high standards of any comic book from the Hellboy franchise. It’s a wonderful addition to this series, and should definitely be on your must-read list.

For anyone who enjoys fantasy/mild horror, this issue is for you. The rest of the series is bound to be littered with the supernatural, so I can already tell that this is going to be an amazing title. Rondel and Lucille are just starting their journey, so keep reading to join them!

This series is very atmospheric. Anyone looking for a subtle, well-written, amazingly-rendered story should most definitely read this. Things can only get better (for us; worse for Sarah) from here and I, for one, am not going to miss out on it!

This is a great horror series. It isn’t just a paranormal story or a slasher or anything typical like that. Tomasi really takes his time with this series, letting everything slowly unfold and flourish into the story on the page. If you’re looking for a sophisticated horror story, this is it!

This story was interesting when it started last issue, but it is only getting bigger and better. There are a lot more pieces to the puzzle that is Huck, and I am beyond stoked to figure it out.

The plot is thickening! There is much more to come, and I can only imagine what madness Millar will bring in subsequent issues. Huck is a really likeable character with a lot of charm and a generally endearing, innocent nature about him. I can’t wait for Huck to get to know his biological family. This series is quickly becoming one of my favorites, and I’m already itching for more!

This is an amazing start to a great series. I have a lot of questions that I’m sure Wendig will answer in subsequent issues. I’m excited to take this journey of self-discovery with Hyperion and if you are, too, keep reading to see what happens!

Skottie Young is doing an awesome job with this series. He has a knack for creating worlds and distinguishable characters within them. This is definitely a must-read.

I Hate Fairyland is an amazing series so far. I have no idea where Young is going to take it from here, though. With the loss of Gertrude, I’m not too certain of anything in the series anymore! Is Happy going to take her place? Is Gertrude going to come back to life? Is there even a key at all? One thing is for sure: with each issue, we’ve seen new parts of Fairyland, and with each subsequent issue, we will continue to do so. Young has created a new, unique, oxymoronic universe for us to delve into, and I can’t get enough!

This series has taken quite a few twists and turns, and it’s bound to take a lot more. Now that Gert is free, Fairyland is sure to go through a lot of mayhem. However, Gert seems really focused on getting home, so she might not do as much damage as she has previously done. Whichever it is, I’m excited to see Gert loser her way and Larry get fed up with her.

This is a really cool book, with a very interesting plot. The writing is smooth and steady, and the artwork is detailed as well as fun to look at. For anyone following the Secret Wars books, I definitely recommend this one.

I think this book is my favorite read of the week so far, and I do strongly suggest you check it out as soon as you can. It’s an admirable and intriguing miniseries that could end up being a very important part of Secret Wars.

The creative team behind this series is taking things up a notch. This is a brilliant issue and an enthralling series. If you haven’t started reading it yet, I strongly suggest that you do.

For any horror fan, this series is going to do you well. The creative team has crafted an intellectually engaging yet still frightening storyline"with a lot of sex and monsters. This is definitely an issue you don't want to miss out on.

I was really surprised by how much I liked this issue. There isn’t too much happening just yet, but we know that a lot is on its way—the exposition assures us that. If you’re into Iron Man at all, you can’t pass this series up.

This is a crucial read for any James Bond fan out there. This isn’t the kind of Bond you’re used to, but it’s one you’ll love.

Overall, this is a really good issue. It’s a solid story with good characterization and a very interesting plot. This series is coming along quite nicely, with the frame narrative holding the stories afloat. I’m pretty excited to see what new stories our k-9 friend will have a chance to hear. The elderly man seems like a very suspicious and curious man, and I definitely hope we see more of him. If you’re into fantasy stories like these, this series is one to check out as soon as possible.

Berry and Flood are two very different people, and it shows. It should be interesting to see how their partnership plays out in issues to come. I’m not sure if they’ll ever catch the killer, now that the killer caught Flood. In my mind, it’s up to Berry to save the day—again. Here’s hoping his cop experience can save both him and Flood from the lunacy that is the murderer!

I’m really excited to see where this series goes. There’s a lot of room for a lot of possibilities so far, so I’m looking forward to the next step of this story. For a new and intense take on an old character, this book definitely does a fine job!

From the first few pages of this issue, I was sold. This is a beautiful first issue, in terms of both writing and artwork. It takes the Karnak that debuted in 1965’s Fantastic Four #45 and ups the ante. His first solo series is looking very promising, and I can’t wait for more!

Bottom line is, this weirdly awesome series is going to get really good from here on out. I am reminded of Shawshank Redemption, when Andy Dufresne was new in prison and said he was innocent. Oliver says he is innocent, too, but who knows if he really is? Will the truth be revealed? Will he get out of the kennel? If so, can he handle what time he has left inside of it? Keep up with the series to find out!

I’m excited to see what Klaus does now, since he is in shock at the toys he made basically in his sleep. I’m also curious as to what role Lilli has to play in the story of Santa Claus. We have five issues left to find out, so keep reading, and enjoy!

This is an awesome series, especially for the holidays. Santa is an ever-popular myth that will never go out of style. Morrison does a fine job of contributing his own theories to an insanely entertaining comic book series.

This book was a surprisingly good read, seeing as—if I’m being honest here—I’ve been getting a little sick of Secret Wars books. This book, however, has gotten me back into the Secret Wars label and Battleworld setting—and I’m pumped!

For any crime buffs, fans of gore, or slasher lovers, this series was made for you. Right now I’m at the edge of my seat waiting to see what will happen next issue. Will the stranger turn Josie in? Will he run scared? Will he join her? Who knows?! All I know after reading this issue is that I want more!

Benitez has my respect, after reading this issue (and looking up previous ones). I can’t believe I never heard of this series before! But now that I have, I’m pretty sure it’ll be my new obsession.

The script itself moves the plot forward and is easy to follow. We get a few surprises in this issue that I won’t spoil for you all, but I will say that they make this issue well worth the read. This miniseries has one chapter left, so catch up before the next issue closes out the mystery!

I don't know whether this is horror, drama, religious, or noir. It has elements that just about every comic book reader will enjoy. This is a very somber story of a man who felt his life was worthless, but gets a second chance to prove his worth. This series isn't going to let us down, so I'm ready for more!

I’ve written on the magnificence that is Lumberjanes before, so I won’t go into a monologue about how cool this girls’ camp is, but I’ll leave it at this: issue #11 is one where transitions happen, epiphanies are made, and delicious cakes are decorated. Bottom line is no matter how old you are or what kind of comic books you read, Lumberjanes is for you.

