The current Blue Beetle creative team found a perfect way to honor Giffen by taking Jaime on a whirlwind tour of the DC Universe, past to future. Giving chances for other creators to come in and celebrate the late writer by visiting some touchstones one more time, but instead of giving into grief, this was a fun issue that reminds you of the joy of comics and character's impact. It's a perfect comic for fans to return to and a wonderful treat for the next generation to discover DC's history and Giffen's fingerprint on it.

A fantastic one-shot that gives fan favorite heroes a moment to shine in a horribly dark version of the DC Universe. If you haven't been reading DCeased, then start here with this amazing one-shot.

Overall, this is a fantastic annual that really delivered on story and feels like a great opener for what could've been another season of Daredevil. The situations from the first 20 issues are here, but this will really add an incredible new spin that has me waiting for more. History be damned, as it all starts here!

This is looking to be a great story of the struggle of a good man as he has to fight his own dark inner impulses, and Chip inflicts some real torture on his main characters. There is also a write up after the story from Chip that just gives you a rundown of what to expect from this new era. Spider-Man: Spider's Shadow #1 is the perfect opener to this, and I really look forward to what else is coming from this new run of What If!

This anniversary special is the perfect celebration, revisiting and adding to one of the biggest stories in comics. This issue will awaken your inner child and bring back the wonder, excitement, and drama you experienced the day Superman died.

The New Golden Age #1 invites all to explore the rich world of DC Comics. Legacy, mystery, and fantastic adventure await the reader as they are spellbound by the beautiful art inside. I was reminded of the wonder and promise of the DC Universe Rebirth Special and am hyped for this new Golden Age!

This issue adds to the body count, but hits us hard in the feelings with how we lose characters in this continuation of the overall story.

This was a strong issue that takes us to the midway of the story. The losses in this issue were harder as most of them were main characters and family members, but this hammers home the idea that no one is safe.

The action and drama continues to hit hard, and more DC characters make their DCeased debut, which might not be best for them. Lower tier characters get big moments and some revelations happen as the DCU continues to fight for survival.

This was another amazing issue from this series, and with that cliffhanger ending I can't wait to see how this miniseries wraps up.

This issue, conclusion, and mini-series was fantastic! Such a great shot in the dark that hit a target we didn't even know was there. Such emotions and great character with a conclusion that is just phenomenal. Get this issue and the rest of the mini...plus the one shot!

This is just the perfect mashup between two beloved properties. More insights into character and motivations are revealed along with dynamic art. This is a comic book that will put you in a good mood.

An excellent issue that leaves you wanting more. The Rangers and Turtles team up is dynamic, fun and reminds you why you loved these two properties growing up. Another classic character joins the action and adventure awaits as the bad guys are on the rise.

This issue was pure fun, and how could it not be? We see the ultimate idea of a crossover come to be: Power Turtles and Ninja Rangers. The action continues and all the players seem to be adapting to their new settings. This issue sets up nicely for the conclusion of an amazing crossover series. Pick this up, reread the whole series and brace for the conclusion and hopefully many more crossovers between these two properties.

This was a fantastic conclusion to an amazing crossover miniseries that delivered on the wildest dreams of every '90s. Heroic deeds triumph in the face of evil, brilliant mash ups with powers and zords"and of course, pizza!

This issue continues the story and lets the reader know what could be coming into play later in the arc. It features a great moment with Matt Murdock facing Daredevil's faults and what they do to other people.

A tense moment for the Man without Fear at the dinner table of one of Hell's Kitchen's notorious mafia families. Wilson Fisk makes a play for the bigger crime. The story progresses the overall arc.

This conclusion stuck the landing and has made the entire run of 10 issues worth it. Daredevil may be the title, but the actions and adventures of Matt Murdock is what brings the fans back for more. High stakes and moral questions keep you guess what will happen next.

Daredevil the series is in great hands with Chip, but Matt Murdock the character has never been tested more.

Amazing issue! Chip and Marco really tighten the screws to Murdock and Fisk as they try to be different than what their nature shows. This issue tests the mettle of these two men; definitely a read this new comic book day!

Another fantastic issue of Daredevil...without Daredevil in it. The struggles and characterizations that Chip Zdarsky creates are just horrible, but so fun to read. Marco Checchetto's art is just an amazing feast for the eyes...get this book on your pull list ASAP!

Tensions continue to build as more of the major players cross paths and form alliances. If you're wanting some gritty, noir drama, this is it. Another dynamic issue of Daredevil.

All in all a fantastic issue. I love the polar opposites of growth that are shown in Matt and Fisk. Matt makes an ascension on his personal grown while Fisk just hits rock bottom...hard. The drama continues to unfold as we make our way through Hell.

Great way to start off the new decade with beautiful art and amazing drama in the world of Daredevil. I just love the moment of Matt facing what he can do with his powers but also what it means due to his faith.

This issue/series has just been fantastic. We are in an era of Daredevil that is in league with the greatest of the character's history.

This is a fantastic issue, a story of the people rising up as heroes and standing against evil. Matt Murdock begins his journey back to Daredevil and the pieces that have been introduced since issue #1 are coming together. This has been a crazy ride and this issue will make the wait for April's issue that much harder. If you have ever wanted to get a friend into Daredevil, this would be the issue to show them.

Daredevil is back and this issue hits hard. What a return to the Man Without Fear, in an issue where you see people stand together full of action. Matt's journey of the soul is on a great path to redemption.

Seriously, this issue, like much of the series, gets top marks in regards to story, art, and character. This is the perfect jumping on point because what is going to come next may blow your mind. Other comics have the "aftermath" issue and this was one of them, but the drama doesn't stop. Great forward movement of plot points and strong growth for Matt Murdock.

Another fantastic issue. There isn't much in terms of superhero battles, but the interactions are reminding you of all the spinning plates with Matt, Fisk, and even Typhoid Mary.

The drama continues in Daredevil #23, but now the major storyline intersects with events from the Annual and this is going to make for one hell of a ride! The character conversations are amazing and Matt Murdock really gets called out, but that's what true friends do. Beautiful art from this team and a bonus with Spidey making an appearance too!

This is a great issue that has Daredevil getting his affairs in order before the big trial. I love the characters' tones and relationships in this issue, as they are played perfectly -- Zdarsky has a firm grasp on the DD-verse.

Daredevil #25 is a fantastic character-driven issue that doesn't focus on the main character. Beautiful art and compelling story come together to give us a new character and direction that will impact the current story"now the question is, is that character genuine?

This is a great tie-in issue to King in Black. Yes, it does change lanes with what we have been reading and wanting, but Zdarsky makes this a side trip you'll want to go on. Get ready for some wild showdowns, plot advancement, and a broken man meeting a dark god. Hell's Kitchen is really cooking!

I've said it before: this is a historic run of Daredevil, so do yourself a favor and stay on this book!

This is a spectacular character issue with an interesting development at the end. Zardasky has a lot of plates spinning but he is the master at keeping them all in the air.

