I didn't know what to expect before reading this but knowing Kelly Thompson's work, I had high hopes. Absolute Wonder Woman #1 exceeded all of my expectations. I can't wait to see what comes next from this creative team.

Erica Schultz does it again!

With the excitement of the movie coming this week, I can't get enough of these two together. Deadpool and Wolverine have a friendship that knows no bound, or a bromance as Deadpool would call it. Both have high respect for each other, even if it's not said out loud. This was the perfect run to read leading up to Marvel Studios' Deadpool & Wolverine. The creative team killed it with this run!

There's not a single negative thing I can say about the artwork of Kahhori: Reshaper of Worlds #1. With gorgeous and vibrant colors juxtaposed with the impressive amount of detail, you feel like you're on the Ancestral Plane. My personal favorite was every panel that had the villain of the comic looked larger than life with the bright, abstract effects of the space stone being used. Hats off to the artists because they made each page even more exciting to look at than the last.

Jed MacKay truly excels when writing about Moon Knight, and this is no exception to that. Throughout Moon Knight: Fist of Khonshu #1, there's an ominous feeling leading up to the reader seeing Moon Knight handle his business rather than it just being discussed. It's expertly written to keep you in a type of suspense while watching multiple moving parts happen in the story. The comic leaves off on a pretty surprising reveal that makes you realize just how dark this comic run is going to get. After reading this first installment, I'm very eager to read more of what MacKay and the rest of the creative team give us with Moon Knight.

All in all, I'd say this was a homerun. It had so many complex elements that were tackled perfectly by the creative team. You find yourself becoming attached to the main character as well as his ghost sidekick, and finding yourself getting emotionally attached the the story itself. It's easy to lose yourself in this graphic novel. I look forward to seeing what the creative team comes up with next.

What's a fantastic storyline without the remarkable artwork? Not this one, that's for sure. Vincenzo Carrat, Fer Sifuentes-sujo, and Ariana Maher truly put the work in for Psylocke #1 to be at its best. With Kwannon's powerset, this comic was sure to be beautiful to look at, but I wasn't ready for the fight scenes. With Kwannon's acrobatic technique juxtaposed with her agility, you can practically see her moving in the panels. The artists really showcased their talents here.

I am LOVING what Steve Orlando is doing with this run! It's mystical, it's hard-hitting, it's beautiful. Involving the Queen of Nevers with Wanda was such a great choice and a creative way to showcase Wanda being even more of a badass than she already is. I can practically hear the third edition calling my name as a sit here wanting more and more.

Overall, I think this was a really strong continuation from the first two installments of Scarlet Witch. I absolutely love what Steve Orlando is doing with this run and Wanda's character. Judging by all the callbacks to different times in Wanda's life, I say Orlando has a great grasp on who Wamda is as a character and knows how to use her.

I loved everything about Scarlet Witch #4. The creative team did a superb job and I can't wait to see their talent continue with Wanda.

The story was fantastic! The art was inspired and it left me on the edge of my seat asking for so much more. I had high hopes when I first learned Storm was getting her own comic run in From the Ashes. Two issues in and this Storm run has exceeding all of my expectations.

TMNT: The Last Ronin Re-Evolution #3 does a great job with continuity of the overall story while adding in more factors giving the story even more depth. Kevin Eastman and Tom Waltz do a really great job in keeping you fully invested in each character and what the future holds for them. Having the Turtles slowly start to show their surprising powers feels like such a slow burn and is being handled masterfully. This comic really does feel like it was written with the TMNT fans in mind. I am really looking forward to seeing what's next for April, Casey, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

The Uncanny X-Men comics are some of the ones I look most forward to coming out in the From The Ashes era, and for good reason. The creative team has done an excellent job with these characters and I can't wait to read the next one.

I was instantly hooked when I started reading Dark Empty Void #1. The story is compelling right from the start, and keeps you wanting more as the story continues. You find yourself relating to Joy as she gives lectures on depression while she is going through the struggle herself. The characters are easy to connect with while still maintaining mystery as you learn more about them. I'm not usually one for sci-fi thrillers, but Dark Empty Void #1 was fantastic all around. Can't wait for the next installment!

I thought Dark Empty Void #1 started off really strong, but the second installment proves that streak will continue. I'm over the moon about Dark Empty Void #2.

Personally, I loved everything about this comic. It felt like an old school Spider-Man story, along with new modernized aspects such as a certain new hero assisting Peter and Venom. I really loved the dialogue between Venom and Peter, showing how truly different they are and why Peter is right in not wanting to bond with Venom. The Venom War event has been excitement after excitement and this comic was no different. I look forward to seeing what's next!