This is definitely a series you've got to get caught up on. It's about one of the biggest historical expeditions of all time, with some modern twists and fiction thrown in so we don't get bored. This is a great book for anyone to read, and if you haven't started the series yet, it's about that time.

The creative team on this series is absolutely slaying. This issue particularly is simply beautiful. It’s gross, awesome, sad, brutal, and so much more. If you’re not keeping up with this series, I implore you to start.

Manifest Destiny is a great book for anyone who likes history and fiction. This series is filled with some really intense and dangerous truths, but just as many fibs. Put together, they create a truly brilliant, entertaining, and imaginative story. The creative team has done an amazing job at crafting this series, and anyone who is into this genre needs to read it.

Needless to say, I'm a fan. I love everything about this book, right down to the footnotes which, by the way, are an excellent touch that would do you well to look up as you read this series. It's intellectually written, cleverly illustrated/colored, and brilliantly spread to the masses. Come at this series with an open mind, and prepare for all the awesome to come.

These two stories are really cute, and are two must-reads for any Mickey Mouse fan. It's a classic, after all. How can you pass this up?

This series is definitely going to be something good. Chaykin’s work is always a joy to read because it often times requires more than just reading words and looking at pictures; it makes you think about why he placed everything in the positions they are in. Things can only get better from here, so keep reading to follow Joel on his journey of self-discovery!

If you haven’t read this comic book yet, it’s about time you do so. It’s an honest perspective of how a lot of us have lived/are living our lives. It’s entertaining, truthful, and just a fun book to read.

This story arc really has just been a bunch of bad decisions, but I’m hoping Rob learns from all of them and comes back in October, wiser and more able to give us a satisfactory ending to this miniseries.

Minimum Wage has become one of my favorite series, I think because of the sheer rawness of both the language and Rob’s emotions. We’ve all been through breakups and/or had girl trouble, and Fingerman feels our pain. With a slew of emotional ups and downs, we have followed Rob through literally so, SO many bad decisions, and there are only more to come.

A series called Monster World was bound to attract my attention. So far, things are looking pretty damn good. I’m really excited to see where this series goes. I am reminded of the movie Cursed, when werewolves are set loose in LA. I’m hoping we get to see some of the classic monsters as well as Kowalski’s new creations. We’ll have to keep reading to see!

This series is going to get really good from here on out. Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur are reunited—who knows what kinds of adventures they’ll get into? I don’t know about you, but I’m excited to find out!

Any Moon Knight fan needs to check this series out. For anyone who doesn’t know Moon Knight, it’s okay. This is still an amazing story, told in almost poetic prose and beautiful illustrations. If I wasn’t already a Moon Knight fan, this issue would make me one. I fully, with every fiber of my being, recommend this book to all of you.

This series is off to a great start. Trine is a really interesting character that can definitely carry the series. We are getting to new locations, meeting new people, and discovering new things. Things are definitely looking up, so make sure to keep up with this series as it progresses towards the awesomeness I know is coming.

This book is just all around awesome. It’s still a bit mysterious in regards to what will happen next, and the characters aren’t as well-rounded as I’d like them to be. Regardless of these small hiccups, I recommend this book to all of you, every single one of you! Go forth and READ!

The creative team has done a great job on the premiere issue of this series. There are a lot of very diverse characters and beautiful urban scenery. This is an interesting series with a promising storyline. To read more, pick up the newest issue tomorrow, and the trade in 2016!

This is an amazing issue that will leave you with much more to think about than just Nighthawk. It is truly a work of art, replicating some of the most important issues that we’re dealing with today. The creative team has executed some really heavy concepts in a way that is relatable, entertaining, and insightful. This is probably the best comic I’ve read in a month. I definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone (of age). Trust me, this isn’t one you’ll want to miss.

Silas has cooked up a really entertaining story, especially people who are more like me, into horror, gore, the macabre, and generally darker stories. People, who are easily offended, proceed with caution. Horror fanatics, dive into this book head-first!

Oh, Killstrike is a sitcom formatted satire about the comic books from a previously adored and cherished generation of comic books. It has a superhero spoof, a relationship on the rocky side of things, and humor sprinkled throughout the dialogue. Whether you’re a fan of modern comics or the ‘90s comics that Jared longs for, you’ll enjoy the nostalgia of this book.

Despite the fact that Logan’s character isn’t doing all that we would like to see, this book is fantastically written and, knowing Bendis, Logan will do the storytelling himself, at whatever pace he feels is natural and appropriate.  This book pushes the metaphorical boundaries of Battleworld, to include the stretches in which so many tie-ins can survive. There is a lot more story for Bendis, Sorrentino, and Maiolo to create and explore, and I have no doubt that the best of it is yet to come.

Old Man Logan is a great way to give Wolverine some new objectives. We’ve always known Logan was sort of an angry man, but he is bitter and out for blood in this issue. Surprisingly, there is force just as strong that’s willing to stop him. For anyone who is even slightly interested in Marvel’s more mainstream titles, you’ve got to get your hands on a copy of this issue. Enjoy!

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a talking house, or a kid on an adventure, at that. However, this is still a very unique and entertaining book. It’s appropriate for every age, and enjoyable to just the same. I definitely recommend picking this up. It’s a fun, lighthearted way to get yourself out of reality and into a cute, amusing story.

The one-page strips help break up the issue. There is a lot of humor, irony, nostalgia, and fun in this issue. It’s definitely suitable for all ages, but has themes that are a bit advanced. For anyone who read Peanuts as a kid, this is a must-read. You’ll get an overwhelmingly warm sense of your childhood that will make even the crappiest day a good one.

This series is going to be freaking amazing. If the rest of it is anything like this first issue, I will definitely be keeping up.

If the rest of this series is anything like this first issue, I’m already hooked. For horror fans, atmospheric comic book fans, and especially fans of Penny Dreadful, this issue is not one you want to miss.

Penny Dreadful started out as a TV show, airing for the first time in 2014. It has since gained a huge following with its unique storytelling and references from popular characters like Abraham Van Helsing, Count Dracula, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Frankenstein, etc. Now that it is a comic book series, the franchise will only grow bigger. This series is definitely suitable for any horror fan looking for a book that will cause a little uneasiness. It’s a really well-written series that isn’t too text-heavy, and with a plot that is equally reliant on its script and artwork. There is some true talent in this series, and we’ve only just begun to see it.

I’m a new reader when it comes to Phonogram, so I was a little afraid that I might have missed out on something in the last decade or so. However, it was pretty easy to jump right in to. If you find yourself getting confused, Gillen has been kind enough to give us a glossary of key terms to know while reading, in the back of the issue. I’m liking this series, especially since it has rather cryptic undertones to it. I would definitely recommend this to a friend—and I’ll be keeping up with the series, too!