Daredevil #29 is a great issue that drives existing characters forward while fleshing out new ones. Plus, a villain is returning, so that is going to spell disaster when they are up and running. Matt has to hold his own and find out who wants him dead"if he isn't already! Wild mix of drama, mystery, and action as only this DD team can do it!

While Daredevil #30 is dialogue-heavy, it builds the "Doing Time" arc as the characters are set for intersections that will make for great action later. Artists Marco Checchetto and Mike Hawthorne shine with their art and the characters they showcase. However, that last page is going to make things messy later in this arc!

Fantastic issue! Chip is letting all the pots on the stove boil and it is going to be an entertaining disaster in the kitchen. Lots of setup here, but Chip has proven before that he can deliver.

Daredevil #32 is a great issue that advances the main players' adventures while amping the drama and action up. That last page twist will both excite and scare you with it's potential. If these last two parts have been an indicator, then this arc is going to explode!

Daredevil #33 is another great issue. The reveal to Bullseye, finding this new skeleton in Fisk's closet, and seeing the path Elektra is on to keep me entertained for the month. I look forward to seeing the wrap-up to these new developments, and this issue helps to carry the arc forward.

Daredevil #34 is a great issue that serves as a breather before putting the main players on course for all the wild affairs that will be coming our way with the end of the volume and Devil's Reign. Red skies are coming to Hell's Kitchen!

The penultimate issue of Chip Zdarsky's excellent Daredevil is a great issue that took me back to the issues right before Marvel's Civil War event. The groundwork is laid, and I can see how this builds to Mayor Fisk's big move for the upcoming Devil's Reign event. I loved how Elektra was spotlighted as a hero, which shows her growth. And as always, the art department on this book delivers astonishing sights!!

Daredevil's finale issue is a perfect ending for this current volume of Daredevil. There was intense drama, romance, rejection, and character growth. Zdarsky and the team have taken these characters and lifted them to whole new levels. The issue has me impatiently waiting for the Devil's Reign event to continue this roller coaster of emotions and entertainment!

A perfect 10 bullseye of an issue! The voice was spot on, the art matches the tone of the book, and a mystery with guest stars all in the first issue. This was a dynamic debut for Matthew Rosenberg's Hawkeye.

Fantastic issue filled with comedy and action. The identity of Ronin is revealed, but I'm not so sure that the right cat is out of the bag. The mystery deepens and I can't wait for the next issue.

Consistent action and humor deliver in the newest issue. Worthwhile guest stars that will lead into next issue's confrontation, and how Ronin is able to do what he does makes for a fun issue to keep this mini-series hot and exciting.

Great issue with lots of fun moments and drives the story along putting Hawkeye even further in the hole with his good intentions. Rosenberg does a great job playing with Hawk's history and relationships to create fun moments while Schmidt continues to deliver fantastic art, keeping the pace going forwards.

Get ready for a great return to Hawkeye comics as some serious situations are being set up that will have major consequences for Clint's future. This issue is putting into motion some actions that might change Clint's status in the Marvel Universe.

Solid conclusion to a miniseries that contained a lot of humor and action. Rosenberg and Schmidt combined to make an awesome chemistry that made for a humorous, adventure packed, emotional story that looks to be setting Hawkeye up for a major change in status quo.

The hype behind Three Jokers is real. I know a lot of us have been waiting a long time for this miniseries to be released, but the wait was worth it. Excellent artwork presents a mystery that will leave you with lots of questions in the perfect opener for a story that may change what we know about the Joker.

Batman: Three Jokers #2 keeps the mystery alive and brings in the drama after that explosive issue #1. Granted, we are down to two Jokers, but the hits don't stop. If you thought "A Death in the Family" was rough on Jason, just wait until you read this issue.

Three Jokers was a great story overall, but like with any joke, it always comes down to timing. Sadly, the release of Three Jokers after Joker War just doesn't provide that wild revelation that I haven't seen recently between Bruce and Joker.

If you want an escape from traditional superhero comics, check out this futuristic classic full of adventure and intrigue. Count is a whopping graphic novel that will remind you of the class tale of revenge, while showing you new twists and higher stakes.

This was a strong opener for a sequel to 'DCeased', and a great gateway comic for new and returning fans. Taylor does a great job creating moments and characters to get attached to, while Hairsine's art does a great job of ripping it to shreds.

The drama comes crashing in hard this issue as we are treated to some hope and seeing more characters, but by the time the issue moves along we are ridden with guilt, shame, and sadly we might be losing that hope. Tom Taylor and Trevor Hairsine are the World's Finest creative for this DC Universe.

This is a great issue with hopeful moments tricked out in heroic and horrific art. We have something to hope for, but we also know something bad is coming too. The issue goes by fast but really does some great setting up for what could be a roller coaster of emotions with the next couple of issues.

DCeased: Dead Planet #4 is another fantastic issue, jam-packed with all kinds of goodies, horrors, and potential. I love the fact that two characters have returned as this can really ramp the emotions up a notch, so the drama never ends.

DCeased: Dead Planet #5 is a great issue with consistent art and story. I really enjoyed the team dynamics that were created in this issue -- they add to the overall story, even if this particular issue wasn't quite as action-packed as some previous ones. I'm sure will read amazingly in the collected edition, though, and it provides great setup for the next two issues.

This is another great issue with another great team created by these dire situations; plus it is all coming to a head with evil coming from above, below, and on site! Constantine is really building up the magical cache to save us"but will it just doom him in the end? Hype is high and I'm dying for that next issue!

DCeased: Dead Planet turned out to be one of the best comics I've read in quite a while. The ending was so great I had to sit down and read the entire miniseries all over again because the ride was so good and so satisfying. Tom and Trevor have created a masterclass on a fantastic, entertaining, suspenseful miniseries! Get this ASAP!

This is a great graphic novel musical mash-up that does more than any Wikipedia page can do. So whether you're a seasoned Dead Head, a student of musical history, or just somebody looking for an entertaining read with great art, go out and get yourself a copy of this. You'll learn a lot about these guys as the story takes you on their long, strange trip.

Excellent aftermath to the Death of the Justice League. A simpler version of Funeral for a Friend that nicely showcases hope, heroics, and heritage. This comic will have you do a couple of double takes to what you've read before when it comes to Pariah and sets the stage for Dark Crisis #1!

Three great stories from some superstars of the '90s that lay the seeds for future Ghost Rider stories and events! Plus, Chromium Deadpool -- can't go wrong with that!

You can't go wrong with Marvels and the original creative lineup. The extra story and beautiful art by Busiek and Ross help to bring this "DVD extras" comic to life. Marvels fans will return to a classic time in the Marvel Universe while giving tribute to Dave Cockrum in a whole new view.

Don't miss this issue/mini-series as it will peel back the curtain and add to what is happening in Ghost Rider. Ed Brisson does a great job with the characters of Lilith, Johnny, and Danny by showcasing their situations and creating motivations. Looks like seeds are planted that may culminate in a potential Marvel event, so get in on the ground floor.