All in all, I think this was a lot of fun. Any time Venom and Spidey get together, it's usually a good time, but this felt different with a different dynamic between the two. Spider-Man with his never-ending positivity and Venom in his vulnerable state of mind makes for a very different kind of bond. Venom War: Spider-Man #2 is a great continuation of its predecessor, and I can't wait to see what's next.

I found Venom War: Spider-Man #3 to be a pleasant surprise. The Venom War has been quite steady in its plot, so seeing the future a Peter Parker being a symbiote host and what devastation that brings was a very fun change of pace.

I think this was a superb ending to Venom War: Spider-Man. I can't wait to see what the creative team does next as I think they really knocked it out of the park here.

This was such a fun read, that I read it twice already. I loved every aspect of Annihilation 2099 #2, and I can't wait for more! Kudos to the creative team. Y'all did a great job!

I've always loved comics involving Dazzler, so I was intrigued when I heard she was getting her own run in From the Ashes. I have to say, I really think the creative team knocked it out of the park with Dazzler #1. It was fun, it was heartwarming, it was everything I wanted it to be. Hats off to the creative team!

The artists of Dazzler #2 continue to impress with their bright and vibrant colors contrasting Dazzler's white and silver aesthetic. The whole scene with Dazzler and her performance that was attacked was gorgeous to look at and kept me wanting to stay on the page. The creative team makes the comic run feel like a teenage pop star's dream and it's pitch perfect for the story and tone.

I loved that the continuation of The Ultimates #2 continued the excitement of the first installment, even more so in my honest opinion. Deniz Camp really excelled at showing the many emotions that go into this story. Whether it be the cockiness of Midas or the grief of Captain America, it was nailed perfectly.

All around, Venom War: Deadpool #1 was an exhilarating read. Deadpool always brings the entertainment factor, but adding in Silence and Marvel monsters is just the cherry on top. It was really great seeing some fan favorite monsters blend perfectly into Deadpool's take on the Venom War. I am really curious to see where Cullen Bunn takes this run in the Venom War event as Deadpool was not who I expected when first hearing about this event.

Venom War: Deadpool has easily been the most entertaining miniseries to come out of the Venom War and the second installment solidifies that.

I've been saying that Venom War: Deadpool is the most fun miniseries to come out of the Venom War, and I still stick to that. It's the seriousness of the Venom War, but with the same fun vibe as a Deadpool comic. Hats off to the creative team because I genuinely enjoyed myself through the run!

I didn't know what I was getting into when I first started The Power Fantasy #1, but I felt nothing but excitement. The story is very enthralling and has so much room to work with.

The Power Fantasy #2 continues to keep you locked into the story with it's extremely compelling characters. Each one is so different from the other but they really do have the dynamic of a family. I really enjoy how well Kieron Gillen is able to absolutely nail the character building at the same time as world building, and still everything feels so fluid and well put together. I'm looking forward to continuing to follow this run as it's been an exciting ride so far.

All in all, The Power Fantasy continues to impress. It's such an excellent read and leaves you wanting to know more about each character or has you on the edge of your seat with what will happen next with the Family. I look forward to reading the best issue and seeing what the creative team gives us!

Kieron Gillen does another excellent job with this exciting run. The Power Fantasy is only on it's fourth issue and it already has so much built into this world. The storyline and the characters are so very compelling, you can't help but stay hooked to each character's story. I really am enjoying learning more and more about the Family members and their dynamics.

I enjoyed it so much and I can't wait to see what Stephanie Phillips comes up with next. The art, the dialogue, the story, all of it meshed so well together. Hats off to the creative team. Y'all knocked it out of the park!

I felt the art style perfectly complemented the comic's tone. The vibrant colors of Jean and the Phoenix Force brought even more depth to an already powerful narrative. My favorite moments were whenever Jean tapped into the Phoenix Force. She was illustrated and colored so beautifully that she truly felt like a cosmic entity. Another part I really appreciated what the festival with Carol Danvers and Jean. The colors were simply beautiful and made you feel yourself that you were letting loose with Jean.

The artwork is simply stunning! Throughout Phoenix #5, each panel feels larger than life. The artwork of the Phoenix run has been beautiful but I would say this issue is the best of the run so far. Without giving too much away, the first few pages are feasts for the eyes. Once you pick up the comic and start reading you'll see why I say that. Another home run for the artists!