Plutona is getting better and better with every issue. It is definitely getting weirder, in the best way possible. There are a bunch of directions it could go, so I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens. Will Diane lose her friends? Are Mie and Ray going to get together? Will “Tugger” and Mike turn into superheroes? It’s insanity!

If you haven’t checked out this reprint of Popeye, trust me when I say it will do you well. You can never go wrong with the classics.

I unquestionably recommend this book to anyone (of appropriate age) who likes comedic comic books. I have a feeling this series is going to give us a lot more laughs and a lot more strange humor. This is a series you definitely want to keep an eye on.

The S.H.I.E.L.D. 50th anniversary label has been going really well so far, with Mockingbird #1 last week, and Quake #1 this week. These one-shots are really amazing so far, with amazing creative teams to back them up. The characters are really explored and fleshed out for us to understand them even more. Marvel has been putting an immense amount of effort into this anniversary event, and it definitely shows.

Rachel Rising is a really good series thus far, and it’s only going to get better. I mean, freaking death looked right back at her! It’ll be really interesting to see where things go from here. This series is about to get really interesting, so make sure to keep up!

I’m glad that Rat Queens is back with #11. This new arc will definitely have adventures, chaos, magic, and that classic mix of humor and profanity. Stay tuned for issue #12 in September!

I wasn’t expecting much from this book, because the cover has a skull and a group of people on it. I thought, “A skull, how original.” But it surprised me in the best way, and I can already tell you, I’ll be keeping up with this series. The newest addition to the Secret Wars label, Red Skull is already making a name for itself. So if you’re a fan of the tough bad guy type, this book is waiting for you.

Red Skull has become a really intense and moving story. It has betrayal, hope, loss, and tons of action. This is definitely a book that anyone keeping up with Secret Wars needs to check out.

This series is a really emotional ride. It’s a thrilling story with stunning visuals. For all you science fiction fanatics, this will make your day.

The plot starts off seemingly humdrum, but adds in some excitement with the discovery of this briefcase. I think it can only get better from here. It sits just on the fringe of science fiction, and brings entertainment to a story about ordinary people, and one really awesome alien. The best part? You don’t need to have read any Resident Alien comic books to understand the plot of this one. You have no excuse; go pick it up!

All in all, this is a great series. It’s only on issue two, so we have a lot of time for something big to come up, and to solve the mystery. Each installment brings something new, and I’m already looking forward to issue three. This isn’t an intense and action-filled crime story, but it’s an interesting way to look at one. I definitely recommend you read this series and, if you can, keep up with it—there’s lots more to come.

For anyone who likes history, history reimagined, or gets a kick out of historical figures meeting together for the first time, this series is for you. This first issue has already gotten me addicted, and I keep thinking of what'll happen next. I, without a doubt, recommend this issue to anyone interested"even moderately"in the subject matter. Enjoy!

This series involves so many different elements, including sorcery, loss, betrayal, redemption, etc. And this all happens on a really personal level, thanks to Arcudi. The creative team does an amazing job capturing big characters and bringing them down to a place where we can feel emotionally invested in them. This second story arc has started really well, and I have no doubt that Arcudi and Harren can keep up the momentum. This is definitely a must-read.

It has been entertaining to watch Takeo find his brother, and it'll be even more so to watch Takeo fight for the village against another really skilled samurai. Both of them barely show any emotion, so it's going to be awesome to see how they each handle the pressure. If you're looking forward to it as much as I am, keep reading to see what happens!

This series is about to get really intense. Only one samurai can be left alive! If you love well-written stories and insanely beautiful artwork, this series should be your go-to for entertainment. The creative team does an amazing job of crafting a gorgeous issue, by all definitions of the word.

This is an amazing book both visually and in terms of plot. The creative team is doing a brilliant job with this series thus far and, if the rest of the series is anything like this issue, I’m already a fan. Hopefully we get to see some more action next issue, and I can’t wait for it! This is most definitely a must-read for any and every Scooby-Doo fan. For new fans of the pup and his pals, this is a great place to start. It’s a completely reimagined story, so you don’t have to know a single thing about the franchise to understand what’s going on. There is a lot of talent on this series, and I’m positive this team won’t let us down.

This series as a whole is incredible, but this issue in particular does a fine job, namely with its characterization. There were always characters, yes, but this issue delves deep into personality traits and individual opinions. These are the kinds of stories I love the best: the ones with enough detail for you to invest yourself in each character, for different purposes. This is a series to keep up with, but this issue isn't one you should read a summary of"you need to pick it up and soak it in for yourself.

I think it’s refreshing to have a story that’s not so serious, but one that is just put together for the pure enjoyment of a good story. If you’re in the mood for some Secret Wars, but don’t want something overwhelming with seriousness, this is the book for you. It is brilliant storytelling with even better artwork, and altogether a good, fun read.

I absolutely love the juxtaposition of Wertham's initial message with his book and the violence within this series. I cannot wait to see where Parks takes the series from here. If you're a fan of the '50s crime style comic book, you can't afford to miss this!

There is not much humor, just a little sarcasm. The book has a rather serious tone. Despite this, it is an amazing read that I recommend to anybody and everybody. You can tell that it has a literary undertone that, in my opinion, adds to its amazingness. This one is definitely on my “must read” list.

All in all, this is a solid first issue. We have a strong protagonist who seems more than capable of moving the storyline forward. This is, finally, a PI story that stands out from all the rest. It has an awesome, almost noir feeling to it, so I would unquestionably recommend checking it out. You will most definitely not be disappointed.

For someone who has been fairly anti-Simpsons for her whole life, this one issue has really changed my perspective. This is the funniest comic book I've read in a long, long time. If you're in the mood for a laugh or 30, pick up this issue as soon as possible, sit back, and enjoy.

This is definitely a series to check out. I’m not usually into such superficial content, but this story has caught my attention and held onto it. I fully recommend you all at least give the first issue a chance and see if you like it. I, for one, will be keeping up with the series to tell you all what kind of antics Lottie gets into—especially now that she is sitting in a bathroom with Caroline, who is unconscious, to say the least.

The creative team on this series has done an amazing job starting it off. We have some really interesting characters, a mystery that is already insanely intriguing and super suspicious. I’m stoked for issue #2, but we’ll have to wait to see what happens next!

This is the start to what I expect will be an awesome series. I’m definitely on Anthony’s side, but I don’t know how long that will last. Something isn’t right with that kid, and I’m itching to find out what it is.