Conclusion to the War of the Realms tie in for the X-Men and has a major impact on the Mutants; also fits in very nicely with the current volume of Uncanny. A New Mutant will be mourned after this battle is won.

The Great Darkness and Pariah will put DC's legacy of heroes to the test. The dark army has taken down the League, and a new group of villains attack. Characters from the last 35 years of DC history will rise to prove their mettle as the foundation and players set up. Emotions will spill as the creative team entertains you as they showcase their love and history for DC Comics.

The players set the board while we get some stunning fights that show how dire this situation is. Williamson, Sampere, Sanchez & co. are bringing us the best of their craft. Dark Crisis is shaping to make significant waves in the DCU, so join in on the fun before it is too late!

This issue delivers, from the cover to that last page reveal. Daniel must be looking at his Who's Who comics to give us this massive collection of DC characters. Joshua peels back the layers perfectly to show and tease so that we will be back for more. I can't wait to see how the Crisis will step up to this gathering of heroes.

This issue flowed so nicely with the creative team in such sync that you would think they have been working together for years. I know this makes waiting for the next issue much harder, but this story's potential excites me! Please don't wait on this one; pick it up as soon as possible!

This issue turns the dial another click forward as so much is going on and revealed. Plus, the mystery and the dealings with the DC Omniverse! The connection to Dark Crisis makes it that much more fun, but it still holds on its own. The wait between issues is tough as I want those answers now. This creative team is giving us a modern DC classic don't miss out!

The big reveal is here and very satisfying as it ties so much of the mystery and adventure together. I'm surprised the creative team chose that character, but it will make for fantastic conflict later in the series. It looks like Thomas and Bruce Wayne are in for some heavy fallout.

The writing team has created their own Secret Crisis that explains what happens in the Omniverse vs. Hypertime, making the Devine Continuum very interesting. I can't wait to discover more of it, but we still have the world of Flashpoint to survive through.

Wow! There is so much happening, but what's even wilder is the fallout! I am happy to have witnessed the journey of Thomas Wayne and the risk Bruce Wayne took, but there is so much more to explore, and I can't wait to see DC Comics' future. Terrific story by such a league of talent!

This quick series ended perfectly and showed me a fantastic dynamic duo, but I really hope this future gets another chance to be seen again as the creative team did a good job of showing a darker world saved by Dick Grayson.

Nightwing might be the book that benefits most from the upcoming "Joker War" crossover.

This was a great issue that continues to build on the momentum from last issue. This is a darker Ric than we are used to, but it has been exposed that he is being mind manipulated and the worst part is that the Joker is behind it. This series is starting to get its legs again and that's exciting.

'Nightwing' #73 is another great issue that gets us closer to some closure with Grayson's current status. This issue really makes you think how lucky we were to have Ric, because the Joker has created an even worse monster: one who looks like family.

Overall, this is a good issue that hardcore Wingnuts will be excited to read as the surprising return of Dick Grayson happens here. The story is decent, but does suffer due to crossover tie-ins, but this is really about the return of Dick and Bea's heroism, which make this worthwhile.

Nightwing #75 is a good issue, worth a read to see the next leg of Dick's journey. The heart is there, but it does feel a little lackluster at times. There are great character moments, but this issue is rather slow. Just when the pace picks up, we find out the wait will continue.

Nightwing #76 is a much needed issue where we finally see Nightwing let loose on KGBeast after all that fallout from the shooting. This was such an emotional roller coaster -- it did utilize a classic lone hero trope, but it was played very nicely by the creative team to make it worthwhile.

Nightwing #77 is great ending to a series that had lost its way, but returned to greatness. This issue showcases a perfect holiday miracle by showing a hero who uses his heart, and is a perfect example of why we and the DCU love Dick Grayson.

Taylor, Redondo, Lucas, and the whole team have done Dick Grayson and his history justice. This being a high-profile launch, I can see why DC didn't need a new costume or a #1, because the story sells itself without the hyperbole. Get this book as best as you can; I promise you won't be let down by the adventure inside this big top.

Nightwing #79 is a perfect followup to last issue, with excellent world building. I know these sites and characters are not new, but this book is laying down solid foundation while planting new seeds that should entertain classic fans and enrapture new ones. Amazing art and wonderful words come together under this big top!

Infinite Frontier's new direction for Nightwing is just awesome entertainment. We get witty dialogue, considerable character interactions, and vile villains. We're drawing closer to the confrontation of Heartless and Nightwing, but the journey to that moment is pure enjoyment!

Fantastic issue! The arc is wonderful all on its own, but this new story reveal could really rock Dick Grayson's world.

Nightwing #82 showcases the love that people have for the Graysons, but we are not out of disaster just yet -- someone evil is coming to visit for that great cliffhanger of a page. A delicate matter perfectly handled by this creative team; get ready for another sell-out!

This new creative team's first arc concludes, and it is a smash hit! This is a great example of what DC's Infinite Frontier should be about: embracing character and history. Dick Grayson once again feels like an important character, even when outside the costume. The love and adventure appear while entertaining all types of fans!

A beautiful issue that shows the DC Universe is moving forward while embracing legacy and tradition. After this issue, I can see Dick Grayson and Jon Kent as the World's Finest, and this perfectly sets them up as respected leaders for the impending darkness that will attack the DCU.

Great miniseries that will finally take a Superman adventure from the radio series and bring it to the comics wold. Great tale with lots of character struggle with real world issues. Fantastic art that shows a timeless Superman as well.

Overall, this is a strong issue that really puts the characters into deep internal struggles that will affect them and also has them questioning themselves. Great coming-of-age and also a fantastic early adventure of Superman.

Fantastic conclusion and showcase of the moments you've been waiting for, including lots of firsts for Superman. The children in this story also are very strong characters and you care about their struggles as well. If you want an adventure with growth along with positivity and hope, here is an adventure worthy of Superman.

Saladin Ahmed, German Peralta, and Jesus Aburtov create an issue that will take the "man without fear" and put him on the run as he deals with choices, devils, and Bullseye. The issue will fill you with suspense and tease as you wait for the big confrontation. Awesome insights into Murdock's mind as he deals with being a holy man who dresses as the devil but fights for the truth.

Saladin Ahmed and Aaron Kuder showcase their abilities excellently in this issue with how they showcase Daredevil's world. Ahmed plays with DD's faith and provides him with pathways that allow him to accept the good that comes with choices while also keeping the responsibility challenged by having DD clean up some consequences of his choices. Kuder cuts loose as he puts DD on a wicked journey that allows us to see two contrasting sides of DD. Introductory Rites continues with quite the second wind for story and character.

Daredevil and Wolverine paint the town red as the Sins continue to plague Matt Murdock. Ahmed will make you question who is in charge of Wolverine and get you to examine Murdock's issue with that particular vice. Kuder and Aburtov give you a fight that delivers on the brutality and won't let your eyes escape that punishment. "Introductory Rites" is a hell of a welcome back for the Man Without Fear.

