I wasn't expecting anything that happened in this issue, and this fact alone deserves a great rating.

Metallo showing us he can be a hell of a physical threat, but still a tragic e manipulated figure - I do remembered Frankenstein's Creature when Metallo was creating that new body. Story is great as always, with some good touches of body horror, as so the art.

Superman: Son of Kal-El (2021) #16 Oct 11, 2022

It wasn't bad at all, but a bit too rush.

Everything is just great in this issue. Action Comics is the best comic I read monthly easily. Story is stunning, art is stunning! And Lex and Metallo promises to be their worst versions (in a good way) so far. Can't wait.

It was a little better than the previus issues, but still a ruined opportunity.

It's just me or Taylor just told us the same story in Nightwing and Son of Kal-El? Bruno Redondo saves this title from be just ok.

An epic conclusion for this epic story. As a fan from Big Blue, just thank you, PKJ!

It's everything Superman represents in the best shape. Can't wait for the conclusion.

Another perfect issue. And we can already see where the story is going to. Can't wait to see the Revolution in Warworld.

It's funny to see Batman running away, just love it. And the action was very cool, just don't like the Task Force X's part, couldn't understand almost anything by the drawing.

The only problem with this issue is the fact that it ends. Wow, what a perfect issue! The characterization in the beginning, respecting the confuse timeline, the little jokes, and, of course, how the stories of both main characters continues to advance one way or another. And Bruno Redondo doing his amazing job as usual.

It is really cool how Higgins tells us two origin stories in one issue, so we don't need to spend much time with it. And Supermassive Is coming, hell yeah!

Just a great issue. Now Bendix revealed his Master plan and Jon have a new and interesting direction to go alongside Jay. Can't wait for the crossover.

Okay, this issue was very interesting. Williamson's run is getting better week after week, and the mistery do make me curious. Abyss is quickly becoming a great villain, an excellent addition to Batman's rogues gallery. And it's interesting to think about his relationship with Batman Inc., as he probably sees himself as a hero and maybe he's seen that way by the rest of Batman Inc. And I really liked the armor that Lex is wearing. The art is also great.

Right, I wasn't excpecting anything from what happened here... but I loved!

The beginning of this issue was kinda boring, just remembering all Crisis until now, but after that I liked very much. I love JL Incarnate, and if the team's limited series is not epic and great in it's totality, at least is very fun to read.

It is a solid issue, witg the story of the kingdom. The Green Man is a little strange idea, mixing Luthor, Joker and Green Lantern, but is another Earth, another story, and everything is possible, so okay. Is fun to read, anyway.

Great story and great art. In this issue, the story is getting deeper and we're seeing the consequences for Authority. Superman is adapting and the final made me very curious. Incredible issue!

One more cool issue! A lot of fun.

I love everything about this comic book, and this issue is just perfect. From the writing to the drawns, every little thing work together in harmony to bring life this brilliant issue. And the Heartless arc make me very curious about what happening next. The best comic book Taylor is writing in the moment.

Just loved the issue. It was so fast in a good way - I mean, I was really afraid that Taylor would start this next arc so slow, and, in the same time, advance nothing with the story. But no! The writing is smart, talk about everything and has no holes in it. Just don't liked the art, as usuall.

I have read this issue expecting nothing but the worst, but actually I kinda liked it a lot. It's fun, have a beautiful art and Bendis is clearly trying to control his "bendialogues". I will definitely will read the next - now more excited.

This issue was definitely better than the first one of this run. Art was great in the most part, and all Lex and Abyss story let me very interested in the reading. Can't wait for next issue, and to see Lex and Bruce working together - it has potential to be very chaotic in a good way.

Just loved this first issue, Mark Russell doing what he knows best, and the art is great. Really enjoyed how the characters were characterized, even with it's just hard to thinking in Power Girl or Red Tornado in this stiry at first. And very curious about Gangbuster.

Another cool issue. The art is beautiful, and I can see what Taylor is doing here: don't like King Jefferson dying at first, but then it became clear, that the prophecy is happening even through Zala'd anger. I really do appreciate when characters, trying to avoid a prophecy, ended up fulfilling it.

I really, really love Justice League Incarnate, the best JL so far in my opinion. And this issue showed us why the very concept of this team is so great: finally someone is exploring DC's other Earths since Multiversity! Morrison let it all ready for other authors to play, and it take so long, but this issue did this greater then the previous two. Very excited for the end of the story, and can't wait to see others stories with JLI.

Like the others issues, it was fun to read. Not great, but fun. But Ambush Bug is a pain in the ass.

Really liked this issue. There's something I was missing a little in DC stories: good support characters. I enjoyed how Lois, Robin and Jay are there to support Jon, doing things he can't. And the story is great, our new Superman doesn't just throw punches, but already try another ways to save the day. Just not a 10 because I don't like the art.