I’m really excited for this series, not only because I love Jordan’s work, but because there are so many themes and ideas hidden within it. The creative team has done a beautiful job orchestrating such a dramatic and bold story for us. I can already tell this is going to be an amazing series, so make sure to go to your local comic shop this Wednesday and pick it up!

Infante and Buccellato have created an addictive and thought-provoking book that will only get better from here. I don’t know about you, but I’m hooked already.

Southern Bastards is sort of like a train wreck that you can’t look away from. It’s grimy, dirty, and all too real, when we think of our lives being as unsatisfying as Hardy’s. It makes you rethink your life decisions a recall a day when things were better. It sucks to think about, but the fact that a comic book can make us do that is amazing. This series is definitely one to keep up with. Aaron and Latour make a feisty team and a damn near perfect pair for writing a book as intense as this one.

Overall, I’d say this reprint is a success! I’m pretty stoked to see some more of it, and I plan on reading more today! Space is already an interesting topic, but when you add people riding throughout it in skull-shaped ships, I’m sold.

I’m three issues in, and I want to go to four and finish this arc, so badly. It’s no wonder why these books keep selling, and Black Mask keeps having to reprint them. With writing this good and artwork this aesthetically appealing, how could anyone not love it?! Space Riders is becoming my new favorite series, and you need to read it, for your own good!

This is definitely an issue to check out if you're a Spawn fan, a horror/sci-fi fan, or just a fan of good comic books. The creative team do a fantastic job of keeping this issue entertaining and enthralling. It kept my attention the whole way through, which is something that rarely happens (and not just because of my ADHD). If you haven't read any Spawn yet, what are you waiting for?

I’ve been waiting for this series for a long time now, and I’m so glad it’s here. In the back of it, there is even another issue: Vision #1. I won’t focus on that, but let’s just say it’s worth the read. This series, though only at the first issue, is living up to every expectation I have. I’m so glad these two are teaming up for a series I’m sure we won’t soon forget.

The creative team on this series has done a phenomenal job on the first issue. There is a lot of emotion and action in this issue that take us back to the beginning days of Spider-Man. This is most definitely a series to keep track of.

For any Star Wars fan, this issue is a must-read. See C-3PO and his fellow droids take on some new elements and, in the end, stand victorious back where he belongs, with the Resistance.

These two have started a brother/sister relationship that I’m really hoping lasts a while longer. It’s a really awesome story line that makes us sympathize for Zarro, and root for this duo to defeat Juam. I can’t wait for more!

I’d say this issue is a success. This is a great way to start off the series. Now, we know that next issue is going to bring some action. I’m excited to see how Poe and his team handle the First Order. For any Star Wars fan, this is a must-read, no doubt about it.

This is an incredible story that is here to hold us over until the new film comes out. This issue is artistically beautiful and written in such a way that will make you want to keep reading once it’s over. If you’re a Star Wars fan in the least bit, you have to check out this issue.

This issue is very well-written and illustrated. This is probably one of my favorite books under the Secret Wars label (it’s tied with Where Monsters Dwell). The lighthearted writing and cartoonish illustrations are paired perfectly with one another to create a fun and sweet tone for the series. I definitely recommend this series for you all to read. I can’t wait for more!

This is an amazing series that is doing really well so far. I hope we get to see more of Angie and Gavin’s teamwork. I don’t know what Angie’s mother is up to, but I don’t like it one bit. Seeing as Angie is the only outside party who knows about it, it’ll be interesting to see what she’s going to do about it (if anything—I don’t see why she wouldn’t help Gavin out, though). Stick around for more of Starve’soriginal blend of brutality and awesomeness!

We know something big is coming, and we know Wilson is going to be a significant part of it. The only thing is, he doesn't expect it just yet. I'm really excited to see him and Brownfield work together more. I'm actually stoked about learning more complexity theory throughout this series, too. This is a great issue to open up the series and, knowing Soule, things are about to get pretty exciting. So, keep reading to see the madness unfold!

This series is shaping up to be a good one. So far, we’ve gotten a few characters, and one literally big one, who is probably going to end up being the heart of this series. Both writing and illustration is on point, so there’s really no excuse not to get this book.

This is definitely a series I would recommend to anyone who likes some lighthearted reading with a bit of urgency thrown in. This is one funny issue, and a great way to start the series off. This is an amazing read that is well worth the read.

For any fans of the TV show, this series is definitely for you. I’m stoked that Romero is coming back. IDW, I love you for publishing this series. Horror fans, keep reading for the next issue, part one of the story arc, “The Black Box!”

Tank Girl has always been a really great title, and now this series is here to carry on the good name. Any and all Tank Girl fans need to give this issue a read.

Any Tank Girl fan will enjoy this issue and series overall. The adventure, action, and crazy antics are truly something to love. This series will take you places you can’t go in real life, to give you a small break from reality. I’m not saying this criminal life is something to look up to, but exploring the world sure is. I fully recommend this issue to any and all fans of a good story, great artwork, and an overall fun read.

The narrative structure actually isn’t hard to understand at all, and adds to the craziness of the warzone setting. I have no doubt that the creative duo of Allor and Tucker will do justice to the history of the Vietnam War and the Tet Offensive. I’m definitely staying to read more of this awesomeness.

Being a lifetime fan of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, I hold these stories up to a high standard that will never go down. I can honestly say that this issue proudly keeps up the good name of Sabrina. If you’re a fan of the comic books, TV show, and animated show, you definitely want to read this one. It’s a brilliant take with a fresh new storyline for our teenage witch—most definitely worth reading.

Sabrina has gotten quite the fan base, what with Sabrina, the Teenage Witch and all. Fans of the half-witch, half-mortal teenager are going to love this series as Sabrina gets herself stuck in even more magic-filled scenarios. I expect nothing less than brilliance when it comes to this series, and the creative team never disappoints.

Overall, this issue has incredible pacing and is a great way to showcase both Odetta and Detta. It moves the story along quite nicely, and definitely lets us see how difficult a journey this is actually going to be. This is a rather epic series with a storyline that is bound to throw us some surprises. So, keep reading to see what mayhem awaits our Ka-Tet!

The first issue of this series alone is amazing. We get possessions (called “crashing” in this series), ghost family reunions, evil spirits being released into the world, and so much more. For anyone who is interested in the paranormal, this series is definitely for you.

I’m excited to see where this series goes. I have no idea what’s with the pregnant or just-got-out-of-a-c section-with-no-stitches woman, but she’s fairly bloody and has glowing eyes, so she’s on my good side thus far. As for the weird assed parasite, hopefully we see more of what it can do besides make humans kill themselves (however, yes, that is bad enough and, no, suicide is not a joke). Either way, it’s sure to get better in the future. Here’s hoping we get so scared we wet ourselves!