The Flash that started it all gets a moment with his family as they reconnect after being lost in time in Jay Garrick: The Flash #1. Adams, Olortegui, and Guerrero craft an entertaining opener that pulls you in with all of its questions. It's a great start to a miniseries with growing pains and character drama that will test this Flash Family.

Jay Garrick: The Flash #2 is an amusing issue that showcases the new adventures of the Garrick family. Seeing an out-of-time Judy experience modern moments is excellent, and now Jay Garrick is the worried-sick scarlet speedster. Jeremy Adams taps into family life perfectly, and the art team of Diego Olotegui and Luis Guerrero display the antics amazingly!

Jay Garrick: The Flash #3 is an awesome adventure that moves across ages of comics from Golden to Modern. We are treated to some great guest stars that make for fun pairings of heroes which all leads to the secret identity of Dr. Elemental. Check your back issues because this character has been there from the start. Just what are their plans for the end?

Jay Garrick: The Flash #4 is a fantastic origin for a new villain to the Garrick family and a superb example of what the New Golden Age is about! Jeremy Adams weaves Dr. Elemental into the DNA of the Garricks perfectly while building up a villain that could hold his own due to his connection to STAR Labs. Diego Olortegui and Luis Guerrero combine to paint the perfect picture of a madman and an outstanding addition to the DCU.

Jay Garrick: The Flash #5 is another great installment showcasing Jay's newfound fatherhood as he fights to save his daughter from the evil that helped him get his speed. This miniseries has been a wonderful tour of the DCU with its guest stars while seamlessly adding continuity without tripping itself up. It is such an exciting issue that leaves a bittersweet feeling as we approach the conclusion.

Adams, Olortegui, and company give the Garrick family an excellent spotlight that showcases their powers and bond. Just recently reunited and then torn apart by vile Doctor Elemental leads us to an entertaining exploit reminding us that you shouldn't forget about Jay when it comes to Flashes. JSA guest stars, crazy villains, and a wonderful family will explain why the promise of the New Golden Age must continue at DC Comics.

A great issue and exciting start to "Joker War". This sets the stakes and drama high and puts Batman in a situation that will be tough to get out of. Plus, it has us readers questioning how much The Joker really knows. Fantastic art makes this issue even more dynamic.

This issue keeps the hype train running at full speed. I feel like I'm reading a part of the story much later in the arc.

This is a great issue overall, but it did feel like a lull compared to the others. This must be that part of the story where you catch your breath and set up for the big bang. I am stunned by that cliffhanger last page and can't wait for the next issue.

Batman #98 features some great moments, but lacks that adrenaline punch that the first two parts had. Hopefully, this mid-arc lull will lead to an epic conclusion to "Joker War". Alfred saves the day at a bittersweet cost to us, and Harley vs. Punchline was surprisingly enjoyable.

This is a slow burn of an issue as we get a speech from the Joker as the Bat family regroups so they can divide and conquer. The best stuff comes at the end, which really makes the wait for the conclusion next issue that much more difficult.

This was a great story arc as a whole that really pressed Batman and his family against the wall with some impossible odds, but in the end it healed the family. The conclusion was reasonable, but I am excited for future issues and what will happen next for Gotham, Joker, Punchline, and Clownhunter.

Daredevil #1 hits heavy as you're seeing Matt Murdock go through some familiar pain. Chip and Marco are continuing their trailblazing run on Daredevil, but steel yourself as I think this will live up to the phrase, "the road to hell is paved with good intentions." Buckle up and keep your head on a swivel, as it will be a hell of a ride.

Anniversary sized issue that has Daredevil face his thoughts on belief and free will. You'll see new layers to Matt's life and gain a unique insight into why they happened. This new villain is quite the adversary who hits Matt right in the religion. All this is wrapped up in beautiful art by current and past creators.

This issue is full of great character interactions that set up for a potential crossover with the Hand. Luke Cage was one of the stars of this issue and proves that when you pick up the Daredevil series, you get more than just the Man Without Fear. Matt is looking to set up an army, and he has quite the cast to help him do that.

Don't miss out on this issue that sets the stage for the new era of Daredevil. I am so surprised by the events here, and that they didn't use this in the milestone #1 or #650 issues. Zdarsky has taken us through hell what's next? It starts here!

What is ideal is at the end of it all, you know there is a deadly threat waiting for these characters. The fire is starting up, so get ready for war.

Zdarsky and Checchetto bring the battle to epic proportions as the Punisher goes up against the Daredevils. Two characters, firmly entrenched in their beliefs, come to blows for an action-packed issue that highlights the characters inside while building up the suspense for the overall war.

Artist Manuel Garcia joins Chip Zdarsky as they slam the Fist into the wall. How will Matt Murdock handle his faith being tested? Lots of action, drama, and character in this turning point issue for the battle against the Hand. Another battle (or two) looms for Matt and the Fist.

"Dancing with Fire" is a great summary of Matt and Elektra's relationship. Zdarsky, Chechetto, and Wilson take their connection further as this creative team approaches the end. Do not miss this issue, as it sets up a huge showdown that'll have Daredevil fans talking.

Before Zdarsky, Checchetto, and Wilson leave Daredevil, they will take us on a fist-fighting, eye-catching journey through Hell. We get answers about the Book of the Fist, and Matt Murdock finds a force worth fighting for. Get ready to see the tide turn, as a sacrifice must be made before it ends.

A beautiful ending to a historical run on Daredevil that stands on its own but also intrigues you enough to see what the next team will have to face. Zdarsky, Checchetto, and Wilson deliver an excellent epilogue that will give you hope for the supporting cast of Daredevil.

Fantastic first issue. Dynamite characterization and story points from Ed Brisson and amazing art from Aaron Kuder. These two are revving the engine for the Ghost Riders.

Overall good issue which does help to drive the overall arc of the story, but leaves the reader wanting more in that wait between issues. Ed Brisson does a good job of creating a friction between the Riders and an interesting problem with Johnny as the King.

This is a fast read, but it does move the story along and leaves you wanting more. This is a huge struggle for the Riders and being the King isn't easy. Danny Ketch fans take notice of this issue, as there are some great moments and finally the talk you all wanted. Wrap all that up in some great art and you've got a good issue.

The first arc concludes and plays a big part in the setup for the future of the book, so in a lot of ways this is more like a prelude. Johnny Blaze and Danny Ketch both are dealing with changes to their power sets. I like that there will be more Spirits and different themes.

The players are coming together and the power sets are starting to get bigger. We now have Spirits of Vengance along with Spirits of Corruption and Kings of Hell...plus all the other dark realms. Things are being set up for a big showdown as Hearts of Darkness II begins.