I just love Black Hammer's world, and BH Reborn is just too cool as the original BH. Usually I don't like Colonel Weird's travel for the Para-Zone, but this issue is very interesting and beautifully drawn by Ward and Sheean.

This issue was amazing as every issue from Warworld Saga. Seriously! Mendonça's art is great as ever, and PKJ is taking his time to slowly create a really epic saga about hope. The end of the issue was inspired by everything Superman has of best. Can't wait for the next issue.

This issue was not so good like the previous two, but it was also really fun. Don't like the art very much, but the directions this issue take made me curious.

Just another beautiful, beautiful issue! Oh my God, what a incredible issue! Tom King in his best shape since Rorschach. Smallwood's art is charming as ever, and everything works perfectly. Loved it how Skeets is funny and both Guy and Booster are very well written, seryously. We're seeing a modern classic being born.

Another cool issue. RB is easily one of the most fun comic books I'm reading this year. Just love all this Super Sentai temathic stuff. And I like it how things have consequences to our heroes. And love the art.

I really don't know where King's going with this story anymore. I mean, some parts really works well separately, but not as one issue. Is just... strange. I don't know how to explain properly. About Sharp's art, some pages are incredibles, others are ugly. It seems like normal to him these days.

I like when different artists draws different worlds or story arcs in the same issue, just like in this issue, but the story was very messy.

This was not a simple comic book. It was a narrative class by Bruno Redondo. Taylor's script was very cool, putting Nightwing ready to battle for the soul of Bludhaven, but the sequential art is the very charm of this issue. And Bitewing! I loved it!

I liked. Better than Tynion's run, at least. The best thing was Molina's art. And the mystery, it made me very curious. Not great, but cool to read.

A very, very cool issue. I didn't expect nothing from this story, but is actually great. The story arc advances with rhythm, and Kala Jor-El is a fine addition to the story - and her romance with Diana was unnexpected, but really cool. By the way, not just Kala, but Constantine, Lois Lane, Amanda Waller, Taylor's Suicide Squad (he won't let DC forget those characters), all great additions to the story, in very interesting roles. And Yasmine art is beautiful as ever. To finish: let's bring war!

Taylor is creating Jon's own mythology, what is great, and a holographic dad and Lex Luthor couldn't be outside, of course. I liked how Taylor prevented any complaint about Jon not using his powers to solve climate changing in this issue by just simply showing that is everyone's problem and Superman isn't a nanny. Other thing: the chess play was far more interesting than the fight itself. I liked the art, but Jon's hair was ugly as s**it. And Batman was terrible in this issue.

This issue was supposed to be the last of the season, but luckily DC decided to extend for more six issues. And is great, because Ram V and Mike Perkins definitely know what're they doing with this great story. I liked the way how Levi finished the conflict with his brother (he doesn't want to fight, after all) and all pieces are still in the game. Can't wait to see what comes next.

Another great issue, King in his best shape! Oh my, I'm really amazed by this issue. Almost anything happened, but, in a strange way, everything happened, and we finish the issue with the feeling that Human Target advanced in his investigations (principally because he already knew previously how the things were going to happen with Ice). And about Ice, oh my God, how beautiful, charming and lovely she is. Made me absolutely stunned with her presence in all the issue, and I'm a new fan of her right now. Principally because she can be Change's next girlfriend or his killer, we absolutely don't know - and this is f**king amazing! About Smallwood's art, one word describes well: perfection. Greg Smallwood could drawn every comic in DC history from now on, no problem. And the colors are just pretty awesome as well. A handsome issue, with a handsome art.

A cool issue, with great action and a great good cop-bad cop story (but Jason isn't so bad cop, anymore. He's more like a angry cop now). I liked the interaction between Dick and Jason in the past, all that brothers talk. I kmow is a retcon, but worked for me. I don't see why they can't be brothers (or at least friends) being both from the Bat Family. The villains are generic, but okay to a one-issue story. And I like Clayface, so it's cool to see him again. I liked the arts, but I really hate this new costume that Red Hood is using.

I just love the very concept of JL Incarnate, the best Justice League in years now (and waiting patiently to take place in a movie, c'mon). And I just loved Infinite Frontier and this first issue for the new limited series. The art is cool sometimes and nothing spectacular in others, but Williamson is proving himself a great writer, providing misteries, action and using DC's Multiverse in all of it's potential. Just curious to see the next issue. And hope JL Incarnate get a monthly series after. Oh, and let me take a moment to talk about Doctor Multiverse. I was expecting some weird character with a shit story and poor reasons to be un the story, but in the end I liked her. A character with great possibilities, even in a potential future new crisis.