This series is the crude truth about the kind of people we know we are, but don’t care to admit, at least most days, anyway. These four guys have been through a lot in two issues! It wouldn’t surprise me if Dorkin came with some more material, though. This is an amazing series, but you have to be willing to laugh at yourself in order to enjoy this book. If you’re not, you’ll just get pissed off. For those of you who can make fun of your own lifestyle, pick this up, sit back, and enjoy.

I first read issue one of this series because it said fiction and I thought, “Awesome, a comic book about literature,” like an idiot. But now, I’m a fan for the adventure. I guarantee you will be, too, if you pick this book up and give it a read. Enjoy!

This is an amazing issue. Whether Pires knows it or not, he makes a lot of allusions that we need to think long and hard about for the greater good. This is definitely an issue to make sure you read.

This is a great issue that definitely helps define the society at the given time period. Fred's family is expanding, his friendships are strengthening, and his relationship is solidifying. For any fan of The Flinstones, this is the ultimate throwback to give you all the warm fuzzy feelings that nostalgia has to offer.

It’s safe to say that I’m beyond impressed with this premiere issue of this intense series. This is a sensitive topic, unfortunately, so Aaron and Guera are sort of walking on eggshells while they portray such a sacred book. Honestly, I actually hope we get more than just a comic book rendering of the Bible. Whether or not you’re religious, this is a must-read book!

With Powell's fact-based writing and Dunivant's dramatic artwork/coloring, this is the perfect story for October, when the mere thought of Halloween is in the back of all our minds. It's the season to get scared, and the creative team of this one-shot sure does help us with that endeavor.

This is a really dark and imaginative comic book. The creative team has done a beautiful job of creating a chilling story that is sure to stick with you long after you’ve finished reading. Horror fans, head over to your local comic book shop and pick up a copy today!

This is a unique story about a very unique man who, at his old age, is just now trying to get his life together so he can relax. It’s really cool to read a story with an older protagonist. I’m stoked to see what Brisson has in store for us next. This is most definitely a series to follow. Issue #1 comes out Wednesday of this week, so make sure you grab a copy!

This concept isn't new, whatsoever. But it is interesting. It is executed in the best way, and shows a lot of imagination and creativity; for that alone, I'll be keeping up with this series, and you should, too.

This book isn’t new, but it has new characters, and a new setting, and those two alone make it worth reading. It will probably take a few reads to fully understand, but I do recommend it nonetheless. This first issue was a good introduction to some lead characters and the problem at hand. The second issue can only get better from here, so stick around for the good stuff!

Overall, this looks like a really promising series. I don’t know how long the steam man is going to hold out; it has already started rusting. I’m looking forward to the crew’s encounter with the Dark Rider. That should make for a pretty epic fight. This is definitely a series to keep track of.

This issue is a great read for children and adults alike. The Three Stooges are characters that have long since been entertaining us. I'm pumped that this series is here, and I am already wishing for issue #2! If you're a fan of the Three Stooges, you can't pass this series up.

Co-creators Hawkins and Ekedal don’t just write a book to say they wrote it, but they think deeply about the politics and societal aspects of religion, which people don’t do enough. Any comic book about religion is a touchy one, but one with such a real script and blunt artwork is a fantastic one.

This is shaping up to be a nice series, and I can’t wait to read more of it. You should keep up, too, and we can dish about our favorite parts/characters.

This issue was a really pleasant surprise. I absolutely love how realistic and raw the script is. This was an amazing read about some really emotional circumstances. I am so excited to see how the rest of this series plays out.

This issue starts off a bit slow, but it picks up really quickly. Kirkman not only writes about the recent deaths, but how they have affected everyone around them. The plot tells us a lot about Rick’s leadership problems and a lot of personality clashes. This is definitely a book for all The Walking Dead fans.

I’m pretty glad that “Thor the Unworthy” is back. This book has some surprises and amazing splash pages to go along with them. If you’re a Thor fan, there’s no way you can pass this one by.

Spider-Gwen is one of many of Marvel's female superheroes, and it's great to see her back in action. I'm hoping we get to see more of this Vulture, and of course I'm on Gwen's side when it comes to proving herself to the cops. Overall, this is a solid issue. It was really fun to read, and it left us a great cliffhanger to keep thinking about until the next issue.

What could be more awesome than getting a cosmic marking? Getting the abilities that come with it, which is what we’ll probably see next issue. If this is the first time you’re reading about UFOlogy, I urge you to pick up a copy and join me in following a story enthralling to anyone with an imagination.

I’m sad to see the Ultimate Universe come to an end, but so glad to see Bendis and Bagley creating such a monumental series together. Skottie Young has drawn up a variant cover to this book of Bendis dropping the mic, while all the Marvel characters walk, fly, and web away behind him. It’s a good cover, but a sad motive to draw it. All you comic book nerds and Marvel fans, let’s take these last steps together, towards the end of the Ultimate Universe.

Personally, I think the end of the issue was a little cheesy, but it sure gave the phrase “Avengers Assemble” even higher meaning. The tight-knit group of superheroes is closer than ever, over all of space and time. This comic book was meant for Avengers fans, old and new, and most importantly, for comic book fans. It is well-written and a beauty to look at. Bottom line, pick up a copy of this issue—it’s for your own good.

The creative team working on this series has done a freaking AWESOME job. This is definitely the highlight of my week thus far. There is so much imagination, creativity, and sheer talent in this book. If you get the chance, be sure to read this issue; you will not be disappointed.

So far, this series has grabbed my attention and holds it with a tight grasp. I don’t know where Sebastian came from, or what his real goal is in taking over a human’s life, but I’m excited to find out. The end of this issue is a butt-load of monsters and Sana getting jumped where Sebastian has led her. I have tons of questions, but I’m sure Van Lente will answer them in due time. This issue is a really impressive book that shows just how talented the creative team is. For any and all horror fans, get hip to it!

If this is not your cup of tea, then so be it.  I can easily picture Yoe, with an impish grin, responding ala' Dr. Frank-n-Furter:  "I didn't make him for YOU!"

This first issue definitely does a good job of drawing us in to stay for the whole series. What could Mali’s reincarnated stepfather possibly have to say, after all the trouble he has caused her? I don’t know about you, but I’m really excited to read the next issue. Stay tuned for more awesomeness!

I might be biased (because I love any stories with themes like this), but Winter World is one of the most interesting and enthralling books I’ve read in a long time. If you get the chance, read it and give it your full attention. Try to imagine yourself in their situation, and enjoy.

