Horrible story and art. I'm not sure how DC allowed this one to be released.

This was just awful. Both story and art. Bendis needs to move on.

Awful story and terrible art make for a really bad book that DC should be embarrassed to put out. I hope that Bendis takes Romita Jr. with him when he's done.

Just awful. Some of the worst "artwork" I've ever seen in a comic. The art is so bad, it makes it impossible to enjoy anything about this.

Wow...this one was awful. They all wanted Batman to love them? Come on! How about the Joker is a lunatic?

This issue was pure garbage. I am a HUGE Batman fan and I will be happy when Tom King is off this book. I don't really understand how DC handed him Batman to begin with. His issue have been okay up to now (nothing great, nothing horrible), but this issue was awful.

King's run on Batman just gets worse and worse. Please get him off this book and off any major DC property!

Shocker....more garbage from Tom King on Batman. Again, please get him off this title!!!!

Just awful. Tom King continues to prove that he isn't capable of writing Batman (or any other major DC character). After buying Batman for over 40 years, I think I may have to say goodbye until they get King off this book.

More terrible writing from Tom King. Just an awful story.

The absolute worst run on Batman ever continues. Again....please get Tom King out of the DC Universe.

Even more garbage from Tom King. He has no grasp of Batman and I will be thrilled when they get him off of this book.

Yay! More useless garbage by Tom King. Again, please remove him from any of DC's main books!

I don't think I will ever understand why DC is letting Tom King write this book.

Tom King's horrible run on Batman continues. I can't wait for him to be off of this book.

Absolute garbage from Tom King. Thankfully this is his last issue and hopefully there are better things to come for this title.

Terrible ending to a terrible story line, but I glad it's over. Even worse was the backup with the Bat girls. That may be the worst art I've ever seen in a comic and would definitely keep me from ever buying the book when it comes out.

More garbage from Tom King in an even bigger format. How was he ever given the chance to write Batman?

Once again, Tom King proves that he is not a good writer and should not be working for DC. The nice art can't save this one at all.

King continues to show that he cannot write a decent book. I've tried to stay with this, as I love the Batman character, but I'm done with this one.

I keep trying and this book just continues to be awful. I shouldn't be surprised because everything Tom King writes is garbage, but the art by Liam Sharp is also awful, which surprises me.

Tom King is just an awful writer and he continues to prove it here. Beautiful artwork by Clay Mann is just wasted on this garbage.

More awfulness from Tom King. I know I shouldn't be surprised, but I always hope he can write something decent.

More "Batman Who Laughs" garbage. Please get rid of this character.

This was just a mess and an uninteresting one at that.

I am not enjoying any of the Batman "White Knight" stuff by Sean Murphy! Bad art and a poor excuse for a story.

Complete garbage.

I was really looking forward to see what that had here for the Legion and I was very disappointed when I opened it up to see that it was written by Bendis. His run on the Legion was awful, so it didn't give me great expectations here, but I was willing to give it a try. Then, I see that the art is by Riley Rossmo and as usual, his art is just awful. I'm not sure how he has a job drawing comics. The combination of the two (a typically bad story by Bendis and horrible art by Rossmo)gave exactly what I would expect..garbage. Once again, I beg DC to give the Legion a title with a decent writer and artist. I miss the Legion.

Such absolute, complete garbage. It's bad enough that they let Bendis write another Legion related book, but to add the absolutely awful drawings (can't really call it art) by Rossmo is even worse. If I could rank this any lower, I would. I really wish DC would give the Legion a title with a good writer and artist.

Wow... this was awful. Bad story, awful artwork and just an absolutely terrible and embarrassing new costume for Thunderbird. I hate the I paid money for this garbage.

I really miss the Legion and want so badly for them to have a book again, but having said that, this again is a garbage story with truly awful art. Please bring the real Legion back and keep Bendis away from them.

Wow...this is bad. I love the Legion. They are my favorites of all time, but this is just horrible. The characters don't even look like themselves. This 2 issue series was really pointless and seeing that the Legion has been completely changed, I'm not at all confident that the new series will be worth reading at all.

Just truly awful. Sadly, this isn't the Legion.

Bendis continues to show he should not be writing the Legion. As much as I love the Legion, this book is garbage. DC needs to cancel it and bring the real Legion back in a new series.

As much as it kills me to say this, the Bendis version of the Legion is just awful. It's unrecognizable as the Legion and this issue is even worse than most. Some of the "art" in this issue is truly AWFUL and it amazes me that someone let it be published in an actual comic.

It really is time for DC to get rid of Tom King. His books are just awful.

Just another terrible character that Marvel is forcing in and a terrible book.

Just another awful Justice League issue. They need to get Bryan Hitch away from writing as soon s possible. I can't believe that I'd now dropped Justice League from my pull list.

Hitch continues to kill the Justice League. He can't leave the title soon enough.