Now that Krakoa has fallen, the mutants have to reintegrate themselves into the human society. With the already existent tension growing between the mutants and the humans, someone has to keep the very fragile peace between the two. That's where the Sentinels come in. Not the usual mutant-hunting robots, but a group of soldiers dripping in nanotech. They must keep the peace between the humans and the mutants, and in order for them to do that, they must go after some of the most diabolical mutants the world has seen.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I first started reading Sentinels but so far I'm really enjoying what I've read. It's a fun read that feels really grounded to me and it seems like the sky's the limit with where it can go.

With the exciting story, it's only right to have great artwork that goes with it. The artists of Spirits of Vengeance #2 go out of their way to make it a beautiful comic to read. With the blue tones of the ocean contrasting the orange and yellows of the flames from Ghost Rider, every panel is a feast for the eyes. One of my favorite parts was at the end when we see the transition from Ghost Rider to Johnny Blaze that showed how devastated he was with what the sea witch told him. The facial expressions were perfectly handled.

Venom War: Daredevil #1 does a great job at keeping you hooked into the story and excited all the way through. It was really interesting to see the Venom War from Matt and Elektra's perspective. I have to say that Venom War: Daredevil #1 shows the Venom War in a much more terrifying light than most of the other comics I've read in the event. I loved how hectic and dark the attack of the zombiotes was because I feel that's much more believable in that situation. Overall, this felt like how the tone should be during the Venom War.

Venom War: Fantastic Four #1 was a nonstop thrill ride of excitement coming from the smartest characters in the Marvel Universe. It was a definitely very different for the Venom War, but I think it always somehow fit in perfectly. The comic does a great job showing just how huge the Venom War truly is.

Honestly, I thought this comic was the best of the run. The art was fantastic and the writing was spectacular. I'm really loving Nightguard and Wolverine as a team, especially during the Blood Hunt event. Hats off to the creative team for Wolverine: Blood Hunt #3!

Tom Waltz knocked it out of the park, yet again. This ending installment of Wolverine: Blood Hunt was a perfect conclusion. The action played loudly throughout the entire run, but especially in Wolverine: Blood #4. I really loved the different plot twists throughout the comic. I wouldn't have been able to guess most of what took place would actually happen. Above all, I really appreciate how this comic kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

I thoroughly enjoyed X-Men: Blood Hunt Psylocke #1. It was a fun read as well as having the darkness and grittiness that I love. I can't wait to see more of Psylocke! The Blood Hunt event continues to be a treat to readers and fans!

As I always say, Stephanie Phillips never misses. X-Men: Blood Hunt- Laura Kinney The Wolverine #1 is such a wild ride of mutant goodness. I love seeing Laura and Scout working together but also at odds with each other. The dialogue was written in a way that you can see their both frustrated with each other, but still will do what needs to be done for the other. My one and only complaint is that I want more of it right this second!

Deadpool #4 continues the series perfectly, delivering just the right amount of story to keep readers eagerly anticipating more.

Deadpool #5 keeps the excitement going strong with excellent fights, fantastic banter, and creative 4th wall breaks. I really love seeing how Deadpool's mind is on his daughter's wellbeing while still holding true to the characteristics that him who he is. I think Cody Ziglar does a really great job at showing a different side of Deadpool without diminishing what we all know and love about his character. It's interesting how he integrated Ellie into Deadpool's day to day life flawlessly while making her into a powerhouse just like her dad.

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about Ellie taking on the role as Deadpool, but Cody Ziglar stuck the landing. But something else Ziglar did was play with my emotions. Everything was going too well with Ellie, so of course, Death Grip had to kill Deadpool. Deadpool #6 made you feel all the feelings while reading it. It really was an entertaining comic to read, so hats off to Ziglar and the whole creative team. I'm anxious but excited to see what comes next in Deadpool #7.

Overall, I think this was a great continuation showing all of the emotions everyone is feeling after losing Deadpool. I'm loving Ellie taking on the mantel as Deadpool but still having to uphold the "no kill rules. It's continuing to be a fun ride.

The artwork of this installment holds steady is being exciting to look at as it does in this entire run. But in Deadpool #8, I feel it has more of an abstract look to it, particularly with the scenes of the fight at Valentine's lab. It works really well for the story, and adds more of an action feel to the panels.