Horror is one way to categorize this comic book, though I think Suspense is a better word to describe it. Bunn and Haun create an eerie setting and creepy tone in Wolf Moon to keep their readers at the edge of their seats. If you're a horror comic fan, and love the gory stuff, pick up a copy of Wolf Moon, ASAP.

This series is looking really good, but that might be because I really loved that era of X-Men. There are just a few things about the plot that I feel iffy about, but overall issue #2 is a success, proving to be an entertaining story. This is definitely a series for any X-Men fan out there.

I’m pretty excited to see how this X-tinction Agenda compares to the ‘90s version, especially in terms of the art. I can already tell it’s going to be a beautiful rendition of a book that was already good to begin with. This is definitely one to keep your eye on.

It took a second read to soak in all the awesomeness of this book. But what I got was: it reads at a stable pace, the artwork is appropriate for the subject matter, and it sends a good message. Brennan and Jackson write the script in such a way that it is easy to follow, and keeps your attention. You can try to read it fast, but you might miss something (as you read, there's a lot going on in this issue). It's not a skim-it-over kind of book; it's a sit-down-with-your-glasses-on kind of book.

If you’re a fan of any of these Marvel characters, you have to read this series, because you’ve never seen them like this! Issue #2 includes Elektra, Bullseye, Grizzly, and Doc Ock! Duggan and Virella are a power team, who give us some really amazing work.

This is a really great addition to 1872. Duggan does an amazing job of moving the story forward, and perfectly captures the western ambience. There’s a lot of action to come, so keep reading this awesome series!

This series has been approved for a second printing, being released on May 25th. If you’re into crime stories, and generally awesome storytelling, you can’t miss out on this series. This is great first issue, and I can’t recommend it enough. Enjoy!

So, the Bacchus affair is over. Roberts and Lafuente have done a brilliant, awesome, genius job on these first four issues of the series. For anyone who likes action/fantasy/comedic comic books, I fully recommend this series. Next issue, we see Archer and a familiar character from another series, Faith! Keep reading to see what the heck that’s all about.

Archer and Armstrong are onto their next adventure, of which I have no idea what to expect—but I know it’s going to be worth reading. As for this issue, it was great to explore Archer more and see how he acts away from Armstrong. For fans of both A&A and Faith, this is the perfect issue for you!

This issue is kind of just a way to introduce new readers to the A-Force and its members. Because of that, Wilson doesn’t have the ability to do anything “out there” just yet. However, I have no doubt at all that she will. This is a solid issue that is a great start to what I’m hoping will lead to a really awesome reunion.

Overall, this is a great issue to add to the series. We’re learning a lot about Abe just as Abe is learning a lot about himself. This story arc has become really revealing, entertaining, and enthralling. For anyone who is a fan of Mignola’s work, there is no way you can miss this series.

Abigail and the Snowman is a lot more than just a story about a girl and a yeti. It is about friendship and the relationships they have with people around them. It is a cute and light-hearted story that we can all relate to on some level.

Issue #43 proves to be a really great addition to the series, moving the plot forward quite a bit. We get to see Finn and Jake in positions where they usually aren’t, and it’s pretty interesting to watch them take on the town as fugitives. They both turn into one strange cupcake looking character. Adventure Time never lets me down, and I promise this issue won’t let you down, either.

This issue gives us some really entertaining dialogue and events. All the loose ends are tied up, and Ooo becomes a safe place once again. It’s like a “happily ever after” story with a twist. For any Adventure Time fan, you can’t miss this one.

Jake is on quite the adventure right now. I’m not sure how he’s going to face the governess, but I’m looking forward to finding out. Things are picking up the pace, so we should see some action pretty soon (we saw a little this issue, but not too much). This issue is easy to follow, understandable, fun, energetic, and entertaining. It’s definitely a necessity for any Adventure Time fan.

Overall, this first issue is a monumental success. It’s lighthearted, but it has a strong plot. It’s cartoony, but appeals to all ages. If you’re a fan of Adventure Time, you’re going to LOVE Adventure Time with Fionna & Cake: Card Wars.

Pretty much any and all Adventure Time stories are okay by me. Ice King is one of my favorite characters, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the rest of this series plays out. If it’s anything like the first issue, I’m stoked!

I have no idea where Gunter is, but hopefully these wizards can help Ice King out. I always liked Gunter. He can be a pushover, sure, but he’s adorable. Maybe the Ice King can stop thinking about himself long enough now to find him. As of now, he’s too into his new style and fitting in with his new friends. I have no doubt, though, that he is on the right track and will find Gunter soon enough. This is a great issue to add to an already amazing series in a very successful franchise. Definitely worth the read for any and all Adventure Time fans.

The writing in this issue is consistent with that of the last, in that it reflects the typical slang-imbued dialogue of the Adventure Time series. The artwork is the same, being the colorful and cartoony style that it is. This storyline is one of the more interesting ones, I mean, how many times do you see people shot into space? It’s all part of Adventure Time’s fantastical world of magical beings and candy people. It’s a lighthearted concept with some intense themes, and always fun.

Overall, I’d say this series has potential. It’s off to a pretty good start thus far, but has just a few inconsistencies. However, those can be fixed in subsequent issues. I’ll definitely be checking out issue #2 to see what happens, and you should, too.

This is the start to what is going to be a great series. It’s awesome to see Hawaiian Dick back, and I am so excited to see what’s going to happen when Mike gets to Hawaii. If you’re as excited as I am, keep reading to see what happens!

This isn’t a fun book to read in your spare time because you’re bored. This is a book to sit down with when you’ve got no other work to do, because it’ll make you think really hard about not only the situation in the book itself, but the concept of immigration as a whole. It’s a really serious book filled with tons of tension. You can’t afford to miss out on this coolness, so pick it up, and give it a read!

There are a lot of little hints here and there that Irizarri adds to make this series more controversial. And when it comes to books, the more controversial the subject matter, the better. This is turning out to be a really interesting story, and I’m hooked! Will the government step in and deport Owen? Will his debt be the death of him? Will he meet his family ever again?! Keep reading to see what happens!

Although the new Avengers movie, Age of Ultron recently came out and it was Iron Man who created Ultron (weird), I am so stoked for the Ant-Man movie coming out soon (and not just because I love Paul Rudd). Ant-Man has got his own series and his own movie now! He’s moving up the list and I couldn’t be happier about it. Check out the Ant-Man series.

Sci-fi seems to be a fad nowadays, and this book plays right into the hands of what the people want to see. I’m not going to tell you to drop everything and go pick up this book, but if you have some free time, go for it.

I don’t think I need to persuade anyone to pick this issue up but, in case you’re on the fence, I’ll tell you this: The all new Archie series is just building up to become something of the close group of kids we all know and love. I have no doubt that Waid is going to take us on quite the journey with these kids, so be sure to keep up with the series and enjoy the awesomeness that is Archie!