Fantastic issue, feels like I got two comic books for the price of one. Juan Frigeri brings some excellent art to the table and when you see his Johnny Blaze on the last page you will be wanting more. Ed Brisson does a great job of balancing time and story between the two Riders and all the guest stars...this looks like it could be building towards a Marvel Event or just some amazing story in Ghost Rider; get this book on your pull list asap.

Issue #7 is a great return to Ghost Rider comics, especially after that cliffhanger. I love the shoutout to Hearts of Darkness in the Danny Ketch era of Ghost Rider and really appreciate the extras that Ed Brisson is bringing to legend of Ghost Rider.

Green Lantern #3 showcases a hero who smiles and a villain who is more than just a power set. Adams and Xermanico bring a positive vibe to this series that reminds you Green Lantern is an Earth hero with a life, even though he is rebuilding it. It's a fantastic setup for a showdown that will be interesting to see, plus more clues to what is accurate with the ring and some characters.

A great down-to-earth adventure that has entertainment doubled by the value of best friends as they face mystery, danger, and getting older!

Jeremy Adams, Xermanico, and the rest of the GL creative team craft an issue that inspires people, which we can really use now.

Green Lantern #6 gives and takes when it comes to answers from Jeremy Adams, but before those revelations, you'll be treated to a Red vs Green light show that will make you wonder if Christmas has lost its mind! Xermanico, Scott Godlewski, and Romulo Fajardo Jr. perfectly showcase the Lanterns' Lights as Will Tempers Rage.

Green Lantern by Jeremy Adams and company continues to be an excellent series with answers and exciting new questions that want to be explored. With this new issue, we see the fall of a favorite Lantern as we remember how dedicated these heroes are. If you haven't put this series on your pull list, get on it, as this issue is a great starting point.

This issue seems to be a breather between story arcs, but Jeremy Adams doesn't let Hal Jordan stay idle as he throws some curve balls that will be a strong setup for later. Things are bad for Odym. Carol has to make some decisions and potential answers about the ring from magic and what it is connected to, plus the United Planets are on the hunt. It is an exhilarating time for Green Lantern fans as some signs point toward big things within the Emotional Spectrum! Also, the 30th anniversary of Kyle Rayner brings back Ron Marz, but what other hints could that present?

I am enjoying the spark of hope that Mark, Dan, and Tamra are bringing to the DCU.

Chichester and Netho Diaz give us the best of past and present with their modern-styled trip to a memorable era of Daredevil. If you've been digging old-school style with modern storytelling, like World's Finest, then be sure to check out Daredevil: Black Armor.

Chichester and Diaz give good reasons why Daredevil will need armor by pitting him against Sabretooth and Hobgoblin in an action-packed issue that shows a fighter's edge. No matter Daredevil's vital status, he is always a man of the people in Hell's Kitchen, so when they go missing, DD looks for answers, which takes him underground and into the clutches of Baron Strucker, which will leave you entertained and looking for more.

Dawn of DC: Primer #1 is a free surprise this NCBD, and an excellent trip inside the mind of a ruthless tactician that will put the DC heroes back in check with her final solution. Joshua Williamson, Leandro Fernandez, and Daniela Miwa give Amanda Waller a mission that will challenge the Dawn of DC.

Quick introduction that showcases how the heroes and the dreamscape will be colliding to provide us with an entertaining event from DC Comics. Joshua Williamson, Chris Bachalo, and Howard Porter give us a short opening chapter that makes you question what is real and what is a dream.

A fun trip through the Marvel Universe timeline as told by Galactus himself. You will see classic moments in a new way and see how all the characters connect within the continuity of the House of Ideas.

This is a noteworthy moment in the DC Universe as we march towards the Dark Crisis. The issue showcases why they are the World's Greatest Heroes, but Williamson comes up with a significant threat to take them down. Now wrap that up in Sandoval's art, and you will be entertained!

I am so glad that we are getting an ending to the last volume of Ghost Rider without having to wait years like we did with Vol. 3. If you want to find out the fates of Johnny and Danny, check this out! If you're wanting to get some Mephisto in your life, check this out! King in Black: Ghost Rider #1 is a good story with beautiful art and a hard choice dilemma.

Knight Terrors concludes with sacrifices made, and one of those will haunt the DCU for a bit. How will images of heroes look after nightmares have distorted them? Night's End gives us a twist on being careful about your dreams and reminds us that heroes can come from anywhere. Get ready for characters to move on and an introduction that will have you wondering who is under the Helmet of Hate.

If you had fallen off the Nightwing book, then this is a perfect issue to return with. If you stayed with the book, then Dan Jurgens and company have found a new hook to reward the fans. There is some payoff with Ric's situation that will make the next issues of the main series very interesting.

Strikeforce is shaping up to be an interesting mix of heroes going up against evil forces. The issue doesn't stand alone, so be ready to commit if you want to see this team in action, but the team members do work really well together.

This issue is FANTASTIC! I highly enjoyed the way this took several events and tied them up very nicely by way of Blue Beetle. This story has heart and gives a dark take on what happens when we take on more than we can handle. Highly recommended!

Overall, this was a very good issue. It was nice to see different characters in the event and a good struggle was placed on all of them with dealing with love and death, but it did leave me wanting more.

Mooney & Messina craft an excellent opening to a potential epilogue to Cliff Secord's time as the Rocketeer by giving him the perfect life, yet Cliff can't find the thrill. Now by tossing him into the Den of Thieves, Cliff must sacrifice his peace to save others, but can he do it without a rocket pack? Is Cliff willing to pay that price?

So far, this series is a great way to increase interest for the upcoming Disney Plus show featuring a great buddy cop duo, but the hook seems very similar to the last Winter Soldier mini. Overall a fun read to keep us entertained till the show arrives.

This is a good issue with funny bits, but it really didn't help to get me inspired about Falcon and Winter Soldier again after this much time away from issue #2. It's worth a read to complete the story, but it just didn't get my hype up.

Falcon & Winter Soldier told a great story in a fun, thrilling ride, and best of all this conclusion made it all worth it. This series put two classic Marvel heroes together in an adventure that made sense and also tested their mettle. Consistent art and writing make this a fun read to reunite with these characters or see them in their glorious comic book form.

A story of what makes comics fun, while creating new concepts and expanding your philosophies. The art came together better in this issue I feel and the threat was high, but wrapped up a little too quickly and nicely. I hope the new concept of a Linearverse gets explored more in future DC Comics.

Generations Shattered will be a hard sell for some, considering what it's up against, but I think it is a great treat that takes you back to the sci-fi style of comics and epic scope of fantasy that will delight longstanding fans and get newer fans to check their history out even more.

This is a fantastic opener. Tom King will leave you asking questions, Dave Stewart will bring a set of colors that enhances the noir vibe, and Jorge Fornes will intoxicate your eyes with his images. I can't believe I'm reading a comic in 2020 where the names Otto Binder, Frank Miller, and Rorschach are all attached. Mystery hype is real!