I was SO disappointed in this book. I've been waiting for the Legion to return for SO long and was so anxious to read this....only to find that the Legion isn't in it.

So disappointing. The Legion is my favorite group in comics and has been for many, many years. I was very happy when it was announced that they were finally coming back and now, I'm very disappointed in this mess that Bendis has delivered. I HATE the changes made to all of the characters (changing their race, etc.). It just makes no sense. The Legion has always been diverse, with characters of various colors, races, species, etc., so I just don't understand making these changes to characters who have existed for SO many years. Then, an odd, uninteresting story and so-so art on top of it. I have a feeling this one won't be around for long. Maybe we'll get a black label Legion comic starring the real thing?

What is this garbage? I've waited so long for the Legion to come back and this is what we get? DC really needs to get rid of Bendis. He has no concept of DC's characters. This was just awful.

This, to put it simply, just isn't good. As I've stated before, the Legion is my favorite group in all of comics, but this isn't the Legion. I don't understand the need to pander and change the characters so much.

Bendis continues his attempt to destroy the Legion. Hopefully he'll be off this title very soon and a writer will be on the book. The highlight of this issue was seeing Legion legend, Mike Grell draw a page. Otherwise, there was some good art, some decent art and some absolutely awful art that looks like a first grader drew it.

Nothing very exciting or new here. Done after 2 issues.

My favorite character, but bad writing (I expect nothing else from Tom Taylor), awful art and a message of a story line are just killing this book.

I am a big fan of the Titans, but this book is a mess. The Titans barely appear in it at all. The art is okay, but it's a story that hold no interest at all. Let's get Gar back to his normal self and get rid of the "Beast" you're trying to turn him into and let's make the book interesting again, with good character writing and good adventures.

Bad story, poor art...this one just wasn't worth picking up at all. I will not be back for more of this.

This book was extremely disappointing and had nothing that made me want to come back for another issue. Poor writing, poor art, desperately using blatant ripoffs of characters from other companies....just nothing worth taking another look at.

I found this to be a bit of a mess. I wanted to like it, but just didn't feel like it was good. The art was very inconsistent...sometimes good, sometimes awful. With the hefty $10 price tag, it just wasn't worth it at all.

Another poor issue from Tom King. Please get him off this book!

More garbage from Tom King, but some nice art by Tony Daniel.

An okay story with some horrible art.

This was a whole lot of nothing!

A bad and boring book. I dropped this one after this issue.

I keep by it because I love the Legion, but after I read each issue, I continue to be SO disappointed. Please get a new creative team on this book and bring back the Legion.

Enough of the Ric garbage. This issue was a slight improvement over the past few issues, but it's really time to get Dick Grayson back to being Nightwing.

3.5
Supergirl (2016) #36 Nov 25, 2019

There wasn't much to enjoy in this issue. Bendis' Superman is definitely missing something!

This is not a good book. I love the Ant-Man character and was excited to give this a try, but I really disliked it. The art wasn't good and the story was much too silly for my taste.

Pretty boring. Not a fan of this version of Batgirl (even though it's a little better than Burnside. Dropped the series after this issue.

A bad story, no real tie in to Joker war and some really bad art...just didn't do it for me.

Really disappointed in this one. The story was garbage and I didn't really like the art either. I feel like I've seen MUCH better are from Liam Sharp in the past.

Weak story with bad art.

I tried. I thought it had potential with issue one, but it's taken such a horrible turn for the worst.

Just unreadable with the horrendous art by Rossmo. I still don't understand how he gets paid to draw comics.

The really bad, boring artwork hurts this book and will keep me from reading more.

This series is such a disappointment. Along with getting rid of Wally and Roy, it's just so poorly written, which seems to be typical for Tom King. DC REALLY needs to get him off any of their major books. Maybe he can handle one of the cartoon crossovers?

Such a disappointing story. Definitely not worth the hefty price tag.

2 issues in and I'm done. I've always loved the Moon Knight character and was very excited for this series, but this just isn't doing it for me.

Decent art, horrible story. The mess of the Ric Grayson experiment continues and DC seems to still be intent on destroying one of their oldest and best characters.

Nocterra #1 Mar 8, 2021

Very Boring and horrible artwork. I was excited to see a new installment of this series, but this was disappointing.

I am typically a big fan of Geoff Johns and I miss him writing books on a regular basis, but I have to say, I'm not thrilled with this run on Shazam. I don't think I've done this to a book written by Geoff Johns in the past, but I think I am dropping this title.

Wanted to like this one, but just didn't. I will give it another issue, but we'll see how it goes.

I'm a fan of Stephen King, but this didn't do anything for me. The story was okay, but the art was really bad.

Awful art and a pretty uninteresting story. I'm really disappointed.

An uninteresting story and absolutely AWFUL art. Phil Hester is another artist that should not be being paid to draw comics.

Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen (2019) #2 Aug 26, 2019

Not much to like here. Bad art and a non very interesting story.

I really think it's a shame.... I've been reading comics for a very long time and I've been around for when Black Lightning was first introduced and for when Mal and Karen got involved with the Titans. I loved all of it and this series just put a spin on it that I did not enjoy at all and it actually took away from these characters.

I really wanted to like this book and really hoped that the X-men were finally going to be worth reading again, but I unfortunately have to say that I came away disappointed. The story wasn't great and the art was only fair. I can't see coming back for more after this mess of a first issue.

The art was great. but that's really the only plus here. DC needs to get Tom King off of Batman (and any of their hi profile books). He really isn't good and would be better suited to Scooby Doo or one of those titles.

I had enjoyed this arc, but this ending just felt rushed and incomplete.

Just very disappointed in this. I'm still shocked that a horrible character like the Clownhunter is getting so much exposure.

As usual, Tom King's writing is terrible and he still doesn't know how to write Batman. The art is great, though!

I hate everything about the Batman Who Laughs and now the other heroes who laugh, but I will say that this issue had some nice art and the story wasn't awful.

I'm done after two issues. Nice art, but the story just isn't much to keep me interested. It's definitely not worth the price.

These Prelude to the Wedding books have been mediocre at best. This one is no exception.

Unfortunately, it's just not very good. The Tom King story is horrible (as usual for King).

That is some awful artwork in this book. Makes it not worth picking up.

Once again, I love the Legion. They have been my favorite group in comics for as long as I can remember. However, this version that Bendis has created, just isn't doing it! Too many changes to characters and forcing Damian down our throats just doesn't make a good Legion book.

It's just sad that they brought back the Legion only to have Bendis not do any justice to it at all. Hopefully DC will bring the real Legion back in a series with a decent writer and artist.

Decided to give this one a try since there's been so much hype about it and since I really would love to have a good "X-Men comic" again. Unfortunately, I didn't find this to be anything special and definitely not worth continuing to buy each month.

Great art. An okay story that is REALLY dragging. Not much happened in this issue. I may be done with it after two issues.

Nice art, as usual, by Janin. Uninteresting story, as usual, by Morrison.

I'm not sure what DC is doing right now, but I'm finding that very few of their books are currently worth reading. This one was not good either; some poor art and stories of no substance.

Good art, but I was not impressed with the story.

Not enjoying this one at all. I gave it 3 issues and now I'm done.

The Man of Steel (2018) #4 Jun 22, 2018

Disappointing on all levels. So far, I an not really impressed by anything Bendis has brought to Superman, but I hope that changes. The sequence with Jon seemed extremely out of character. I was also really disappointed with the art by Adam Hughes. Typically I'm a big fan of his work, but it just wasn't very good in this issue.

The Metal spinoffs have largely been bad and this is no exception. I'm done with this one after the first issue.

Been a Titans fan for SO SO long, but I think I'm almost at the point of dropping this one and it makes me sort of sad.

Two issues in and I'm done. There's nothing interesting in this book, which has been the problem with the X-Men titles for years.

Despite some really good art, this book still didn't do it for me. Tom King continues to prove that DC needs to get him their main characters. I'm really hoping that since Booster is involved, it means there will be some time travel coming up that reverses some of the deaths. Rebirth spent so much time at rebuilding the DC universe and did a good job of it. It brought back characters that needed to come back and now this mess sets out to reverse that and get rid of some of them again. I just don't get it.

Did not this to be very interesting at all.

Was not a big fan of this issue. Okay art, boring story and way too expensive.

I know nothing about Thorne personally, so I can't speak to that, but I will say that I thought that this was SO much better than the garbage that Morrison was putting out. I'll give the second issue a shot.

This book is okay. Don't love it, don't hate it. I hope it gets better.

This book was good. The story was well done, but the art was awful. I've just never been a fan of Nguyen's scratchings and that hasn't changed.

I like the story a lot, but as usual Nguyen's art is just not my thing. I really think it's awful art and hurts what could have been a fantastic book.

I have liked this story a lot and look forward to the rest of it, however, I have to say that the art was really bad in this issue and that took the score way down for me.

It's okay. I've never been the huge fan of Bendis that so many others have been, so I am still not convinced that he won't really hurt the Superman line of books. Lois and Jon should be a part of the Superman titles and I'm afraid he's going to do something to change that.

I was a little disappointed. I liked the lead story, but it was too short considering the price. The rest of the issue was useless filler.

Definitely better than the Justice League books that have been out over the past several years, but I'm not a huge Snyder fan and I didn't enjoy Metal, so I don't think everything needs to tie into that series. The art is good and I like that the League feels like a team and like friends. So not great, but it was good.

Enjoyable issue. Tynion would be a far better choice for this title than Snyder.