This series isn’t really picking up any fast pace, but it is definitely one that every Archie fan needs to read. Archie has been reborn, and this is it! Thus far, the creative team has done an amazing job on this series, and I can’t wait to see more!

I was, in all honesty, expecting this book to be kind of stupid, because it's mixing old (Archie) with [fairly] new (Sharknado). Ferrante and Parent, though, are able to make it work just enough to be entertaining. I found myself gape-mouthed and scrunch-faced at some of the images. If a book can get me to do that, it's a good one to me.

All in all, if you like sci-fi, and if you ever liked Archie, do yourself a favor and read this series. It’s funny, dangerous, action-packed, a little violent, and just plain cool.

Ruiz’s artwork is cartoony and fun, with the cleverness of that classic Archie style. Jason Millet’s colors bring the animated style of the art come out even more. Being both an Archie lifelong lover and a Predator sci fi fanatic, this book has brought together two very different themes in one very awesome book. If you haven’t read it, man, it’s only four issues—come on.

The IX series is doing really well, and with these one shots, it’s bound to get more and more intriguing from here!

This is a sort of sequel to the Aphrodite IX series, but it very much different"which is actually really good (not that the first series was bad, but change in comic books just makes me giddy). Some stuff is the same, but not a lot. This series is meant to be the future of the evolution, progression from the last series. I have no idea where this is going from issue #1, and I'm glad I don't, because for once, the suspense feels kind of nice. Athena herself is a badass, going from ordering an execution to grabbing a weapon herself to dying and coming back to life, and crushing someone else's head with her bare hands"all in the first issue. Needless to say, I'm already addicted.

Overall, this is a really unique, interesting, and entertaining book. Atomic Robo has always been an interesting book because of Robo's adventures. Now, it's time for the focused scientists to have some adventures of their own!

This is a pretty good book, but the story line isn’t anything new. Nonetheless, it’s a different take on an old story, so it is well worth the read. Davis does an awesome job of creating great characters for an awesome co-op story mode.

This is definitely an issue to read if you’re a Hellboy fan, or are even the least bit interested in the B.P.R.D. Mignola, Arcudi, and Tedesco make an awesome team that will bring more and more amazingness as issues pass by.

This comic book definitely does the long-lasting franchise justice. I can’t wait to see all the characters come into play; this is sure to be an amazing series.

This issue isn’t much more than exploration of the characters. There isn’t a lot of action and, when there is, it is only in a flashback. It’s a quiet issue with a lot of information to take in. Even so, I think it is a necessary issue to the series. From here, things are going to get a little more dangerous as they leave the graveyard. Until issue #3, there is much to think about after reading this one.

Parker writes both stories in such a way that they are fluid, go by quickly, and get the point across. There is no fancy language or extraneous one-liners to drizzle on top of an already readable script, and Parker knows it. Bottom line is, if you like Batman ‘66, you’ll appreciate the simplicity and good read of this issue.

This is a big throwback, what with the old school superhero costumes and all. This issue is both an entertaining story and a beautiful compilation of some really good illustrations. This entire series is one that every classic Batman fan should be reading. This Poison Ivy issue is an example of why.

We’re two months away from the series finale, so keep on reading, and get stoked for more old-fashioned Batman and Robin!

Being a big Batman fan myself, I’m looking forward to reading this storyline, and seeing where Tomasi can take the series.

This is a great one-shot for anyone who wants to see what the cats of Burden Hill are all about. For any and all cat lovers and paranormal buffs, this is a must-read.

It’s interesting to see actors without money, while today, most of them don’t know what to do with all of theirs. While it is an unusual circumstance, the readers are drawn to sympathize with them because us, the average comic book readers, don’t have millions of dollars ourselves. This storyline makes for a fun and captivating plot of people trying to get by, just like the rest of us.

This is really a very silly and fun issue. There are some really dramatic moments that help balance out the humorous and histrionic plot. I’m stoked to see how this adventure goes. There are elements of horror in it, too, so I’m looking forward to any and all plot twists that happen in Hell. For any Bill & Ted fan, this is most definitely a must-read series.

Bill and Ted will forever be two characters that I love. No matter what shenanigans they’re getting into, I can always count on them for a hilarious story and historically awesome adventure. The creative team on this series has delivered on that front, and for that reason, I recommend this series to every single Bill & Ted fan out there.

There are some crazy images in this book that I haven’t seen utilized so well in a long, long time. Not to mention the suspense in this series is almost too much to handle! I like to think it’s just some really good storytelling, and I’m not that impatient. Either way, there is still so much good to come with this series. I am looking forward to more plot twists and breathtaking illustrations.

In any case, this issue is definitely worth reading. The plot is picking up the pace now, and we have finally established the threat. It's a Children of the Corn type of thing, but sometimes children can be the creepiest villains (especially with pitch black eyes). If you're into the horror genre at all, this series is the way to go for some quality storytelling and the entertainment of mystery. Check it out!

This series is a great read for any horror fanatic or even conspiracy theorist. A hint of paranoia will set in after reading each issue, but rest assured, it’s a healthy dose. Black-Eyed Kids isn’t as scary as it is unnerving, which is often times a lot better than straight up horror. This series is an amazing read, and I recommend it for anyone (of age) to check out as soon as possible.

This is a very thought-provoking issue. I’m sure the rest of the series will lead to even more theories and analyses than what I have right now. The creative team’s execution is phenomenal, and I cannot wait for more. Any book that makes me think beyond just the storyline is worth the read to me! The creative team spent most of the first two issues taking care of the exposition. Next issue, we should get to see some more action. This series is starting to get really good, so pick up this issue to keep up with the journey north!

This issue is a unique take on Natasha. We get to see the powerful Black Widow as an emotional human being (in a good way). For anyone who is a fan of the Black Widow, this is a must-read.

I don't read many Titan books, but when I do, they never disappoint. Blood Thirsty is an amazing book, with action, gore, and a whole lot of mystery. The fun has just begun, so make sure to keep up and see what happens next!

This is really just a bunch of shenanigans that ensue from absolutely nothing, and they’re humorous because of just that. I’d say this is a solid first issue that gives us a taste of what to expect in the future. The best part? You don’t need to keep up to understand the stories or enjoy them. I couldn’t tell you how much I love that.

This issue is most definitely a success. It has humor, drama, science fiction, love, and freaking pirates, man! If you’re into any of that, you’ve got to read this issue.