Rorschach #2 is a great issue overall, but your enjoyment will hinge on you wanting to solve a mystery. This is the long game, so be patient -- but while deciphering evidence, relax and enjoy the astonishing art of Jorge Fornes. Don't forget to ask yourself what is Tom King trying to tell us with the characters he is introducing us to.

Rorschach #3 is a great issue that shows us the making of a monster with Laura Cummings, but at the same time presents a torn conflict -- if you had lived through what that family did, could you see that as normal? Looks like our main Detective might be considering that now too. So watch our for the Squids as you enjoy the beautiful art inside.

Rorschach #4 is a slow burn of an issue, but deep art and mysterious writing have me gripped and ready for more.

Rorschach #5 is a great addition to the overall mystery of Rorschach. I am invested in our point of view character and I enjoy all the new clues to add to my string theory board. The words and art come together magnificently to cause me to dig deeper into this new yet familiar world.

All in all, Rorschach #36 is a great issue that asks more questions, sets up some amazing suspense, and shows us more about Wil and Laura. But can we trust what we are being shown? More mystery in this adventure set in the Watchmen World.

Overall, Rorshach #7 is a great opener for the second half of this mystery. We still don't know much, but the line between sane and insane are blurring, which makes for thought-provoking reading. I enjoyed the dose of reality that is in this issue and can't wait to see where it leads us next.

Rorschach #8 is another great issue that adds to the mystery and gives you a lot to think about between issues, fantastic art that makes you question the reality of the situation, and a major puzzle that is begging to be solved. This is building my hype, so I can't wait till we start getting some answers.

Rorschach #9 is a great chapter that builds on the overall story. Each month I walk away from an issue with a deep story to think about and new clues from the real world that could tie in. I feel like I'm with the detective, and the ride continues to get wilder!

While this is a slower, tamer issue, Rorschach #10 is nonetheless a good addition to the series with new developments that tease the reader and makes that monthly wait even harder. Knowing what you know now, it might be a good time to go back and check facts.

Rorschach #11 is a great issue that walks a fine line between adding to the mystery and making you feel like you're following a crazy man. The issue will raise lots of questions, which is fun since this is a mystery. The art team gets some great opportunities to allow the dead to come back and present their side, so now it is up to you to decide before all is revealed (hopefully).

The conclusion is here, and it will polarize fans, but you need to think about what is happening and ask yourself...what do you see? How do you really feel about our Detective, Laura, and Turley? Isn't that the point of a Rorschach test after all?

Stargirl: The Lost Children #2 hits all the emotional beats while advancing the mystery. We can see that the Childminder isn't messing around, which puts Stargirl and Red Arrow in a dangerous spot. The Titans return as the top-class heroes who will protect us. Tom Taylor and Nicola Scott reunite to bring drama, action, and mystery to the Dawn of DC. As Nightwing says in this issue, "if the planet's protection is in my hands, I'm going to need my friends beside me." Titans Together, indeed!

After last issue's events, the Titans get their legs and press forward to discover a villain's rebranding, a hero changing viewpoints, and that the dead are alive. Tom Taylor and Nicola Scott put the Titans on quite the course with this new volume as they make their way across the DC Universe.

Titans #3 showcases that the team is not just action stars, but they are also investigators. They will have a tough time figuring out why the Flash will die, if the Church of Blood has reformed, and what made Tempest join the Church. Action, drama, and mystery abound as Tom Taylor and Nicola Scott tag team as a creative force that shows why the Titans are the premier DC super team.

Titans #4 is a fun issue with wonderful character moments that progress and tie together the problems plaguing the Titans. An appearance by Waller hints at what will come with Tom Taylor's future crossover and Nicola Scott shows you a new disgusting way to recruit people.

Titans #5 is a great issue that drives story and entertainment together. With the Rainforest and Flash's Death plot points getting closure, there is one more visit to Brother Blood, and we get another exciting reveal. This situation will be exciting and can lead to some wild fallout in upcoming issues. Tom Taylor and Nicola Scott deliver as always.

Starfire fans, take heed: this issue will expand on her origins and connections to the Beast World event. Brother Righteous was shown to be from Tamaran, but when you discover how connected he was to Starfire's woes, you'll understand her anger from that cover tease. Great sync with the DC event!

It's always darkest before the dawn. This issue proves it, as the Titans are against the ropes, but they regroup and come together for a costly win. The threat of Brother Eternity getting shut down will create a future problem for the close-knit team, as they might not like the solution made for them. It's a fun issue that adds to the Beast World event at DC Comics.

Titans #8 is a great issue that keeps the momentum going forward post-Beast World, as the Titans have to deal with threats from inner and outer forces. How far can Beast Boy be pushed? What will Raven's demonic side do to the team? Will Sgt. Steel's attacks sway the public? The Titans were rising as the best set of Earth's champions, and now they might not even survive as a team. The next arc goes for the foundations to destroy.

DCeased: War of the Undead Gods #1 is a fantastic opening issue leads to an emotional rollercoaster you will want to ride again. The creative team brings us disaster and hope, all while setting up a significant threat in the Anti-Living New Gods. The DCU has great evil, but this version makes that one look docile. The creative is bringing terror, so can the heroes bring hope?

DCeased: War of the Undead Gods #3 is a slower issue, but it still sneaks up on you and puts your emotions in flux. Adam Strange fans, watch out as your character shows up in the world of DCeased. It's so bittersweet to get your favorites to show up and then see their fates. Plus, there might be more at play than the creative team led us to believe.

The War of the Undead Gods slows down to look at the inner traumas that haunt the survivors. There are pieces here that will tug at your heartstrings, have you worry about the upcoming Undead army, and challenge alliances.

DCeased: War of the Undead Gods #5 is a high-octane issue as Tom Taylor, Trevor Hairsine, and the rest of the team take a ridiculous character and have him destroy worlds! If you thought undead Plastic Man was gross and scary, you haven't seen anything like this terrifying trickster. Stay safe as we approach the end!

This is an issue you won't want to miss! If you're an Alfred fan, brace yourself because his suffering isn't over yet. How can a man survive in a world with undead gods and fear lanterns? Get this issue and be astounded!

A couple of significant shifts in forces for the Undead will make for a good setup and conclusion. More Spectre/Alfred is always a great thing, and the creative team of Tom Taylor, Trevor Hairsine, Andy Lanning, and Rain Beredo welcome Lucas Meyer as they do wonders with putting the universe in danger.

Tom Taylor, Trevor Hairsine, and Lucas Meyer bring the end to the end of the DC Universe. We've seen some fantastic team-ups and combinations, but there are still more before they go. You'll see what happens when you piss off a Waynea resounding conclusion to a beautiful series.

A great issue that helps to celebrate the legacy of Alfred Pennyworth, but there are some moments that just take the spotlight away from Alfred and into the dramatic. I enjoyed getting to see the Robins and Batgirl reflect, but it would've been nice to see how this hit Bruce.