Erica Schultz hasn't missed once and Blood Hunters #1 seals that deal. I really enjoyed Blood Hunters #1-4, so I was ecstatic to see she was continuing the team of Dagger, Elsa, Hallow's Eve and White Widow. Now with the Blood Coven and Spider-Man in the mix, I'm more excited than ever. The Blood Coven is an exciting factor to add in as I'm looking forward to seeing them in action even more. With the Blood Hunters team, I really enjoy them working together as they seem like people who just wouldn't work together, but Schultz does a great job with their banter and tension.

All three stories within Blood Hunters #3 were excellent. Each one gave so much and left me wanting an entire comic run dedicated to the single story. The Blood Hunt event has been stupendous and this made me even more excited for what's next.

Satana and the Blood Bar was a fun read about a business owner having to work around the Blood Hunt, and the business owner just so happens to be a succubus with magical powers. Once More into the Darkness was the conclusion but still left you wanting more. I was ecstatic the words "just the beginning were written at the end of the story. I can't wait to see Elsa, Hallow's Eve, Dagger, and Yelena working together against the Blood Hunt.

The third installment of Dracula: Blood Hunt does an incredible job at continuing with as much excitement as the first two. I think this one was written with more intensity especially when dealing with Brielle's illusion. You could really feel her terror when she sees what she could become if she were to join Varnae. But you could also feel her anguish when she took that phone call from the person who pulled her out of the illusion. All in all, this is expertly written to have you feel every emotion that plays out in each panel.

I enjoyed the artwork of Mystique #1 as its grittiness matched the tone of the comic perfectly. What showcased the artists talent the most is when Mystique changed into several different characters. The drawing style is quite different than anything that's come out of the From The Ashes era, and I think the story benefited greatly from it.

I really enjoyed the first installment of NYX and can't wait to see what comes next. The storyline was a lot of fun with Kamala meeting other mutants that are living without a secret identity. Kamala is one of the most loved comic characters and I think she was handled perfectly in NYX #1. The dialogue was very modern and felt authentic to her character. The comic was an exciting ride that had a few twists and turns that kept the excitement flowing throughout NYX #1.

I love where this is going with the NYX run so far. It's interesting to see Kamala have to experience the bigotry of humans while still trying to be her usually wholesome and kind self. The comic ended on a very interesting cliffhanger involving Sophie, so that's something I'm really excited to see play out.

I think this was the most exciting NYX comic of this run to date. I was really hoping to hear more from Prodigy and the creative team truly delivered.

Overall, I've been enjoying NYX and have loved the story we've gotten. I'm really looking forward to seeing what's next for these mutants and their time in NYC.

I thought this was a creative and compelling ending to this run! It felt like it was written with the Avengers fans in mind. I look forward to seeing what's next for the creative team.

Throughout X-Men: Heir of Apocalypse, the writing has been exciting and very compelling. Steve Foxe does an excellent job at showcasing each mutant, proving why they're worthy of being the heir of Apocalypse.

I found Falling in Love on the Path to Hell #5 to be compelling in every aspect of the story. From Asami's backstory to the little bits of lore we get about MacRaith, it all left you wanting to know more about the characters. I really enjoyed the unspoken attraction between MacRaith and Asami, which was written perfectly. It wasn't written obviously and was much more of a vibe you could pick up on.

I think the Venom War event is really being slept on. Venom War: Venomous #2 was a lot of excitement and action, and had me wanting more. I look forward to seeing what's next for Natasha, Flash, and the zombiotes!

Erica Schultz has written the Woman Without Fear quite a few times, and I feel she nails each time. Everything from the inner dialogue of Elektra to the banter between her and Punisher was exciting to read. Daredevil: Woman Without Fear #2 is excitement all the way through. I just wish I had more of it to read, but I suppose that tells you how fun this comic is. This run has been exciting and fresh so far and I can't wait to read the third installment.

Another exciting issue of Daredevil: Woman Without Fear! Another issue with Elektra in Madripoor, which signifies that she's doing this on her own and not to expect Matt Murdock to join her. Erica Schultz writes Elektra really well, and shows her conflicted feelings via her inner dialogue in a way that makes you feel connected with her. I really enjoyed seeing the side characters in Daredevil: Woman Without Fear #3 like Silvermane, Count Nefaria, and another character Elektra seeks assistance from.

Something I really enjoyed was seeing Gwen in such a vulnerable space and having her see her dad come to her to comfort her. While it's been known that she misses her life back on her former universe, it was heart wrenching to see how much she truly missed her dad. It was beautifully handled by Stephanie Phillips. With each installment, the writing shows just how talented a writer Phillips is. There's so many complex factors in this run, and they're all handled gracefully and with ease.