Each of these stories has some element of magical realism, which isn't really what the show is about. The show was meant to reflect everyday life and the struggles/joys we experience therein. These are great stories, but it's hard for me to accept them as Bob's Burgers stories. Nevertheless, I enjoyed reading them. I would definitely recommend this issue for any Bob's Burgers fan out there.

These are three great stories from three of the most awesome kids I've ever seen. If you're looking for a good read, these kids' stories won't let you down. If you're not a Bob's Burgers fan yet, get hip to it! You won't regret it.

The point of this series isn’t to relive the TV show, but to use the TV show as a base to create new, original stories. The writers and artists on this series come up with some seriously entertaining stories. Regardless of how it fits in with the TV show, these are good stories that showcase the perfect characterization that has been done by the scriptwriters for the show. This is another great issue to add to a series that takes our favorite animated show a bit further. This is definitely a must-read for any Bob’s Burgers fan.

Any fan of Bob's Burgers is going to love this issue. It's all "Tina's Erotic Friend Fiction," so Tina Belcher super fans will like it even more. For a light read with a lot of action and humor, this is definitely the way to go.

Valiant’s next big event is here, and it’s off to a great start. Although we don’t see the whole of the character cast just yet, we know they’re coming. Venditti uses his characters to tell the story for him, so we can only expect that the best is yet to come. If possible, read The Valiant before you start reading this. If you won’t because you’re just that stubborn, new readers will still be able to understand this book. Either way, it’s worth your time.

This story was a fast read, but completely worth it for both the art and lighthearted humor. These warriors have a good lesson to teach all of us about working together and accepting each other.

Making this book strangely relatable was a good move on Barbiere and Peterson’s part. Any form of entertainment that someone can imagine themselves in is one that is going to be a hit. That’s why we cry while watching movies or reading novels—not because it’s a sad story, but because we are picturing ourselves in that exact same situation (i.e. The Notebook). In a science fiction yet realistic story, both Barbiere and Peterson are able to evoke emotions out of the reader that just make them want to read more (honestly, I was upset when I got to the last page). This isn’t the easiest thing to do, so I recommend you read this book to see just how it’ll tug on your heart strings, and boggle your mind.

This book is one that I love to keep up with. The series is home to a unique and interesting plot that we ourselves can put our lives in to think of what choices we would make if put in Elena’s situation(s). There was some foreshadowing to the use of weaponry against Elena and her two friends, so we’ll have to read issue #3 to find out what happens!

Needless to say, this is worth the read. Despite the fact that we’ve read it and seen it in films before, it’s still a concept that we find interesting, and one that we won’t lose interest in any time soon. So, read this book as soon as you can, and with an open mind, too.

The storyline is easy to understand and keep up with, so I’m pretty excited that it sinks in with just one read. The creative team has done an amazing job on this premiere issue, and things are looking really exciting. It can only get better, so keep on reading to see where this adventure takes us!

This issue moves the story forward quite a bit. The story is actually believable as the cast stops to take care of their own personal problem. This is definitely a must-read book for all you  Buffy the Vampire Slayer (comic series and/or TV show) fans.

This is yet another teen superhero story, but it incorporates the concept of war pretty nicely. I’m suspicious of both Ms. Greene and why Ryder’s grandfather wants him to forget his parents so much. This is a great premiere issue, but I want MORE!

Nonetheless, it is a great piece of fiction about a really awesome section of the military. If you’re obsessed with CoD, you’ll love it. So for all of you who are just like me, this is definitely a must-read.

Overall, Ewing brings a lot of social issues  to his writing. More than the issues at hand, this book focuses on the individual characters. This isn’t something I see too often, but when I do, it’s like seeing a dog walk on its hind legs. I know you know the feeling; don’t even deny it. If you’re anything like me, and love reading about the individual characters in respect to one another, you have got to check this out—and let me know what you think!

All in all, this is a really good first issue. It takes us for a nice travel through time ourselves, to when Steve and Bucky were in the war, kicking some serious butt. We get to see a very emotive Steve, along with really expressive supporting characters. This is a solid issue, and I’m pretty stoked to see what issue #2 has for us. Keep reading to see what happens!

It’s not easy to re-start an old comic book that didn’t do well, some 35 years ago. But Andrasofszky dares to venture into the re-making and re-vamping of this superhero, and clearly, it was a good decision. This issue is the start of a series that I think is going to be really successful—at least really entertaining. It is going to be quite a dramatic one, and I am so ready to learn the secrets that Brady is hiding from the public. If you are, too, pick up this issue and read along!

This is a slow first issue, but good for getting an understanding of who the protagonist is. There is no central issue just yet, but we will have to see what unravels from here. I think Paradox is going to start some beef with the superheroes, but who's to say? Keep reading to find out what happens!

The story has a great pace and talented, remarkable take on one monster whose legacy goes back centuries. This is a really great premiere issue to a series that is undoubtedly going to be a successful one. For anyone who’s even moderately into werewolves, you’ve got to check this out.

I think it goes without saying that this is a series that everyone needs to check out, even more so if you’re a fan of werewolves. This is an amazing take on an old tale. It is written and illustrated with precision and creativity, making it look and read like nothing you’ve read before.

The X-Files fans, get ready to do some reading, because you’re going to drool over this new Dark Horse series. I’m really excited to see how Mars is going to deal with the attacker. I actually really want to learn more about him, too. Does he hate the government, too? How did he find out about the Shadow Government? Is he attacking anyone in particular? Why is he attacking—does he want anarchy, or is he just expressing frustration? This series is going to be good, so make sure to keep up with it as the cryptocracy unravels! If you've never experienced paranoia, get ready.

I’m beyond stoked to see what Soule has coming up next, especially since the trial has taken some turns here and there. Soule has pleasantly surprised me with some of the best Daredevil material I’ve read in quite a long time. If you’re a fan of the hero, this series is a must-read.

This is a great issue. We get an alliance that is nothing like what we would have guessed, and the entire issue is aesthetically pleasing from cover to cover. This series is definitely an essential for any and every Daredevil fan out there.

This is a great way to start the series off. There is a lot of action and tension between Daredevil and the Punisher. It’ll be interesting to see how their interactions develop during the series. I’m excited to see where things go, and I have no doubt that Soule is the perfect person to make this series as entertaining as can be!

This series is definitely a must-read for any Daredevil and/or Punisher fan. To see these two go against each other is both entertaining and suspenseful. Seeing them work together will only be better, so stick around to see how these two heroes deal with the Crimson Dynamo!

All in all, this is a solid issue that helps move forward the plot. There are a lot of questions I still have, but I’m sure Mann will reveal all in subsequent issues. Fira and Aldrich have passed this milestone in getting the last relic of Andolus, and now it’s on to the last stretch of their journey.
