Holy shit this is an incredible issue

Phenomenal story with a consistent grasp on characters, at no point do I feel these characters would act out of their established personalities

Kinda disappointed at first because i thought we were gonna get a Mr Bloom Origin story (SPOILER ALERT>>>>>>> He is in this issue for one or two panels), but when i reread it and started paying closer attention i really liked it, mostly cause the story unfolds a bit like Snyder/jock/Francavilla's Black Mirror arc(one of the greatest Batman stories in recent years). Overall I think this is another great issue in an already great Batman run with some really noirish art from Jock.

Picked this up because i was a massive fan of Warren Johnson's work on Ghost fleet. Was a bit leery initially cause most artist's turned writers have been bad to ok (with a few exceptions of course). Anyway, I think Johnson pulled off both jobs quite impressively (I don't hate the main characteers so chalk that up to a win for the writing)

Not as "wow inducing" as HOXPOX but it does set the stage for what the series will be, doses of action and downtime. I also very much love Hickmans voice for magneto. Yu's art was nice but I felt it didn't leave to strong an impression on me

This is the worst trash I've ever read. Edit: Enjoyed the Catwoman prose. but some parts of the issue were a bit too vague 7.5/10

Dialogue isn't up to King's usual standards. Meanders a bit with the Punch/Jewlee and tiger scene. Catwoman hasn't been RUINED!!!!!! (For me at least). Art is very nice. Looking forward to the next issue. 7.5/10

The fuck did I just read? It didn’t make any sense. And even if that was the point of this series it has to still be enjoyable.

The words seem important and have meaning.... they just dont make sense and sounds pretentious