As a Stephanie Phillips fan, I think she does a fantastic job with Gwen and her multiversal problems in the Spider-Gwen: The Ghost-Spider run. The fourth installment felt like it was more for continuity rather than storyline events. I like seeing how the other Spiders are handling Gwen and the problems that have been brought with her arrival in 616. I think it all ties in very well together for the overall story. Another thing I like it seeing Gwen having to deal with the classic Spider-Man villains. All in all, Phillips has me hooked on this run and I'm excited to see where it goes.

Gwen is on the run from the police with Chameleon! While the police our searching the skies for a swinging Spider-Hero, Gwen is underground in the sewers. Chameleon is in pretty bad shape with his powers malfunctioning and Gwen is trying to be of help. While she's trying to get to the bottom of the problem of Chameleon's powers, they're attacked by a familiar Spidey foe. With the assist of Chameleon's powers, they're able to get away. Little do they know, they're being tracked. The people that hired Chameleon to hunt down Gwen now have their coordinates. So that means Gwen is on the run from not only the good guys, but the bad guys too.

Von Randal adds a whole new depth to the story with him fantastic art. I had been loving the artwork of Spider-Gwen: The Ghost-Spider, but I really felt he added so much more. There's a whole new grittiness to the comic that I really goes really well with the characters and the story. The panel that show Black Tarantula and Spider-Gwen fighting were beautifully done and easily some of my favorite parts of the comic.

All in all, this is an event that seems tailor-made for Venom fans, and it shows with the amount of excitement coming off of each panel.

Al Ewing does a fantastic job at keeping you guessing and increasing the excitement through the comic. I'd say Venom War #2 was even better than the first installment.

This was a really great bit of continuation that added huge factors into the Venom War run. The ending of Venom War #3 makes me really interested to see where this goes. The plot gets more and more compelling, and I'm excited to see what's next!

Out of the Venom War run, I'd say this one is the most eye catching. With the zombiote attack, it looked eery and terrifying, as it should. But with other parts, such as scenes that involved Carnage, there was an impressive amount of detail in each panel. The dark colors with the bursts of bright red added a lot of impact to each page. You could really feel the tone of the comic just by the first few pages.

As I said, the dynamic written between the characters is top notch. I really like how the characters are written to work with each other. The chemistry shows loudly, which really showcases Jed MacKay's talent as a writer. There's some humorous banter between the characters, which felt really casual and done with ease. The X-Men played off each other so well, that it really felt like they've been a team longer than two issues.

The artists of X-Men have done a masterful job throughout this entire run, and the sixth installment is no exception. The impressive amount of detail that goes into each panel is astounding. But add that with the toned down colors with the occasional burst of color, and it's picture perfect. I think the artwork of X-Men #6 matches the tone incredibly well, so much so that it only elevates the already entertaining storyline.

So far, X-Force #1 has me hooked with how compelling the comic was. It gave just enough to keep you wanting more. I enjoyed the dialogues between each character, especially Deadpool with the X-Force members. I feel Geoffrey Thorne has a firm grasp on the characters to their core and it shows very well in this first installment. The writing was very well balanced with action, dialogue, and even some humor throughout the comic. I can't wait to see X-Force #2!

Admittedly, I didn't find X-Force #2 quite as strong as its predecessor, but it was still really entertaining. The character's are written with great chemistry which shows throughout the comic. So far, I'm really enjoying this X-Force team together as I feel they work really well together. Sage was a fun focal point of the comic, as it's a magic versus technology plot. All in all, I think this was a good continuation of the X-Force series, which makes me excited to see what's next.

I think this was a great bit of continuation with the promise of even more excitement in X-Force #4. So far, it's been a fun ride, and I'm eagerly waiting to see more.

The artists of X-Force #4 did a great job showing exactly how hectic the story was. You could really feel the exasperation in every panel. I think the emotions were showcased the most when the team was making their way to the swamp following Nuklo.

I would recommend anyone that's a fan of the older X-Force comics to check this run out. It has everything you could want in a mutant comic with plenty of unexpected twists and turns in every comic.

I really enjoyed the dark and grittiness of the artwork for Captain America #14! I think it meshed really well with the overall tone of the book as well as the character's storylines. Carlos Magno always delivers top quality work and this is no exception. With Espen Grundetjern handling the coloring and Joe Caramagna on letters, there's no going wrong here.