Devil's Reign: Omega #1 isn't just an omega; it is also an alpha! A fantastic wrap-up to the Devil's Reign event showcases deep character emotion and entices you to the next adventures for the characters. Even though Fisk's fall has happened, there is a lot to unpack and rebuild, making for a good story about future issues. If you're a fan of Luke Cage, you won't want to miss this issue as he steals the show!

This one-shot does a great job of taking Ben's story from Devil's Reign, giving it a solid, entertaining conclusion, and then folding him back into Amazing Spider-Man. It provides the Rose with some fun moments to shine and shows just how far a Spider-Man will go for his friends.

Here is a great comic that can lure you outside of the superhero feats with a mystery. DC Comics will get a chance to showcase its detectives with Christopher Chance in this maxi-series by King and Smallwood. The art is stunning; not overtly gritty, but still very noir. It reminds you of a timeless world that has superheroes but isn't drowning in them.

The Human Target #2 is an attractive dance between two characters that will entice you, but you'll discover hidden agendas by the end. The story drives Chance's mission, and we learn how the JLI are connected to Luthor. Now the question is, why the lies? All that wrapped up in alluring art and color will keep you on the case. The only thing missing from this issue is some soft jazz.

The Human Target #3 is a good issue that showcases a lover's quarrel in the world of spies and superheroes. It's entertaining to watch Guy Gardner and Christopher Chance match wits.

The mystery continues as another member of the JLI is being questioned, but they aren't the story's focus. Chrisotpher Chance is keeping an eye on his partner, Ice. It seems she has noticed, and she heats things up.

The Human Target #5 is a solid issue that dives into the mind and origins of our main character to update them for the modern audience. While looking at the past, a scandal was introduced that might change your mind about the JLI and its connection to this case. Good setup for the fallout!

The last issue of The Human Target before its hiatus leaves the fans wanting more, ending on quite a cliffhanger as we get passion, a lovers' quarrel, and that last page surprise will make this wait insufferable! Tom King and Greg Smallwood deliver in this one-two punch in terms of art and story. I know I'll be racking my brains to figure things out before this series returns.

All in all, this issue is a strong return by the creative team, and depending on how you read it, alliances are formed that could either lead to the real culprit or distract our investigator. Chance is an intelligent man, but it looks like lust and death are taking him on some wild rides.

Christopher Chance versus Rocket Red, what a fight! You will see what the Russian will do to someone who hurts his friend via Tom King and Greg Smallwood's imaginations, and trust me it'll hurt! It all leads to the big question: what does time mean when it is running out?

How often should you look over your shoulder when you're a master of disguise? That number will increase when the Dark Knight Detective is hunting you. Or maybe it's the guilt? Tom King and Greg Smallwood bring their best example of suspense to put the Human Target through the wringer.

This is a great issue featuring a wild teamup between a serious character and a goofball. Chance learns quite a bit, and it'll have you questioning characters' motives as Tom King and Greg Smallwood bring G'Nort in for an appearance. Man's best friend indeed!

With The Human Target #11, Tom King and Greg Smallwood craft an issue that shows how passion can complicate life and death. Christopher Chance finally sees beyond the mystery and seeks a deeper meaning. Ice can't accept her pending loss. The creative team gives us a tale that showcases these hurting hearts.

Tom King and Greg Smallwood's The Human Target wraps up, and the spotlight goes to Ice. If you're a fan of hers, check out this issue you'll understand why revenge is a dish best served cold.

An alternate take of how much worse things could have been for Hal Jordan. Jeremy Adams sneaks in some clues for his ongoing GL while helping to reestablish GL's place on Earth as he experiences the Knight Terrors of the DCU.

Wrapping up the nightmares of Hal Jordan and Sinestro makes for an entertaining look at what makes these two characters tick. Parallax is no longer a fearful issue for Hal, and when Sinestro is unsure of himself, he finds very polarizing sides to himself. Great wrap-ups that are entertaining and could play further in the main Green Lantern series.

Creative talent from the Return of Superman era return to show some fun glimpses back in Return of Superman 30th Anniversary Special #1. They show that the magic of that era is alive and can be revived at any time. Excellent add-ons to the Supermen's first appearances and a great reflection on one of the worst stories the Daily Planet ever ran.

Blast off to the world of yesteryear and experience high adrenaline and two-fisted action with The Rocketeer! What a great return to this hero on his 40th anniversary by putting him in quite the situation to remind us of the hero he is!

The Rocketeer: The Great Race #2 is a fun issue that continues to play in and build the timeless world of The Rocketeer. We are getting new characters that will have their parts to play, some obvious and some mysterious. Now we prep to enter the cockpit, participate in the great race, and see what action awaits.

It is a fun issue that moves the story along with lots of adventure for Cliff Secord and his alter-ego, The Rocketeer; the spotlight is also on supporting characters as they find themselves pulled into Cliff's world. The issue sets up a quick situation for Cliff both in and out of the jet pack.

The Rocketeer: The Great Race #4 is a suspenseful conclusion to this anniversary celebration of The Rocketeer. Stephen Mooney reminds us of just how incredible Cliff Secord's adventures are. We get more history about the late, great Dave Stevens. Treat yourself to this love-fest and share it with someone so they can experience the joy of comics!

The Green Lantern Season Two #9 is, once again, a great comic. You don't even have to have read the whole series to enjoy the fun, cover, but be prepared as it'll hook you into continuing the wild ride Sharp and Morrison are creating. This is great escapism and entertainment with a dash of the uncultivated chaos that comics can bring.

The Green Lantern Season Two #10 is a great issue that takes a love story and brings it to the wild upper limits that comics are all about. There is some maturity from Hal, even after all the things he been through

The Green Lantern Season Two #11 is a great issue that revisits the wonderful travels that Grant and Liam have put Hal on, all the while setting up the pieces to continue Ultrawar. There are doubts presented to Hal being a Green Lantern, but the last pages show us a man with no ring and his back against the wall, still willing to face it all. I can't wait to see what the next issue brings.

Maybe with a complete read of the entire run and no monthly spacing this may have felt more special, but this first read of issue #12 doesn't live up to the hype.

DC's summer event continues with a high-octane adventure that will have you worried for the heroes. Deadman gets some excellent moments as he squares up with Insomnia to search for the Dream Stone. This creative team will have you wide awake for their quest to save the day.

Knight Terrors #2 continues the story and gives funny banter between Deadman and Sandman while sprinkling in some clues, but it reads like a quick issue. It is enlightening to get some backstory on the Nightmare Stone and Insomnia with a tease of the Sleepless Knights, but some more action would've sealed the deal on this issue.

Joshua Williamson has a superb art team and a noted group of heroes that will give you an adventure that goes to the past and stops at the House of Horror. Sandman, Deadman, and Robin are an excellent sampling of DC's heroes that get the job done, but the story will make you question if this is actually a win for the heroes.