This is really the best Superman run in years, no doubt. The story is just epic and great, and PKJ is twisting everything in ways we can't even imagine. I mean, we already knew previously that Superman would be made a powerless slave in WarWorld, but his entire team losing that way? And the death of certain character in that way? Absolutely not expecting that. I'm very curious to know the role The Authority will take in this WarWorld Saga. About the art, Mendonça is crushing it, his art is very beautiful.

It's just a weird (in a bad way) issue with ugly art. But I just need to keep reading this nonsense.

Another great issue! And this one was so funny at certain points! The art is fine, but a little weird in the faces sometimes. But I like how the plot Green Lantern vs. Green Arrow is slowly taken form to a great confrontation - but how Oliver know about the vampires? Curious, curious... And Batman is running for the war, this can be very good.

This comic is... strange. It has a lot of text, little action for a title that implies action, but is still cool - I don't really know how, just enjoyed. And, of course, Eddy Barrows' art is always incredible.

The story is cool, although it doesn't always seem clear which direction it plan to go. Didn't really like Alfred's gone, but the romance with Blair is very interesting. I love Sorrentino's art, but is confusing sometimes, the panels and stuff. And I'm very curious about the imposter's identity.

Actually, I'm not reading all the Fear State bullshit, but I just read Nightwing and it's ok. But the art is inconstant: Barbara is still so much beatiful, but the rest is kinda of ugly e weird.

This issue was damn good! All the "salvations sequences" were great, Superman being Superman. And I don't care Jon being bi, but the kiss come out from nowhere. I mean, they just... kissed... for no reason or even a flirting. So I do expect that Taylor gives us some relatioship development from this start (please, Tom). About the art, still don't like it.

Just loved everything in this issue. Actually, Johnson can be writing the best Superman run in years (before was Superman by Tomasi, in my opinion, but this story is growing strong). Sampere's art is great as ever, I was really missing some great artists working with the Big Blue. About the story, finally Superman and the Authority arrived at War World, and I liked how nothing did like Superman expected. It was an awesome twist that this happened in the very beginning of the invasion. Just felt that the story was a bit of a rush. Oh, and I'm curious about the phaelosian mistery (if any phaelosian survived, of course).

What a great issue! Absolutely amazing! It took me a while to read, but worth it every second of the reading. I just love Loeb and Sale's work at Batman, and this issue is another great contribution to the myth. And Sale's art just grew older very well.

I really liked this issue, but felt that conclusion was a little rushed. Templesmith art is beautiful as ever.

Okay, this issue was surprisingly fun, and made me very curious to read the next chapter in this fable. I just loved Yasmine Putri art, and it seems Tom Taylor just can't make mistakes at this point. Seryously, just read.

I just loved this issue. Is King becoming again the great writter we all know he really is. And I loved Smallwood's art, some beautiful drawns - and the colors make all some special. It's very, very cool to see Dr. Midnight and JLI back, when DC is already ignoring those characters. I feel that King will honor them.

Another great issue. The first season is coming to it's end with a promise of a huge battle between brothers and the destruction of a evil company. I like that. Art and story 10/10.

I wasn't expecting so much fun. It really is the next DCeased, and I just need a DC vs Werewolfs next.

I love Liam Sharp, but his art wasn't very inspired in this issue. All Joker/Catwoman part (in the past) was cool to read, but Batman was very silly and mushy. And all the christmas tree thing was too ridiculous.

Despite being a Nightwing issue, the focus was on Barbara, and that's okay. I'm not reading Fear State, so I didn't understand the context, but read anyway. The art was inspired in some moments (with Barbara incredible beautiful), but ugly in others.

The story in this issue was a little rushed and I didn't like the art, but enjoyed Aerie and Wink appearing and the final let me curious dor the next one.

Another great issue, with the right answers, new and intriguing questions and a perfect final connection to Action Comics. Oh, and I loved all the brawl!

Another great tale of horror from the minds of Ram V and Perkins. A monstrous story about monstrous creatures and humans consequences. And Peacemaker has an interesting path in his way. Curious to see him in Suicide Squad from now on. And about our Swamp Thing, now he has to deal with his ouwn heart and his own blood.

I understood the intent of this issue, putting Supergirl on edge by showing her one horror after another, but it was just so…boring and emotionless. It wasn't bad, just boring. Bilquis' art and Lopes' colors are as beautiful as ever, nothing to complain about it.

In my opinion, this was a perfect issue! Sampere's art is stunning, and Johnson definitely knows what he's wanna do with AC. Loved it from the start to the end.

Another incredible issue, proving that Jon Kent is the Superman that the new times need - not just throwing punches, but trying to make significant social changes. I don't like the art very much, but it's not all bad.

It was a great tie-in issue. It would be even better if it didn't need to connect with Fear State and continue the story that was being developed. Art has its moments, but it was nothing special. Bruno Redondo was missed.