I found Exceptional X-Men #2 to be a pretty fun read that added great new characters to the story. Alex and Thao seem to have a lot of depth in their characters and I look forward to learning more about them. It's interesting to see Kate want to have this normal and relatable life, while being one of the strongest mutants. Of course, we know that that just isn't feasible for Kate, but it's nice to see her try. I think the writing perfectly illustrates just how badly she wants a normal life and how frustrated she is that she keeps getting pulled back into mutant problems.

The plot was exciting with a surprise attack from the Sinister Squadron, along with Madame Web's powers not working, and not even mentioning the surprise twists in the comic. Something I really enjoyed seeing all of the personalities come out from the members of the Spider-Society through their own dialogue. I think it would be really difficult to write a comic about so many different characters who are so connected, but Alex Segura really did well with it. Personally, I would have liked more explanation on a couple things, but I'm sure that'll happen in due time.

There's a lot going on in Spider-Society #2 as it's constant action throughout the comic. It is hard to watch your favorite Spider-heroes get beating down time after time, but it certainly adds tension to the already exciting run. The reveal of who the big bad is was something I didn't see coming, and was a really creative idea in my opinion. I'm excited to see where this run goes as so much has already happened in the first two installments.

The artwork continues to impress in Spider-Society #3. The vibrant colors juxtaposed with the darker backgrounds really make each panel pop. Each member of the Spider-Society looks absolutely gorgeous in their own right. Something I really loved was the look of the Web of Life and Destiny towards the end. With the amount of detail that's used in each piece of the Web, it really is beautiful to see when it's combined with the bright blues and the reds of the Spider-Men.

I really enjoyed this run all the way through but I think I enjoyed the fourth installment the most and it was a very satisfying ending, while giving you excitement for the future.

I think the writing was fantastic. It kept me on captivated in every panel very easily. The story was fun with twists and turns I didn't see coming. This felt like a Venom comic, but a much more serious and substantial version of it.

The comic gives you so many different things such as action, mystery, and even some violence. It was enthralling to read and kept me on my toes the entire time. Can't wait to read the second installment!

I thoroughly enjoyed how this installment enriched the Something is Killing the Children series. It stayed true to Erica's character while making her journey relatable to readers. The portrayal of Erica's emotions was perfectly suited to the storyline, and the therapist's role added depth to her character, revealing even more dimensions. Overall, this issue felt grounded and authentic, which I found particularly compelling.

The art of House of Slaughter #27 is as dark as the story is, which makes it perfect for the comic. It really brings a whole other level of darkness to the story. With close ups of the character's faces, you can truly see the worry and tension in each panel. The facial expressions of the characters juxtaposed with their brightly colored eyes adds even more depth to what the characters are saying.

Megan Overall, I found Midst: Address Unknown #1 to be really interesting and a fun read. I can't wait to follow along and learn more about this new world!

I found the artwork of Black Cloak #9 to be a great representation of the story. With a variety of different color tones in each scene, the artists did really well in making each page feel the emotions of the story. There are quite a few things I really enjoyed like how adorable the Taka were or how menacing the Dragyern was.

I found this comic to be very captivating throughout Endless #1. I'm very excited to read the rest of the run as it's said to be a difference universe or a different life in each installment. Overall, this felt really refreshing to me. Hats off to the creative team!

I really like how many twists and turns are in this run. Venom: Separation Anxiety #3 does a great job with continuation of the overall story while adding new factors into the mix. There's so much going on throughout the comic, but it flows very nicely and doesn't feel forced in the least. David Michelinie does an excellent job at keeping you hooked to every panel, while sitting on the edge of your seat.

I enjoyed the plot of this comic a lot. It's interesting to see Carnage in a vulnerable state but to do everything in his power to find what he needs. I'm really interested to see where this goes. Although, I liked the writing of Venom War: Carnage #1, I did really want to see how Carnage ties into the Venom War. Time will tell on that.

Venom War: Wolverine #2 was an entertaining read with a great couple of cameos thrown in. It was interesting to get a look into Flynn's trauma and what he's struggling with when it comes to his father. There were some unanswered questions about Keene and his leadership of the zombiotes that I would've liked answered, so I'm looking forward to reading more. I am especially interested in what'll happen in the next installment when we were left with that twist at the very end.

I enjoyed X-Factor #2 more than I did its predecessor as it felt it added more depth to the story. I really like the tension it created between Havok and Polaris, with them being the face of their respective organizations. It was interesting to see the other mutant's perspective on working with humans, which wasn't a surprising stance. I would love to see more depth play out between the deep cut members of X-Factor.