Insomnia reveals his motivations and origins in this issue as things twist and turn for our heroes. Deadman is at a loss, and Sandman is captive, so who will save the day? The conclusion is nearing as Knight Terrors set up real-life nightmares for the DCU coming true.

Fun issue with some much deserved down time for the Avengers. Deep looks into the thoughts of the team members, lots of bonding, and some foreshadowing before we get into the next arc, "Challenge of the Ghost Riders."

A slow burn for the anticipation of the main race, but a good and necessary start to the arc.

Part two of the Riders arc does a good job to continue driving the story by introducing a fierce challenge for the Avengers. We are starting to see the Ghost Riders interact with each other and a dive into their history.

I can't wait for next issue's conclusion and to see how this all shakes out and leads to the new Ghost Rider series. This issue really did a great job of moving the story along and also peeling back the curtain to get us wondering who the villain will be.

The ending mostly sticks the landing, but some characters felt off and sometimes unnecessary to the overall story. Great moments and growth for Robbie Reyes as a Ghost Rider and an Avenger.

Priest, Pagulayan, Paz, and Cox unite as a tremendous force, crafting a beautiful story that tests Lois and Clark's relationship while showing fans how wild their world can be. A Superman shaken to his core and estranged from his wife seems to be a welcoming story for the Man of Tomorrow.

Priest and Carlo Pagulayan continue to show Superman's odyssey as he is lost in space and time. Encounters that will leave trauma on Superman as he returns. This issue will make you think about how vital a breath can be in a crazy situation.

Superman's biggest problem in this issue is...being Superman! Priest, Carlo Pagulayan and company take being Superman to a level of helping and punishment that drives Superman on such an emotional journey for our entertainment. Get ready to see how lonely and cold the universe can be.

Clothes make the Superman as we learn the value of his suit. Saving people is an integral part of Superman's character and get ready to see a side of him as struggles with the fact that he needs to be saved. Plus, ideals clash as Superman struggles with what do in the conflict created by Priest and Carlo Pagulayan.

Superman's Odyssey continues as his life is challenged by the past, present, and choices he might make. The veil continues to peel back as we discover the fallout of Szhemi's death and what the Lantern brings to this journey. Can Superman find and trust hope?

The ruse of Superman on Superman is just not enough to carry this issue and story arc any further. 10 months for this odyssey to complete is a big ask. There are redeeming qualities like the situation between Lois and Lex Luthor, the fantastic art by Weeks and Pagulayan, and Superman seeking help. Still, this issue shows that this will read better as a collected edition since the time wait is taken out.

Strong epilogue with some strangeness from Kraven at the end, but I'm glad to see the story stick the landing, possible threats with the Savage Six and Chameleon, and Pete and MJ for a moment.

Amazing Spider-Man Annual 2023 hits all the right notes as the leading players intersect. Hallows' Eve is getting the perfect voice to tell Spider-Man she is tired of him dragging her down and preventing her happiness. The Fall of X hits Spidey's world harshly, and MJ is dealing with her run of bad events. Spider-Man's world just can't escape that Parker Luck.

A decent issue with a blast from the past memory to celebrate the life of Alfred Pennyworth. Nice memories of yesteryear and some insights to how important Alfred was to Bruce and his mission. Plus closing out an open case from Alfred's secret agent days is a nice goodbye.

Ghost Rider: Return of Vengeance #1 is a good issue that brings back another rider to the mystical parts of the Marvel Universe. It's a strong read that introduces the character to new fans while staying true his roots for longtime readers, all the while reminding us that there is more to Vengeance and his ways.

Justice Society of America #1 is a great start with action, mystery, and character that will help the JSA return to their all-star status in the DCU. Johns, Janin, and Bellaire craft an entertaining story that will help you want to return to solve this mystery. What's old is new again, but it's deeper, bolder, and more exciting this time!

The mystery of DC's New Golden Age continues as the Huntress faces the original JSA. Can they come together to face an enemy that can take on any time? We'll see the answer to that elongate as Huntress travels across the DC timeline to get help from heroes across other eras.

The action comes to the modern day as Huntress meets the JSA, and things look like they'll move forward until the villain arrives. Geoff Johns, Mikel Janin, Jerry Ordway, and Jordie Bellaire bring the goods from the past and the present to keep the excitement high and build for a showdown.

Degaton vs the JSA and Huntress is the wildcard! New mysteries arise to trouble our heroes, characters are explored, and just how powerful is Degaton? Huntress starts to explore more of the DC landscape and tempts fate with her interactions.

The Society vs. Degaton and his crew is an exciting, entertaining resolution to their current showdown. You'll see JSA members from eras get fantastic moments to shine. Plus, the issue has some great future teases that will have you returning for more of the Justice Society.

Justice Society of America #6 captures what the Society is about: Family, Legacy, and Learning. Johns and guest artist Marco Santucci craft a fantastic issue that takes the Society back to what makes them stand out from the JLA: earnest character moments. This issue was much calmer but rewarded readers of the New Golden Age by showing these stories payoff, plus the increased release frequency capitalizes on the team's energy!

Geoff Johns and Marco Santucci bring us a heaping of characters for the JSA to interact with. When we get some information, there seems to be another door opening, and it will be quite the task to give these classic and new characters enough screen time for this era of the Justice Society to make an impact. The issue drives the story forward but doesn't hit like previous ones have before.

The mysteries from the Lost Children and the Thirteen are getting some answers and interactions, which is excellent. Yet, with each revelation, there is a new situation. Johns, Janin, and Bellaire entertain with the Golden Age Red Lantern and connections to Alan Scott. What will be Ruby's ultimate choice be in our current timeline, and could she prove Huntress wrong about her future JSA team? The revelations will keep readers in suspense.

This issue keeps the JSA on their toes as they help round up Huntress' recruits to help them find redemption while helping Star Girl's Lost Children integrate into the greater DCU. Johns, Janin, and Bellaire round up the entertainment as they keep fans intrigued by revealing who the Legionnaire is and how that identity will impact the now, future, and the Society.

Punchline #1 is a good setup issue that dives into Punchline's origins and motivations, but still enough to question her mentality. I appreciate the commentary she brings and how divisive she can be. Plus, getting to see Harper Row again is very exciting.

Jon has to deal with the all-too-real price of heroics sometimes, and you can tell that while he is Superman, he still has a lot of growing to do. It is a tough job to take on, and Jon is doing excellently, and I love that he is wise enough to recognize that he doesn't have to do it alone. The shared talk with Jon and Dick was great, and it felt like such a bonding moment that will lead to this next generation of Superman and Batman trusting each other a lot more than their fathers do.

'Virtually Yours' is an interesting modern take on digital apps and dating. Great character building and fantastic art create a real atmosphere. Rom-com tropes are present, but with a unique twist.

Dark Crisis: Worlds Without A Justice League #1: Superman is a fun exploration of growing pains with a Super Father raising a Super Son. We see how Clark would've reacted to Jon's years spent growing up. We see how much Clark missed by being robbed of that time with Jon.
